With 30-days left before the election perhaps it’s worthwhile remembering what all of this opposition is about…. Something 99% of American voters do not quite understand.

Congress doesn’t actually write legislation. The last item of legislation written by congress was sometime around the mid 1990’s. Modern legislation is sub-contracted to a segment of DC operations known as K-Street. That’s where the lobbyists reside.

Lobbyists write the laws; congress sells the laws; lobbyists then pay congress lucrative commissions for passing their laws. That’s the modern legislative business in DC.

This is one of the best articles I have seen on how the US Government actually works. This also gives some insight as to why Trump is probably the most hated president in modern history. The hate for Trump is not a left or right issue it is a money and power issue. Also, one of the major reasons they want him out is that he has openly stated that he's in favor of term limits and getting rid of the lobbyist. The power brokers and the lobbyist understand that the only way Trump could remove them is in a second term, even then it would have to be late in his second term. If Trump is not reelected this opportunity will probably not present itself again in most of our lifetimes.

Many of the Trump supporters may or may not understand the specifics of why Trump is so beneficial for their country but they know that every elite news organization, the vast majority of politicians (on both sides) and every single lobbyist hate him with a passion, this tells his supporters that something special is happening and it is going to make the country great again.

I drive on K street about once a week or so, the wealth concentration in that area makes it seem like a different planet.... no wonder our laws seem to be written by drunk aliens.....
