Dear Avalonians,

I want to share this TEDx presentation from Peter Westerveld with you all.

Peter Westerveld was born and raised in Tanzania on a sisal farm. Growing up, he learned that the more deforestation that occurred, the more successful one was in agriculture. At the tender age of ten, however, when Westerveld began making forays into the rainforest, he was struck by the sheer number of plants, insects, fish and wildlife, and recognized that there was something wrong if the Africans were all suffering as a result of the Europeans' success in sisa.

He came up with a simple solution to a huge problem: DESERTIFICATION

His solution in layman's terms:: simply digg 1 meter deep trenches in the right way and vegetation will start growing, also the drinkwater problem can be solved. This man proved his theory in multiple locations in Africa. Projects in Kenia and Mali to be more precise.

This guy has Dutch blood and we Dutchies are famous for our canals.
That's why we still grow all these nice tulips...

Apologies for Mr. Westerveld's his English

PLEASE: drive/ship your caterpillars towards Africa !
