They all probably used Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Veritas) as "trusted source" ... hey James O'Keefe when do you sue Wikipedia?

I wonder if these mistakes are cynically planned. Meaning, they know what they are putting out there is false and will have to retract it. At that point it doesn't matter. Once the inflammatory article is out there people will read the headline, the information will be absorbed, regardless of whether it was true or not.

The supposed "unbiased" press using these tactics against what and who they don't like will only invite increased government oversight and control in the future. So as always evil destroys itself.

I wonder how many in the press actually want that outcome though. Perhaps they are knowingly self destructive. Perhaps they don't like the idea of a free press and want to undermine it.

Never underestimate the self serving regressive impulse in humanity and its ability to cause people to want to destroy themselves, whatever their industry.

*Self serving meaning an increasingly limited/regressed/superficially disconnected from the soul and higher Self version of the "self". Narcissism perfected and self nullification sought, is what we are seeing too much these days. It is tragic yet we all have the free will choice to reduce our consciousness and light if we want to. Of course we can also choose to expand it.

The destruction on the outside is reflecting the struggles taking place within the collective psyche. I don't know if "we" will prevail-those who seek alignment with the soul or whatnot, the expansion of consciousness. I know that individually it is a good idea to wake up. To be conscious of this struggle so that one's stance and choice in it isn't made for them, rather of their own conscious will.

I wonder if these mistakes are cynically planned. Meaning, they know what they are putting out there is false and will have to retract it ...

It been this way pretty much since media was invented, its just now we (the masses) have ways to verify and have the abilities to see the lies greater than we ever had in the past. (Internet)

1) Its a numbers game ... if you put out 50% lies and only get called out on 1% of that 50% you still have a good record of 99.5% "accuracy"

2) The way advertising works is the effect in the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind has no judgement abilities and sees everything as the truth. That is why the only thing that really matters is the exposure. The quality of a tv commercial is almost irrelevant respective to the overall exposure.

There used to be these ads on the TV back in the 90s for "Canada Computers" - the absolute worst cringeworthy low budget commercials you ever saw - enough to make you hate the company, and they just kept making them the same way again and again.

Why? Because only the exposure matters, and they knew that and had fun with the concept and managed to grow their business a massive amount in that timeframe -- it works, even if you walk away hating the commercial, you have a greater chance of buying a computer from them after that whether you like it or not. People need to be very careful about what they expose themselves to. Putting down the phone, turning off the TV, etc. is vital to not get caught in these manipulations.

Very often mainstream outlets like Twitter, the Guardian etc will say these transgressions and retractions were down to "mistakes" but they're not mistakes these people are liars.
