View Full Version : Do you see a small pixie or something similar in this video. Or is it faked ?

Erwin says he sees pixies in his woods regularly, he said he managed to capture one on camera in 2017.
Have a look at the 5 min to 7 min mark, specially the 6.20 min mark, then tell me what you think :flower:

Auch haway man Billy!
Can you trust your eyes these days, especially video?
Looks like CGI to me....... But then if I look out of my window, it looks like CGI, as CGI can be so good. It's the colouring of the wee fella that disnae look quite right.
I'd like it to be genuine........ Whether this is or not though, that's the question..........

It's seen 6:12 looks like a small alien with owl-like head, I would say 95% likely CGI, but one never knows these days ...

I've watched it several times, and I can't see anything near as clear in the actual video, as there is in the thumbnail.
I just read you don't have to choose from the samples YouTube offers, and that you can upload your own. That must be what he's done here because that shot doesn't happen in the video. I was already skeptical, but now I'm even more so if he's producing his own thumbnails with stunning depictions, that don't even happen in the video.

It does Gracy May.
If you expand the video and do the screen-enlarge thing with your fingers on the screen, you'll see all the action taking place in the spot he aims the camera at.

Here's another of his -- 4:00 - 5:00 -- same creatures - more clear shots in this one ...
WgZkMkICrWk
The creatures never interact with the foliage - something that would add a new level of complexity with CGI, and a reason it might be not seen in these videos. They (the creatures) are also always positioned just over an edge - which conveniently puts them in a position where you don't have to have them interacting with foliage or anything in the scene, again making the CGI easier to deal with.
It also seems as though the video compression (in the op video) around the creature seemed slightly different than the rest of the footage ... that may indicate rendering the CGI entirely on a separate layer (basically rendered as separate footage altogether), then compressing that video to attempt to match the video in the original footage (to keep the CGI from being too obvious), then applying it as an overlay, on the original.
That's the strategy I would use, but I would apply a very slight compression again to the final video to remove any evidence. For all that compression though one would need high res original video to work with.
So I think I'm going with CGI (but I'd love to be wrong) - its of the level that I could roughly replicate.
I do like the guy though! His channel is kinda fun. Young people would probably like it ... maybe it was a project he did for his grandkids or something.

If you slow the playback (I also used a magnifying glass) on the second creature from around the 4:25 mark you will see it has long hair that falls to be visible when the creature turns to face the camera. The long hair falls quite naturally and there is a branch behind the strands and between them which is as it should be. The head turns several times and each time, the hair movement, width, lighting and background is consistent. Admittedly the hair strands are very even which is all I could find that is suspect. If it was CGI, this is a very likely set of frames where flaws would show-up. If it's CGI, it's really well done.
It's also a bit odd that at no point does the second creature turn to the first one.

That's kind of my hunch. Reminds me of, although in a much more sophisticated way, finally busting my grandfather as the one who was burying those lil fake gold coins my new treasure finder was actually finding, on a beach vacation to Florida as a lil girl.
Bless his heart that was so very sweet, to seed the young child's imagination of washed ashore pirate or Spanish treasure, only for her to happen to glance behind his back on one of the "hey let's go look over here", and catch him red handed burying one.

Yep, I think you're onto something there.
Looking further into the reception of the videos in the wider community it seems to be readily accepted that they are the product of CGI however they are really well appreciated especially by parents and children.

for me, the jury's out, but there is apparently a well documented case of a woman staying/renting a cottage in Ireland for a holiday and was apparently joined by Faeries, lepricorns and pixies. Anyone got any more info on that one?

Whe i was a kid, i used to spend my vacation time with my grand parents, in the mountains, there were tons and tons of places like the ones on that video, not quite the same but you get what i mean
I used to see weird stuff there all the time, sometimes, i would see weird flying 'rods' suddenly above me, and then flying violently towards me only to not be there when i tried to push them away with my hands
Then one day i was asleep and i felt something was going on, slowly opened my eyes and there it was, like a flying winged rod on top of me, around 40 cm above my chest, i kept looking at it and it was just there, floating mid air, little wings like on a hummingbird but way faster, and center of it was just a rod, no face or legs. Then i made a quick move trying to catch it and it made an incredible move toward my head and it scared me and i tried to move away and it was gone. This all happened inside a closed room, so i don't know where it went after it dived into me at a crazy speed
I used to think a few years ago, that this may have happened because maybe we were intoxicated of some fungus or something like that, that causes hallucinations while in the mountains. Because i read this could happen to people that go into old sites and with their feet disturb the dirt on the floor and then they breath it and it is full of fungus that causes to hallucinate things.
I'm not sure anymore, it's been some 14 years and i still remember other stuff happen later on and until now, and i don't see my step brother anymore and much less in the past 10 years but last time i saw him i asked directly if he remembered something weird happening on the mountains when we were kids, he simply said "yes, the flying worms right? I thought you did not notice", and he's like "they were all over the place even at night in our rooms"
So i don't know, i have real doubts now because i've seen things i thought were imaginary before, but how could he know the exact same thing? I did not say much after that, i'm just thinking right now
This may be fake, but not all could be fake, i'm just wondering

For me, it's the same situation: the jury is cogitating :) The imagery is far from conclusive and I may remain skeptical, for now. However the reality of this phenomenon is not in doubt.
I've just had a quick peak in my copy of Colin Wilson's Afterlife to see if I can see this case referenced there but nothing's leaping out right now. But, yes, this Ireland story sounds very familiar. And as is nearly always the case with these kinds of situations the more preposterous they may seem tends to lend more credence to their reality, although that's a mutable rule of thumb.

Sightings of fairies, elves, etc. happen all the time at Findhorn.
I am not gifted with that kind of sight myself as far as I know, but I have known 3 people whose integrity I can vouch for who say they had sightings.
Two were a couple, Bruce and Jeannie, who were hiking through the Black Forest.
They were arguing, so Bruce, who had longer legs, was impatient, and walked faster than Jeannie (which was what the fight was about) had gone ahead and said he would wait for Jeannie to catch up.
He was quite a distance ahead when he glimpsed a little bearded man maybe a foot high, but perfectly proportioned, standing on a log, fully clothed, and observing him.
Bruce did a double take, but the little man had vanished so quickly that he thought he must have been hallucinating.
He went on ahead but stopped after awhile to let his partner catch up.
When she caught up, he asked her if she had seen anything unusual, and she described the same little man in detail.
The third friend, Angelique, had a friend who owned a fairly large piece of private wooded land.
She invited a circle of friends to come to her place on the evening of the Summer Solstice.
Her friends were all spiritually oriented, psychic, meditators.
She had told them about her experience exactly one year before in early evening on that Solstice, when she had been walking in the woods on her land and had come upon a fairy ring.
She sat nearby to meditate and presently she saw a line of what appeared to be lightning bugs emerging from a copse that flew around the fairy ring in a perfect circle and then returned to the copse.
She made a connection with one of the beings she felt around her and was told that the devas wanted more humans to be aware of their presence, and that if she brought friends to the same location on the following Solstice, they would appear once again.
She did, and they did! My friend, Angelique, was there and saw them too.

Hi Scotslad and Tintin, there is a very well documented case of a woman staying at rented cottage in Ireland.
She stayed at a cottage in the west of Ireland for about 3 months. Ireland is still a mystical country to this day that hasn't lost
its connection with nature. But you have to explore this aspect for yourself and you will find it.
From an Irish context I have read her two books that provide an insightful depth into the ‘Little People’.
Elementals are real and I believe that they assist the planet in very beneficial ways. These beings exist on a different realm and dimension than humans, which is why most of us can't see them so readily. The author below is fortunate to have the ability to see and perceive these beings and tells a wonderful and fascinating story of her encounters with them. She also offers ways for others to make a connection and work with elementals as well as guidelines for manifesting.
‘Summer With the Leprechauns: A True Story’ by Tanis Helliwell.
An astonishing true story about one woman’s journey to Ireland where she lived in a cottage with leprechauns. These seldom-seen beings taught her about the evolution of elementals—the race to which leprechauns, faeries, elves, trolls belong. They explained the importance of humans and elementals working together for the betterment of both of their races and the Earth.
The leading male leprechaun’s urgent message for humanity: "Humans are harming our own environment and theirs." With charming style and humour, Ms. Helliwell recounts the instructions from the Leprechaun on how humans can interact with elemental beings, as well as revealing the fascinating relationship she developed with this delightful fellow.
‘Pilgrimage with the Leprechauns: A true story of a mystical tour of Ireland’. by Tanis Helliwell's
A true story of a mystical tour of Ireland is a romp to the sacred sites of Ireland accompanied by a leprechaun who is helping her and her thirty fellow pilgrims face their blind spots. They have a topsy-turvy encounter with the mischievous, wise humour that the Irish call "The Craic." "The Craic” cannot be pinned down and, when you try to do so, it joggles you out of your comfort zone and laughs at you. It is both the great cosmic joke and cosmic joker. The Craic is magic. The Craic comes, whenever it wants, and does, whatever it can, to move us into deeper knowing and truth. The only approach a sane person can take towards the Craic is to surrender to it, as any resistance is futile.

I’ve posted elsewhere about my experience(s) when I was young in a place on the property we called, “FairyLand”. As I got older it was easy to rationalize it away. My nephew helped rekindle what I knew to be real.
Several years back, the kids and adults went for an early evening walk. I caught my nephew who was six or seven give a wave towards a row of forsythia bushes. His face said it all. He checked to see if anyone saw what he saw. I leaned over and whispered, “You see them, too?” He shook his head and grinned.

Beautiful Paula,
If the purposes of the videos in the thread are none other than kindling of the imaginations of children and introducing them to the possibilities of the worlds of the unseen, then they have great merit.

Most of us here in Avalon beleive in ETs...how many of you that beleive in them have seen one?
Most of us believe in other dimensions and how close ours can be be to another at times.
Look at the wonderful animals that we share this earth with...think about how you have related to them in your lifetime.
Is it then so hard to beleive in a small being like a fairy?
I saw them often when I was young and spent so much time outdoors away from the noisy suburban neighborhood and later in the foothills and mountains.
A good friend talks about his meditations constantly being interrupted by fairies during his time around Mt.Shasta. They just wanted to play and disrupt his aggressions long enough for him to enjoy his life and to engage the magic that he, amongst but a few, could sense, see and hear.

Thank you guys for making this such an interesting thread :cantina:
I also quite liked Erwin in the OP video, he is a bit of an odd ball and in one video I watched he claimed to pull out a little wooden perfectly made arrow from his neck, which he said was shot at him by a pixie, he also claimed it must have been dipped in some hallucinogenic substance as he felt strange then sat down and cut his beard and hair by a tree. He was definitely away with the fairies at this point.
But like most of you have said, he is harmless and if it makes others think differently, then all the best to him.
I also have a story to share. When I first moved to the West Highlands of Scotland in the early 80s with my family. The little village where I stayed was inhabited by an older generation who were mostly staunch Catholics, all the younger generation had left to be in the city.
One old man named Angus asked me if I would do some joiner work for him in his house. He was in his 80s and passed away many years ago now.
While working in his house, he was chatting away getting to know this new comer into the village.
He asked me if I liked fishing. I replied yes and I usually head up to the hill loch above my house to fish for trout. He replied, when you are up there again, keep your eyes peeled as there was little fairies that come to that Loch, he said he had seen them many times as a youngster long before the road was built when access to the village was by boat only.
I laughed and said, Oh yea, you are pulling my leg here, he put on a serious face and with a stern look said, I don't tell lies Billy, I am serious, I saw them, I swear on my mother's grave, then I realized he was indeed being very serious. I then stopped laughing.
He said he would head up to that Loch and sit a little distance from the Loch shore, then they would appear out of no where and playfully dance around not far away from him. He said they could dance on the water, they knew he was watching them. They never interacted with him apart from allowing him to see them. This happened many times for years until the road was built in the late 60s. Then he never saw them again.
Every time I head up to that Loch, I sit and watch and speak to them, but I have never had the honour of seeing them :bearhug:

Angels, Fairies and the Unseen Forces with John Van Auken (1:48:00)
Join author and teacher John Van Auken as he presents a fascinating visual presentation of these beings that live just beyond our physical world: Angels, Fairies, and the "Unseen Forces" of life. He gives special attention to insights found in sacred text, Edgar Cayce’s amazing discourses, and his own personal experience with these ethereal helpers from beyond the veil! A great storyteller, Van Auken’s visual presentations add much to our understanding. He will also teach us how to use our "second sight" to see these mysterious beings in our own lives!

Whether this is real or fake does not shake my belief in the wee folk. I perhaps would not have such an interest in the ‘wee folk’ if it were not for an experience I had while camping with 4 friends in the woods of Balerno just outside Edinburgh.
We were about 12 years old and were determined to go on a camping expedition to these woods and my friends eventually persuaded their parents to let them. Everything was going great, we pitched camp alongside a river within the forest. It was idyllic and really felt like an adventure, we’d built a little fire and cooked over it and then went into one of our tents chatting and telling stories. One of our group had left to go to the toilet and he called back to us, tremoring in his voice, “there’s a little man watching us”. We looked at each other with disbelief and then left the tent to see what he was talking about.
Sure, enough across the small river, sat on a rock was a little man in a hooded cloak holding a gnarled stick in both hands between his legs. He wasn’t like a dwarf but like a miniature human reminding me somewhat of Yoda from Star Wars but less alien. He had an ancient air about him and what he lacked in stature he made up for in presence, we were terrified.
We had planned to split up and sleep in the two tents, but we were so scared we all decided to sleep in the bigger tent where we had been chatting. Of course, we couldn’t sleep and scared each other further by speculating what he could be. We did mention fairies and elves but Charlie the one who first saw him got an idea in his head that he was ‘Old Nick’. I don’t think he was being very mythologically accurate, but he told us of a demon who takes away children and we were petrified. We did venture out a few more times and he was still there calmly looking over us, saying nothing.
Looking back, I don’t think he was the evil figure that our fear of the unknown constructed from his presence. He actually seemed very peaceful and wise and I wish that I had crossed the river and got closer to him and attempted closer communication. We had tried to talk to him from across the river, but he never replied. Who knows though perhaps if I had done that, I would have been whisked away to some underground fairy kingdom never to be seen again? We eventually fell asleep and the next day we saw footprints formed by tiny boots that went from the location up into the valley. Unsurprisingly we ended up cutting our camping adventure short and spent months after searching libraries for mythological creatures.
