Perhaps the commonest triangular UFOs photographed have a light at each apex and one in the center:

If you divide the image up into smaller triangles you could think of it as composed of four smaller UFOs:

It would not surprise me if this was a US military craft - triangular, angled shapes are part of "stealth" technology, designed to make them as invisible to radar as possible.
