For me, without a doubt, it's Roswell. If this one truth came to be believed by humanity, dominoes would start to fall & it would change everything, most certainly for the better.

I am intrigued by the multitude of dogman sightings/encounters that have occurred throughout the United States and in other countries such as Australia. I classify this as a conspiracy because the dogmen are known about by the military and branches of the intelligence apparatus.
It is clear that the dogmen know no fear. Some intriguing aspects I shall list below.
1. In some encounters with dogmen the human has actually heard them speak a few words in a low growl, denoting intelligence and the will to learn.
2. They have been spotted many times in places of former human habitation, such as abandoned houses, cellars, caravans and barns.
3. I have come across one encounter where the dogman was wearing clothes, namely a hoodie.
4. Dogmen are supremely strong, muscular and durable. There are a number of cases where the dogmen take a number of bullets from a high caliber rifle and they don't even flinch. Another case reports that it took something like 27 shots to fell a dogman.
5. A number of accounts tell of a telepathic link between the dogman and a human. In one case a man was considering rushing at a dogman with a machete and a strong voice in his head strongly warned him not to, with the understanding that if he did, it would not end well for him.
6. Dogmen are very fast. Many accounts tell of dogmen running after and keeping pace with cars up to around 65 miles per hour.
7. There are accounts of dogmen attempting to build relations with humans. In one case, a person who had recently moved into a home found that the dogman had left him the hock of a deer on his front doorstep, and he openly asked a forum what he should do in that situation.
8. There is a famous account of a pack of dogmen laying siege to a house over a number of nights. On the final night they were digging under the house, taking apart the bricks, trying to get in through the roof, and charging the house to the point where a break was appearing in the wall.
9. There are accounts of dogmen encountering and fighting with each other, and others of them fighting with bigfoot and with grizzlies.
10. There are reports of dogmen being used in secret programs, bred and weaponised.
11. Many people that lock eyes with a dogman simply become frozen with fear, and on many occasions say they were looking into the eyes of evil.
The sheer number of encounters of significantly similar creatures implies that there is a large and growing breeding population within the United States and beyond. Scary stuff indeed!

Roswell and anything to do with (grey) aliens, abductions, contactees, etc., Steven Greer's (and others) or disclosure work. Discerning the chaff from the wheat (e.g. Corey Goode cult).
Currently also (like most of us) certainly the Corona/Lockdown/Vaccination thematic complex although I wish I would not think about this anymore and it would just go away, it starts to hurt a lot. I feel some zombiefication around me because I seem to be the only one 'awake' about this in my surroundings and only find like-minded people on the internet it seems.
Also I used to do read/watch a lot about the drone wars and all matters concerning the military-industrial complex and their wars.
And then I love the mysteries of the ancient civilisations and (so-called) 'alternative history' regarding all the archeological remains we have and cannot really explain.

Oh so many to choose from but I'll go for the great mystery that are the Nazca lines. They captivated me when I visited them in 2004 and I've been fascinated ever since. One of the great mysteries of the planet and they'll probably remain a mystery to us.

Free energy, or better, alternate energy exploiting the zero point field. It would allow mankind to move forward with hope into the future.
It would also unlock the new science, including a real health revolution!

When I first saw the OP my thoughts were it would receive a flood of replies, rightly so. There are many things that mystify and intrigue all of us.
Kudos if you had no hesitation nailing it down to one.
:)
I'll look forward to reading them as they come in.
The Mandela effect.
ESP - telepathy, telekinesis, distance healing etc.
Suppressed technologies.
ET contact.
And as of a couple of weeks ago, the unfolding Greg Hallett story ( which the more I learn about, the more astonished I become).

"the day after roswell" was a fascinating read. The thought of time travelling humans coming back to avert a future event was also intriguing and been spoken about by a few people on the seminar/speaking circuit. The Phil Schneider talks were also intriguing too :)

This was the reported incident at the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption, a fascinating story.
Allegedly, four National Guardsmen helped a group of badly burned Sasquatch by giving medical aid and also stood guard over a tarp-covered pile of the dead. It was also reported that a Army Chinook helicopter was seen leaving the area with three Sasquatch in an underslung cargo net.

I never heard about the Chinook story; I believe what scotslad was referring to was the big forest fire on Battle Mountain, in Nevada, in 1999. See this long and fascinating post (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?91656-Sasquatch-Cover-up-Does-the-Government-know-about-Sasquatch&p=1241528&viewfull=1#post1241528).
Here's how it starts, and there's more. I consider it one of the most important Bigfoot accounts ever reported.
Bigfoot Recovered : injured in Forest Fire
http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.com/2011/07/bigfoot-injured-by-forest-fire-was.html (http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.com/2011/07/bigfoot-injured-by-forest-fire-was.html):
On August 6, 1999, Battle Mountain, Nevada, exploded into several simultaneous range fires in what would be known as the Battle Mountain Complex Fire. A Bigfoot was hurt in the fire according to an anonymous government employee, who alerted the Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO). The story was later dismissed but acclaimed author and science teacher Thom Powell believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up.
In a letter to BFRO dated "7 August 1999, Battle Mountain, Nevada" the anonymous government employee, states:
"I observed an animal wounded by fire moving on all fours not like a bear. More like ape. Fire fighters captured animal, contacted local vet and medical doctor. U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife, Department of Interior, and Bureau of Land Management on the scene.
Animal tranquilized and moved to unknown location. Those at scene told not to talk about what they saw.
Animal approximately 7.5 feet long/tall, human like arms and legs, face not like man or ape but mixed between. Genitalia: male, uncircumcised and human-like. Hair covering most of body except chest, chest has hair but sparse, hands with sparse hair, palms bare, with five digits with human opposition of thumb and 5th digit.
Multiple burns
Speech - attempted to communicate with care-givers once it realized they were attempting to care for it. Multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns, using "rule of nines" approximately 45 per cent of body with burns.
Doctor and Vet working together providing care and moved it to unknown location locally. This notice given in violation of orders given by BLM, DOI and DF&W. Witnesses numbered in the area of 30-25. Word is out in the government agencies, and among the firefighters, since an M.D. was called out. Many thought a firefighter was injured.

Jeez, Overton house, and the bridge really give me the willies.
My dad was born in Overton, as it was one of the few maternity wards in the area at the time (1949), and it was run by nuns.
Interestingly, my dad's name is David Byrne, and shares the same name as David Byrne, the musician, and both were born in the same year ish, who's parents lived a few miles apart, and so very likely both were birthed in Overton house.
Anyway, back to the mysteries surrounding the place.
The bridge is known as 'dog suicide bridge', and all the dogs that jumped off, did it from the same parapet (it's the second last one on the right if you're walking along it from the direction leading away from the house).
A father threw his baby off, to it's death, because, in his words, he was told it was the right thing to do.
A few years ago, a couple who are amongst my best friends, were living a mile up the road from Overton, just by an elevated bit of land, that the locals call the thin place (between worlds), which consists of many craggs, and where many offerings to the hidden ones are scattered all over.
One day, whilst visiting our friends (Angelfire being one of the group), we decided to investigate the bridge, and explore underneath it.
Interestingly, my best friend's partner was the only one of us who thought the whole story was hocus pocus, yet when we got to the bridge, she steadfastly refused to go any further than the gate leading down a verge to beneath the bridge.
Four of us went down, and split off into our own explorations of the stream.
What I experienced was remarkable, freaky, and I won't ever forget it.
I crossed the stream, and went under an archway of the bridge, and found an old battered mattress, and evidence of hobo drinking type activities. I then heard a voice in my head, which said 'stay here, light a fire, and stay the night here'.
The next thing I know, i'm in the stream, on my hands and knees, looking for something, in an almost zombie like state of non awareness, and it wasn't till my friend appeared and asked me what the hell I was up to (without me really being aware that I was scrabbling about in the water, looking for something), and I replied 'i'm searching for dog bones'.
He immediately said, get yourself together, let's all get the hell out of here now.
I wasn't the only one who had a voice suggesting things to them whilst exploring.
Needless to say, none of us will ever visit that bridge again.
I strongly feel that the dog suicide thing, is caused by manevolent beings from another dimension, encouraging the dogs to jump towards the light, or something similar to that.
Truly fascinating, and chilling, in equal measures.

While this is not necessarily an event I believe it is something that we are evolving towards. The power of the human mind is shrouded in mystery.
When we start to unlock its secrets we will be able to:
Communicate without speaking
Heal our physical bodies, eliminating most if not all sickness and illness
Using our minds to move from one location to another
See the full spectrum of colors, seeing colors in sound, music, tone, and voice
Feeling connected to everything around us
Having a memory that will rival if not surpass the fastest computers
Understand the universe and all the souls that live in it
Regulate our emotions
Discover and use more senses such as intuition
Have the wisdom and knowledge to prevent wars before they start, eliminate poverty, racism, corruption
Understand and fulfill our purpose

Bigfoot has a special place in my mystery catalogue.
12 years ago, before I had ever put any serious thought into alternative theories, a coworker came into work very excited. She pulled me aside when she had the chance, and in a hushed whisper told me that morning when she was driving into work she saw a 'giant white planet of the ape' type animal standing in the middle of the road in her rear view mirror. She said it stood there for a moment, walked to the side of the road and then seemed to disappear behind a power pole.
Her state that morning was so out of character, and that 'thing' in someone's voice when they're telling the truth, especially from a fresh event, was so clear that it stuck in my head like glue. It's always stayed with me as a curiosity. Especially when I found out years later the extra dimensional stuff seems to be a relatively common element of experiences.

Thank you for the precis on the Dogmen phenomena. I came across accounts of them about a year ago after researching Sasquatch.
They scare me. They just seem so inherently WRONG on every level. Sasquatch encounters indicate they can be friendly to humans on occasion but there are some accounts where they can be extremely aggressive and hostile and by all accounts are enormously strong, punching horses dead, ripping mature trees out of the ground and breaking a bear's back easily.
I came across 2 accounts of Sasquatch and Dogmen...one was a Sasquatch warning a human person about a Dogman nearby and another was a fight and Sasquatch did not fare well at all.
By all accounts Sasquatch are hyper adapted to their environment, almost silent and invisible at times and quite possibly very psychically inclined with quite a few accounts suggesting they could be hyperdimensional...this suggests to me that there may be several different types some being totally natural and others that may employ skills or technologies we are just not familiar with. There are some accounts of them being seen with Greys...
If Sasquatch has a very hard time with a Dogman we literally have no hope in Hell up against one. We could not have "evolved" or functioned anywhere near their proximity if it takes dozens of rounds of live fire to hurt one....Are they some form of hybrid, a demon of sorts, an alien?
I do not consider Dogmen to be part of the Missing411 work David Paulides researches......
What I have not come across are accounts of female Dogmen...not that I would ever want to encounter one. I do not like guns or hunting...but if I am going into a forest I am bringing a tank with me

The most mysterious thing to me is the possible manipulation of the human genome by ancient aliens. Zechariah Sitchin's theories about the Nephilim absolutely fascinate me, and I have read all of his books over the past 20 years, and share his work with many of my students. Extrapolating from his theories, I am absolutely convinced that some ancient aliens shortened human lifespan to suit their own purposes, and therefore believe one day we will unlock this mystery.
I vaguely recall that Bill Ryan doesn't respect Sitchin's work, due to his opinion that it was partly channeled. I wish I knew more about his knowledge of such. I would agree that I am not comfortable with most channeled material, but if Sitchin's ideas were channeled, then they still might be true, as they resonate with me so deeply. And I do have some ability to know ultimate truth in those realms.

There is a mystery, Acturian108, of the most fundamental nature. I remember clearly my long walks late at night as a teenager, contemplating the big questions and how to go about developing a sound foundation to build a good framework of knowledge on. The first question that had no definitive answer but must be answered is, does mankind have the innate capacity to discern absolute truth? After much deliberation, I decided that we do.
After fifty years on this quest, I am not near so sure anymore.
The story of the Anunaki is tantalizing and almost certainly true, to a degree. The problem is that to crack that nut so many other intentionally hidden knowledge and history would have to be revealed that our society would implode from the repercussions.

Ah yes, well spotted.
I've conflated two reports, being Battle Mountain as you've mentioned, and the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1980. The tarp covered bodies of dead Sasquatch and the three taken in a cargo-net by Chinook helicopter are from the St. Helens report........... It's a bugger getting older, the old memory ain't what it used to be.

The most mysterious thing to me is the possible manipulation of the human genome by ancient aliens.
Well, that may just be the question of foremost mystery and intrigue for me, it definitely does seem to have happened although to what degree and by whom are further mysteries. Enter the Nephilim, Anunnaki and we have a history and a story that fascinates many.
Equal to that for me is the mystery of the Gt.Pyramid and the Sphinx, their actual purpose and to what extent, if any, there was extraterrestrial help in their construction.
There's a ton of information out there on these subjects and everyone has a theory, many of course convinced that they have the definitive answer.

This is quite an interesting bit of current information, as of the 7th June, it’s all very hush-hush and being kept secret (as best can be) in the space-technology sector.
Radio astronomy.
New projects that need funding are all but cancelled for future research. All of the available VLA’s (very large arrays) are being used for a secret US Gov project that has been designed by MIT. This project has dedicated built-in redundancy, hence the requirement of 3 arrays, and provides 2-way communication to the Moon. Radio, TV & Internet.
So why does the US Gov fund a 3 array (built-in redundancy), 2-way tele-communications network, dedicated to comm’s between the Earth and the Moon... Voice, Picture & Internet..., if there aren’t , currently, military personnel stationed on the Moon?
You can hear professor Simon Holland talking about it here, at the 11:00 minute mark.

Mandela effect: I am still dumbfounded how my VHS copy of the Bond Flick, Moonraker has Dolly smiling with no braces..
1. I, and anybody who saw the movie in theaters in the last 70's, remember the scene distinctly: she had large gawdy metal braces when smiling - adorably becoming a kindred spirit to Jaws, thus completing the most unforgettable scene of film. Now the scene has changed to her smiling with no braces - making the scene nonsensical.
2. Have you taken the 450 most common mandela effects challenge?. It is an eye opener. Leading one to ponder how is this happening?
Is it: Cern moving us into elitist's desired timelines, or perhaps Bashar's concept of the constant shift of timelines based on one's strongest desires and motivations, or possibly both?
3. More recently I have been intrigued by the Mudflood/tartaria story from the perspective of: How could a country with horse and buggy technology build the exquisite buildings and sophisticated infrastructure found in the large cities of the U.S. in the late 1800's.
