There are many incredible pyramids across North America that are often overlooked by mainstream history. There is a deep history associated with these sites, which show incredible design and architecture. One great example is The Pyramid of the Sun, which is the largest building in Teotihuacan. Experts believe that the pyramid was built around 200 CE. The site is stationed along the Avenue of the Dead, which is directly in between the Pyramid of the Moon and the Ciudadela.

The site is surrounded by the nearby mountain of Cerro Gordo, which towers over the region casting a massive shadow. The pyramid itself is merely one component of a larger complex that is in the heart of the city. This site has been a rich source of cultural artifacts, as archaeologists are still continuing to make incredible discoveries that show us just how advanced our North American ancestors were.In 2011, researchers who were studying the site found a small treasure trove of items that they estimated to be almost 2,000 years old. Some of the experts in the field believed that these items might have been placed as offerings, to commemorate the state of construction of the Teotihuacan Pyramid of the Sun.

Jade (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jade_use_in_Mesoamerica) use in Mesoamerica

The use of jade in Mesoamerica for symbolic and ideological (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideology) ritual (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritual) was highly influenced by its rarity and value among pre-Columbian (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-Columbian) Mesoamerican (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesoamerica) cultures (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture), such as the Olmec (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olmec), the Maya (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_civilization), and the various groups in the Valley of Mexico (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valley_of_Mexico). Although jade artifacts have been created and prized by many Mesoamerican peoples, the Motagua River (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motagua_River) valley in Guatemala (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guatemala) was previously thought to be the sole source of jadeite in the region.

This extreme durability makes fine grained or fibrous jadeite and nephrite highly useful for Mesoamerican technology. It was often worked or carved as ornamental stones (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ornamental_stone&action=edit&redlink=1), a medium upon which glyphs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glyph) were inscribed, or shaped into figurines (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figurine), weapons, and other objects. Many jade artifacts crafted by later Mesoamerican civilizations appear cut from simple jade axes, implying that the earliest jadeite trade was based in utilitarian function.

I think who ever carved that mask could carve an exact likeness of someone.
So maybe it's not of an Aztec?
