In 1978, a young Argentinian gaucho, Juan Perez, had an extraordinary encounter with what seemed to be an otherworldly intelligence. It affected him deeply and changed the course of his life. Filmmaker Alan Stivelman created a unique documentary about the experience and found Juan living a solitary life and still troubled by his encounter. The film explores what happened to Juan and his remarkable journey of rediscovering this experience and reconnecting with a deeper part of himself to begin a healing process. Legendary researcher Jacques Vallee studied Juan's case back then and reappears in the documentary to meet with Juan and re-explore the case.
