CAIRO - The Lebanese government collapsed Wednesday after ministers from the Shiite group Hezbollah and its allies resigned in advance of expected indictments against members of the organization by a U.N.-backed tribunal investigating the killing of the prime minister's father.

Eleven ministers resigned from the 14-month-old unity government, immediately toppling the already crippled administration.

The move is a major blow to Sunni Muslim Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri and his backers, the United States and Saudi Arabia. Hariri was in Washington on Wednesday and met with President Barack Obama. The White House said two leaders were expected to discuss the tribunal, as well as U.S. support for Lebanon's independence and other regional issues

I actually see this as a good thing, Lebanon was not meant to be run by Iran's Supreme Ruler's Minions and is not meant to turn into an Islamic state along with Turkey...

If Iran decides to start a Proxy war they will pay a price which right now they can't afford...

can you imagine what America would do if 3000+ missiles were pointed at our capital from less than 100 miles away?
