The next surveillance camera that may pick you up, may actually be in someone's EYE. And this is no joke. I posted this on my facebook page over 5 years ago.. And while this wasn't the link, the other one was MUCH MOVE ADVANCED, it drives the point home.

Now that I have suggested that, I am going to take it one step further. Because we ARE creating mind/computer interfacing. People are able to manipulate robotic limbs using nothing more than thought alone. Think about that.. Our minds have NO FIREWALL... Here is a video from probably about 30 years ago where they were able to grow neural tissue on a computer chip, and there was NO BRAIN attached to it. And this means they can attach the computer chip to the brain, or nervous system and get the SAME result folks.

And I am fairly sure they're going to find a way to use the electrical system of humanity itself to eventually power these devices. But think about this, how many places in the body do you have that send information to the brain? Does this "Chip" need to be in the brain? The hand? Anywhere? Can we now do this remotely, using nothing more than something that can penetrate the body, and send signals to the brain and also receive them?


We have the means, and ABILITY to track someone's movement anywhere on the planet now. And we don't have to have a PHONE in our pocket. Each human body has a signature, we have facial recognition, we have all we need to do this. We have GPS to pinpoint people, and the ability to sort people out from SPACE.. (They can clearly photograph a postage stamp from space)

With the medical establishments fine tuning computers and limb mastery... With mere thought alone, imagine what else people will welcome into their lives with those little chips they will be offering.. "What? I can start my car with one? Turn on my security cameras at home? Plan my day, AND catch a movie if I buy the complimentary holo lenses? SIGN ME UP".. And we're now playing with this stuff for military applications.. ("Kill Order" anyone)...

It seems harmless when they're using computer generated "Icons" and cartoonish "Dolls", but I am here to tell you, they can create REALISTIC looking images as well, and that's no joke. They're putting out harmless images so you won't think that Geesh, this could be dangerous! This isn't a "Mistake" it's deliberate. But they're now really getting good at creating 360' photography for merged reality simulations. Don't believe it? Go look at the home buyers market, and you will find a few sites that allow you to spin around in a room and see it as if you're standing in it.

The question isn't when will this stuff be available? It already is. It's just not common knowledge. You have to look for each individual component.

Link your contacts to the wifi in the area, and that ugly field across the street from your house can instantly turn into a visual zen garden with this technology. They have all the coordinates, and the computer power to do just that. You look, the computer determines what is there, and that programmed zen garden not only appears, it looks REAL.. Want to see purple skies? Why not? Just program it into the lenses, so long as Google fine tunes their images on a regular basis, well it would easily be possible. Get enough people "Hooked up" and they will be able to map the INSIDE of all buildings.

So lets say you're waiting at a airport for your flight, and you want to watch your current tv program.. Double blink and there it is, right there playing in color on your contact lens. Double blink to remind the kids to lock the doors after they get safely home from schoo!..

We went right over Google Glass, and directly into contact lenses. We won't even need those once we get direct access to the nervous system or the optic nerve. And folks, our brains have no firewall. How long would it take before someone decided to drone the entire population? Can 5G carry waves that can penetrate the mind in such a way? Has anyone checked into THAT aspect of 5G?

In a bad mood? Upload some relaxation music. Heck, just alter the brain waves to make yourself happy.. Why not? Because it is coming. New breasts, new eye colors, new face with surgery, and now some new vision. Imagine the GAMING capabilities. Link up on social media in a Merged Reality way, where your friends are sitting in your living room, because Mark Zuckerberg is trying to do this already!

There will come a time where you can drive down the street, and the streets, having all been mapped out, will be there, but you will be able to change the view, like dressing up paper dolls.. It's no joke. It doesn't take long to find this stuff and to realize it is all so very real. Why use video cameras for surveillance, when you can upload the vision of a neighborhood of "Crime watch" participants?

Personally, I follow the tech field closely, I follow DARPA closely. I am interested in such things, yet no one here seems to talk about these things.. I am excited and TERRIFIED about what I am seeing roll out. And I think that people should be paying attention.

Because eventually this WILL be used as a weapon. it already is. LRAD was the first brain disrupt device that I am aware of, and they have FINE TUNED IT since that point.

I will post some more detailed links in the near future, I promised I would post something I found interesting and worthy of discussion. Whether that is the case or not, I sure ponder such things..

Wow, that sentence alone is already quite a huge concept and hard to wrap one's brain around. And yet, that is how human civilization has always worked. One party, the mass of humanity supplies the energy, the work, and the other, the elite, or whoever "they" are, supplies the control, according to an agenda they have conceived. But really, why would you want to bore yourself with viewing that agenda when a kaleidoscopic panorama of images from the Amazonian rainforest to the Canals of Venice could be pumped into your brain instead?

Let me guess that the landscape we see through our 5G powered google glass vision enhancer won't be one of our own design. It will be conveniently programmed for our enjoyment by the lovely people at the Silicon Valley branch of the CIA. To keep us shielded from the ugliness and unpleasantry of the world, it will have a filter to take out the wars, famine and injustice that occurs on this planet which just doesn't harmonize with the smooth jazz piped into your ears, that is, if you still need ears for the sonic data stream to interface with your mind.

Actually Onawah? That is the scariest part, rather than FIX anything, the temptation would be to "escape to a nicer place"... Humanity isn't really known for being very responsible in their own playground..

Let's just hope humanity wakes up in the very near future.. And takes care of its own home before creating new ones to run into.

Agreed! It looks like we won't be allowed to get very far from this planet to make any new homes to run to until we become a lot more civilized and/or a lot more sophisticated technologically, in any case.
Escapist technology such as virtual reality won't make for much of an escape when in reality our real bodies and the real biosphere are dying.
But either way, we still will be relying on this planet for many of the resources that are needed to make that technology, and the planet is running out of a lot of those resources.
However sophisticated our technology may become, we can't 3D print a new planet!
Consumerism is a really bad idea whose day has come and gone, and we're going to have to learn how to conserve and restore, if we want to survive.
If we don't, the only "progress" will be a progression downhill.
The doomsday global warming scam is just that, but a mini Ice Age will be devastating, and will interrupt a whole lot of plans for the future that are being made now, because that likelihood isn't being taken into account.
It will bring about a whole lot of change very quickly, whether we want it or not!

Scientists Project Holograms Into The Brain To Create Experiences

One day soon you may be filling your lungs with crisp ocean air, your arms bathed in warm light as the sun sets over softly lapping waters and you may wonder, is this real? Or are scientists projecting holograms into my brain to create a vivid sensory experience that isn’t actually happening? A group of researchers at University of California, Berkeley are in the early stages of testing their ability to create, edit and scrub sensory experiences from your brain, both real-time and stored experiences: memories.

Using light to make us see what isn’t there.

Different sensory experiences show up in brain imaging as patterns of neurons firing in sequence. Neuroscientists are trying to reverse-engineer experiences by stimulating the neurons to excite the same neural patterns. At present, the steps to accomplish this are a little invasive. Scientists genetically modify neurons with photosensitive proteins so they can gingerly manipulate neurons using light. The process is known as optogenetics. Also, a metal head plate gets surgically implanted over the targeted area.

Then there’s the challenge of finding a way to bull's-eye each individual, microscopic cell body without exciting neighboring neurons. Enter computer generated holography (CGH) to create three-dimensional floating light shapes. The diffracted light-forms are projected into the brain, sailing through a gossamer layer of brain tissue at the surface of the cortex and triggering just the right pattern and rhythm of neural activity to generate specific sensations and perceptions. The holograms can stimulate, edit and suppress patterns of neurons that correlate with the brain activity of actual experiences.

"The major advance is the ability to control neurons precisely in space and time," says Nicolas Pégard, one of the first authors of a paper in Nature Neuroscience today. "In other words, to shoot the very specific sets of neurons you want to activate and do it at the characteristic scale and the speed at which they normally work."

Development of the device required imagination and a confluence of emergent technologies. "This is the culmination of technologies that researchers have been working on for a while, but have been impossible to put together," says another of the first authors, Alan Mardinly. "We solved numerous technical problems at the same time to bring it all together and finally realize the potential of this technology."

The team published a paper last year in the journal Nature Communications, dubbing their holographic brain modulator The 3D-SHOT: a three-dimensional scanless holographic optogenetics with temporal focusing.

What The 3D Shot could do for us.

The therapeutic potential for the device is exciting. From helping to restore sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, to reinstating sensation in patients with peripheral nerve damage and helping amputees control prosthetic limbs.

"This has great potential for neural prostheses, since it has the precision needed for the brain to interpret the pattern of activation,” says Mardinly. “If you can read and write the language of the brain, you can speak to it in its own language and it can interpret the message much better." Mardinly is already thinking beyond therapeutic uses, towards augmenting human experience: "This is one of the first steps in a long road to develop a technology that could be a virtual brain implant with additional senses or enhanced senses."

Early stages.

We’re still a ways off before you can plan your next staycation at a 3D Shot themed resort and spa. As of now, the researchers are testing a prototype in the visual, touch and motor areas of mice brains.

The mice are showing similar patterns of neural response correlating to sensory stimuli. The next step is training the mice so scientists can observe behavior changes that correspond to the stimulation. Studying behavioral cues is the best measure of success because you can’t ask a mouse if it’s experiencing the ripe, mushroomy taste of Limburger cheese as you flash holograms into its cortex.

The researchers plan to scale-up the device’s capacity to interpret and create from a broader terrain of brain matter while scaling-down the device to make it portable enough to slip inside a backpack.

They’re also working towards capturing neural patterns inside the brain with the goal of reproducing sensory experience and playing it back through holography.

DARPA Wants to Create Mind-Controlled Weapons of War

Last year, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced that it was seeking noninvasive ways “to achieve high levels of brain-system communications without surgery.” The techniques would “allow precise, high-quality connections to specific neurons or groups of neurons.”

The agency wants to create mind-controlled weapons of war, as it (vaguely) explained in two recent press releases.

To achieve this goal, DARPA recently formed a program called Next-Generation Nonsurgical Neurotechnology (N3).

DARPA wants soldiers to be able to control machines with their minds.

According to a press release published on May 20, 2019, the agency has awarded funding to six companies to support N3:


Battelle Memorial Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), Rice University, and Teledyne Scientific are leading multidisciplinary teams to develop high-resolution, bidirectional brain-machine interfaces for use by able-bodied service members. These wearable interfaces could ultimately enable diverse national security applications such as control of active cyber defense systems and swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles, or teaming with computer systems to multitask during complex missions.

When the four-year program was announced last year, in a press release DARPA began by mentioning all of the positive things that brain-machine interfaces are being used for:


Over the past two decades, the international biomedical research community has demonstrated increasingly sophisticated ways to allow a person’s brain to communicate with a device, allowing breakthroughs aimed at improving quality of life, such as access to computers and the internet, and more recently control of a prosthetic limb. DARPA has been at the forefront of this research.

The state of the art in brain-system communications has employed invasive techniques that allow precise, high-quality connections to specific neurons or groups of neurons. These techniques have helped patients with brain injury and other illnesses.

Sounds noble enough…until you get to the next line.


However, these techniques are not appropriate for able-bodied people. DARPA now seeks to achieve high levels of brain-system communications without surgery, in its new program, Next-Generation Nonsurgical Neurotechnology (N3)

“DARPA created N3 to pursue a path to a safe, portable neural interface system capable of reading from and writing to multiple points in the brain at once,” said Dr. Al Emondi, program manager in DARPA’s Biological Technologies Office (BTO). “High-resolution, nonsurgical neurotechnology has been elusive, but thanks to recent advances in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, synthetic biology, and nanotechnology, we now believe the goal is attainable.”

They want this technology to be ready within the next few years.

DARPA wants to build brain-machine interfaces that match the performance of implanted electrodes but with no surgery whatsoever, in other words – and they want the technology SOON:


By simply popping on a helmet or headset, soldiers could conceivably command control centers without touching a keyboard; fly drones intuitively with a thought; even feel intrusions into a secure network.

According to a report from IEEE Spectrum, “a DARPA spokesperson declined to comment on the amount of funding, but two of the winning teams are reporting eye-popping grants of $19.48 million and $18 million.” That report provides some additional details on the program:


Specifically, the program is seeking technologies that can read and write to brain cells in just 50 milliseconds round-trip, and can interact with at least 16 locations in the brain at a resolution of 1 cubic millimeter (a space that encompasses thousands of neurons).

The four-year N3program will consist of three phases, says Emondi. In the current phase 1, teams have one year to demonstrate the ability to read (record) and write to (stimulate) brain tissue through the skull. Teams that succeed will move to phase 2. Over the ensuing 18 months, those groups will have to develop working devices and test them on living animals. Any group left standing will proceed to phase 3—testing their device on humans.

DARPA’s press releases on N3 are fairly vague, and the inner workings of the agency are a bit secretive.

In November 2018, The Atlantic published an eye-opening report on DARPA. Here are a few disturbing excerpts, but I highly recommend reading the report in its entirety.


DARPA has dreamed for decades of merging human beings and machines. Some years ago, when the prospect of mind-controlled weapons became a public-relations liability for the agency, officials resorted to characteristic ingenuity. They recast the stated purpose of their neurotechnology research to focus ostensibly on the narrow goal of healing injury and curing illness. The work wasn’t about weaponry or warfare, agency officials claimed. It was about therapy and health care. Who could object? But even if this claim were true, such changes would have extensive ethical, social, and metaphysical implications. Within decades, neurotechnology could cause social disruption on a scale that would make smartphones and the internet look like gentle ripples on the pond of history.

Yet DARPA’s work to repair damaged bodies was merely a marker on a road to somewhere else. The agency has always had a larger mission, and in a 2015 presentation, one program manager—a Silicon Valley recruit—described that mission: to “free the mind from the limitations of even healthy bodies.” What the agency learns from healing makes way for enhancement. The mission is to make human beings something other than what we are, with powers beyond the ones we’re born with and beyond the ones we can organically attain.

Human enhancement became an agency priority. “Soldiers having no physical, physiological, or cognitive limitation will be key to survival and operational dominance in the future,” predicted Michael Goldblatt, who had been the science and technology officer at McDonald’s before joining DARPA in 1999. To enlarge humanity’s capacity to “control evolution,” he assembled a portfolio of programs with names that sounded like they’d been taken from video games or sci-fi movies: Metabolic Dominance, Persistence in Combat, Continuous Assisted Performance, Augmented Cognition, Peak Soldier Performance, Brain-Machine Interface.

The programs of this era, as described by Annie Jacobsen in her 2015 book, The Pentagon’s Brain, often shaded into mad-scientist territory. The Continuous Assisted Performance project attempted to create a “24/7 soldier” who could go without sleep for up to a week. (“My measure of success,” one DARPA official said of these programs, “is that the International Olympic Committee bans everything we do.”). Jacobsen suggested that darpa’s neurotechnology research, including upper-limb prosthetics and the brain-machine interface, is not what it seems: “It is likely that darpa’s primary goal in advancing prosthetics is to give robots, not men, better arms and hands.”

DARPA has been trying to create supersoldiers with robotic technology for decades, as Daisy Luther reported in Robot Apocalypse: “With Artificial Intelligence We Are Summoning the Demon”:


Over the years, DARPA has invested billions into exoskeleton suits for ground troops. This wearable robotic system gives soldiers the ability to carry heavier objects, run faster, and even leap over large obstacles. (source) Imagine trying to take on an enemy (or rogue soldier) who basically has superpowers.

However, DARPA is not the only entity that is messing around with mind-machine melding. Several companies and neuro-engineers – including Facebook and Elon Musk’s Neuralink – are also developing brain-computer interfaces.
