Although there are many definitions of God what really counts is your conscience. Your conscience was put there to put you on the upward path, toward a happy and useful afterlife. I was very surprised to read this book by Dr. Carl Wickland, who was psychic and his wife was a medium. They made an agreement with spirits that aid in recovering Earth bound wandering spirits. Dr. Wickland would help the spirits that came to possess his wife looking for help. Wickland, despite being a minister, rejected the bible version of spirituality because the spirits told a different story. It is amazing to hear these spirits in very bad shape from a lifetime of drugs and crime realize that they were actually dead and could get help from spirits on the "other side". This all took place back in the early 1900's. For any who would like to read it, here is the book for free:

That is a fascinating read, good find. It's important education for people on what can happen after body death and a lack of awareness of this reality can result in earthbound spirits who dont even know they're dead a lot of the time and their wherewithal is just not there. It dovetails perfectly with info from the database on www.getwisdom.com

I liked that book, what was interesting was how Dr. Wickland was able to transfer the spirits into possessing her wife through his spirit helpers, very different from what you usually see with hypnosis or psychic reading.

The lectures he gave em, "you are an ignorant spirit...", like he was a grade school teacher hahaha

His main flaw was that he would get the spirits go into the light that wipes your memory and shows you corny sunday school tapes, but that's a tenet of spiritism and hardly unique to him
