Hello all

in light of all the madness, i have started leaving and deleting.

I have quit F Book after many years and 2000 friends. Being and artist and song writer, not so easy, but needed to do so.

I now belong to MeWe social networking. Total crickets, but already have 30 new contacts and growing.

I have ended using google. Using Duck Duck go, until it is corrupted like everything else.

i am trying to find alternatives to amazon best I can.

i have quit many sites, deleting all emails from anything regarding politics .Never been on twitter, and getting off instagram

I cannot fix the world

I am cleansing my palette . Ignoring most all . I will remain here and one other good site

The delete button?? "say hello to my lil friend"

I gave up most Google products a few years ago. Gave up Gmail (which can sell your personal emails if it wants to.) Rarely use if for searching except for images. I usually use Startpage or Yandex. Alas, I have a Google Voice phone number and need to connect through that for phone and text.

Alas, am on Facebook, but usually for a group I manage. Wish I could move this group to another place, perhaps MeWe.

I did place an order with Amazon a few months ago BUT have been trying to eliminate using them and other Bezos businesses (Washington Post and Whole Foods.)

I have a MeWe account but not many people to talk to there.

I need to do a lot more to get the corporate parasitic-globalist-corporatist-shapeshifting dung monkeys out of my life.

Like move to Ecuador ... or Mars ... o heck, nevermind, they have probably already colonized Mars.

Me too! Thanks Doug.

Was thinking about this the other day. I am already not part of social media. But I have expanded my news sources considerably since I cannot get satisfaction from the Big News Networks.

So with your reminder I will now also delete many connections I have that only lead to more confusion and emotional upheaval. No Fox, no Alex Jones, no local news, no PP which I find is very amateurish anyway, Breitbart, Newsmax, Zero Hedge, Trump News, RSB Network, George News, Brighteon, London Real. Will keep Real America News for the twice daily Bannon report. I would get up every morning and spend an hour going over just the headlines. I will not do that any more. They cannot be relied on anyway to bring you actual news and not merely speculation.

Thanks Doug

Very good thepainterdoug. :clapping::clapping:

I never created a Facebook account, Instagram or Twitter.

As a digital designer, i had great discussions with bosses because of that, I never changed my guidelines.
Now i work at home, i am my boss, problem solved! Hard to get rid of google, I'm trying ...

Congratulations for the initiative

Good for you!

Now you can understand why I asked a few days ago about any good Alt-news website?

I mean one place where I can get ALL the important REAL world news each day.
Not the fear-porn fake news stuff.

No. There is none. And that is very big problem. But news was never about reporting actual news. It might have seemed that way at one time but news has always been a propaganda arm of the governments of the world. Now they are the propaganda arm of the globalists and their cronies.

Not sure why this is pointed out except in some general way.

Although there has been no fact-centered channel, the facts are still there. It just takes more work to find it. And for the most part, whatever facts are accepted become little more than opinions because we can never trust the source, no matter what that is.

Where have I claimed otherwise?

Mike Adams does know a lot about the current situation and seems to have
realized he does not know it all.

So, I listen to him a lot lately.

Alex Jones when he is interviewing someone whose well informed.

Whistle blower nurses are very special and loose their jobs if they do not comply.
Today that's a biggie, in my book.

As some of you know I have not watched tv for decades, am about 98% vegan for
health reasons and because I love animals, except for the ones that would kill me
if hungry. They have to live also.

Thanks Doug.

Thanks everyone.

To be clear, I deleted my facebook in outrage and protest of censorship. I didnt delete it because of any other reason. I enjoyed it for posting my paintings and for the ufo community etc .
But Im glad I did, there has to be another way and it really doesnt matter anyhow. Life goes on and even better without social media.

Im making these moves to protest the insane censorship we are quickly acclimating to. it is a small statement but one thats actionable.

We quickly acclimate to everything. From 9/11 to Covid, all freedoms gone never to return .

bring the boil up slow on the frog. He will happily cook.

Gab.com is in the process of expanding their services. They have their own servers so they can't be shut down. Today, Gab.com founder, Andrew Torba, stated that "MeWe is NOT a free speech site" and then shows a quote by MeWe's CEO, Mark Weinstein, revealing that Weinstein wants to censor "hate speech".

Torba can't use easy payment methods, like paypal etc; it's cheque, e-cheque or bitcoin only. Him and Gab are five years ahead of this censorship storm, having battled it themselves. This sums up Gab nicely :sun:

im not married to any site. i will see how it goes, and jump ship when not happy with it.

but cutting into facebook and the big giants is more the motive for me. we have a voice! and if many did similar to what I did, they would feel it

Glad to hear you are well Doug: My revenge against censorship is to shout louder and ask heaven to take them down. To that end both the newspapers and television are now sending requests to subscribe. Never see it. From a fellow warrior.

Before you disappear altogether, your "Lady of Light?" painting with the cow or bull on the lower right could possibly be a projection from the Hive Mind of Intelligent Cattle Beings pleading with the human race to stop the evils being done in raising and slaughtering cattle which are truly horrible. As a result, I cannot bring myself to purchase meat. I will shortly be growing fins. A lot of people love you so don't be too angry at them.

Hi thepainterdoug, congrats! This is awesome, each time I hear someone saying that, it is like music to my ears. hahaha

I do not know much about Gab, I just heard Dissenter browser is based on Brave browser and it sucks on Linux, then I never tried out. Their social network, one need to know where the information is stored, if it is in their servers, they can turn their mind at any time, we know money do that with people. The only way to guarantee freedom of speech is to be peer to peer, then no one would be able to remove the content if boils down to that. Also federated servers backed by community is one good option, since we tend to trust more community than big techies.

I'm a little sorry I have never been on FB so I don't have the pleasure of unsubscribing! It has been very much against my inclinations for years. I know it is a big part of many people's lives and I can understand how difficult it could be to step away, especially in a time of isolation. Kudos!

I'm sorry to derail the topic, but I would love people's recommendations for better/more private email providers! I find it creepy when (among other things) topics I have been writing about in an email suddenly show up as ads or as the first or second suggestion in search bars and feel uneasy about the amount of control Ggle has over one's personal emails and information.

Hi Nenuphar, I shared a few ones here on this thread -->> https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?113669-An-Experiment-an-Avalon-Members-Discord-Chat&p=1404367&viewfull=1#post1404367

I had to create a new email in order to register myself with discord, I created one with mailfence.com, so far so good.

If I can give my opinion to an artist. You shouldn't leave facebook with 2000 contacts, unless these friends were really virtual?
Starting over from scratch takes years, but it is true that the wheel turns and that popularity does not last forever.
I don't know [MeWe], I'm on WK and that's enough for me, I don't spend my life on social networks.
I saw a change on facebook, it's already been four years a drop in traffic on my public page with then complications in summer 2019 and today, I recognize that we have to be very careful about what we share on Facebook. My subscribers are down, but it does not matter, there is worse in life, wouldn't it be with the masquerade of this covid and this obligation to mask and after vaccination? Already almost 20 years that we have been on the internet, we live through uncertainties as in real life ...

Proton mail is a good e mail service. Be careful to save your password. If you forget it, you can reset your password but you will lose access to your emails as they are encrypted.

For now I am keeping my FB account because I have 4 grandkids and it's a nice way to share family pics.

But I'm using it a lot less now, I'm done sharing articles and info to try to wake up my family and friends, it's just not worth it. Evidently my kids recently stopped "following" me because of something I posted. We never discuss this stuff F2F because we want to keep peace in the family.

Hey, if you do move to Ecuador you may get to meet Bill. Whatever you do please do ensure that all dung monkeys have indeed been shaken off. He's enough on his plate already without dung monkeys into the bargain.

Update.

It has been an effort to not visit the news sites in the morning. I have been tempted to break my own rule. But so far I haven't - unless a link has sent me to one.

I cancelled News Max since the debacle with the My Pillow Guy. Never will watch that site again because of it. I have little tolerance for conservative bashing - even if it is by another conservative.

So now there is only Steve Bannon, GP, oh, and I could not exist without my Alex Jones fix so he is on my list again. And Avalon. That's it. I am on Gab but it is like facebook and I don't get the appeal. I check in every day but I don't understand how it works, just like I don't understand facebook.

But I did rejoin Gaia TV for the yoga classes. Won't watch much else there, though.

I feel lighter, happier, almost carefree. Avalon is enough intrigue for me.

I just can't handle listening to Alex Jones, it may just be his delivery but there is a ding ding ding going off in my internal truth meter when he is blabbing the hardest.

Do you ever read Martin Armstrong? His blog is the first thing I do after poring my first cup of coffee at 6am every morning. Between him and the rare video from Clif High I get my fill of what's next and what's going on today.

Ernie Nemeth
3rd February 2021, 18:23
No, not familiar with Armstrong.

Don't even know how to get to blogs. Not that I couldn't find out of course. Had thought of starting my own but who would bother to read it? And what kind of response would I have in an unregulated forum, if any?

I suppose this is the best pre existing thread for this post but I also suppose it will sink into oblivion in about 6 hours. Prove me wrong.

In this conversation Michael McKibben and Douglas Gabriel bust a few myths about assumed secure email services, and encryption and false advanced tech propaganda in general.

Hands Up, for me it's confirmation bias because I've long believed this to be true. After all, if you are the bad guys and you want an easier life as you make sticking your nose into the most relevant and threatening comms in the world your permanent business you build a honey pot to attract ( meaning self select and self filter ) most of those comms you are likely to need to keep an eye on.
