Even though Comey is guilty, I would be extremely surprised if he actually gets convicted. Many of his provable crimes, such as the FISA warrants, the statutes have run out, and the rest of the case is weak at best. I believe what Trump is doing is twofold: he wants Comey to suffer, and he wants to place him in bankruptcy. I am certain Trump would consider that a decisive victory.
