Pedra da Gávea is a mysterious and fantastic place that is close to my home in Rio de Janeiro, which I already visited and went to the top.

One of the most popular tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro, Pedra da Gávea is the largest stone block by the sea in the world. An incredible view, 847 meters high.
What most do not know is that the place is also the scene of several legends and mysteries. Named in 1502, Pedra da Gávea was the first mountain in Rio to be baptized
with a name in Portuguese.
High on a coastal mountain, this sculpture reminds us of a face. In addition to this peculiarity, the rock also has mysterious inscriptions that according to historians would have been impossible to have made by nature, these inscriptions also gives evidence of an extinct language.

There is a version or hypothesis that has gained breath to explain the recordings at Pedra da Gávea. In fact, these are studies done seriously by Bernardo A. Silva Ramos, an archaeologist and professor of scientific skill.
He was the first to see a code that made sense engraved on Pedra da Gávea, and thus to do a translation and decoding of the supposed inscriptions on the rock.
In 1928, the teacher for many solved the mystery, by being able to decode the meaning of the writings in the Pedra da Gávea published in his book “Inscriptions and Traditions of Prehistoric America”, a book that
presented the reproduction of countless inscriptions found by him as well as by other archaeologists in Brazil. In his book he reports several inscriptions found in various parts of the country containing
characters from the Phoenicians, Arabs, Greeks and even the Chinese alphabet.
He reached the following conclusion after a complicated work that involved the identification of the letters one by one, a translation into Hebrew,
a transliteration into Portuguese (representation of the characters of the other language by characters corresponding to the language Portuguese) and translation into Portuguese.
45887
The inscription, found on the “head” of Pedra da Gávea written in archaic Phoenician, whose translation reads from right to left says: “Tyro Phenicia Badezir Firstborn of Jethbaal”
In 1963 Bernardo A. Silva Ramos translated the inscriptions as:
“LAABHTEJ BAR RIZDAB NAISINEOF RUZT”. Read from right to left (just like in Arabic and current Hebrew it reads from right to left).
Which translated means: Tyro Phenicia Badezir Firstborn of Jethbaal. JETH-BAAL OR YET-BAAL, is a name that refers to two “twin” brothers, older children of BADEZIR.
45888
According to historians, there was a Phoenician King in 856 BC, named Badezir, who according to the first translation replaced King Jethbal, his father, on the royal throne of Tyro.
But according to the second translation, it was Badezir the father of the Jeth brothers -Baal. If this hypothesis were confirmed with archaeological evidence, it could be believed
that the Phoenicians were in Rio about 800 years before Christ, and that Pedra da Gávea would be a tomb where Badezir or Jeth-Baal would be buried, and the human features
molded on the stone would be the face of Badezir or Jeth-Baal.
Among the theories that originated in the rocky forms of Pedra da Gávea, one of them is about the existence of a Great Agartha Portal. It would be a portal that leads to a dimension unknown to many, based on the hypothesis of a hollow planet Earth.
45889
Although there is no solid evidence that the rock is in fact an ancient sacred landmark of some kind, or an archaeological monument, there are many parts of it that deserve further study.
If it was once the tomb of Badezir or the entrance to Agharta, today it is just another place for Eco-tourists, and a place still not as well explored.
There will always be someone to ask: (ANCIENT ALIENS TIME ) :clapping:
- Who would be the authors of such a great monument?
- Why did they build it?
- Are they the same people who sculpted the Nazca Lines in Peru?
- Were the builders the Phoenicians?
- If so, how did they manage to cross the seas and the Atlantic Ocean to get here three thousand years ago in our past?
Other factors that led to many stories about the rock
- The appearance of the large head with the two eye, the ears and the location of a nose;
- The huge stones on the top of the head that resemble a kind of crown or adornment;
- A huge cavity in the form of a portal in the north-east part of the head that is 15 meters high, 7 meters wide and 2 meters deep;
- An observatory in the Southeast part like a dolmen, containing some engravings
- A high point like a small pyramid made of a single block of stone on top of the head;
- The famous and controversial inscriptions on the side of the rock;
- Some other small inscriptions resemble snakes, sun rays and etc., located across the top of the mountain;
- The location of a supposed nose, which would have fallen a long time ago.
