View Full Version : The War on Independent Thinking

The deep state and all its satellites went to war with Trump since he became president because he represents INDEPENDENT THINKING. Anyone who is an independent thinker is familiar with the piling-on that tribes like to visit on people whose opinions don't conform. His voters felt that he was his own man, and his election was a protest against all the think-alikes running against him. Merely giving independent, unscripted responses to questions about vaccines, immigration, economy, climate, etc. incited a hatred from deep state acolytes unprecedented in US history. Suddenly he was a racist, an unbalanced hater, a loose cannon, and anything else they could project onto him from their own diseased psyches.
Why? Because we've reached a point in history where independent thought can no longer be tolerated. To have a US president demonstrating disregard for "prevailing wisdom" is completely intolerable.
That is why I suspect the economy-wrecking response to Covid-19 was mainly orchestrated to spoil Trump's chances for re-election.The 2016-to-2020 War on Trump is just part of a bigger war, the War on Independent Thinking.
Now we just have to wait see how far they're going to take it.

Hello Tomkat:
I wholeheartedly agree!!! and only to expand on this thread, I would add that the Deep state's economy-wrecking response to Covid-19 serves several agenda;s. I will present my short list in hopes that others will expand (or throw shade) upon:
1. As you stated:
A. Spoil Trump's chances for re-election. (NOTE: Synchronistically, Lets remember that Covid 19 began immediately following Trumps impeachment acquittal)
B. Stop, Corale and Hinder Independent thinking: Through social distancing combined with the Lockdown of states, cities, towns, schools, churches, gyms, casinos, resteraunts, sporting events, movies theaters, etc - pretty much fun any kind outside the home. . (Perhaps the Google Purchase of Project Avalon can be added to this list?.... What do you say Bill ?)
2. Vaccine agenda is receiving an enormous push by Mr. Gates and the MSM.
Where will you stand in response to the proposed Bill Gates plan of not allowing entry into post covid 19 world unless you have acquiesced to the vaccine. (Oh don't worry I am sure it will have been tested to be safe and effective …)
3. Worldwide economic upheaval leading to a planned economic reset.
The economic reset was a given as the Worldwide Fiat currency was irreparably broken. The Covid 19 gives that Global Banking Bastards plausible deniability as to the cause of the geoeconomic breakdown.
4. The lockdown allows for the uninterrupted/unprotested 5 G rollout which is essential to the PTB plans to complete the worldwide smart grid, consisting of the internet of things, smart cities and ultimately all humans hooked up to and tracked by the internet ( Elon Musk and neurolink).
PA members are well aware, there is a plethora of scientific evidence on the harmful effects of the planned 5 G microbandwidth, and there are many others, far more educated than myself, who flatout believe that 5 G is the primary cause of the Covid 19 symptom complex.
OK that is it for now - please add to/or deny this list ….
Blessings Luke

I've entertained that thought but that even seems too extreme. Like killing yourself to spite someone. As important as independent thinking is independent $ pockets. What traits trend in POTUS' post JFK are either profound character flaws and/or greed for $ and a certain amorality (Carter the exception but look what they did to him). Trump has F you money, plus is a loose cannon and thinks highly of his own opinions. This crisis has tempered him though.

Tomkat, I was just thinking about this because I was reading the list of "non-essential" work that is being required to shut down.
In Ontario, they have just released a list of businesses that are allowed to remain open. The businesses that are being shut down are entertainment oriented, and other small businesses.
Reading through it I felt like I am being manipulated to join "the hive" or I will be phased out. Of course it is to reduce the spread of the virus, but I cannot help but feel that if the virus is as dangerous as they are making it out to be there would be more effort to keep more people off of the streets and in their homes.
Will these other businesses be able to return afterwards? I guess it remains to be seen.
The creative arts are being shut down. Museums and libraries. Music and art. Sports and dance.
Why not shut everything down for 2 weeks? After 2 weeks, those who have the virus will know, then they stay home and the world goes back to life.

I have an ''essential business'' (auto body repair), and we are already just hanging by a thread. Have applied for the stimulus to keep going but who knows when that will come. I weep for all the livelihoods and dreams that are being destroyed. Not to mention the physical and mental health decline that results from despair. All the banks and financial institutions who will receive the no questions asked slush fund money had better consider commercial mortgage moratoriums too. God(dess) help us.

Deep character flaws are requirements for power in today's society. That doesn't explain the 4-year war on Trump. The entire establishment went to war with him because he's an independent (albeit often stupid) thinker, with a big mouth. That, they cannot tolerate. And he does appear subdued. Even His Trumpness knows this pandemic panic is not something to be on the wrong side of.

It breaks my heart seeing all the closed restaurants and stores. Many won't be coming back. And many other small businesses will bite the dust. The big companies will be given the money to expand their market share.

I agree with all of the above posts, but I do believe there's more.
Someone has to repair the plumbing and electrical. People will need their cars repaired. They will always need food. Give me a good working man with common sense over a Bill Gates any day. We'll see who survives. Without skilled labor at their behest, the rich are screwed. They need us. The working man pays the mortgage or the rent or the car note or any other thing the rich benefit from. Without us, they're toast. And I do believe some of them, at least the smarter ones, are beginning to realize this. A real estate mogul is nothing if the bankers who loan him money don't have any. There is no way to get leverage. The whole damn thing is collapsing.
As for the musicians, artists and writers; well they will never be gone or silenced. They never have been.

I didn't get past your first sentence before the usual red flags for me tuned on.
What valiant thought(s) have sprung from him ever?
Humanity?
Charity?
"Service to Others"?
Those ideals. Do you Avalonions remember back then? That was going to save us all.
Yet some of you support some dark figure from "The Stand".
Please Wake the F%%K UP.

War on Independent Thinking has been going on probably as long as thinking itself. However, it hits way more close to home.... being it's the PRESENT and all.
Funny though, I'd think the general population would have valued independent thinking more by now after-all, most public school text books claim the species is evolving/ improvement over time.
Something doesn't jive.

The U.S. has been employing a combination of neo-conservatism (the use of war and similar means to ensure peace) and neo-liberalism (forcing weaker countries to practice free market capitalism in order to access their resources and markets) for decades in order to achieve superpower status. The main weapon is the petrodollar (the U.S. struck a deal with OPEC oil-producing countries to price oil in dollars, which in return strengthened the value of the dollar, which in turned allowed the U.S. to fund its military and to provide military aid to the same countries; the same dollar is used through U.S.-backed organizations like the IMF-WB to control weaker countries). The U.S. was aided by various members of the OECD, including Canada, EU members, and Japan.
The problem is that the same countries that had been dependent on the petrodollar had also saved more and became stronger. These include BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and forty emerging markets, many with large, young populations. According to Wall Street banks, at some point several of these countries will take over the global economy while industrialized countries age. More of them have been moving away from the petrodollar and using their own currencies for trade.
Trump very likely understands that reality (plus the point that U.S. debts are very high) which is why he has been engaging in policies which are the opposite of the ideologies mentioned above. That is, he wants economic protectionism by limiting trade with other countries, withdraw the military from other countries (especially given the fact that with protectionism, a very expensive military cannot be maintained), and even close off borders, all of which are, interestingly enough, policies implemented in various socialist countries, and which will limit economic choices for the U.S. public.
The problem is that Wall Street and various U.S. businesses dependent on globalization are being affected by that, and at some point the U.S. public will also experience the effects of such as many goods and services become difficult to access. The country should be able to make up for such through import substitution, but superpower status, ideas of exceptionalism, and even a very expensive middle class lifestyle where 5 pct of the world's economy gets to drive around 25 pct of the world's passenger vehicles and consume up to a fifth of world oil production won't be maintained. Very likely even calls for limited immigration (including legal) won't last as the U.S. population continues to age.
Finally, how does this affect Trump? I'm guessing he thinks he won't because many of his investments are in high-class U.S. real estate, which means as long as the U.S. rich patronize him, then he will do fine. But what if the same U.S. rich is affected as petrodollar influence wanes? Perhaps Trump can make up for that as he engages in real estate deals in countries that become richer, and the rest of the U.S. rich can do similar by transferring their investments to overseas markets.
