I do think this deserves its own thread. Chris Martenson has been exceptional in calling out most of the Covid issues (and potential solutions) way before anyone else on the net — and is also a super-skilled, highly user-friendly presenter of sometimes very complex information. He's like the exceptional teacher that most of us never quite had.

He'll continue to post regular videos, but not specifically about Covid unless there are special developments. He considers, I think rightly, that most or all the work has already been done. It's all out there now.

Whether the authorities pay any attention, is quite a different question.

Martenson is scathing about those authorities. He stops short of accusing them directly of deliberately wanting the thing to spread (and not be 'cured' except via a vaccine), and I suspect those are his thoughts that he shares with his PeakProsperity.com (http://PeakProsperity.com) paid subscribers.

His concerns now are about the major lifestyle changes that will soon be upon us all — certainly economically, but in other ways too.

He urges viewers to consider strategic relocation and self-sufficiency, and he coaches a concept he calls resilience. In short: the mutually supportive set of skills, resources and attitudes we all ideally need to withstand just about anything at all, including what's coming.

I'd urge readers here to watch the video, and see where he goes, and what he concludes. As with all his work, it's solid gold. (Along the way, in the first half of the video he summarizes very concisely the main points he's presented on the journey this year.)

The title on the video thumbnail is self-evident. :)

I’m sorry but this man does not, as they say, resonate with me.

I’m sorry but this man does not, as they say, resonate with me. That's scary... because real science doesn't need to "resonate", it just needs to arrange empirical observations into either logical conclusions or entire dismissal of hypotheses.

On the other hand, if it's the "man"'s approach that doesn't resonate, then, there, is all the difference between scientifically trained individuals and... let's say... poets :)

That's fair. My husband finds his voice irritating, so he doesn't watch him that much. But he does occasionally, because "[Chris] does a good job of presenting the facts." Hubby was the first of the two of us to watch Chris's presentation about kids and schools.

I look for parts of the message that resonate in degrees of truth or false, not necessarily the speaker.

But hey, if the speaker is annoying to me, even if I agree with him, I'll look elsewhere for information too. Sometimes it nothing against the speaker, we're just at different levels.

Edited to add:
Dutchsinse is an example of someone who doesn't resonate with me. I find him a drama queen and annoying. Nontheless, his earthquake predictions are pretty accurate, and I haven't found anyone that does as good a job at that as well as connecting some geological dots like he does. So I listen to him anyway (and skip and fast forward to the important parts.)

Yes. He uses science to show that HCQ works (and Ivermectin maybe even better), and that Vitamin D is a critical factor (both for treatment and prevention).

He uses math to show that the US is in deep economic trouble (and that the Federal Reserve is the villain), and he states his strong opinion (backed up by very interesting gene sequencing analysis in earlier videos) that the virus was manufactured in a lab.

He's fiercely critical of the CDC and the WHO, and of all authorities that have been falsifying or suppressing good data and statistics. He's said many times that it's time now for the US to get fully back to work, and has laid out in detail how that can be done.

He also recommends what people should take as supplements to help strengthen their own immune systems. (Including Quercetin, which works to escort zinc into the cells and can be bought cheaply on Amazon and elsewhere.) He's scathingly critical of big pharma.

His YouTube channel has been demonetized, and subscribers are auto-unsubscribed (by YouTube) all the time. He doesn't care about the demonetization, and is just focused on doing the right thing.

He shows where he was right way earlier in the year (and way ahead of most anyone else), and also discusses where he was wrong. He's a truthteller, with no ego attached, and we need as many of those as possible.

He's relocated to a rural property, he has cows, chickens and a big garden, and he's been encouraging others to do whatever they can that might be similar. (Even if their resources are modest, most people can learn how to grow some simple things for themselves.)

He foresees (not as a prophet, but as an analyst), very tough economic times ahead for America, and for months has been sharing his concerns about food supplies. His sole motive here is to help others get through all this if he can. At the close of every single video, he states that it didn't have to be this way.

In my personal opinion, there may not be much not to resonate with here. :) I've learned a tremendous amount from him (about economics, as well as virology and biochemistry), and for me, he's been an inspiring, educating influence.

I have followed Chris's videos on Covid-19 since the start. He has been correct on many aspects of this situation, especially in the early sages of this pandemic. In my opinion he correctly identified several methods of coping with covid-19 that have proven to be successful in reducing the death total of covid infections. It is a real signal to me that the we can begin to put the covid pandemic behind us. He has devoted a lot of energy to this and his emphasis going forward is towards resilience.

That is almost enough for me to call victory over covid but another strong dot is this video done by Graham Phillips in St. Petersburg, Russia on August 29, 2020. It is a simple street video through the city where life is operating just like it was before. I saw either 1 or 2 masks during the entire video. The remainder unmasked with live going on normally. When I viewed this the first time I thought to myself, what is the death rate for this disease in Russia? It must be going through the roof. I checked the numbers and it is almost zero. Check this video for yourself: NCDouSvg61Y

These two events, totally unrelated, are helping me cope covid-19 going forward.

I keep shaking my head every day. I never wear a mask unless i have to when in a store and only out of courtesy , not fear or belief in this con game.

again I make the point that it would be major and desired $$ bonanza for MSM to report a major celebrity, actor, writer, influencer, news caster, journalist, athlete, dancer, singer, author , composer, performer, notable of any kind, dying from covid 19. Imagine someone of later years, a Clint Eastwood , Morgan Freeman etc.it would be major news.
Yet no one, no one!
Its hard to believe all these people practicing such safe behavior to prevent this highly contagious virus.

I want my pandemic to have damage, I want bring out your dead stuff , if I am to have my life and freedom, business and families future altered or destroyed. If i see real losses, the homeless for example all gone from this, and so on or hear of someone in my town, just a few, Ill wear a full space suite to try to survive it.

but nothing! my sister with aids and kidney failure, never a mask living and laughing up a storm, out at bars smoking her pack a day with a martini.she should be most susceptible

Yet dopes in my town driving alone in cars with masks on and windows up, jogging , working out alone or biking on the side of the road, with masks. I played golf with a friend that walked 18 holes with a mask then sat next to a few of us having a beer for 20 minutes without one! Did he not undo all he suffered for?

You cant use logic or reason today. Its been cancelled! And that to me is most disturbing

Wow, I now see how its done, Germany 1939
