View Full Version : 650,000 People Are Planning to Storm Area 51 to Jailbreak the Aliens Inside

I found this funny, intriguing and entertaining. Not sure if this is real or just something someone concocted to sell merchandise. The organizer put out the following disclaimer:

“Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet. I’m not responsible if people decide to actually storm area 51,” Even if this was intended as a joke the number of people interested is more than astonishing. I am not advocating anyone go but just thought others on PA would find this interesting.

(TMU) — Thousands of alien enthusiasts appear to be planning to storm the infamous Area 51 in Nevada in a desperate attempt to gain entrance into the conspiracy theorists’ Mecca.

A Facebook event named ‘Storm Area 51 (https://www.facebook.com/events/448435052621047/?active_tab=about), They Can’t Stop All of Us’ was started to announce the plan which is scheduled to take place at 3am on September 20, 2019.

“We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens,” the group’s details state.

As of this writing, 316,000 Facebook users have RSVP’d to the event and another 340,000 have confirmed they are interested in attending.

A post pinned to the top of the event page reads,

https://themindunleashed.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/area-51.jpg

At the time of publication, over 15,000 posts have been made in the group; with memes, plans on how to hatch the raid, and even merchandise created for the event populating the page.

https://themindunleashed.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/area-51-meme-768x956.png

Clearly the page is meant to be a joke, but with so many saying they want to attend, the creator of the page made sure to clear himself of responsibility if there are some willing to storm the highly secure military base.

“Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet. I’m not responsible if people decide to actually storm area 51,” the post reads.

The United States Air Force facility, commonly known as Area 51, is a highly classified remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base within the Nevada Test and Training Range. Due to the secrecy that surrounds the base, it has long been speculated that the government researches alien technology at the facility.

What's hilarious is that of course the military (or the Wackenhut guards) have to take this kind of nonsense seriously. That's their job. So the restaurant will probably be staked out with a prominent bunch of Humvees and 6' 6", 250lb dudes in cammo. That alone would be worth a video.

After 70 years of being LIED TO -

There,s NO SURPRISE here.

I don't think that this is quite the reaction that the TTSA team foresaw.

Unfortunately, there are more than enough crazies out there,
with access to more than enough drugs.

Let's hope this ends peacefully.

It sounds funny and probably nothing will happen but I am confident that several events like this which become viral, are well planned injections to the collective consciousness, preparing-manipulating future events.

For example you can check pages like 9gag where millions of teenagers and young people from around the world post their memes. Lately is full of Area 51 memes. For some reason there's also a consistent daily number of pro-vaccination and mocking anti-vaccination memes. No would ever post a meme like that in a shallow youthful page. But it's a clever way to pass subliminal messages.

In 1997 Art Bell received a phone call from someone allegedly in an air plane flying into Area 51. It's quite compelling and dramatic radio, and to this day no one has determined whether this was a real event or a hoax. Either way, this would be good food for thought for those thinking of storming Area 51.

Has to be a hoax, but great theater!

It was a hoax, came out later who the real person was who did it. I forget the exact details.

But yes this is a funny idea. I seriously doubt it would actually happen though. Firstly, there's a lot of distance to cover to get inside A51 from there, and over rough terrain. Most wouldn't make it. For any who somehow did, once the perimeter was in sight, and the counter-measures, possibly even armed personnel came into view, then it becomes real. They'd probably stop, say 'that was fun,' and turn around pretty quick. Even if they DID get in. Would they really expect to see anything? S4 is where they want to go, and that's even further! And it was probably cleared out years ago. If anything was by chance left over, then they've got a good head start to quietly remove what they needed to remove before the geeks rolled in, cameras clicking.

Indeed. Blatant Hoax! The give-away is the difference in the audio between the sound of the plane (full frequency and not distorted) and the sound of his voice (very limited audio bandwidth and highly distorted). If all the audio was going through his cell phone microphone, there would be a consistent audio signature, i.e. all the audio (plane noise, voice and later on siren???!!!) would have the same characteristics as his voice - distorted and no bass or treble.

Actually, the concept reminds me of CNN in Gulf War No 1:

The pro-vaccination meme's do not surprise me. I scan reddit a few times a week to see what people are thinking. I am particularly interested in politics, trends and major shifts in thinking. Not so much what people post but their comments. Some of the subreddits that are generally populated with millennials have moved from anti-vax to extremely pro-vaccination in the last few months. Almost to the point that if anyone comes out with an anti-vaccination comment they are immediately ostracized from the group.

This thread made me laugh.
But I do like the potential for meaningful mass swarms on more interesting targets.
No wonder they watch us like hawks.

One day, hopefully if this gets passed on, the kids will be sent in.. en masse. 650,000 children approaching a heavily guarded area.

What would happen?

anyway.. happy the aliens are safe from being crowd-surfed into the desert and ripped into trophy-pieces by the selfie-hunters. that would be sad.

I am not sure if this thread has been started yet, but here is a homegrown effort to prompt facebook members to "Storm" area 51 to "See them Aliens" on September 20th.. Thus far this page and post, has prompted over 400,000 users (500,000 on some accounts) to sign up to come join and breach the gates to see what is there.

And the Air Force is aware of it, and they're not thinking it is a funny joke, suggesting that it is a live military base, and they're willing to protect it, and the assets held there. Prompting the original poster of the comment to suggest it was a "Joke" and that if it gets out of hand, he does not assume responsibility for the actions of those that DO go.

Overall, I think Kerry has a really good idea, with the possibly problem that if 1% of the million people who joined the Storm Area 51 Group showed up, the Little A'lie'inn restaurant would be about 10,000 seats shy of getting everyone in, and there is no possible way they could cook even a small percentage of the Alien Burgers they would need.

To prevent the liklihood of alien hunters and curiosity seekers becoming cannon fodder I wonder if the software technology exists to create a micro-drone disquised as an insect to infiltrate the facility..or is the security they have in place intense enough to nullify the idea? I am sure others must have thought along those lines..

How would those convinced of alien technology react if it was shown that the site was used for nothing more than the testing of classified aircraft...and that dead aliens and crashed saucers etc. were nothing more than speculative fantasy ingrained in popular culture.

Think how damning and far-reaching that would prove to be..

Actually we could all bring our own accommodations.. Chairs, ice chests.. That is the way the UFO "Gatherings" used to be anyway.. People are all complaining that it has become nothing more than a new way to make a buck, and the costs going up for "Production value", content suffering because everyone is making stuff up as they go along.. Just to have "New Material"..

I think this is a good idea actually.. It would put the topic of ufology back in it's "Roots" , into the hands of the experiencers, the curious, not those with something to sell, where they all sit at some booth after the show peddling their wares and books.. It would refocus the scene to the IMPORTANT stuff, rather than the "Hype" and what sells. I had more fun talking to the people at the UfoMegaCon, than actually listening to the speakers. To be honest with you, it was exactly what I expected it would be.

The few things I did see and hear that captured my attention? Happened at the Avalon gathering actually.. Granted I cut the first 3 days of the UfoMegaCon out of my trip, but I still saw a lot of the event.

Who would want to do something like this? I DOUBT I would be able to gt that time fr. But you never know.. It is close, and it does sound like a whole lot of fun. "AlienStock" hahaha...

I can't imagine that numbers would much matter to the government..they must by now know that at least half the population of the world are chomping on the bit for truthful definitive information.

With all the lobbyists trying to kick the door down, rather than unlock it the government might be inclined to bang in a few more nails..haha!

Interestingly enough, if you go back into my posts, I have asked for exactly that -for years. I said, that, in the end, it is likely the only thing that will bring enough attention to the situation and bring about disclosure.

This reminds me of the poor 100th Street Bridge - anyone reading this from West Michigan has to remember that bit of excitement from last summer.

The 100th Street Bridge was a highway overpass that hadn’t seen any major repairs in decades, so it had a very low clearance and a lot of loose concrete.

Almost daily, a semi hauling a trailer with a higher, modern clearance would smash into the bridge from the highway below, shutting down traffic from Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids.

Eventually, a friend of mine made a Facebook page, setting a date and time where attendees would arrive with bubble wrap and packing tape to bubble wrap the 100th Street Bridge. Just like the Area 51 page, it was clearly a humorous parody, but several thousand folks marked on Facebook they would attend. It was all over the local news and a rather ridiculous poke at Michigan’s terrible infrastructure.

And when the date actually arrived, a few hardy souls really did show up with bubble wrap!

For the probably thousand or so fans that go out to Groom Lake in a few months, I doubt their reception will be as cordial!

:p

Good news, I think the poor bridge ended up getting a facelift after all.

Feds warn UFO enthusiasts against storming Area 51: The military 'stands ready'

They've got a plan to raid Area 51 and "see them, aliens." But what will happen if they actually do it?

Over one million people have signed up to a joke Facebook event and another million have said they are interested, calling on users to meet at Area 51, the US Air Force base in Nevada that's long been a source of alien conspiracy theories, in September.

"If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets," the page says, referencing the Japanese manga-inspired running style with arms outstretched backward and heads forward. "Let's see them, aliens."

A pinned post on the page attempts to cover its bases, reading "Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet." But as the event has gained traction -- inspiring dozens of memes and jokes -- the profile of the situation has risen, so much so that the US Air Force has been made aware of the potential impending raid.

And they're not as lighthearted about the situation as folks on the internet are.
"[Area 51] is an open training range for the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces," a spokeswoman told The Washington Post. "The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets."

CNN has reached out to the Air Force and is waiting to hear back.

Area 51 has been a source of alien conspiracy theories for decades

Area 51 was officially acknowledged as an Air Force base in 2013 but has spurred conspiracy theories as an unidentified flying object and alien holding site for decades. In short, it's thought that Area 51 holds all the government secrets about aliens -- though the CIA has published documents confirming its use as a test base.
But it has since been confirmed that the US government has spent $22 million researching UFOs. Just last month a group of US senators was briefed on UFO encounters the US Navy has had, too.

This reminds me of the story of Dwight D. Eisenhower threatening to send in the Colorado troops to smash into area 51 if his agents were not admitted and given a full tour. Linda Moulton Howe and Richard Dolan at their best IMHO. At this stage in his life there was little to gain from the telling of such a tale. I've queued up the relevant bit, the last ten mins, but you can go back to the beginning if you want the preamble.

My impression was this is true, make your own mind up...x... N

Creator of 'Storm Area 51' comes forward after satirical Facebook page takes off

The creator of a Facebook page calling for a public invasion of Area 51, the top-secret Air Force facility in Nevada, has finally spoken publicly about his joke getting out of hand.

California resident Matty Roberts, who created the Facebook page “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” revealed his identity Wednesday to KLAS-TV of Las Vegas.

“I posted it on like June 27th and it was kind of a joke," Roberts said. "And then it waited for like three days, like 40 people, and then it just completely took off, out of nowhere. It’s pretty wild.”

The page calls for a public invasion of the secret Air Force-run facility near Groom Lake, Nev., on Sept. 20 at 3 a.m. The facility has been the subject of alien conspiracy theories for decades.

As signatories for the page climbed higher, Roberts said he grew worried the FBI would pay him a visit.

“The FBI is going to show up at my house and it got a little spooky from there,” he said.

Roberts had previously communicated with NPR through Facebook Messenger, but under a pseudonym for fear of harassment.

“I just thought it would be a funny idea for the meme page,” he said. “And it just took off like wildfire. It’s entirely satirical though, and most people seem to understand that.”

As of Wednesday, Robert’s page has garnered 1.5 million pledges from around the world to join the effort and another 1.1 million “Interested.”

Meanwhile, publicity of the story has been good for surrounding businesses.

Joerg Arnu, who lives near Area 51 and runs a website that focuses on military secrecy, told KLAS he’s seen a huge spike in traffic.

“I used to get about 500 to 600 hits a day,” he said. “Right now, I’m getting up to 3,000 a day.”

Connie West, owner of Little A’Le’Inn, which sells alien-themed food and novelty items, said her rooms are fully booked through the Sept. 20 target date.

“I’m just a little scared, but bring it,” she said. “We’ll do our best. I don’t believe they should be doing this and breaking the law. Just don’t believe that.”

The momentum has prompted the Air Force, which runs the installation, to respond and caution UFO enthusiasts against invading the area.

[Area 51] is an open training range for the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces. ... The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets," spokeswoman Laura McAndrews told The Washington Post.

Maybe. It's some sort of agreement to give the resident aliens a feast of sorts, imagine a blend of predator and old school, but with nerds getting eaten. Who knows.

I imagine though if there were any alien craft or aliens that with all this time to prepare they could easily have moved them. Over to area 99 perhaps. Wherever, with this much time they could have moved them anywhere. My gut says less than a few thousand will turn up and only a tiny fraction of that, a few hundred, will attempt anything silly.

But what do I know, time will tell, it may all go off, onto full on an alien / nerd / military blood bath / on twitter and YouTube Red...x... N

Don't Storm Area 51, Storm Congress with Mail.
by Cheryl Costa, Independent Journalist

In mid-July, Mark Walker, a Republican Congressional Representative from North Carolina, reportedly sent a letter to the Secretary of the Navy, Richard Spencer. The topic of that letter demanded to know what the Navy is doing to document and analyze the unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) for national security and intelligence purposes.

Congressman Walker is quoted as saying, "As a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Ranking Member for the Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism, these reports are concerning from national airspace and domestic security perspective."

When you think about the responsibility for assessing UFOs & UAPs for security purposes, it is clearly in the wheelhouse for the House Committee on Homeland Security and Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism.

From where I sit, this confirms a couple of things that Stephen Bassett, the executive director of Paradigm Research Group (PRG), has been saying for years. “Where’s the Congressional oversight?” Especially when you consider our modern human culture has been dealing with the phenomena of strange lights in the sky for about 100 years.

In 1968, while trying to get the Air Force out of the Project Blue business, physicist Edward U. Condon told Congress, the Press and the American people that UFO’s posed no threat to national security.

But in March of 1967, a year before the Condon Report was released, Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana experienced the appearance of a large, saucer-shaped craft very close to the ground to the nuclear missile site. It was investigated and documented that numerous nuclear missile warheads were deactivated. On the surface, that does suggest a threat to national security.

Dr. James McDonald who worked on the Condon study, found out after the termination of the Condon study, that the Air Force indeed had some "classified" UFO incident reports that were not made available to the Condon Committee investigators for the study! The Malmstrom Air Force Base incident was part of that "classified" material.

Of course, the Air Force wanted to divest themselves of the responsibility of managing Project Blue Book and having to respond, to inquiries from the public on the subject of UFOs. It seems that congressional oversight was sidestepped again for internal political purposes by the Air Force. In the opinion of this author, whoever made those decisions in the late ’60s Air Force are guilty of dereliction of their sworn duty.

So here we are fifty years later. For five decades a small minority of Americans have been label Kooks, Nuts, Conspiracy Theorists, and of course, delusional people.

Luis Elizondo told me during a February 20th, 2018 interview that he was never able to communicate potential threat intelligence up the chain of command to then-Secretary of Defense Retired General James N. Mattis.

Mr. Elizondo indicated the information flow was stopped somewhere in middle-level management. Again, here we have some career conscious personnel who didn’t or wouldn’t convey critical potential intelligence to their superior, Secretary Mattis. Whoever in DOD middle level management is responsible for that decision is clearly guilty of a dereliction of their sworn duty.

We are citizens of the United States of America, we have elected representatives. Congressman Walker is undoubtedly doing his sworn duty to ask for answers from the NAVY.

What concerns me and many others is that the Navy is going to dismiss the good Congressman with some lame excuse. But think about this.

On one episode of the History Channel’s “Unidentified,” Mr. Elizondo interviewed senior navy Operations Specialist who was on that fleet radar ship. That Operations Specialist witnessed astonishing flight characteristics that frankly had him rattled.

He attempted to file an after-action report per procedure. But all the radar data and flight voice recordings were gone! Also on that program, it was stated, that a Navy helicopter landed on the ship and all of the recording materials were spirited off. Somewhere within the Naval intelligence establishment, there is an off-the-books, Unacknowledged Special Access Unit who knows the truth.

Now that Congress is finally asking for information, the new Secretary of Defense Patrick Michael Shanahan needs to ask his vast support resources within the Department of Defense to come clean and share what congressional security and intelligence committees need-to-know to do their job.

After the airing of the History Channel’s “Unidentified” the press has reported that Senators and Congressman have been requesting Classified Briefings by the Navy regarding the situation. This is a positive step in the right direction.

That said, it’s time for open and honest congressional hearings similar to the PRG sponsored Citizen Hearing on Disclosure (2013). I, for one, am ready to testify to such a hearing committee and share the results of five years’ worth of UFO statistical data research compiled by my spouse Linda Miller Costa and myself.

What can you do? If there was ever a time to write your districts’ congressional representatives, now is the time to step up and politely demand Congressional Hearings.

Don’t send them your rambling personal story of your sighting from years ago, or tell them about your abduction. Do not do that!

Simply tell them in a short, polite letter that you are genuinely concerned for our National and Global Security related to UFOs-UAPs and politely ask them to hold open and honest congressional hearings about the topic of UFOs and UAPs.

According to Richard Dolan at 8:39 in his 6 August Intelligent Disclosure episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udGhlL1SQ2A), he read "this morning" (maybe the previous day? The video was prerecorded) that Facebook had pulled the page, and the backup page as well. Apparently it "violated their community standards" — even though it was a stated joke.
