As of last estimate of the number of galaxies after a recount with modern instruments, that number rose from 200 billion to 2 trillion which is a 10 fold increase. Even if each galaxy held only 1 species, there would be 2 trillion species.
Of course simple mathematical probability suggests a much much larger number of species.
2 trillion galaxies X 100 billion stars/galaxy = 4e+23 (4 followed by 23 zeros)
So a highly conservative estimate is 400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 species.
Granted not all will be hyper intelligent, but still this is just in our observable universe, not to mention other realities, dimensions, universes.
The number of life forms would be many times larger than that and considering species come and go, the history of life in our universe alone is simply staggering.

No amount of graphics can even begin to show what the actual tree of life can look like much less know with any certainty.

I have not even mentioned artificial lifeforms or intelligences because my brain hurts.
