You can say the universe has intelligent design, i think it does, but i think its more than intelligent design, its like detailed patterns that just repeat until infinity. Everything repeats itself over and over in patterns, even life in the universe. Its almost like the universe acts more like a computer would than an intelligence would.....and we are a creation of it, or are we a creation in it.....

I look at it this way. None of us know who we are, God included. Who are you? This question can't be answered by a simple name. That is your name it's not who you are. It's not your work, it's not your desires it's what? Who are you? We don't know anymore than God did in that we are something! We know we are something. We can say that safely I think. Yes we are something and further we could say that we are something that dreams. Right? I mean we all dream. This is likely God's dream and so really we can only go from there. The name doesn't last. The job doesn't last. The clothes, the car, the house, they are all fleeting and even the vessel, the body too is temporary so who are you? You and me and everyone you know, we're something that dreams and this is our dream.

You can think of it this way; you see your body grow older, first a baby then a child then adult and then a old person,
you are observing all these changes happening, you are aware of them, what is witnessing these changes happening?

That you that sees the changes must itself be changeless in order to perceive these changes.

Is it not the same with our concept of the universe/world, did we see the world differently 10 years ago? Or 20 years ago?

From Lesson 8 ACIM

My mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.

This idea is, of course, the reason why you see only the past. No one really sees anything. He sees only his thoughts projected outward.

If this is so, it concludes that the universe we see is a projection of our interpretation of reality and not reality itself.

It might not be the result of intelligent design, but I think there is intelligence in its design - the process more-so than the product at any given point.

A human doesn't work nearly as intelligently as the life around us, the Life that drives us, even the intelligence that governs our bodies, is infinitely more intelligent than our minds are capable of. So ... I think maybe our definition of intelligence is what is the issue here. Life, as a concept of an intelligently living ethereal force that has found a way to manipulate and exist inside physical matter, is obviously far more intelligent than any modern human, or even our collective could ever be.

Could you consciously interpret the electromagnetic spectrum range that we refer to as the colour "yellow" and create the interpreted visual result within you mind by using your intelligence? Lol ... no one can - no one has that level of knowledge of how our bodies work, let alone the intelligence required to consciously apply it. Yet our bodies (eyes and brain) do that every second and a trillion other things simultaneously, supposedly without "intelligence" ... pretty funny. Yet we only ever think of our "minds" as having intelligence.

Why is this? Because we have separated our consciousness from the rest of Life through collective over-emphasis on a fear/survival mechanism called the ego - that "consciousness" is, in a sense, severely handicapped, yet it arrogantly thinks that it is the most intelligent thing in the universe and by that standard we feel we are the "authority" to judge what intelligence is. Its a bit humourous really -- the level of human arrogance.

The ego consists entirely of "programs" - repeated patterns of behaviours based on an emotional reaction. That's all it does. When Elon Musk says that humans are 99% limbic (or whatever it was), he was reference this - we just run off of programs. Just repeating patterns of insanity. That's what humanity is. Sure there's glimpses of of the divine, which is just probably inspiration from Life consciousness itself.

A bit of a ramble there ... but this "insanity" that we see in the patterns of the universe, is fully inside and operating the minds of the consciousness that is doing the judging ... just a thought. :)

According to David Bohm, among others, the universe is an emergent function of an implicate order. In other words, the order we see is not of the things we see but of the underlying invisible phenomena beyond our ability to recognize. The implicate gives rise to the explicate. We see and observe only the effects, never the cause. Every cause we do believe exists has a more fundamental cause that we cannot ever hope to uncover, at least not using today's modern tools and understandings.

The insanity seen is the prejudice of our own minds - and its improper use.
