Hello

A while ago I was having very strange dreams and soon came to realize that I was not the only one. I have seen posts in different threads on this forum with different members stating or asking if there is some kind of push going on in our dreams do to the rising volume of people reporting odd things happening in their dreams/trouble sleeping ect. I figured I would post this thread for two reasons. The first of which being; When I posted my experience (available here http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?10127-Getting-consistantly-attacked-in-my-dreams-any-advice-would-be-great) on this forum I stopped having these dreams, from the point of my last post in the thread were I reported my dream and now (at least as far as I can remember anyway). This could be because another member saw the post and helped me out or god knows what, either way it can't hurt to post. The 2nd and main reason is that if their is a significant rise in these dreams and enough people post their experiences, then maybe we as Avolonians can discern a trend and come up with some answers; on the other hand maybe not and we just get left over with a thread of intriguing dreams, we'll see how this goes!

Cheers,

Aldous.

I spent most of last year writing down my dreams almost every day. I've since lapsed a bit from this practise, mostly due to a change in schedule - I can tell you this much, I had a few vivid dreams last year in which I was being "trained" for something. There was clear learning and preparation in various weird techniques like levitation, hand to hand combat (but with other "Star Wars" force like abilities involved") and even piloting vehicles.

I also had several dreams which "came true" - some were happy i.e. I dreamt while my wife was pregnant that we would have a girl, three times, and in one of them I met her and walked with her through a park - a week after this we found out we were having a girl. Others were warnings - I dreamt I would run into some old co-workers and crash my car shortly after - while visitng my family shortly after, I was having a discussion about dreams with a friend, we were going to the pub. I had avoided the old work place purposely that day, the dream fresh in my mind. We go to the pub, sat down, and at the next table were all the coworkers from the dream, out for a drink! The next day, my car started to die on the highway. I was faced with the choice of keep going or call a tow truck and pay $300 - I went with the tow truck and it seems like it was the right decision.

There have been others too - I highly recommend the recordng of dreams (and should get to it myself) - as soon as you wake up, just start talking into a tape recorder without really opening your eyes or turning on the lights. If you don't have one, scrible it out in a notebook. Every couple weeks go back and read over them, see if you can learn anything. Its kinda fun actually!

A perpetual dream....

The world my spirit enters at night, is one i have tried to understand for a very long time. Since i can remember, my nights are filled with very powerful learning experiences. Some are physical..some are emotional.

A white room materializes around me, very bright, i am sitting on the same dinning room table as my parents had while i was growing up. i stand up on the table and begin to recite my multiplication tables..

My voice reverberates out, getting louder and louder. i cover my ears and fall to my knees.

Please stop!! i scream out..

The lights go out and i start to fall into the darkness... i am screaming ..i am in a panic.. i;m going to die.

and then, i feel them... hands reaching out..touching me.. grabbing at me.. holding me up...

i start to cry, as i feel the hands gently carry me to the ground, laying me softly down before the dissapear into the darkness..

i'm not crying because of fear, but because i want them to hold me close and never let go..

it took me a long time to decide to hit the submit button for this post..sharing this is very intimate for me..

"I had a Significant Dream recently, where I saw a Blood Red-Purple Sky that that looked like a War-Zone with a strange yellow plane in the midst of it all that was shot out of the sky by something, don't know what tho!"

"My Last Prophetic dream was when I saw a fair haired man in Khaki Shorts & Shirt with Blood right in the middle of his shirt, in the same dream there was also dark haired man who crashed his car into a tree and died on the spot." 1 Week later Steve Irwin was tragically killed when a Sting-Ray pierced his heart with it's tale and within days a very famous Australian Race-Car driver Peter Brock wrapped his race car around a tree and died on the scene. Freaked me out Bigtime!

I know when I have had a Prophetic Dream, not only because of how vivid they are but the next day my peripheral vision is out of focus and when I look to the left or right it looks like some kind of clear Kalidesope pattern.

Three years ago I was diagnosed as having kidney cancer. In the week before the diagnosis I had powerful dreams which showed Australia under water with just the south western section remaining untouched. I awoke with a start from these dreams every time by hearing my name shouted into my ear. I was alone at the time. I only told my girlfriend and she reminded me yesterday about the dreams.
When I was 10 years old my father passed away. I was asleep , but half awake the morning he passed and in that dream state his voice came to me and told me that he had passed but that he was fine and not to worry. When my older brother came to wake me I asked him if dad was dead and he was shocked. In the weeks that followed my father's death I dreamt that I was playing catch with my kid brother. We lived in the Bronx and my back was to the hill we lived on with my brother downhill from me( that way he had to chase all the missed balls down the hill LOL ) In the dream I saw a huge butterfly cross in front of me and looked to my right and saw a rabbit on my neighbor's lawn, just at that moment my dad's voice yelled " Joe! Look out behind you!" I jumped away and a speeding car came over the hill and landed right where I was standing. The next day the scenario played out exactly like in the dream . When I saw the rabbit I remembered the dream and jumped away just in time to avoid being run over. So Yes I believe in dreams < I just wish there was a way to know when you might have a significant one.

This reminds me of what was probably the most vivid dream I've ever had. I usually dont remember my dreams at all. At least I think it was a dream but actually I was just sitting up in bed watching this. All of a sudden there was an old man ( kind of sickly looking ) talking with this hairy (beast, huminid). I was more or less frozen the whole time but not really too scared. The Man and the beast seemed to be talking but I couldn't hear. The man vanished, Then the beast went under my bed or something like that. I could hear it breathing for a long time. And in the morning it was gone. I was probably 10 when this happened. Im 26 now. The man and the beast were totally out of left field nothing my ten year old self would have ever dreampt up on my own. They were soooo real. I have never had a dream that felt anything like that before or since. I always thought that it might not have been a dream. And I never knew what to make of it, as It didnt envoke a since of terror nor did I feel like they were there to help me. Its the only dream thats really stuck with me and I always felt there was something to it. Never shared that before but thought this thread was the perfect place.

Mmm... Dreams? A very personal experience and very tricky to interpret. I personaly wake up every night, between 01.30 and 03.30 - my sleep is not disturbed and I dont always remember the dreams. Just regular awakening...

I've had a lot of dreams with devils, ET encounters, spaceships, etc. Lately, I have been dreaming wise old woman archetype often. Sometimes she appears "normal", sometimes as a "feeble" old lady, but she has a sort of "presence". I also have had a dreams of schools, something like "Academy", and I know I have been trained, but for what I don't remember. But the uniform was dark blue.

But here is something I can't figure out: In one recent dream there was this young, powerful lady and she told me that it is time for my "initiation" (into what, I don't know, she never mentioned). She also told me: "next time you come, bring laces from your oldest shoes" (???) Have no idea what does it mean. I have done some research on this, and there is no reference that the shoelaces were considered as any sort of symbol:confused:
