Learning to Learn
While education is more or less compulsory in developed countries, learning is not.
Sure, there is a learning component in education but does not teach how to learn but rather what to learn.
After school there may be university studies and then a professional life that is rapidly
changing. In our times, learning to learn is the greatest skill that needs to be mastered.
In that context, I am attaching a link to a free download ebook

(I am currently over 81 years old and have never stopped learning !)

Awesome!
(Although I haven't looked at the link yet.)
Yes, never stop learning new things. Learning that you have to continue to learn.
When I worked in software development, I found that if I didn't continually challenge myself to learn new things each week, I was falling behind. There was a number of us that helped each other and challenged each other - we passed books around and found that each person was able to bring forward a particular element from a book that we could all benefit from.
There was a programmer that would mess with a person's PC and then that person had to figure out how to get his PC back into his control. :)
So many different ways to keep learning fresh and fun as well.
But I like how you have stripped it down to "learning to learn". There will sure be lessons for everyone within that framework!

The motor of my compressor burned. I just finish watching video on how to rewind it. Its fairly easy I think. Maybe it boils down to " where there is a will there is a way". Learning and creating new things is always exciting to me. But we can not expect all people to love to learn. each to his own.

I have to learn how to fix a troubled truck engine instead of paying a small fortune to the mechanic, I never worked with trucks before and I know just basics of mechanic, I guess it will be funny, worst case scenario I will learn a thing or two.

I've played keyboard for decades in only C, G or D, using that old transpose button. Now I'm learning other keys, like E, Eb... muscle memory's a bitch to develop!

There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.

In connection to this tread I am now reading "tools of titans". The foreword by Arnold Schwarzenegger is very related to "learning to learn"
