Is This is a VERY Large Extraterrestrial Spaceship?

I didn't know how else to title this without sounding overly dramatic or sensational, but this is quite something. All you need do is see for yourself, and decide for yourself what you're seeing. Granted, I'm not a practised observer or analyst of deep space telemetry of this kind, maybe someone here is. If so, your more studied opinion would be much appreciated.

After a little trial and error I arrived at these settings. You want to select Ahead HI2 as the telescope, and then 'slideshow'. When all entered click 'search'.

It's a bit of a coincidence that it comes into the frame at exactly the right tilt in open space to look like a perfect circle to the camera/receiver position.

I don't really understand what I'm seeing. What is that grey shape at the upper right
And if that is the Earth, what is taking this video from such a distance? It's got to be either the Space Station of the Hubble telescope, hasn't it?
I would have thought both of them were in a much lower orbit to the Earth?

I was wondering how these images were generated and where all this data was being collected from. The Wikipedia page on STEREO (Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STEREO), has a good explanation of how these two spacecraft launched in 2006 orbit the sun and collect data.

Thanks for that. Maybe what we're seeing is indeed an 'internal reflection of the planet Venus'. However that does sound rather like a diversionary tactic straight out of Project Bluebook or something. We're quite used to these excuses for space anomalies, especially seen in the space shuttle missions. It was always a chunk of ice, or a jettisoned booster rocket, yet often the feeds cut out when these objects are observed.

It is of course much more likely that the explanation for this is mundane rather than fantastic, but it's an interesting anomaly even so, and it doesn't discount the possibility - actually probability - that objects up there of one kind or another are being tracked and filmed, and they do not want us to to see them. This anomaly may not be one of them, but there are other 'anomalies', which aren't chunks of ice and aren't reflections. Of that I am certain.

Some contemplations here on the Spaceship topic(eyes on the skies);

if observable from radio telescopes it would be a size of fruit fly

would be approaching elliptical trajectory
rather than flying straight through like a comet or an asteroid

if flying through hyperspace it’s hardly observable at all


Our great friend of the SETI project Dr Shostak suggested that if ET is talking to us they have to be smartly parked somewhere in shade of this solar system
as they also seem to re-emerge periodically over 12-14-16- years.

Anyone with large UFO chronicles and ET contact database could have observed reoccurring time patterns to sightings or major contact events oscillating around certain times often preceding important movements of humanity,
here on earth.

As our history spins out in timeless spiral again and again, are we going to get a lift ..?

Ahh yes. I see it completely now. I was wondering "where have I seen that shape before?" -- its the support structure for the receiver of the telescope.

Edit: if one has a reflecting telescope (even a small one), you can look into the barrel and see something similar - the structure that holds the mirror in the center of the telescope to reflect light to the eyepiece. In a radio telescope the radio receiver is supported similarly by the same type of structure.

Guilty of jumping the gun on this one. Usually more careful, more diligent when presenting the curious things I find. And I find a lot of stuff, a lot of dubious vids of this nature, and very few get past the 'filter' so to speak.

Time to clean that filter methinks!

Well a UFO 10 times larger than the earth is a little suspicious. That said, I didn't have any immediate explanation and I'm usually pretty good at figuring these things out, but my gut told me the answer lies in the shape of the "craft". When Agape suggested it was an internal reflection in the telescope, then that totally made sense.

Don't let the false positives dampen your search or spirit! :)

Well my thumbnail is the size of the moon at arm's length, so size wasn't really an alarm bell. And no way, it won't dampen my resolve. Onwards and upwards!
