James Fox's feature exploring 70 years of history behind proving UFOs exist will now have a digital release on Oct. 6.
UFO documentary The Phenomenon, which takes an expansive look across 70 years' worth of history behind proving the existence of UFOs, right up to the latest discoveries, has a new trailer and release date.

The feature — from director James Fox — was originally slated for a wide North American theatrical release via 1091 Media this fall, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic will now premiere worldwide on all digital platforms on Oct. 6.

Co-written by Fox and Marc Barasch, The Phenomenon features never-before-seen archival footage and interviews with key eyewitnesses, experts and officials, including former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, President Clinton’s White House chief of staff John Podesta, former Deputy Undersecretary for Defense Intelligence Christopher Mellon, and former U.S. Energy Secretary and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, as well as Jacques Vallee, who served as a scientific consultant on Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

E.T. actor Peter Coyotes narrates the film, which was produced by Fox and Dan Farah (Ready Player One), among others.

"The Phenomenon is meritorious. It makes the incredible credible," said Reid, while former Senior CIA Officer and member of the Senior Intelligence Service, Jim Semivan, described it as, "The most important documentary of the year and the most accurate examination of the world's greatest mystery."

Vallee said: "Seventy years of secrecy has led to this. The most credible documentary ever made about UFOs."

Chris Mellon, former United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence at the U.S. Department of Defense, said: "I can’t think of a better way for people to begin educating themselves on this long-neglected issue than watching The Phenomenon. The film provides a badly needed remedy for the unwarranted stigma that for too long has prevented government and academia from taking this important topic seriously."

Sorry if I divert a little bit, just for a second.

It just occurred to me and I can imagine it would happen that if they start new scientific group to investigate all available evidence and ET sourced information,
something like the MJ 12, Project Blue Book or even Dr Greer’s CSETI,

give them 20 years to investigate with advanced instruments and techniques available today, almost the same thing will happen and they will close after 20 years the study with “inconclusive results”.

And no I’m not a ET skeptic obviously but in principle, we can’t jump some millions of years of evolution and space travel and “catch them” to butterfly net.


We may cal upon them with millions of voices yet the decision is entirely theirs.

And we are not enough even to call ourselves majority in the cacophony and hum of this anthroposphere , how brightly do we shine in the dust of grenades exploding ?

That said, I’m not feeling discouraged from discovering more truth everyday and on the go and feel we are entitled to knowing and evolution of knowing and history of the Universe.

I watched it last night and I think the title should be changed to “We want you to believe”. The production quality was high, good narration, video footage of historical sightings and contacts. Nothing new was presented, if you have been following the subject. Perhaps normies might think it’s a big reveal. They focused solely on the nuts and bolts hypotheses that all UFO’s are real physical objects, despite the fact that Vallee spoke in several parts of it. Not one word about consciousness. They played up the military sightings and politicians opinions to give the subject credibility.

In my personal opinion it’s another propaganda TSA rollout to control the narrative. What seems more important to me is why they want me to believe and why now. Could it be to convince us that some ET’s are good, some bad and we will tell you which is which. Secondly we need to militarize the Space Force to combat the “threat”. Lastly they will suck the financial and spiritual life out of you to pay for it , build it and then use it as another means to control you, not them.

I agree and feel that this documentary is part of a highly managed roll-out of a directed narrative, and the featured individuals (whether knowingly or not) are embroiled in it.

Of course there's nothing novel about the content of the film to a community like Avalon. We know many of the individuals responsible for its production to have been involved in everything we oppose philosophically.

However, I also feel there's a lot to be learned from closely paying attention to the roll-out (whether we agree with it or not) as it seems that the puzzle we've been piecing together as a group for decades now takes the shape of a multi-dimensional chessboard. The timer at the side of the chessboard is now very much in play and this gives us a chance to survey some of the players, their pieces and how they want to make their moves.

We know that one successful strategy for gaining battlespace dominance over perceived enemies has always been to dress up very much like their friends. In this case, having these elite MIC luminaries dress up as Born Again UFO Enthusiasts seems like a perfect vantage point from which to co-opt the narrative so that they can hand the general population (who, on the whole, know nothing about this) a script.

It seems like this is one of the times in history Avalon members have been waiting for. In making these issues public, we've been given an opportunity to unpick some of the knots we've been tied in for a long time. We can speak to our communities and hand them different scripts containing what we know to be the truth (against the backdrop of government verified data), along with our concerns regarding Melon, Elizondo and the rest of that cohort of spin-doctors.

Items in this roll-out aren't merely fodder for our criticism, or judgement in terms of "who's been messed with by whom?". They also give us fuel to organise.

Following mostly the TikTok video releases from Pentagon, the European Space Agency ( ESA) rolled out close satellite observation and reporting program of UAPs,
in cooperation with NASA and hopefully, other space observatories around the world included.

It does NOT exactly make huge scientific sense to me why any such observation should be located to limited area as they plan for now
since we have almost global satellite coverage.

Secondly, Dr Ailleris , the project controller and facilitator does not necessarily believe these UAPs are of ET origin. So clinical.

What else would they be Sir, another intelligence co-inhabiting this planet with us for long periods of our history,
more recently and pertaining to us, last about 30 thousand years we know of ?

Hello Agape,

I personally know Philippe Ailleris for some years. I would like to correct you on the following:

Ailleris is not an astronomer.
He does not have a PhD.
He does work for ESA but at a low level.
His press statement is his own private statement to the media outlet SPACE.COM

He collects and collates UAP activity data on a private basis. He does not have a remit from ESA for this work.
However, he does share this information with his colleagues in ESA by way of reviewing and updating UAP data in his extra curricula activities via presentations. Of course he would have made suggestions for ESA to use satellites for surveillance in detecting UAPs.

Some years ago in Italy, a key research colleague and my self shared evidence in support of the ET presence by using all the documentation from the 'FRIENDSHIP' case back in the 1950s and 1960s and some other best cases.

Although we spent about 2 hours providing this material, my impression was Ailleris was not ready to integrate the reality of this evidence. Agape, I understand your frustration, some people who have not carried out thorough research like Ailleris which is a common behaviour with most scientists. This is both psychological and their perception as to their world view as an individual scientist. Its not there fault, they are right where they are at the level of growth personally. They have all be conditioned to follow through there world view.

BTW Agape, I'm really optimistic with the trends globally for this non ET narrative to be phased out in time.

and while the boundaries of our time-space are undefined but expanding we are not only hopeful but bound to understand more in future.

Whatever it really means, I’m also optimistic no matter how complicated the subject may be as it unravels.

From my pure perspective, I (but “we” better too) stick to the wisdom of our ancestors, religions and fairytales and seek communication with wisdom beings no matter how advanced they are or how small we feel, relying on ours and theirs most benevolent intents

An opportunity has arisen today to pose some questions to James Fox about the "The Phenomenon"film.

I will be having virtual meeting with James Fox within a private group of researchers today at 1900rs BST (Europe).

Because of the makeup of the group of professional scientists and other key wide range of disciplines, the questions and critical appraisal will most likely go beyond the superficial type questions that we are accustomed too within the present narrative.

The private group similar to an 'invisible college' are all well versed in the subject matter of UAP/UFOs/ETs.

Let me know before the deadline at 1900 hrs BST. (Sydney 0500 hrs, California 1100 hrs, New York 1400 hrs)

Reporting my participation of a discussion with James Fox live 16 October 2020

We had an interesting meeting up with James Fox. The meeting was mainly a discussion and comments by most participants, not so much a question and answer session. In fact, some of the participants provided additional information that was more of an education for James Fox.

The planning for the film was to take the core 15 per cent of UFO reports that defy any terrestrial explanation. When considering that UFO sightings are now frequent every 8 seconds throughout the world. James Fox stated before the making of the film“ Intentionally no mention of ETs or aliens, but providing that something is going on and that we need some science.”

The highlight of the film and most convincing to the skeptics is the Ruwa, Zimbabwe case of 1994.
The Ruwa, Zimbabwe case at the Ariel school was not only the most moving one but one of the most convincing cases.
There was 50 hours of filming of this case which had to be edited down to 8 minutes. Two teachers were interviewed coming clean on the film that this was a real event despite at the time no one believed the children.

Having 100 school children discussing the same experience at the time and also 25 years later in a recent meet up. Children but now adults discuss how the interaction took place. The eyes of the UFO entities was that their eyes were scanning the eyes of each child as if in a state of curiosity.

This was also reciprocation by some of the children with there curiosity. There was a stillness within the atmosphere with communications to there minds. A common message of concern for the earth’s environment.

The correlations of targeted surveillance of military nuclear silo facilities and their intervention by UFOs has a similarity of UFOs targeting schools around the world. One participant mentioned that there were over 100 schools over 140 years that had been visited with some landings by UFOs. In the many cases of landings entities had communicated to the children. The film makes much emphasis historically of UFOs starting in the in the 1940s. Although Jacques Vallee did mention that records show historically a different interpretation over the millennium.

There was a history before the era of the ‘Flying Saucer,’ that we having been seeing airships in the 1890s before the Zeppelins arrive twenty years later. There is an explanation of this historical sequence of technology witnessed before it arrives and made by man. The very convincing Lonnie Zamora case of 1964 showed unseen footage that reinforces the evidence of this event.

Three cases that may have another interpretation was the (1) Kenneth Arnold sighting of 1947, (2) the Washington DC July 1952 flyover and (3) the Malmstrom, Montana 1967 multiple silo interventions.

(1) Arnold case: It was suggested that the sighting was of a Northrup combo Horton flying wing under Project Paperclip operating at speeds of 1200 mph.

(2) Washington DC case: The sighting was an ultra secret CIA/NSA Project Palladian experimenting with a training programme for radar operators. Testing out to determine objects at different altitudes.


(3) Maelstrom case: It was suggested it was a secret experimental Hughie 5400P helicopter (whisper sound) introducing new night vision technologies. Military told do not shoot.
However, it was mentioned at the meeting that Captain Salas had privately stated that the UFO took a 10 ton concrete lid off that was protecting nuclear materials. He was convinced this was a demonstration by the UFOs and a kind of message of there capabilities.

Like wise Russian silos were taken over by UFOs and a timed sequence to initiate a missile launch could not be stopped, but did stop in the end within 15 seconds of launch.

The interesting correlation of the Polaroid photo showing a UFO on end, similar to Jeremy Corbell interview of Bob Lazar describing the ‘craft’ also on end flying with gravity towards itself. Further suggestions that this may be interdimensional and applying FTL capabilities.

Another participant with the criticism of Christopher Mellon’s statement saying that “nothing like this behind the scenes or anything on the drawing board”. Isn’t this an issue of secrecy?

While Senator Reid mentions that “their technology is different to our technology”. James Fox questioned him further without the filming where Reid mentioned the alarming aspect of lot more recorded sightings and that there was a lot of concern. Reid also mentioned that the intelligence community keeps the information away from the Presidents. The concerted push back by not only some key senators within the Republican Party, but some high up in the military with religious beliefs are blocking the UFO phenomenon, seeing UFOs as demonic and is freaking them out, despite them recorded by radar.

James Fox was asked about was there any connection between AATIP and ‘The Phenomenon’. He said “there was no cross over”.

Another participant suggested initiating an educational film for school children. Promoting a video of UFOs for school children. He thought it “was a great idea”.

From my experience, anything that is classified top secret or above top secret, can take decades to be declassified and released to the public. Its been 70 years roughly since Roswell NM incident. The upper echelon on our society has little or no control over the truth, and the people, ... Though they can influece what is within their grasp, like our beliefs ... our awareness to some degree. One cannot simply expect, that the deepest darkest secrets the Gov has will just be released like that to the public. The concern for fear is a valid concern and I totally agree with the Gov descision to classify some of these events and the details around them. If the world reacted in fear, this information would be damming to any order. Being that time has passed and mostly we see people excited or immaginative, heck even wanting to have these experiences with ufo's or obe's etc ... I think it just takes time. The fact that the US Gov has admitted, it has captured craft made not from this world, says it all. But can you understand why they didnt announce this over a speakerphone to the entire world? Little steps for huge changes. The Gov had to wait for a society that can handle the differences. Imagine ET coming to a town near you in the 50's ... you see how whites acts to blacks? How do you think people will act towards a totally advanced and superior species who is right in front of them? And I dont mean to say all whites are racist, I just mean to point out, we dont even like our own kind... we bomb our own kind... we starve them. We are slaves to $ and a system of deep dark corruption. WE, have issues. I cannot imagine the terror we would inflict, have inflicted, upon species not from this world.

It has been coming out, and will continue to do so, because the people themselves have changed, are changing, always in a constant state of change. Over time, we will know more and only have more questions ... But to me, this movie is a great addition to the movement, and disregarding ones expectations, tbh, the Gov shouldn't have released a single admission... but they did. That says a lot when talking about compartmenalized gov programs. We are lucky imo ...

This settles it for me at least. I mean, I have had my own experience, contacts, so I was already aware, and was intuitively my entire life. This admission from the Gov, officially, changes everything. whether it be a picture and a few statements or a simply admission to secret programs proves that the topic was taken seriously since the 40's, obviously, and that there is concern for the future of mankind.
