Anything that has been abandoned, basically.

I'm a sucker for this type of stuff. Can't get enough.

I'm hoping we can slowly build this thread into a one stop shop for all kinds of videos and articles and even personal anecdotes regarding abandoned things.

Surely we'll get some retread here n there, but that's cool.

I'll get us started:

Look into "Helltown". Boston, Ohio, was its real name. The US government had the town evacuated virtually overnight in the fall of 1974 under order of Pres. Gerald Ford and carried out by military forces. The official reason for this was to turn the area into a national forrest. Which was done, about 40 years later.

The Island of the Dolls in Mexico is one of the worst places i have ever been, it's crazy how it feels being there

Pripyat is close to that but there is a difference. On Pripyat, you already go knowing what happened there and it leads you into that weird feeling, but the doll's island? You don't even know what's up and get there and get hit by something so crazy heavy and sad that it causes you a lot of trouble in the soul, you need to go there if you want to experience that feeling :S

Chernobyl, the site of the catastrophic nuclear powerplant meltdown in 1986, is a ghost city. Amazingly, with all the humans long gone, wildlife has flourished, apparently largely unharmed.

The hit documentary series that explores some of the world’s most mysterious abandoned structures and buildings, returns for an all- new second series.

This world is littered with such places, some go back before history.
An old abandonment but I thought I would add it :)

There are 50 (!) empty cities in China, some of them quite big.

Then there was this city in Russia which they only built for Olympic games.

You might like to look into Namibia's Skeleton Coast and the abandoned diamond mining towns in its interior.

There's lots of fascinating history.... Diamonds, Germans, Shipwrecks, De Beers, the relatively little known proxy war of South African and Unita (in the north and in Angola)..... and if you catch just the right sort of person in the right sort of setting (usually at the end of a long evening), you can hear all sorts of tall stories and rumours about amazing finds of diamonds on the beaches .

Here's a short clip about the Skeleton Coast (just 1min27):

And Namibia is a spectacularly beautiful place. Here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?106876-Keeping-an-eye-on-Africa&p=1323265&viewfull=1#post1323265) are some amazing pictures that Bill posted.

I’m perusing the Tartaria and mud floods material, and the hows and whys history is erased/reset. Many videos referenced are now set to private or taken down. I’ve downloaded a few in case YouTube removes their channel due to the new rules on low subscriber count.

The first video has examples of strange phenomena. One of which is what looks like a plain old garbage back flying around, but it clearly has intelligence @ 7:48 (https://youtu.be/JPjnhDCi_x4?t=468) minutes. At times it communicates with Galdys Cordova (https://www.youtube.com/user/GCEPERU). In one of her videos, she demonstrates the exchange.

Giants and Shape Shifters (11:21 minutes)

Giants and Shape Shifters - The research of of Gladys Cordova whom regularly films anomalies in her backyard in Peru. These include giants, orbs, strange men, and shape shifters. I encourage you to check out her work: Gladys Cordova Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/GCEPERU).

No helpful summary. It’s a long video, but was worth my time and I downloaded it as well.

Yep. Tartaria is a HUGE rabbit hole. I think it deserves it's own thread actually. As I've stated it clearly before, I don't believe in Flat-Earth theories which many of those researching this topic seem to believe. It takes the attention away from the much more important questions when these researchers are blabbering how Earth is flat. But I do think it's possible that Tartaria actually existed and that it was huge. And that there were some quite advanced civilizations already in America (some other than native Americans) well before Columbus "found" America. Which I think is just a huge lie which they (maybe even those who were already in America) are trying to cover up.

What else do towns that have been abandoned for a sufficient length of time tell us?

Take all human beings out of a complete area and see what happens to that area.

And this has nothing to do with the atmosphere, the environment, climate change or anything else (I am not an Extinction Rebellion nutcase).

What happens? God's plan takes hold, the laws of nature rule, everything functions as it should and there is no evil anywhere.

That alone ought to tell us that evil exists only in the hearts and minds of mankind. If there is such a thing as the devil, that is where you'll find it.

Chernobyl et al are all living proof experiments that prove that the only place where you will find evil is where men and women are, the more of them, the more evil there is.
