Ashley and Gabrielle have a common thing - the «green» energy issue for the military bases in USA and out side of USA (Middle East ).

Ashley is linked with the merge of Progress Energy (that merge monday) with
North Carolina-based Duke Energy. The merger was only supposed to happen at the end of 2011.

Southern Energy is also a North Carolina energy company (but »green) and they are expanding...so, draw your conclusions.

«Southern Energy Management is a North Carolina-based sustainable energy company offering energy efficiency, green building and turn-key solar services for homeowners, builders, companies, government and military clients across the Southeast. A certified B Corp, SEM's mission is to have a measurable impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change, and to build a sustainable triple-bottom-line company. SEM was founded in a living room in Raleigh in 2001, and now employs a team of about 60 sustainable energy professionals working from offices in Morrisville, Charlotte and Greenville, S.C. SEM is consistently recognized as an industry leader both locally and nationally, and is among a small handful of companies in the U.S. to earn the National Energy Star Partner of the Year award four times (in 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010). SEM also received the 2009 City of Raleigh Market Transformation Award. For more information, visit http://www.southern-energy.com. »

Something similar happened in 1994 when senior police officers, army and military intelligence officers participating in the Northern Ireland peace process were killed in a helicopter crash. The official verdict was "pilot error", however, the families of the aircrew have fought to have their loved ones exonerated, maintaining that they had exemplary flying careers. Consider also that it is very unusual to have senior personnel sharing a flight in this way, precisely to avoid this kind of catastrophic loss.
