"I just got this down from upstairs" -- meaning the Secretary of Defense's office -- "today." And he said, "This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran." I said, "Is it classified?" He said, "Yes, sir." I said, "Well, don't show it to me." And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, "You remember that?" He said, "Sir, I didn't show you that memo! I didn't show it to you!"

I‘ve heard the speech years ago and since then I‘ve been wondering and could not come up with an idea about why those seven countries? The Middle Eastern countries okay. Libya obvious, okay. Iran obvious, okay. But why Sudan and Somalia? What exactly makes them a target, and not Egypt or Eritrea, for example, or Jordan? I had a look at the world map again and that explains a lot but not sufficiently.

Gulf crisis: US confirms drone was shot down by Iranian missile

A US military surveillance drone has been shot down by Iranian forces while flying over the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the drone had violated Iranian airspace. But US military said it had been over international waters.

IRGC commander-in-chief Maj-Gen Hossein Salami said the downing of the drone sent a "clear message to America" that Iran's borders were its "red line".

It comes at a time of escalating tension between the US and Iran.

On Monday, the US defence department said it was deploying 1,000 extra troops to the region in response to "hostile behaviour" by Iranian forces.

The US has also accused Iran of attacking two oil tankers with mines last Thursday just outside the Strait of Hormuz, in the Gulf of Oman. Iran rejects the allegation.

Anybody keeping tally on how many air strikes Trump has made on Iran so far?

I've counted two false flags in the past couple of weeks, meant to blame Iran and goad Trump into air strikes. A certain two congressmen were even seen celebrating the initial "decision to strike" before it was announced that Trump cancelled the strike and that it would not occur.

For those paying attention, how much of this is business as usual? Who is goading us into war with Iran, and who is putting on the brakes? Figure that one out.

One more thing to ponder upon. We had 9/11 to kick off the Mid-East wars. The false flags going on today are kid stuff by comparison. Are someone's funds drying up? Military/intelligence contacts being shut down? Can't organize such grand operations anymore perhaps?
