View Full Version : The Pitiful Case of Chris Harrison

I don't think I've ever seen the show 'The Bachelor', but like most people who don't live in ashrams I am aware it exists. For those that don't know, it's a "reality" show where a group of soulless twats compete for the affection of an even bigger soulless twat. And the winner marries this uber twat. I think.

Sometimes it's a group of women competing for one man, and sometimes it's a group of men competing for one woman. In the latest horrifying installment of the show, the man the women are competing for happens to be black. This shouldn't be a big deal, but of course it is.

So get to the point Mike...
Ok, it turns out that one of the contestants went to an antebellum themed frat party when she was an 18 year old college student. The antebellum south refers to the time before the Civil War. So what's the problem with that you may be wondering. Well there was slavery in America then, so of course what that means is this: anyone who attends an antebellum costume party - even a naive 18 yr old college girl looking to get drunk and wear a pretty dress - is an evil, insufferable racist who must pay for their crimes with endless groveling and prostration and begging for forgiveness....right till the day they die.

The woman in question did just that. She did the little dance. Oh you know: she was apparently unaware that her ignorance had caused so much pain and suffering, and she now realizes what she did was wrong, and she will strive to educate herself and be better in the future, and so on and so forth. She even confessed to being a racist!

Well, meanwhile, the show's host, Chris Harrison, had been asked about the drama with this particular contestant, and he basically stumbled thru a defense of her actions, saying, in effect, that it was silly that she was being judged for this one relatively harmless event in her life, and that we should offer some grace instead of judgment, and so forth. His whole statement was littered with "i don't knows" and other hedging-type language - escape hatches, essentially, because it sounds like he knew he'd have to walk back his words. It can all be heard in the video I'm including here. It's sorta painful to listen to because he knows he's saying something perfectly sane and reasonable, but he's struggling mightily to also make it palattable to the woke mob. A rookie mistake there.

So of course he's called out for his "racist" statements, and of course he apologizes, etc. Apparently he had the same epiphany that the female contestant had, because the language is nearly identical. These people must all have the same P.R. agent or something. Because, see, he now knows how his ignorance has caused so much pain and suffering, and he can see now why what he said was wrong. He's going to educate himself and strive to be better in the future, yada yada yada.

To add insult to injury, even his girlfriend went public to throw him under the bus during the whole ordeal.

And oh, did I mention he was fired anyway? I hope he saved his money.

The moral of the story is this: never, ever, under any circumstances, apologize to this group of freaks. Once they have you in their sights you're f#cked anyway. There are endless examples of this. Too many to list here. If you're gonna go out, at least do it with your dignity intact. There is only one reasonable response if these people come after you, and that response is this: F#CK OFF.

Most people are peaceful. Most people strive to keep the peace. Most people will walk away instead of fight.
But...most people have a limit beyond which all bets are off.

The agenda of the globalists and the radical left is to terrorize the white race by first radicalizing the minorities with hateful rhetoric. That has been accomplished for the most part these last five years or so. The second part of the agenda is to push the white race beyond their limits.

Because the ultimate agenda of the globalists is to foment race wars, divide America, and bring her to her knees.
From there it is a small thing for a foreign adversary (China, Russia, others) to overwhelm (financially, militarily, even ideologically) a nation preoccupied with internal strife.

Ya don't say.

As I said on one of doug's threads, and I know this is nothing new and I'm repeating myself, we evidently live in an era where logic has lost it's value and the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Where I live, high school teens staged a peaceful walkout because they felt Black History Month wasn't respected. Not even out of high school, education not completed, and they are allowed to educate the educators. When I grew up that was called skipping class because if you asked dumb teen me anything about the world I would have a 16 year old dumb reply because I wasn't old enough to understand the world. Lets be honest, those kids went home, microwaved Hot Pockets and played Call of Duty because that's what teens do.

I know I say silly/dumb **** often. The thing is people should be allowed to be wrong and corrected by their peers. I've never been called racist online or off, but according to the media I'm a horrible racist and I should be fired from my job and make a donation to Black Lives Matter to prove I'm not. Meh, no, **** that and you.

I've been called a sexist once online, but that person was as sharp as a spoon and possessed the intelligence of a brick. I do have a controversial opinion that males have a higher sex drive than females (which led to these accusations), and I'll admit I've never met a women that agrees with me. I don't think this should classify me as a sexist, I think if folks don't agree with this then they should just say I'm wrong, not sexist.

I'm not saying it sucks being me, cause it doesn't, but I'm generally hated on both sides: I'm for reparations, I think women do need to be treated better and I don't think the Bible is 100% hooey, but much of it is. So if I express my opinion, I generally annoy everyone! lol. **** em, don't be mad because I'm right.

I have never seen this show or know anything about the host or contestants but when I read this story yesterday I was amazed at the apology from Chris Harrison (host). He proselytized himself in every way imaginable way. He seems like a fairly decent guy but he should have never allowed himself to be caught in this conversation.

When he mentioned people taking down statues of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln I realized he does not truly understand the function of the cancel culture.

I find this entire post to be one long expression of your male privilege. Highly problematic. Nuance is racist, Strat. Haven't you heard? What you need to do is apologize right this moment so we can all not forgive you and instead use the apology to further prove our accusations of racism. Oh, and sexism. I'm not sure which was worse, your suggestion that men have a higher sex drive than women, or that there are any actual biological differences between the 2 sexes. Anyway, down the memory hole you go. Community love!

He does seem like a decent guy. But he lost me with that oily apology.

I was going to put this in your great cancel thread(and maybe I still will) but I thought it was sufficiently disturbing to merit a thread of it's own. Honestly I'm torn between never reporting another cancellation here again and obsessively documenting every single one. It seems I've found an annoying middle ground that fails to scratch any of that itching. But perhaps it will keep me sane.

His comments about the statues being toppled demonstrated to me that he did understand the gravity of cancel culture. What was it about those statements that made you think he didn't understand it?

My guess is that the show will now hire a half-black, half asian, trans woman with aids as the new host. I'll bet my life on it. Any takers?

You're really going to scold someone of Italian descent in Times New Roman? This is very triggering!! I am very offended and am now going to go loot a 4k TV from Target due to your ignorance. Ya know, a la Boston Tea Party it's the exact same I don't see how it's any different.
