I'm starting this as a new thread because I think it is so important that as many people as possible see the invitation to join the demonstration in Berlin this Saturday. It will be a festival for freedom and peace, just as the demonstration on 1st August 2020 in Berlin was. We are demonstrating against the continuing measures around the world related to Covid19 as the goverment's data does not support that these measures are necessary.

The official data shows no real increase in illnesses or deaths in Germany. What has happened in Germany is a massive increase in testing from 124,716 tests in calender week 10 to 875,524 tests in calender week 33. The weekly positive test rate is under 1% since weeks and the false positive rate is estimated at 0.9%, meaning there are virtually no new actual positive cases.
People are coming from all over Europe and the world to demonstrate peacefully together. Please come if you can!!! The 1st August was already an historic demonstration which the government and media have tried to belittle. This one will be much, much bigger. Come and be part of it, for everyone's our freedom and the freedom of future generations!

The organisers will maybe today file a suit or claim an action legally (or however you put it in English correctly...). I am following this via NUOVISO, one of the best German alternative media channels. They are participating themselves and always up-do-date.

The highest court in Germany has declared the action of the police (i.e. dissolving the deminstration) unconstitutional!
So now there are peole in front of the Russian embassy (address: Unter den Linden), shouting: Resistance.

The arrests are for real, but as the highest court of Germany has now called the dissolving of the demonstration unconstitutional, all those arrested will probably be set free again soon.
In my opinion, those arrests were made in order to frighten people into submission , or even worse: to provoke people into a violent reaction which would give the police an official reason to bring out their water cannons etc

Hundreds of thousands of freedom loving people were witnessing a surprise appearence of Robert F. Kennedy Jr today in the heart of Berlin. It has been decades since a Kennedy spoke the last time in this city in front of such a large crowd. That was really a dramatic and extremely emotional moment for everyone attending.

This is just the streets you can see, the green area of the park (Tiergarten) was full too. Everywhere you walked there were people.

It was a fantastic festival for peace and freedom.

Robert Kennedy's speech was historic.

Unfortunately this was marred in the night of 29.08.20 and on 30.08.20 by the extreme violence from the police against peaceful demonstrators. There were many cases but most horrifying was when a pregnant woman was pinned to the floor by police and another woman was brutally punched in the neck as she lay pinned on the floor by police. There was a rumour she died but this proved to be false (I am editing the post to correct this).

He’ll also be able to follow you on all of your smart devices, through biometric facial recognition, through your GPS. You think that Alexa is working for you? She isn’t working for you. She’s working for Bill Gates spying on you.

And the pandemic is a crisis of convenience for the elites who are dictating these policies. It gives them the ability to obliterate the middle class, to destroy the institutions of democracy, to shift all of our wealth from all of us to a handful of billionaires to make themselves rich by impoverishing the rest of us. And the only thing between them and our children is this crowd that has come to Berlin! We’re telling them today you are not going to take away our freedom, you are not going to poison our children, we are going to demand our democracy back.

HI Chris, I just found the following interesting article which is written from " Critical Police Officers" who were present in Berlin on Saturday. They make many good criticisms of the police and the Berlin Senate in the article including suggsting that the storming of the Reichstag almost certainly included so called V Leute (police confidants). On their website (https://www.kritische-polizisten.de/2020/08/verbot-des-demonstrationsverbots/) regarding the numbers, they write translated in to english:

"......Most striking, however, was how - once again - for political reasons the number of participants of the demonstrators, who were completely wrongly labeled as Corona opponents, was far - very, very far - too low.

Otherwise, it is common practice - on New Year's Eve and other events - the estimated number of participants at events in Berlin when the Brandenburg Gate with the six-lane street from “Straße des 17. Juni” to the Victory Column is filled with people, of around one Million participants. Why was and is this different here?

Straße des 17. Juni also has a middle lane and two continuous parking lanes for vehicles. The scientific detail regarding the test is put forth in a logical way that is understandable and does not seem flawed in any way to my limit ability to understand -- every objection is covered in the greatest detail and this is fully up to date
It almost deserves a thread of its own.

The testing has been weaponised --used to keep people in fear.
Its unnecessary.
If a person feels ill they will of their own free will stay home--if they are really ill they will end up in hospital, some will die some will fully recover--some will have lasting after affect --that happens with Flu as well.

Protesters opposed to Covid-19 restrictions have gathered in Edinburgh as figures showed the highest weekly rise in cases since May.

Coronavirus sceptics, vaccine conspiracy theorists and those opposed to mandatory mask-wearing staged a rally at Holyrood.

It comes as figures showed almost a thousand people tested positive for the virus this week in Scotland.

In the past seven days there were 994 confirmed cases.

The figure is almost double the 507 new cases in the week previous.

Scotland's national clinical director, Prof Jason Leitch described the protesters as "deeply irresponsible".

'Scientific evidence'

Hundreds of protesters marched to the parliament building in Edinburgh with flags and placards for the Scotland Against Lockdown protest, organised by the Saving Scotland Facebook group.

A post advertising the event said it was "time to stand up together, and listen to real scientific evidence in regards to the health of the Scottish people."

The group said lockdown was causing "more harm than the virus" and that Scots should say "no to mandatory vaccines and masks. No to secondary lockdowns."

Police Scotland said it had been aware of the demonstration and that officers had provided a "proportionate response" and no arrests had been made.

In the past 24 hours, the number of cases in Scotland rose by 141. There were no new deaths.

The figures showed the biggest rise was in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area where 68 new cases were confirmed.

The last time weekly cases exceeded the current total was 17 May, although there have been changes to the Scottish government's reporting of figures since then, including incorporating the results of home testing kits from July.

The number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 overall in Scotland now stands at 21,189 and the number of infected patients who have died remains at 2,496.
Local breakdown

According to the government's latest figures, NHS Lanarkshire saw another 20 cases - an increase on the 16 announced on Friday when it warned the region was close to having to reintroduce restrictions, similar to those imposed on other parts of western Scotland.

NHS Grampian, where the Aberdeen bar cluster was identified last month, has recorded an increase of just two new cases.

A total of seven cases have been discovered in Ayrshire and Arran, 14 in the Forth Valley, six in the Highlands, eight in Tayside and 14 by NHS Lothian.

A single new case was identified by both NHS Borders and NHS Dumfries and Galloway.

The number of tests carried out fell to 15,618 - the lowest total since 24 August.

The number of new confirmed cases represents 1.5% of newly tested individuals, say the figures.

As of Friday night, two people were in intensive care with coronavirus and a further 251 infected people were in hospital, although that figure includes patients who may not be receiving treatment for the disease.

Hundreds have occupied the streets of central Tel Aviv overnight to vent anger at a stringent second lockdown that will dramatically restrict people’s mobility, shut down most businesses and enforce social distancing rules.

“The shutdown is in order to turn us into submissive, suppressed sheep,” a protester named Dikla told RT’s Ruptly video agency. The quarantine measures are “to try to break us down,” she exclaimed.

Others who joined the protest said the Israelis had “really had enough.” People are waking up to a situation in which everyone is “just going to be begging for some kind of vaccine,” said another protester. “But we're aware of that right now, and we're not going to be taking any vaccine,” she added.

Israel has reported over 175,200 cases and more than 1,160 deaths, with officials concerned that the mortality rate could surge as new infections have risen recently above 5,000 per day.

That aside, authorities fear that the coronavirus could spread on the heels of the Jewish High Holy Day period during which families and friends normally gather indoors. The new set of rules mandates that “going to prayers, even during the holidays, is subject to the 500-meter rule.”

"Yesterday's Freedom Rally in London was absolutely amazing, the unity and love within the crowd was a very powerful, unstoppable force for change. The crowd was Peaceful, Brave and persistent. Once we had achieved what we set out to. We dispersed ourselves. The police achieved absolutely nothing except looking, incompetent and brutal. Now the media media said 15,000 🤣🤣 Piers Corbyn said it was closer 100k. To The Group I was with it look to us like about 60/70k. Humanity is waking up and the numbers attending these rally's just keeps Growing and Growing ( this is happening at local level also)
Sooner or later our numbers will out number the police, as there is only 120k serving police officers. The military is another 87k. At current rates of increasing crowd sizes. They will soon be out numbered. All the thousands of videos showing the police brutality attacking peaceful protesters, just motivates more and more people.
