Globalresearch is more academic, reading its articles is like reading a research paper. They have the best alternative academics in the internet and often view from a historical prospective. VT reveals a lot of truth. It may be wrong but it is up to the reader to decide its authenticity. The conspiracy of Beirut bombing is almost exclusively found in VT, so stands out to be a very good source.

Actually, I think of the editor of Veterans Today, Gordon Duff, as a neo-liberal. He was proclaiming the virtues of Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama in fighting the conspiracy of the Bushes. It's kind of the same story that is being told on the Q-anon thread here, except it's Trump, and not Obama, who is the great battler of the cabal.

But I haven't been reading it for years so things could have changed.

After I posted that I checked out globalresearch again and it seems like the high quality of the articles has been restored to what I initially remember way back in the day. It did go through a phase where I stopped using it as resource, because many of the articles just came across as pure opinion and speculation, with no sources cited etc. Good to see it appears to be back on track to what it was intended to be.

I long ago learned the hard way not to trust them. Deeply embedded with multiple intelligence agencies and personnel, including Chairman Gordon Duff, who cites his background as a spook when he says "about 30% of what's written in Veterans Today is patently false, because if I didn't write false information I wouldn't be alive". It can be informative for the leery, even funny. In their defense and in keeping with the site's origins, they do what they can to help veterans.

After just posting in the defense of Mike Adams of Natural News, I do agree on what is being said about Gordon Duff and remember the 2015 outing and exposure of down right lies from Gordon Duff well. He even said 30% or so of what he says is disinfo because it keeps him alive he says, implying that he would be killed otherwise.

However, I do like Mike Harris though and he is the only reason I look at Veterans Today from time to time.

I think a good influential alternative website is always the target of the cabals. There must be threats on the hosts and then infiltrations of trolls. Thats when the quality deteriates. It is certainly very hard to come back because the good contributors will leave one by one for whatever reasons.
