I was reading this and thought that it may well be of interest. Any suggestions from our science people here?

no idea, but if it travels with 4x lightspeed, then it will take 3 million years to reach here.
enough time to find out more...

Depends what you mean by reaching here.

The radiowaves have reached us, and still do...however, if you mean whatever sends the waves...yes it would take that long for what or whomever to get over here.
That's assuming travel was done by the same means as the radiowaves that have travelled here.

I'm guessing the biggest news here is the 4x speed of light, which is generally thought of as impossible. Oh, and of course the fact that they do not know what sends the signals :)
