Sirius, The Star of the Maltese temples. An interview with Lenie Reedijk
Hi everyone, I first met Lenie while I was staying on the small island of Gozo last year after we had our Avalon gathering in Malta. After chatting with her for a few days I became fascinated with her research and knowledge of the ancient temples around Malta and Gozo. So much so that I could not allow her to leave without attempting to interviewing her, which was my first ever interview. I hope I have given her the recognition that she deserves.
After posting the interview in the Malta gathering thread, I have decided that the information contained within Lenie Reedijk's book deserves its own thread.
Lenie's many years of research and conclusions concerning the ancient temples in Malta and Gozo is ground breaking. As far as I am concerned, she has cracked the code as to why so many temples were built and exactly when each temple was constructed. Which has been debated without a conclusion for more than a hundred years.
Lenie has discovered the star that the temple builders were following, that star is Sirius which first appeared on the horizon viewing from Malta in 9.150 BC. Therefore Lenie has pushed back the date of the construction of the first temple almost 5000 years.
I hope you enjoy my efforts :bearhug:

I learned quite a bit new by watching your video, Billy.
9,150 years ago! My goodness. Always so many secrets to discover in this world of ours...
I also had never heard of the "X Club", which sent me off to discover a bit more about that.
So much fascinating history to explore... so little time.
The whole interview seemed perfect, and polished too. Good work!

Many thanks for taking the time to listen to my interview Sue.
Yes Lenie has rewritten today's accepted history concerning the age of the temples in Malta and Gozo with her research, Actually back to 9150 BC. 11.150 years ago. From the accepted date of today being around 4000BC.
The X club connection was a surprise for me also. I informed Lenie of Dark Journalist's X series as she had never heard of him before. She is now a fan

Thank you Billy for you your "October Surprise" in sharing this video.
Lenie Reedijk is truely dedicated to her research into Maltese and Gozo temples. I really enjoyed the photographs and illustrations of the temple layout and how they related to the precession and the star Sirius.
Billy, you are a good interviewer asking thoughtful questions with a great voice for recording. Thank you again for sharing.:flower:
Thank you for your kind words Harmony. I am delighted that you enjoyed listening to the interview :flower:

I enjoyed it too Billy, it was very interesting and excellent research - it's always good to hear about history that the mainstream would prefer to keep buried! Malta is a place that I would love to visit to see its prehistoric remains, but not under present conditions sadly. Maybe some day.

Hi Hikerchick. Thank you for watching. I am glad you enjoyed the interview, If the future is kind to us all, I would be more than happy to have another Avalon gathering in Malta to visit the ancient temples. Lenie just returned there three days ago to continue writing her new book.
It is exactly a year ago that we met in Gozo. Hopefully next year I can return using my flight ticket that had to be cancelled last March.

Hello Billy,
My post might surprise you and after looking at your birth sky (date in profile), I'm thinking maybe your previous incarnation was on Sirius? Natal Mercury Sirius conjunction on the axis of the lunar nodes (Karmic axis) Mercury thought, messages from here or elsewhere, in addition to Uranus conjunction, possibility of a stay in Atlantis via Sirius ...

Fascinating :sun:
A genuine question: can you determine anything much about mine at all? I'd be genuinely interested to know (perhaps a PM is more suitable in case Sirius doesn't feature at all :) ).
Thanking you in advance.

Some spectacular images of Sirius here, and some from amateur enthusiasts :sun: :
Some dufus has added some ropey 'metal' music to this: totally unnecessary - really  Play this with the sound most definitely muted

A comment on the X thread (https://x.com/kaarstyyy/status/1857775481728430129) from where I pulled the shot:
"I got to look at Sirius via the telescope at the Lowell Observatory in Arizona and it damned near brought me to tears weirdly. I’ve never seen a more beautiful and vibrant shade of blue."
Here, some stills from a video shot of Sirius:

Another amateur telescope shot:

Commentary (https://x.com/harf_e_ghazal/status/1857741862943035715) on that thread:
"Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. Its name is derived from the Greek word Σείριος, meaning lit. 'glowing' or 'scorching'. The star is designated α Canis Majoris, Latinized to Alpha Canis Majoris, and abbreviated α CMa or Alpha CMa."
A still-focused shot, without Earth atmospheric distortion which is clearly present in the above videos:
