Times are tough. First, the coronavirus sent us indoors to watch the number of victims skyrocket and the economy crater. Then demands for racial justice in the face of police abuse forced curfews across the nation. Protests continue now. Waiting to be dealt with are the challenges of climate disasters, species extinctions, poverty, refugees and nuclear proliferation. Can we really afford to add aliens to the mix?
The argument is understandable. The world of 2020 seems just too unbalanced and chaotic. To add in the mind-blowing fact that we truly are not alone is more than society can deal with at one time. Disclosure of UFO reality will have to wait to give us time to be prepared. Or so the thinking goes…
It’s a false narrative, and it should be rejected. The actual truth is that the right time to start coming clean about humankind’s place in the universe is right now.
The good news? Disclosure now may not be as counter-intuitive as it seems:...

The article repeatedly sites AATIP and Luis Elizondo as credible sources while ignoring for the most part every authentic source in the Disclosure movement.
So most likely part of the same bogus agenda, to further obfuscate the truth...

An excellent call, and thanks for bringing this to our attention; no essay or account of UFO's and extra terrestrial visitation is going to satisfy everone, this topic is completely rife with
personal, as well as macro politics. It seems many have a personal stake in being noticed and acclaimed for their unique understanding, and each attempt to define and account for this subject
generates a considerable backlash, and critique from the community.
What I like about this essay, which is clearly and honestly written, is the absence of self promotion, and its avoidance of an absolute claim to be covering everything.
We have to remember that there are millions of people who have not been immersed in the 'UFO community' and have little interest in the posturing, and ego games so many seem to indulge in.
For this reason, the essay is valuable, and of benefit, it clarifies the fundamental story that we have been visited for a long, long time - and the authorities have owned up to knowing this, even if they haven't
declared the fact in 'Hollywood terminology'.
We are definitely immersed in a more enlightened cultural atmosphere regarding the topic of UFO/UAP activity, it is in the open and being spoken about seriously among the 'Normies' (not my language choice)
Yes, the piece doesn't delve into the key researcher community, and only superficially refers to the Pentagon/Elizondo materials; it does however describe the long history of research so is not ignoring this.
Anything which normalises, and promotes this topic is useful.
