View Full Version : The Wall Of Shame

Update: I'm amending this thread to include anyone or anything that should be shamed, beyond what I've suggested here in the OP. Have fun with it, shamers.
We'll consider this a sister thread to the Cancel Culture thread, and it's purpose is to document an equally horrifying phenomena. And what I'm talking about here are all the spineless cowards who - having been singled out by the petulant woke children for committing the unforgivable crime of reason - degraded themselves willfully with that formalized vomit of an apology...you know, the one that professes the regrettable ignorance of their utterances, recognizes the pain and trauma they caused, declares an intention to educate oneself, and promises to do better in the future. But!...only after the perpetrator has stepped down from his professional position so as to create time to "reflect". Because, as we all have learned, only then can the humiliation be complete.
Having offered their souls on a platter, these sackless eunuchs are mostly irredeemable in my eyes. But their shameful acts must not be forgotten! No sir! My goal here is to immortalize them on a cyber wall of shame, something that will live on into eternity...something that aliens might see and use to decipher earth history, like those gold dvd's we send out into space as informational introductions to human culture.
The purpose is so that, should, say, Chris Harrison find peace at some point, and allow himself to entertain some form of redemption, - even in the afterlife or some future incarnation - a wall of shame soldier will be quick to remind him of what a yellow-bellied pussy he was when it really counted. That's my mission here, and I shall remained dedicated to it..
Ok, to kick this all off I'm going to begin with Mumford and Sons. Well, one of their members. I think his name is Winston. I'd say he's the one that looks like an Amish farmer, but that's what they all look like.
Anyway, moving on! Ol' Winston actually had the unmitigated gall to support a book by a conservative author (Andy Ngo) that exposed Antifa. Oh, and he also posed for a picture with Jordan Peterson once. Gasp!
Well, I think you all know how this one ended...with Winston's balls on the woke wall followed by a high pitched squeal of an apology as his head got collectively pissed on by our enlightened woke friends. The apology was a copy and paste of the usual one, and oh!.. don't worry!..he of course will be stepping away from the band for a while to "reflect" on his transgressions. So that's a relief.
So, Winston from Mumford And Sons, aside from enduring your unfortunate name you will also now be an immortal member of the Woke Wall Of Shame for offering your nauseating apology...you banjo playing weasel you...

I dunno Mike. A public wall of shame is not dissimilar to what the woke crowd does that you so passionately despise. So the kid's original misdeeds that deserved public exposure were supporting a book by a conservative author, and being photographed with Jordan Peterson; now his latest misdeed that deserves public exposure, is succumbing to that pressure.
Why not start a campaign to defend those that need defending, encouraging them to show some backbone, rather than dishing out further public humiliation? Or even a campaign to start going after these bullies themselves?
But I don't see going after those who have allowed themselves to become victims, as accomplishing anything more than adding insult to injury.

I guess the high-sarcasm is going to be a matter of taste and easy to misinterpret. I personally like the sarcastic approach in the op but understand how it might be controversial. Despite this I feel that sarcasm is a particularly good way to describe modern woke insanity. But then back on the flip side, it's also is cynical. Sarcastic statements deserve they're own tags. For example Sarcasm makes people sound so big and clever. How ever this falls, I'm reminded of a 90's British comedy sketch by The Mary Whitehouse Experience about someone who can't stop being sarcastic (link here (https://youtu.be/PyujQctZ9hw)).

Well I'm doin it with a wink Gracy:) I hope that's obvious! I want members to have a little fun with it.
The apology phenomenon is very important to dissect, and I'm deadly serious about it. The people involved aren't nearly as important, but it's hard to talk about one without the other. Singling out the people and having a little fun at their expense is a bit of a novelty for entertainment purposes. Anyway, A) they deserve it, B) they deserve it, and C) they deserve it. Plus, these apology stories are already splashed all over Yahoo news; a thread from Mike from Avalon will hardly make their lives any more difficult. It's not a campaign. It's just a thread on a small, niche forum. Have some fun with it!
Next on the chopping block: actor Mark Duplass. Hate to do it to him in a way. I was a fan. "Safety Not Guaranteed" is a great movie. So why am I including him here?
Well he met with conservative pundit Ben Shapiro once, decided he wasn't such a bad guy after all, and tweeted about it. And then, once all his leftist friends slapped him down for it, he castrated himself with that grovelling apology we've all become so regrettably accustomed to. So, Mark Duplass, today is your day darling! Welcome to the Woke Wall of Shame!

Well Mike, I'll gladly back on away and leave y'all to the fun, but it sure looks to me like you want to have it all ways while continuing the shaming of these people.
You're saying it's done with a wink, all in fun; yet this is serious, they deserve it, and our voices here are small enough as to not matter anyway, so it's okay to do a similar thing, to the same people, as the woke crowd does.
The woke crowd is shaming because the perps' offenses were that they dared associate with conservatives, while your reason is that they dared apologize for it.

If there's something that needs to be up here (and I may be crushing eggshells here) ... its white people apologizing for being white, or asking other white people to apologize for being white. As much as I see there's still a lot of work to do to rid systemic racism, I strongly disagree that this is the way to do it. It's 100% the wrong approach in my view.
Unfortunately, Marianne Williamson is in that camp. I like all she's done for the spiritual community and all, but I disagree with that.

Well I think that apologizing for being "conservative" is a bit ridiculous. I suppose this is just Mike's, (perhaps somewhat inappropriate) way of bringing attention to the topic ... I dunno. I could care less about Mumford and Son's and what they do ... Almost seems like Mike used to like them ... :P

Firstly, Mike accusing me of being a Mumfurd n Sons fan is by far the cruelest thing that's been written in this thread:) So can we all at least agree on that?
Gracy, I think some shame is appropriate sometimes, in certain doses, and in a certain style. It's become a dirty word over the years as we've grown progressively softer. But just like anger or sarcasm or whatever, it can be used as an effective tool. It's a thin line to walk maybe, and perhaps I'll cross it from time to time, but that's what you're here for:p
I do think our voices can have an impact here! But I don't think this thread will be going viral any time soon. Yes, there is a shame element to it, but it's mostly harmless fun - and that's what separates it from any kind of woke approach

In ending number 1 the guy loses a bit of his soul and shows us he has no dignity. He speaks to the crowd.
In ending number 2 the guy gains a bit of dignity while saving his soul. He speaks from the heart.
It really does not matter what the issue is the outcome will always be the same under these circumstances.

For those not familiar with how the "Woke Culture" movement has become a dangerous global cult that is unashamedly okay with beheading anyone who disagrees with them, the following article should alert you to the fact that this is not a silly little movement supported by a few fanatics that will quietly fade away.
I think this thread is a great idea to help raise awareness of the woke cancer plaguing societies and destroying families, friends and livelihoods in its wake. The woke culture have an impenetrable ideological fortress that protects them from seeing the insanity and madness in their actions. We need all the tools we can think of to crack into zombieland.

Sen. Scott: ‘Woke Supremacy’ is Just as Dangerous as White Supremacy
BY MASOOMA HAQ March 10, 2021 Updated: March 10, 2021
Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has denounced the current left-wing attack on black conservatives and a focus on being “woke,” saying the concept is harmful and as detrimental as white supremacy.
“Woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy,” the South Carolina senator said Monday evening in an appearance on “Fox News Primetime.”
Host Trey Gowdy called out and condemned MSNBC host Joy Reid for her attacks on Scott because of his support for conservative policies.
Gowdy, a former Republican congressman who is also from South Carolina, was reacting to a recent segment from Reid in which she made a comment about Scott as being “token” and a prop to show that Republicans have a “patina of diversity.”
“Tim Scott is too good a man to respond to this. I am not,” said Gowdy.
“Tim Scott was one of three U.S. senators chosen to work on the tax reform legislation, because he made himself an expert on the issue, not because he’s black.”
While Scott and other conservatives believe being “woke” by judging people on social justice trends is dangerous and divisive, many on the left celebrate being “woke” as a moral obligation.
In 2017, a group of prominent female activists, including Reid, gave an interview to Essence Magazine on what “woke” means to them. Reid said people who are “woke” have to take opportunities to fix any perceived injustice they see around them.
“The thing is to do that, knowing that you can fix it whatever your level or platform is, because there’s always an opportunity for you to do just a little something to support [those who are disenfranchised],” Reid told Essence.
Shonda Rhimes a television producer, screenwriter, and author who is best known as the executive producer of the medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” said being woke “means that you recognize that the world is not a simple place, that everything is not all equal, that justice has not happened yet for everyone, and that there is a lot of work to be done.”
Linda Sarsour, a controversial Palestinian-American activist, said that “woke” means being “outraged” all the time.
“For me, it is just being outraged all the time and being able to stay human and feel outraged about the injustice that is happening around me,” said Sarsour.
Meanwhile, former president Barack Obama, in a 2019 interview, criticized the idea of being “woke” as judgmental and not truly being able to bring about change.
“[There is] this idea of purity and you’re never compromised and you’re always politically ‘woke’ and all that stuff. You should get over that quickly. The world is messy. There are ambiguities. People who do really good stuff have flaws,” Obama said.
“There is this sense sometimes, of the way of me making change is to be as judgmental as possible about other people and that’s enough. Like if I tweet or hashtag about how you didn’t do something right or use the wrong verb, then I can sit back and feel pretty good about myself because man you see how woke I was. I called you out,” added Obama.
The following quote identifies the arrogance in the woke culture and explains why the woke culture is permeated with arrogant undertones. These people think they are the only one's who have worked out that the world is full of brutal injustice and inequality. They feel empowered by this knowledge and happily spit on anyone not recognizing injustice the way they have been socially engineered to. It's why those that were heavily red pilled many years ago have very little tolerance for the infantilizing within this movement.

Yep well said. Irony, humor, and sarcasm confound and aggravate the woke. They don't understand any of it, the one dimensional bots that they are. So we must use it as liberally as possible. It's one of our greatest weapons. It's why humor, as an art, will be one of their next targets. Along with nuance and context, it is viewed as a tool of "colonial whiteness".
Here's one such humorless lunatic, reacting woke style to a bad Dad joke. A must see, really. It is absolutely riveting:

GayBCs’ LGBTQ Alphabet Book Is Pure Child Grooming Material (7:14 min)

Woman has little boy read 'The GayBCs' — a children's book
with terms like 'bi,' 'coming out,' and 'queer.' And the reaction is swift.
'This is full-on abuse’

article (https://www.theblaze.com/news/video-little-boy-reads-the-gaybcs)
A video of a woman having a little boy read from "The GayBCs" — a children's book that uses letters of the alphabet to introduce readers as young as 4 years old to LGBTQ words — has been making quite a stir on social media.
POLL: What scares you the most?
What are the details?
The video begins with the little boy reading aloud the word for letter A: "ally." Then the woman with him is heard introducing the rest of the letters, beginning with "B is for" — and the tyke answers "bi."
While some of the words don't possess immediate LGBTQ connotations — H is for "hope" and M is for "mountain," for instance — others like "bi" hit right at the heart of it. And little boy with his cute little-boy voice reads all of them:
C is for "coming out."
D is for "drag."
G is for "gay."
I is for "intersex."
L is for "lesbian."
N is for "non-binary."
O is for "orientation."
Q is for "queer."
T is for “trans."
As you might expect, some folks wondered why a kid so young was being introduced to such words:
1366146582014550019
https://twitter.com/DianneLester/status/1366146582014550019
Others seemed just as disturbed:
"iight folks, it's been real but I'm done with this planet," another commenter wrote in reaction to the clip. "Taking the next Elon Musk spaceship to Mars so we can start over."
"What the actual f***," another user declared.
"Why is this necessary?" yet another commenter asked.
"I'm gay & ... KIDS SHOULD NOT BE TAUGHT ABOUT SEX. PERIOD," another user noted. "Doesn't matter if it makes YOU feel better. Is P for pedo? S for sodomy? I'd object to a kid learning an alphabet of diseases, too. It's called preserving innocence."
"My 6 year old reads at a 3rd grade level and does not know half of these words by design," another commenter said. "This is full-on abuse. But those of us that do not perpetuate degeneracy can still do our jobs. Pull your kids. Vet their social circle. It's the very least you can do."
But not everyone was upset
As you might imagine, others were fully supportive of the little boy being introduced to LGBTQ words:
"I don't get what homophobic people find so toxic with videos like this," one commenter said before mocking detractors. "Wow the child is probably gonna grow up to be respectful that people can be different in many ways; omg I can't believe it, this is brainwashing!!"
"In the past if you read an ABCs book, it might've had B for boy with the color blue and G for girl with the color pink, until you associate the color with the gender," another user noted. "Familiarizing children with gay, trans, and non-binary things is the exact same thing. That isn't brainwashing."
"It's teaching kids that other people and minorities exist," another commenter wrote. "Trying to imply this is wrong is only implying that children should only grow up to misunderstand and be ignorant of other lifestyles ... perpetuates a problem; that is what we already have with ppl misunderstanding us."
There’s more on the pages
The below video shows a woman reading each page of "The GayBCs" — and there's more text below the introductory lines noted above.
For instance, after "B is for 'bi'" the text reads, "You can shout it out loud. I like boys and girls, and that makes me proud." After "G is for 'gay'" the text reads, "It's word that implies you're a girl who likes girls or a guy who likes guys." And after "L is for 'lesbian'" the text reads, "It's love and affection between two special girls who share a connection.”

George Floyd settlement: $27 million approved
by Minneapolis City Council
By FOX 9 Staf
March 12, 2021
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - The Minneapolis City Council unanimously approved a $27 million settlement Friday in the civil lawsuit brought by the family of George Floyd. The vote was 13-0. The settlement includes $500,000 to be spent on community efforts near the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, which has become known as George Floyd Square.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, City Council President Lisa Bender, City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins and Council Member Jeremiah Ellison will join George Floyd’s family at the 1 p.m. news conference.
George Floyd settlement makes history
Attorneys for the Floyd family touted the $27 million settlement as "the largest pre-trial civil rights wrongful death settlement in U.S. history." Ben Crump released the following statement:
"This historic agreement, the largest pre-trial settlement in a civil rights wrongful death case in U.S. history, makes a statement that George Floyd’s life mattered and by extension that Black lives matter. It sends a message that the unjust taking of a Black life will no longer be written off as trivial, unimportant, or unworthy of consequences.”
The civil complaint in the death of George Floyd made note of other cases of excessive force involving the Minneapolis Police Department, including the deaths of Justine Ruszczyk Damond, Jamar Clark and Terrance Franklin. In 2019, Justine Ruszcyk Damond’s family settled a civil lawsuit with the City of Minneapolis for $20 million, making it the largest police misconduct payout in Minnesota history.
The largest publicly-disclosed settlement in a case involving police killings is a $38 million award to the family of a 23-year-old Maryland hairstylist Korryn Gaines.
More recently, the family of Beonna Taylor was awarded a $12 million settlement.

Sam Smith excluded from gendered categories at 2021 Brit awards
Solo male and solo female categories mean no room for chart-topping non-binary singer, who calls for awards to reflect society
Sam Smith, the pop singer whose gender identity is non-binary, has been excluded from the gendered categories at the 2021 Brit awards.
The awards system has maintained its usual artist categories, with prizes for British solo male and British solo female. That means there is no room for Smith, who uses they and them as their pronouns since coming out as non-binary in September 2019. They said at the time: “After a lifetime of being at war with my gender I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.”
...
A Brit awards spokesperson later responded, saying: “Sam is an extraordinary British artist and we agree with what they have said today. The Brits are committed to evolving the show and the gendered categories are very much under review. But any changes made to be more inclusive need to be just that - if a change unintentionally leads to less inclusion then it risks being counterproductive to diversity and equality. We need to consult more widely before changes are made to make sure we get it right.”

A bi-racial high school senior, who can pass as white, was allegedly failed by his teacher after he refused to confess his 'white dominance' during a class at his Las Vegas charter school.
William Clark received a failing grade in his Sociology of Change class after he refused to categorize and label his racial, religious and sexual identities, according to a press release from Schoolhouserights.org, which supports civil rights litigation in defense of students' freedom of conscience in public education.
According to a lawsuit filed by his mother, Gabrielle Clark, in December 2020, William is described as having 'green eyes and blondish hair' and 'generally regarded as white by his peers’.
His mother is black and his deceased father was white, according to court documents.

Oof, Mike. I get it, but those people are doublespeak ridden degenerates, I wouldn’t go mirroring them, with or without a wink..

Well you're cancelled then:)
The thread has organically evolved a little from just the apology thing to other very important, shameful activity surrounding the woke phenomenon - like the info Paula shared for instance - that people really need to know about (and funny, spoof type stuff like Nat's video). Quite a few people are still in denial about how insane this stuff is, so I like to think that this can be a place to collate and educate, in an ironic and humerous way because that's my style. Plus this way i don't have to start a new thread every time something annoys me.
This is an important piece of info here. It's just as the title suggests ("Woke Language Police Want Children To Avoid Saying 'Mom' and 'Dad'.) The words "Mom" and "Dad" are next up for cancellation. This is no joke!

At this point I simply don't care what mainstream society is claiming, saying, doing anymore. And I place as much value on the opinion of celebrities, pundits, media, as the contents of the average sewer pipe. Public discourse has lost focus, lost grip, and no longer has any meaning or any use. Society is paranoid, incoherent, delirious. I have cancelled myself from it to go my own way.

CNN HOST Don Lemon has insisted children need to be taught that Jesus
was a black or brown person, as part of a cultural shift in our education system.
"I think we should start with a true depiction
of what Jesus looked like," Lemon said on The View.
https://i.imgur.com/ZoDfqcj.jpg
"And that is as a black or brown person, rather than someone who looks like a white hippy from Sweden or Norway," adding once this is understood, it will help break the "spell" of racism in the country.
The anchor was promoting his new book, 'This is the Fire,' on the talk show when co-host Meghan McCain asked him about his inspiration from James Baldwin, with Lemon saying the title came from Baldwin's novel 'The Fire Next Time.’
Like Baldwin advocated for, Lemon said "we have to come together and be willing to fix this thing and I do believe that.”
But the CNN host said he wrote the book after this summer's fervent protests against police violence based on racial discrimination.
"People ask me all the time, especially young mothers, especially my friends who are young white mothers, they say what can I do? How can I fix this after George Floyd?" Lemon said. "I don’t have the vocabulary to teach my kids. What can I do?”
He said that this prompted him to write the book, and added that there needed to be a cultural shift in what is being taught to children in the United States.
"I thought about that a lot and I offered some advice. And that’s what the book is about," Lemon said. "That's one of the reasons I wrote the book.”
"But I really do think that we have to start, as I said earlier in the show, we have to start teaching the true history of this country, the history that African-Americans brought to this country."
He added that history and cultural teaching must also be brought to how religion is taught to children.
"And we also have to start being realistic about God and the Bible," Lemon added. "And If you are a person of faith in this country, and we know America is built on faith and religious freedom, a good way of starting is to present the true identity of Jesus.”
However, that depiction of Jesus is incorrect, Lemon said.
"And I think we should start with a true depiction of what Jesus looked like and put that in your home, either a Black Jesus or a Brown Jesus," he added.
"Because we know Jesus looked more like a Muslim or someone who is dark, rather than someone who is blonde or a blonde-looking carpenter.”

"I think we should start with a true depiction

"And that is as a black or brown person, rather than someone who looks like a white hippy from Sweden or Norway,"
Sounds a bit racist to me. How does he know? The 12 tribes of Israel were ethnically diverse for a start. Judea was home to the Samaritans and Gentiles too. But even the Jews themselves were divided into many sects. For example a Galilean Jew was very different to a Jew from Jerusalem. What's more, Judea was a Roman province in the first century. It contained such cities as Tiberias, Sepphoris and Caesarea, all Hellenistic centres.
Basically, the region was a mixing pot of religions and cultures and ethnicities. As we don't know the family tree of Jesus, it's impossible to know what his ancestry really was. It could be anything.
Ultimately, Jesus and Christianity was adopted and then embraced by Europe - not Asia, not Africa, and not by the Jews (at all). Renaissance painters thus depicted Jesus as a naturalized European. Fair? Probably no, but understandable. However, it is claimed by some Biblical scholars that Joseph may have been a Roman soldier. So there's that to take into account. It is also claimed by multiple, multiple spiritual/psychic sources [here's one recent thread (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?108725-Akiane-Kramarik-an-unbelievably-gifted-young-artist)] that the flesh and blood Jesus was indeed fair of skin, and had bright blue/green eyes.
But who cares what skin tone Jesus had (evidently Don Lemon does - why?) Infinitely more important is Jesus's message. If Don Lemon was actually worth a lemon, he would be espousing the lessons that Jesus taught: brotherhood, sisterhood, cooperation, empathy, and love. Instead, it's Identity Politics. It's Race. Un-****ing-believable.

There’s so little actual racism on this planet that they need to do manufacturing like this. The demand, the supply of racism doesn't meet the actual demand. So they're going to have Don Lemonettes go out there and say the craziest **** the craziest rhetoric in an attempt to get people to scream at them so they can cry there’s the racism everybody.

You do know there are quite a few genealogies in the scriptures including one for Jesus Christ right? I often wondered why they were there and my position is God put them there for a reason. I got an answer years after I began pondering knowing I could not even pronounce the names in the event of a test or something for entering into eternal life. We are meant to know who we are and why we are the way we are.

Paula, colorful language is welcome in this thread:) Please keep the salty cracker coming. It's good stuff. I think saltiness and irreverence are often the only logical replies to the absurd.
And his point is a very good one. There's a very obvious social engineering project in play that is manufacturing racism out of thin air (and transphobia, and gender tension) and when people angrily point that out their anger is used as proof of the original accusation. And 'round n 'round we go
That's mostly what the culture wars are, in my strong opinion - a manufactured farce. It seems blatantly obvious to me.

There is a very real LARP aspect to all this woke nonsense as well.
I never thought I'd ever spend more than 2 seconds of my life talking about 'The Bachelor', but it's a good case study. When this young woman (Rachel Kirkconnell) - who went to the old south antebellum party - apologized for the 4 billionth time on the latest episode, the bachelor was *still* unwilling to accept her apology, saying he "wasn't ready yet". He sat there and acted as if this woman had shot his dog. It was astounding. Just a year ago the antebellum thing would have been a non issue, but today this soulless narcissist is acting like the whole thing is too painful for words(and he has the balls to actually tell her that she "has alot of work to do")
KRWxCRK7M1U
And the point is this: the young woman did nothing wrong, so her apology will be forever empty, no matter how many times she utters it. And she hurt nobody with her actions, so there's nobody that can really forgive her. It's a pointless exercise in sadomasochism. It's shame-fetishing to the 10th degree. It's pageantry. It's an act. It's a collective act that our insane world has agreed to participate in. A LARP essentially.
The bachelor, Matt James, initially defended the young woman (Rachel). But when he saw an opportunity to gain attention and martyrdom thru the victimhood dance, he started dancing real quick. No one called him out on it. Everyone just played along. Matt James knows it's a farce, Rachel knows it's a farce, and the people watching know it's a farce. But no one says so. They all play along. Why?
Oh, before I forget: Matt James and Rachel Kirkconnell, you are both newly minted members of the Woke Wall Of Shame:

The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison apologises for ‘perpetuating racism’
after ‘defending’ Rachael Kirkconnell’s ‘racist’ behaviour
https://i.imgur.com/smMkqVl.jpg
In a lengthy post shared to his Instagram on Wednesday evening, the 49-year-old profusely apologised after controversially asking fans of the dating series to show ‘compassion’ and ‘understanding’ towards the 24-year-old rumoured winner of Matt James’ season. Admitting that he should have been ‘better informed’ on the situation, Chris wrote: ‘I have this incredible platform to speak about love, and yesterday I took a stance on topics about which I should have been better informed. ‘While I do not speak for Rachael Kirkconnell, my intentions were simply to ask for grace in offering her an opportunity to speak on her own behalf.’
Chris continued to reflect on his actions, adding: ‘What I now realise I have done is cause harm by wrongly speaking in a manner that perpetuates racism, and for that, I am so deeply sorry.’ On Tuesday, Chris spoke about Rachael’s racism scandal with Rachel Lindsay – the first Black woman to be appointed The Bachelorette in 2017.
The presenter drew fierce backlash after claiming that Rachael was ‘being thrown to the wolves’ despite newly emerged photos that saw her in attendance at an ‘Old South antebellum plantation-themed fraternity party’ in 2018. Rachael has also been at the centre of claims that she bullied a schoolmate for dating a Black man and has been accused of cultural appropriation and supporting those who believe in Donald Trump’s MAGA sentiments.
https://i.imgur.com/hpsTzfl.jpg
Meanwhile, Chris continued to reflect on his choice of words in his grovelling social media note, saying: ‘I also apologise to my friend Rachel Lindsay for not listening to her better on a topic she has a first-hand understanding of, and humbly thank the members of Bachelor Nation who have reached out to me to hold me accountable. ‘I promise to do better,’ his post concluded.

Putin Challenges Biden to Live Debate After Recklessly Being Called a Killer

Okay. All right. You’re gonna attack this man that way? This man walked right into North Korea! He didn't need the 30 000 troops that Joe Biden needs in Washington, DC to walk into North Korea.
But okay. All right. You guys going to call this dude out? Biden now has an antagonizing posture towards Russia. So much so that they just yanked their ambassador. I mean holy **** it's escalating. Cancel culture claiming a new victim. Teen Vogue editor-in-chief, Alexi McCammond forced out just days before even starting her new job after staffers revolted over derogatory tweets she wrote 10 years ago when she was a teenager.
I've worked with her for four years. She doesn't have a racist bone in her body. If we can’t as an industry accept somebody’s sincere and repeated apologies for something they tweeted when they were 17 years old. I mean what are we doing?”
There's no denying we are in the craziest period period culturally. If an apology is not enough, what is enough? I'd ask the Gods of Cancel Culture if you can't apologize and be forgiven, what do they need to do? What are the next steps? Is it public flogging?
It does seem like the left are starting to eat their own. And that’s usually signals the end of something like this. I have a feeling canceled culture might be winding down and cultural revolutions that usually indicates that time is running out.
We predicted this would happen. Remember how okay it was when it was only white people getting canceled? But now you have a young black talented woman getting cancelled. Is this practice still worth it? Is it still worth it if you could take down 10 other white people but you have to sacrifice one young black woman who probably doesn't deserve it?

Guest arrested days after appearing on the show (2:31)
A couple of nights ago we spoke to a woman called Marlena Pavlos Hackney. She's a restaurant owner from Michigan. She came on the show to tell us how authorities in Michigan, the governor and the attorney general were trying to send her to jail for running her business.
Marlena Pavlos Hackney is in jail. She was arrested very early this morning, before 6 a.m by police, taken away in ankle shackles and wrist cuffs. One of the few people in this country gets up really early to go to work because she really cares trying her very hardest.
They sent her away for longer that people who commit gun crimes in Detroit get. We're told she will be in jail for 93 days unless she pays a $35,000 fine and the Michigan Board of Health deems it safe for her to be released.
Attorney General of Michigan issued a press release bragging that she had been arrested like some dangerous felon had been pulled off the street. The county judge who did this defended the arrest saying that she has put the community at risk. We're in the middle of a pandemic.
By the way, they presented zero evidence that she had any role in the pandemic. None. No scientific evidence whatsoever, but they want you to know that defiance is the real crime. So people can come here from foreign countries, rush the border, sent out with no penalty whatsoever, whether or not they have covet doesn't matter. They're not even tested. They go right into your neighborhood. Nobody cares. But if you try your level best, your hardest to run a business and do the right thing, you go to jail.

*slowly puts clothes back on*
Not very different really, you have to do the public walk of shame before everyone forgets about you and what you did...
Praise the Dark Lord i don't have to suffer through that stuff where i live right now :P
People are so conditioned, they turned into a self governing body, everyone one watches over each other just hoping to find a mistake, in a lust for blood rampage.
I guess they are so miserable they must fight hard to find any possible mistake or wrong move by someone else, to cause as much pain as possible and eat up the other person's soul pain. Like soul vampires, the most pain they can cause, they happier they will be next day, and if the other person offs themselves, i guess that's optimal.
That's how it looks like, eating someone else's pain keeps you from having to suffer your own, so everyone who found this out is now on a crazy zombie like rampage on the streets, trying to eat other people's souls

Will they ever learn? Politicians continue to flout lockdown rules.
The bottom line though is that what happens to Governor Newsom and John Kerry
is very different from what happens to average folks.
California governor, Gavin Newsom telling his residents that he knows all about being a remote parent, even though his kids have been in the classroom and private school since November. And special presidential envoy for climate, John Kerry caught maskless on a plane. He said it was just for a few minutes but some calling the hypocrisy just plain wrong.
Gavin Newsom was eating at that restaurant despite his orders that other people shouldn't do it.
https://i.imgur.com/oAgoq1H.jpg
Americans have just about had it with the hypocrisy of those people who who create these dictates and then refuse to follow the dictates themselves.
This started with Nancy Pelosi a maskless Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done in violation of California laws when every business was shut down. Democrat mayors and governors then over the holidays telling their constituents not to travel, not to gather yet doing that very same thing themselves.
I think the thing that for voters is going to be etched in their memory is that Governor Gavin Newsom can't feel their pain when a single mom is trying to juggle her career while teaching her kids at home. You have the president of the Berkeley teachers union dropping his daughter off at private school, yet saying it's not safe for teachers to teach in public schools.
The bottom line though is that what happens to Governor Newsom and John Kerry is very different from what happens to average folks. We have many examples:
A family with that was kicked off a plane because their two-year-old wasn't wearing a mask.
A 65 year old woman in a Texas bank was wrestled to the ground, handcuffed and dragged out of another private setting like American Airlines, who was told to put a mask on in a state where it's not mandatory.

Joe Biden should fire John Kerry for being a maskless ‘neanderthal’
Who’s the “neanderthal” now?
https://i.imgur.com/LAyGjnu.jpg
Photos show presidential “climate envoy” John Kerry going maskless in a first-class plane seat on an American Airlines DC-Boston flight Wednesday. The passenger in the next seat thinks it was while Kerry was making several work calls before takeoff.
We must’ve missed that exception in President Joe Biden’s week-one executive order requiring masks for interstate travel and letting TSA agents bump maskless travelers.
But this is John “Do you know who I am?” Kerry, so we guess he’s above the rules.
Kerry’s smug, privileged behavior is exactly what Biden has been railing against since before he took office. He even chastised governors’ lifting of mask mandates as “neanderthal thinking.”

That's their right as heir to his work. Whatever else may be going on there after they made that initial move, need be a separate slice of that story pie. Dr. Seuss was not just attacked out of the blue by an angry mob.
They weren't attacked out of the blue, correct. They were attacked in a very deliberate, methodical way, until they had no choice but to do what they were being pressured to do. Do you think Dr Seuss Enterprises decided one day that the books in question hadn't aged well or do you think the decision was made for them in some way? Because for 70 odd years they published those books without questioning them at all:)
This is the issue: whether something is appropriate right now according to the arbitrary, rapidly changing morality bar of the moment isn't the point, if it ever was. The issue is that a mob of bitter and angry people have recently acquired the power to have metaphorical book burnings under the auspices of a flimsy morality, presumably because they know what's best for us and our children. We have historical precedents for this type of behavior, and it never goes well...EVER.
What's acceptable morally in a society is something that evolves over time, and is often desirous and good for all, but only if it is a natural and organic process. What's happening now is far from that; what we see now is aggressive social engineering by mostly radical ideologues drunk with power looking to exert their influence while the going is good.
All reasonable people know that the attitudes of people from 50 or 100 years ago are not necessarily going to be morally commensurate with our current standards. One problem is that there are so few reasonable people left. Another is that when a new bar is set, you have to wait for people to catch up before you go tossing them in the drink. And when that new bar is set, and mutually agreed upon, you don't go throwing history down the Orwellian memory hole. It's foolish for about a billion reasons. We'd have to start a whole new thread for that alone.
If we are going to use current standards to judge our past art and music and literature, it will be a bar set so low that nearly everyone who existed before us will trip over it. It's arrogant and ungrateful beyond belief.
I'm reading Hemingway at the moment, 'The Sun Also Rises'. He's already dropped the N-word about 6 times, and I'm only on page 40. Shall we cancel him? I recently listened to a John Lennon interview he did with Rolling Stone in the 70's, and I lost count of how many times he said the word "fag". Should he be cancelled as well? If so, why? And who decides? And under what rules? And across which dimensions? If someone says or does something deemed inappropriate by current standards 100 years ago, are they, say, half as responsible as someone who did the same thing 50 years ago? Can we solve it arithmetically like that? I'm not being silly - if this is the game we're going to be playing now we have to have these questions answered.

Jay Leno apologizes for all the Asian jokes he's made over his career.
Gee whiz, the timing seems awfully suspicious. Did he just suddenly grow guilty about it all now? During a spat of violence against Asians here in America? Hmmm...
I'm not surprised by any of this. Ever the conniving weasel (one only has to recall the Conan O'Brien debacle) Leno is trying to get one step ahead of the woke mob. It amuses me in a way. It's like watching someone who is really drunk trying to convince a police officer that they're not drunk by offering vertigo as the reason they can't touch their nose. It doesn't work, it's never worked, and yet people will still try.
As far as the jokes themselves: if Leno spent his entire career, night after night, trolling Asians mercilessly that would be one thing. But he didn't, of course. And it must be said that he was, as we all know, the host of The Tonight Show, where jokes are generally G rated for the most part.
There is some truth to some stereotypes. Otherwise the stereotype wouldn't even exist in the first place. A mature society recognizes this and is able to laugh at those stereotypes if the jokes are presented in a skillful way by a good comedian.
Unfortunately, at the moment, we are a society of whiny infants who take the most harmless of jokes deadly seriously. Leno feels the climate of the room and is apologizing retroactively in order to stay out of the woke doghouse, and that's all there is to it.
So..Jay Leno, you gutless whiny bitch, I'm pleased to welcome you and your chin to the Woke Wall Of Shame:

The audio of student/teacher interaction begins @58 seconds (https://youtu.be/V-Oc2S_sdTE?t=58).
A teacher from a school in Virginia was caught on camera criticizing
a student for taking a colorblind approach to a class assignment.
https://i.imgur.com/PQz2U4G.jpg
Student: Well I'm confused. Are you trying to get me to say that there are two different races in this picture? Well at the end of the day wouldn't that just be feeding into the problem of looking at race instead of just acknowledging them as two normal people?
Matt Walsh: This is what brainwashing sounds like in real time. The only difference between that and most public school brainwashing is that in this case the student had the wherewithal to resist it. Now consider that most kids not even kids but all people, adults too, don't really possess the critical thinking skills and backbone necessary to defy a perceived authority figure in that way. And they especially are incapable of thinking and acting for themselves.
Also notice the nature of this brainwashing. The students they’re not just being taught to believe something like to believe a certain proposition, to accept certain facts, to remember certain bits of data., rather they're being told how to think. The teacher is telling them how to see other people.Think about that he wants to change the way they fundamentally view other human beings. And he wants to do this because he subjectively, personally thinks that people should see other humans this way. This is apparently how he sees other people judging them by their race first and foremost. and his mission now is to get the kids brains to work the
same way.

UK Government Minister Says People Should “Call Out” Others
For Hugging Their Loved Ones
https://cms.zerohedge.com/s3/files/inline-images/290321hug1.jpg?itok=tvJA8Hta
A government minister appeared on morning television to urge Brits to “call out” others if they were seen engaging “in an odd way,” such as hugging their loved ones.
Yes, really.
Nigel Huddleston, the UK’s minister for tourism and sport, made the remarks during an interview spot on BBC Breakfast.
“Despite the temptation, please don’t risk the health of your loved ones by actually hugging them,” said Huddleston, before going on to suggest that people should intervene if they witness such dreadful behavior.
“If you see someone behaving in an odd way then call them out on it”
“We all know the rules…if you see somebody behaving in a slightly odd way, then maybe call them out on it in a respectful way, because sometimes some people just forget,” he added.
Huddleston said it was “a little bit awkward” to refuse close physical contact but “in these circumstances it’s the right thing to do.”
Twitter users reacted to the minister’s comments with a mixture of disbelief and scorn.
“Hugging someone is odd? Christ we’ve been taken over by the Borg. Can imagine the lunatics taking photos of busy play areas now walking round with megaphones ‘calling people out’ Smiling face with open mouth and tightly-closed eyes,” said one.
“Odd behaviour as defined by year – 2019: Someone looking shady, potentially holding or carrying a suspicious package, with likely terror related intentions 2021: someone who hugs a close friend/relative,” said another.
Others were defiant in saying they would hug their loves ones, with one remarking, “I’m seeing my kids next weekend for the first time since the end of December! Wild horses wouldn’t stop me hugging them!”
The minister made the remarks on the day that lockdown in England took a further step towards easing, with people being allowed to meet outside in groups of up to six people.
However, as we previously highlighted, other public health officials have asserted that social distancing and mask wearing will continue for years no matter when the pandemic is declared to be over.

As I was getting ready for the day this morning, for some reason an image of Peter Pan searching for his Shadow popped into my mind.
After thinking about why that particular image came to mind, I concluded that it may have something to do with the inability of many today who simply cannot face their own Shadow, and so are hysterically projecting their own darkness onto the world.
Peter's shadow was extremely willful and troublesome, doing all sorts of nonsensical things while it was unattached to him.
I think it's a pretty good metaphor for the insanity of the "Woke".
Let's hope they will soon take responsibility for, and own their Shadows, before it's simply too late.

“If you’re vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms that you have.”
We have to make it clear to them that the vaccine is the ticket back to pre-pandemic life. And the window to do that is narrowing. You mentioned, Chris about how all these states are reopening.
They’re reopening at 100%. We have a very narrow window to tie reopening policies to vaccination status. Otherwise, if everything is reopened, what’s the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine?
So that’s why the CDC and the Biden administration needs to come out a lot bolder and say, “If you’re vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms that you have.” Because otherwise people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway.

"A new genre of video is cropping up about the microscopic black strands that are being found in both the swabs used in COVID testing and in the disposable face masks.
Seeing these strands, I was reminded of the strange microscopic objects that have been found in skin lesions of those suffering from Morgellons disease.
What’s even creepier is that these strands exhibit the characteristics of very small-scale micro-robots, in that they move in response to heat and moisture. Are these approved swabs and masks being used to deliver synthetic biology into their human hosts? Is that why Joe Biden issued an Executive Order that disallows bandannas on public transport, in favor of Chinese PPEs?"

So when we look at these police officers, they’re bing told across the country that they are the problem. While emptying the prisons, and getting rid of qualified immunity so they can get sued on top of it.
When they decided to reimagine it, then crime is going out of control. Shootings happened, people being stabbed. You can’t go on a subway anymore. People want to walk the street or their kids to walk to school.

WATCH: Pastor Kicks Out Officers From Church on Easter Weekend (3:40 min)
A pastor in Canada had cops show up to his church on Good Friday to shut it down. He handled the situation perfectly, and we need to see more people like him.
“The Pastor is not gonna have the conversation with with her (police). He’s saying just get the hell out. We’re not talking about this. I’m not going to explain to you why I have the right in my church to worship. I’m not gonna debate it with you.
I love that pastor. We need about a million more of him. That’s what we need if we had a million more of that guy, we'd be in good shape.”
History has taught us, “I’m following orders” that is not an excuse. It’s not a moral justification. We learn that from the nazis and from many other historical examples. You follow that order, I know it's difficult. You could lose your job. Who knows what else could happen, but when you're told by your superiors, “We need you to go shut down this church on Good Friday,” your answer should be “Hell no. Not going to happen.”

Family HARASSED On Flight Over Maskless Child (4:32 min.)
A family with a two-year-old and a special needs child was kicked off a Spirit Airlines flight. They were eventually let back on, after going through all of this rigmarole and humiliation. That doesn't make this okay to harass a family. This is evil behavior. And what I hate the most about it you can hear the flight attendant there saying, “Hey, this is the policy. There’s nothing I can do about it. I don’t like it either.”
Having these people hide behind policy while they're harassing families who aren't doing anything wrong, insisting that they muzzle their young children for no real medical reason, just do it because it makes everyone else feel more comfortable allegedly. And they hide behind the policy.

INSANE: Teenage Girls Charged With Murder Get Lenient Plea Deal (7 min)
https://i.imgur.com/KYvlYYQ.jpg
Two girls charged with murder have reached a ludicrous plea deal with prosecutors. The two girls tried to carjack a man's car—which led to his death—but they aren't going to prison.
“The 13 and 15 year old girls taser 66 year old Muhammad Anwar. They drove off with him hanging out of the car. They flip the car send him hurdling across the pavement, bleeding and dying and their concern was for their cell phones.
On Monday, the teens reportedly reached the plea deal with prosecutors that would ensure that they will not be held past the age of 21, nor be placed in a prison facility. So they carjacked a man and murdered him and they're not going to spend a day in prison. They’ll be totally free to go by the age of 21. Which means for the one girl in six years she’ll be free.
Now you have to ask. This girl who murdered a man at 15 and cared so little for his life, that the only thing she was worried about was her phone, do you think six years from now she is she's gonna be magically a better person and less of a danger to society?
Ansg9pE6UOk
{snip}
…Well something similar happened last week, at least in spirit: in Washington D.C. 2 teenage girls used a stun gun on a Pakistani uber eats driver, and stole his car while he clung to the side of it, eventually flipping and crashing it and killing the man in the process. Video shows that after the whole event took place, the 2 teen girls in question were only concerned with the whereabouts and potential damage done to their cell phones...nevermind that there was a mangled and soon to be dead man lying on the pavement not too far from them.
{snip}
The D.C. mayor, Muriel Bowser, in an act of unprecedented tone-deafness, casually tweeted out some trite thing about preventing auto thefts...saying nothing about the man who had been killed: Muhammed Anwar
This has become kind of a plague in D.C., these armed carjackings, and multiple teens have been arrested as a result, some as young as 13 and 14 years old.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Border Patrol agents this week rescued two children who had been abandoned along the border near Jacumba in southeastern San Diego County.
Agents spotted a man and woman walking just south of the border with two children around 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Border Patrol's San Diego-area office. The pair hoisted the children over boulders in an area where the border wall ends at the side of a mountain abutting the boulders.
Agents found the 6-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl alone and crying, Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Jeff Stephenson said.
The children were taken to a nearby Border Patrol station, where they gave agents a handwritten note that had their mother's name and phone number, Stephenson said. The siblings also had their mom's name and phone numbers written in marker on their forearms.
Agents contacted the mother for additional information regarding the children. The siblings will be transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services, Stephenson said.
"It is unconscionable that anyone would abandon these small children and those responsible for smuggling events like this will be aggressively prosecuted," Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke said. "Thankfully, our agents were able to quickly rescue these siblings.”
To report suspicious activity to the Border Patrol, contact the San Diego Sector at 619-498-9900.

RACIST HOSPITAL WILL PRIORITIZE WHITE PATIENTS LAST (9 min)

A Boston hospital is set to offer preferential care to patients based on race. The proposed “pilot initiative” uses a “reparations framework” that focuses on “Black and Latinx patients and community members” and prioritizes their care.
The authors of the program insist that the Boston initiative be a “replicable pilot program” to be launched in hospitals across the country.
Brigham and Women’s Hospital hospital says it will offer “preferential care based on race” and “race-explicit interventions” in an attempt to engage in an “antiracist agenda for medicine” based on critical race theory.
A Boston Review article titled “An Antiracist Agenda for Medicine” lays out a plan from Brigham and Women’s Hospital that implements a “reparations framework” for distributing medical resources in order to “comprehensively confront structural racism.”
“Together with a coalition of fellow practitioners and hospital leaders, we have developed what we hope will be a replicable pilot program for direct redress of many racial health care inequities,” Harvard Medical School instructors Bram Wispelwey and Michelle Morse wrote in the article.
Dr. Bram Wispelwey, and Dr. Michelle Morse, both of whom teach at Harvard Medical School, have called for the allocation of medical resources to be done on the basis of race. And hereto another one of the biggest problems we're having to contend with on top of everything else: the lack of humour (humor) that's all pervasive at the moment - the one talent we have has a species that singles us out from all the others in the cosmos.
The ability to laugh at ourselves seems to be being squashed out of us. It's all too serious right now.
So, after having watched this (again) earlier today, here's some self deprecation to further lighten things a little:
The episode was called "Agenda for Murder", where Lt. Columbo tells the following joke to the suspect:
"There was this Jewish lady walking down Beverly Drive, and coming the other way, this flasher guy in his overcoat. When he gets up to her, he whips open the coat. She looks at him and says, 'You call that a lining?'"

From the Huffington Post: "Pop singer Demi Lovato Slams Yogurt Shop For "Triggering" Products"
https://pagesix.com/2021/04/19/demi-lovato-calls-out-froyo-shop-for-selling-sugar-free-options/
This narcissistic freak Lovato called out a small business because they carry "sugar free" options. Seeing the labels was "triggering and awful" for her, as she is in recovery from an eating disorder...which apparently is everyone else's problem now too, including The Big Chill, a Los Angeles based frozen yogurt shop.
"Finding it extremely hard to order froyo from @thebigchillofficial when you have to walk past tons of sugar free cookies/other diet foods before you get to the counter. Do better please," she wrote on instagram.
So I guess all ice cream and yogurt shops must now rearrange their stores and/or completely change their labeling because of this self-obsessed creature.
She included the hashtag #dietculturevultures, which she said she'd be using to call out "harmful messaging from brands or companies that perpetuate a society that not only enables but praises disordered eating."
I'm speechless. All I can say is that I'd love to duct tape this weirdo to a chair and pelt her with sugar free doughnuts until she begs for mercy.
The Big Chill sanely pointed out that many of their products are suited for diabetics and those with celiac disease, but this didn't move Lovato, who replied, "Don't make excuses, just do better."
Is it just me, or does anyone else here want to mush her face into a sugar free cake and just hold it there for a bit, till you feel her panic and struggling to breath? Just me? Ok.
Poor Demi was so traumatized that she left the shop without her frozen yogurt and then "had a hard time the rest of the weekend."
Awwww....
Oh, but she redeemed herself finally by offering to work with the store to "adjust its messaging". How noble.
It's my greatest hope that they tell Lovato to go f#ck herself.

The title of this article is appropriately incoherent: Demi Lovato Says They Are Non-binary And Are Changing Their Pronouns
And here's the first sentence:
Singer Demi Lovato has revealed they are nonbinary and are changing their pronouns, telling fans they are "proud" to make the change after a lot of "self reflective work."
Were you an alien who had just landed on earth, you would be forgiven for thinking that the writer of this article perhaps got drunk and just passed out on their keyboard, producing the gibberish you see above. That is, if you were an alien that understood proper English.
Every time this thing utters it's drivel, I feel like a lesser person for having heard it. It's like my soul is being ripped apart by narcissistic piranhas. What's even more disheartening are all the soulless automatons that humor this freak show, and imagine they're exhibiting some form of progressive intellectualism by doing so. It wasn't enough to attack a mom n pop yogurt store on twitter; it wasn't enough to declare herself queer; it wasn't enough to declare herself gay; it wasn't enough to declare herself bi; it wasn't enough to declare herself poly...well poly whatever the f#ck it's called...because now she's shamelessly returned yet again for her 5000th curtain call, declaring to the world in a fittingly weird video that she is now "non-binary", and has changed her pronouns to "they/them".
The title of this article is appropriately incoherent: Demi Lovato Says They Are Non-binary And Are Changing Their Pronouns
And here's the first paragraph:

A while ago you mentioned we should have a rant thread. We really should. My sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internet. Anyway, there's some truth to the following.
Has Alyssa Milano been mentioned here yet? That's one big dummy if I've ever seen one. She lives in a pretend world, she doesn't understand reality. She doesn't stand by what she says, she doesn't believe in anything except annoying the rest of the world. Mrs. Anti Police/Anti Gun/Pro Erase Border Milano should live with our friendly neighborhood moderator Karen for a while. The measured tactful me wants Karen to have a nice chat and demonstrate other ideals that I think Alyssa is overlooking while the ranting me wants to see Karen grab her by the shoulders, shake her and say, "Open your eyes you stupid bitch!"
I would also like to nominate myself into this Wall of Shame. I have this bad habit of finding morons and lurking their content and getting myself angry. I watch sovereign citizen and amendment auditors (aka morons) among other fools on youtube and elsewhere. It bothers me how popular they can be, although it is relieving to see their videos mirrored and the rest of society dogs them out for being the stupid bastards they are.
I basically dived head first into the seas of irrational retardation, subsequently discovering my addiction for annoying myself, during cooking of all things. I like having the TV on in the background. I'd put on Christian Broadcasting Network and listen to their nonsense. I'm fascinated in balls to the wall crazy, and it could be found there. One minute Pat Roberts is condemning everyone who's psychic and the next he's using his God given psychic powers to heal people over the TV. Who needs doctors? Just call my boy Pat. Pat's got your back, and remember every donation counts.
So yeah, I need to stop annoying myself by watching numbskull self proclaimed first amendment auditors and sovereign citizens and just stick to documentaries and puppy videos.

Demi Lovato reveals she has brain damage from 2018 overdose
LOS ANGELES -- Demi Lovato’s drug overdose in 2018 resulted in the singer having three strokes and a heart attack, leaving her with physical limitations that still affect her.
Lovato reveals publicly for the first time details about the near-fatal incident in “Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil,” a four-part docuseries debuting March 23 on YouTube Originals.
In the trailer, Lovato says doctors told her family she had five to 10 minutes to live.
“I was left with brain damage, and I still deal with the effects of that today,” she said in a video call on Wednesday. “I don’t drive a car because I have blind spots in my vision. For a long time, I had a really hard time reading. It was a big deal when I was able to read a book, which was like two months later, because my vision was so blurry.”
Lovato said the lasting repercussions “are still there to remind me of what could happen if I ever get into a dark place again.”
The 28-year-old singer, who sported pink hair on the call, has been working since age 10, when she appeared on the TV series “Barney & Friends.” She went to rehab for the first time at 18, after struggling with bipolar disorder, anorexia and bullying.

Oh yeah, I share that addiction Strat. I don't quite feel alive unless I'm sufficiently annoyed. I'll even confess to occasionally wishing we still had some trolls around here to poke at. I enjoy the challenge of a worthy opponent (and sometimes a not so worthy opponent). If you sanitize an environment too much it can get a little tedious. It's a tough balance.
If I'm feeling too good, or peaceful, I tend to get suspicious. As in, what am I missing here? It makes me feel soft, unmotivated, fuzzy, warm, overly agreeable, weak etc. So my goal most days is to introduce some degree of conflict into my life. I actually think it's a healthy practice, if done in the proper doses. But what do I know? Maybe I need therapy, like so many ex girlfriends have firmly suggested. I don't go seeking drama, and I don't manufacture it, but I will seek out someone or something I can't stand and aggressively dislike it for a few mins here n there. And if I can tell them how much I dislike them, and why, I feel pleasantly satisfied for a few hours.
I hate seeing bad things happen to good people. It makes my solar plexus feel like it's been tumbled 'round in a dryer. I just hate it. But nothing makes me feel better than seeing someone who deserves some sh!t getting it in full force, especially if I can participate in it somehow. It's thrilling. It's partially why I suggested the rant thread; even if our targets aren't aware of our rants, at least we've gotten it out of our system.
Some alien races refer to us as mere "containers", and before I feel offended by that I have to remind myself that people like Alyssa Milano exist on this planet, quite a few actually, and then I have to wearily concede the point. When I consider Milano and all the squawking subnormals like her, "container" reveals itself to be an overestimation actually. Her and her bleating tribe of hypocritical cretins make the illuminatti depopulation agenda seem reasonable.
Having said all that, I did jerk off to her vigorously as a young kid, and perhaps owe her some form of gratitude..to give the devil her due

At the risk of sounding unfeeling, I must confess to not really believing a word of what she says. I know she's had some substance abuse issues, but the stuff about the 3 strokes and the heart attack, I think it's all bunk. I'd have to see some documentation of that.
One stroke is enough to cripple the average person for life. Same with a heart attack. But 3 strokes and a heart attack? You're cooked after that. Dead. And if you do survive, a vegetable. Nothing she says makes sense but she delivers it effortlessly and without any sort of obvious physical impediment. That seems damn near miraculous considering her claims.
I think it's all an attention grab. She's sick alright, just in ways there's no medicine for. It's a narcissistic soul rot. And it's contagious, sadly.

Make A Wish Foundation Will Only Grant Wishes To Fully Vaccinated Children
The move by the Make-A-Wish team is troubling to hear, considering all of the children who receive wishes are terminally ill and are already being pumped with multiple medications daily. Adding an experimental vaccine on top of numerous medications could end up be life-threatening.
https://www.guardiangazette.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2021/06/shutterstock_1822234832-696x464.jpg
The Make-A-Wish Foundation’s CEO Richard Davis in a recent video announced that wishes will only be granted to terminally ill children who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Previously, the charity declared that there would be no wishes granted that involve air travel or large gatherings; now, they have reversed that decision and decided only children who have been fully vaccinated for more than two weeks will be granted wishes.
The CEO said the Make-A-Wish team made their decision to resume wishes after they consulted with doctors and the CDC. Davis also went on record to say family members also have to be vaccinated.
Make-A-Wish grants terminally ill children “wishes,” which are opportunities for children to asks for anything they want to do and the Make-A-Wish Foundation will grant that request.

What if the wish is to not be jabbed? It appears that any such wish will not be granted. Unless, maybe. you get the jab, but then you had the jab, so how could your wish to not be jabbed be granted?
Maybe they'll grant another wish.
I have a wish. I wish that Make A Wish Foundation would not require children and their families to get the jab in order to make and receive a wish. But, I don't qualify to make a wish.

Two-Year-Old With Asthma Thrown Off American Airlines Flight
https://i.imgur.com/Sb6Ne31.jpg
September 15, 2021
Another chapter in our volume of stories on two-year-olds being thrown off airplanes for not being able to keep on a mask. The twist this time, however, is that the child suffers from asthma and his mother tried very hard to keep it on. In attempting to balance competing policy concerns, I maintain that more mercy should be shown toward young children.
The incident occurred on September 13th onboard American Airlines Flight 1284 from Dallas (DFW) to Colorado (COS). According to Amanda Pendarvis, mother of two-year-old Waylon, after pushing back, a “truly evil, power-tripping” flight attendant noticed the child was having trouble keeping his mask on and demanded that the captain turn the plane around in order to kick off the boy and his mother. On Instagram, she noted:
“He got on the intercom and to say to the entire plane, “I’m sorry for the delay but we are dealing with a non-compliant traveler…
“I was not refusing a mask, nor did I even say I wouldn’t try to keep a mask on my son. We were escorted off the plane as I was holding a mask over his little face. I genuinely don’t have words.”
Waylon suffers from asthma and this was his first time wearing a mask. While American Airlines does offer a disability exemption, as required by federal law, it requires passengers to obtain one in advance. The Penarvis family did not.
An American Airlines spokesperson noted:
I”Initial reports indicate the party refused to comply with crew member instructions to remain seated and wear a face mask securely over their nose and mouth. After agreeing to adhere to federal face covering requirements, all individuals were rebooked for travel on the next flight to Colorado Springs.
We were not privy to the interaction between the flight attendant and Penarvis family. Therefore, I will exercise caution before condemning the flight attendant as being overzealous. Certainly some will defend him for simply doing his job.
Stories like these draw my attention not so much because I believe that children cannot receive or spread COVID-19, but because I maintain that in a complicated world, rules must bend at times. Compassion is a public health concern as well. While the child may have put others at risk by not keeping his mask on, there was a very clear and apparent health risk at play: he could not properly breathe with the mask on.
Thus, it becomes an issue of bureaucracy. Kick the family off because they didn’t fill out the form before? It is in these cases that I would interpret exceptions to the rule more generously, on compassionate health grounds.
Satori

There is no justification for throwing the baby and mother off the plane. The bottom line here is not science or medicine and protecting the health of others. The bottom line is to assert total tyrannical power and control over everyone and quash any “opposition”, even when there is a compelling rational basis for what the controllers will label opposition. The mother’s unforgivable sin was not groveling for permission first. No exceptions. You cannot grovel for permission later.

Parents Read From ‘Pornographic’ Books Assigned To Kids, Sue District
At a school board meeting, a group of angry parents read aloud from erotic books assigned to students. However, they didn’t end their efforts there. The parents decided to sue the district and took steps to recall the board members.
A group of parents decided to battle Virginia’s Loudon County School District and put an end to the ultra-progressive curriculum. While the district was already in trouble for pushing the radically racist Critical Race Theory, parents discovered that their children are also being fed violently and sexually explicit materials.
During a Lound County School Board meeting, parents lined up to read several “pornographic” excerpts from books assigned to ninth graders. Some of the passages described x-rated encounters between children while others narrated disturbing acts of domestic violence, kidnapping, and torture.
The passages were taken from Tiffany D. Jackson’s Monday’s Not Coming, a social justice novel praised by Publishers Weekly’s “An Anti-Racist Children’s and YA Reading List.” The book details children performing sex acts on one another, some within the classroom.

So sad it's come to this. The following is a summary of Joe's 10min clip. And as much as he's holding his ground, whilst showing support to Spotify for choosing him over the others, he does agree to a few minor compromises.
What stuck in my craw was choosing to tell a story about being a 19yr old security guard at a Neil Young concert. When fights broke out Joe would put up his hoody, cover his security credentials, and leave. He was not about to get beat up for fifteen bucks an hour.
This day, the security guards had to go and put out Bon fires on the lawn area, but when brawls started Joe said, f*uck this I'm out. I think his story is a significant telling that he's not prepared to die on the Covid hill or get involved in a "brawl" with other celebrities.
It's a tough one, but like you said Mike, he should have just walked away from it all in silence... like he did when he was 19... because the media are twisting his statement and deleting a sh!tload of traction in the process.
Perhaps it ain't over yet. Maybe Joe can make a come back on this topic if the media get too cocky.
https://www.instagram.com/tv/CZYQ_nDJi6G/?utm_medium=share_sheet
. He is a fan of Neil Young and is sorry he and his entourage left, he didn't want that.
. He reinforces the credentials of the Professionals he interviewed.
. Does not agree we should only listen to one group of professionals.
. Reminds every one that a lot of supposed conspiracy theory, that got people instantly banned a year ago, is now fact. He gives two examples - masks and spreading Covid when vaxxed.
. He likes the idea of Spotify putting up a disclaimer on some content when it is contrary to consensus opinion of experts.
. He offers another compromise by suggesting he should have consensus experts come on his podcast after controversial ones.
. He explains that his podcasts are just live conversations and that's the appeal.
. He thanks Spotify for all their support throughout this ordeal.
. Sucks up to the people that crapped on him by telling a story about how much he loves Neil Young and Joni Mitchell's music.
. Doesn't know what else he can do. Will try to get more research done before the shows. Then says he's not trying to be controversial. He never planned anything and can't believe the podcast is as successful as it is. It all started just messing around and talking with friends and then other people wanted to join in.
. He pledges to try and balance out the controversial perspectives so we, (being Joe and his audience), can arrive at different perspectives and try and figure out the world; and not just on Covid stuff.
. It's a strange responsibility to have this many listeners and he wasn't prepared for it. He just wants to create interesting stories.
. If he's pissed anyone off, he's sorry, and if you enjoy the podcast, thank you. Thank you Spotify, thank you supporters, and thank you haters because it's good to reassess perspectives.

The mistake he makes in the video is trying to mollify and reason with these fools in an attempt at collegiality. They don't want to be friends, they don't want to talk, they don't want to meet in the middle, and they don't even want Joe Rogan to have a voice. None of that is negotiable. They feel entitled to their demands.
He's already fallen into their trap. Their suggestion that he is dangerous and unreasonable has him on his heels. The video is a demonstration that he's neither of those things; he's trying to show them with his body language, word choice, tone, inflection, and so on that he's none of the things they're accusing him of. He's trying to prove something to them, and by doing so he's already ceded a position of strength.
He doesn't have to prove anything. But Joe, being a naturally agreeable and reasonable man, tries in vain to use those very things to reach these profoundly disagreeable and unreasonable people. It's the classic example of a strength becoming a weakness. There's some naiviete there as well, and likely some pressure or sense of obligation towards Spotify. So there a few things at play here.
I can say all these things as an agreeable person myself. I'm guilty of those things. And with all that money in play, there must be alot of pressure on Joe. Easy for me to criticize from the sidelines - I know! - but it doesn't make me any less right. The greatest challenge for a grounded, reasonable, and agreeable person is to know when none of those things will work for you and will in fact be weaponized and used against you. In those types of situations and with those types of people you have to learn to aggressively break character and in no uncertain terms say F#CK OFF.
And that's what Joe should have done.
Telling fanboy stories about Neil Young and Joni Mitchell was a dumb thing to do. You're never going to win them over. They're infected with that sinister brand of self righteous stupidity that's taking over the globe at the moment.
I still like Joe and I'll watch his podcasts just like everyone else. I'll even listen to Neil Young. Harvest Moon is brilliant. I like to have a bit of fun in this thread but I'm not a canceler by nature. I'm aggressively anti authoritarian, and that's what this is all about ultimately. But it'll be interesting to see how Joe reacts when he sees what type of reaction his mea culpa invites. Will he double down on the olive branch approach or will he snap out of it and tell these idiots to f#ck off? And what will Spotify do? Will they crumble under the pressure? Let's see what happens

I gotta disagree with you a bit. I do agree that the folks that hate him are, well, brain washed emotional non-thinking followers for the most part. I think 90% of people who hate him and suggest that he's a nazi and gives a platform for them or he's anti vax or he's this or that have never watched his podcast. He had Rosa Parks' mugshot in the background for years for christs sake. His opponents are not free thinkers or open to debate, they just want to whip out the ban hammer.
Ultimately he's just a dude with a podcast and people can't accept that. This especially pisses off the media and it's why they constantly go after him.
Where I disagree with you is that I don't think he's employing any strategy, he's not using any body language or anything. He's just being himself. Just saying his message, shrug his shoulders and move on. I'm the same way in life. He's freakishly confident and comfortable with who he is and when that's part of your character then you have zero desire to tell someone to **** off. Younger Joe would tell him to but older Joe is much more tame. I doubt he sat back with a PR and debated how to respond. I think he has a life to get to and isn't too worried about the podcast. He comes from a humble background and now has f you money.
And Spotify doesn't have an opinion IMO. They are a pimp and they follow the money. When Joe stops bringing in an audience they will give him the boot for some self righteous reason.

Right, I don't think he spent much time strategizing. And he was just being himself. Agreed. That's why I suggested he should have aggressively broke character there. In his natural state Joe is very grounded, reasonable, rational, and agreeable. And that has made him tremendously successful. 95% of the time it works for him. But his agreeableness in particular here backfired on him, in my view.
Even as I'm writing these posts in this thread I'm battling my own emotional side that kind of agrees with your take. It feels good to reach out, it feels good to extend the olive branch, it feels good to apologize. I want to get lost in the feelgoodedness of it all and hope for a kumbaya moment for all parties involved. I really dislike being so cynical. It doesn't feel good. I think Joe is similar. But there's a time and a place where you gotta go cold and hard and break character. This was one of those times imo.
I did watch the video. He apologizes at the end to all the people he's "pissed off". Ouch. Bad judgement there!
When I say he should have told them to f#ck off, I don't mean in some performative way, or to start a silly Twitter war or something. I mean he needed to hold ground and make a statement...a statement that demonstrated his resolve in the face of this type of nonsense. As I said earlier, this is like blood in the water. The sharks will be arriving soon.
He didn't soften his enemies up, he just created more enemies. By showing a willingness to apologize to the mob he opened the floodgates.

In all honesty I think Joe Rogan knows far more than he lets on. I also think he understands how brainwashed and ****ed the American people are as a whole.
I'm of the opinion that Joe likes to appear as near the baseline as possible in terms of where the public is in their understanding of what is going on with the country.
Joe is captivating in his role as the every day man who appears to punctuate his face with understanding and revelations as some of his more controversial guests enlighten him and the American people along the way.
It's kind of like the device Socrates uses.
Socrates doesn't usually monologue or soap box but rather he asks questions that lead to answers that allow him to build to more pertinent questions. In Rogan's case his guests are providing a foundation of knowledge for later guests to build upon.
Rogan knows the danger of coming off like Alex Jones, and he needs to avoid this at all costs.
In the face of the current controversy he is foregoing the battle in my opinion to help open the eyes of those witnessing this all out attack by the establishment.
I think he is doing this to help illustrate how the establishment attacking him is losing all credibility in their over the top censorship attempts.
By not fighting them he appears reasonable, sincere and most importantly not a threat.
He is by all accounts a victim.
Ironically enough in this victim culture the establishment has created this could allow him to alter the perceptions of those still sleeping as they identify with the guy being attacked.
I'm with you Mike, I want to see him go on the offense more, but Rogan isn't really fighting like Alex Jones is, throwing haymakers, instead Rogan is playing the tactician. He needs to survive this all out attack so he can rope a dope his way back to interviewing guests who will again fire up his offense.
If Rogan stays the nice guy stoner comic he is and not the expert or source of the information that is under attack he is simply exercising free speech by interviewing the guests who will do his fighting for him.

I'd never really thought of it like that Marcus. That's a damn interesting take there.
I think we're all playing roles and are employing various social strategies, some more conscious than others. I'm fully aware of when I'm falling into a role, for example, but it's generally not something I've pre planned. It's habit and instinct mainly. The degree to which I'm consciously responsible (or anyone is) is tough to determine sometimes.
Sometimes I don't think at all because I know that thinking will make me too self conscious when I'm trying to do something. But I am at least dimly aware of what my motivations are. Maybe Joe is like that. I dunno.
The stoner/comic thing does work to his advantage. He's a very smart guy, but he can always fall back on the stoner/comic thing when he wants to shed responsibility for getting something wrong maybe, or to deflect pressure. And then, when it's convenient for him to be intelligent Joe again he does that. It's all timing and strategy, but although I'm sure he's aware he's doing it I doubt he gives it much conscious thought
Re interviewing guests that will do his fighting for him: yeah well said. And I think it's true. Pretty smart too!

Silence is a brutal punishment. They don't put criminals in solitary confinement for peaceful time out.
My ex husband would frequently use silence treatment to punish me or force me to do things his way. Last time he did it to me was for three weeks. So I left.
I agree that Joe should have gone silent and ignored this power play though.... when they were effectively spitting the dummy and giving him the silence treatment.

Never thought I'd do it, but I'm symbolically canceling Joe Rogan.
Say it ain't so Joe...
After Neil Young and Joni Mitchell left Spotify in protest over Rogan's "dangerous misinformation" re covid, vax etc, Rogan made an Instagram video apologizing and promising to "do better" in the future.
Have we learned nothing in the last couple years? Sigh..
There's really only one correct answer to all this if you're Joe Rogan. And that is this: F#ck you Neil Young. F#ck you Joni Mitchell. Go f#ck yourselves.
Anything less is grossly inappropriate. Or just say nothing. Why dignify those fools with the energy?
I'm really disappointed in Joe. The blood is in the water now. Watch closely for the sharks in the following days and weeks here
Watch what rogan himself said, don't listen to what the media reported him saying. Rogans response was flawless.
I listened to every word. Did you?:)
This is an extremely powerful post, Mike. This is a lesson for the entire human race. If you don't feel you can discern who is who, just ask yourself, "Is the person making demands, willing to discuss this?" Someone with a legitimate concern should be willing to debate or discuss their grievances. Specifically, in this case, what kind of misinformation? Why do they believe it is misinformation? Would they be willing debate, since it is Joe Rogan?
I can't help but wonder if they simply can't hear that maybe their choice to take that injection wasn't as safe as they thought. They are used to be able to have people around them agree with them, either because they pay them or they are in awe of their "celebrity" status(no matter how old and worn it is). They leveraged their perceived entitlement and products so that no one can publicly state on a large venue what they don't want to hear. Something that compromises their perceived safety. Never mind that Jonie Mitchell is still a die hard smoker......
So this is not about discussing, or being specific or getting to facts, this is a entitled, financially well off person believing they can get away with having an adult tantrum and threaten to take their toys away if the game can't be played the way they want. The solution is not to placate someone that resorts to these tactics. Let them take their friggin toys and go home. Being willing to do it their way or partially change the game that the majority wish to play to placate the pouty one is not seeing the long term ramifications of placating this type of behavior.
Tyrants and bullies always want more because internally they will never feel "safe" enough.

Rogans response was flawless.
I am going to agree with you 100% on that one Strat. I think his response was :sun:B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T:sun:. An ingenius, diplomatic move on his part. :highfive:
The mistake he makes in the video is trying to mollify and reason with these fools in an attempt at collegiality. They don't want to be friends, they don't want to talk, they don't want to meet in the middle, and they don't even want Joe Rogan to have a voice. None of that is negotiable. They feel entitled to their demands.
I think the mistake would be to climb on your high horse and engage Rogan's critics who are clearly on their high horses. What will that that accomplish other than the creation of even more sound and fury, and intensifying the feelings of self righteousness on both sides of the pro/anti Rogan fence.
I've seen social workers interact with irrational and emotional people, and telling them the unvarnished truth never accomplishes a thing. However, having some humility (even if you are the sane one) and talking to the other party (who is insane) as an equal, and with respect, and giving them some validation for their behavior and gripes .... GETS RESULTS! It's time to stop the war and start the diplomacy.
Rogan did not apologize for "spreading fake news" or "being anti-science" or "having liars on his show" or any of the other crazy things he has been accused of. In fact, I am not sure exactly sure what his apology is for ... and it is brilliantly vague but looks oh so heart felt. I think Rogan genuinely wants to be someone not seen on the left or right, just someone who wants to move the conversation forward. Perhaps he is sorry that he doesn't have the people on the pro-vax side of the fence in his audience and is reaching out to them. He neglected to interview the kind of people they want to hear from. And now he is so sorry. (Pass the Kleenex please.)
Maybe he should invite Sanjay Gupta (conventional provax doctor from CNN) back on the show. Maybe he can get him to address some of the issues Malone addressed on the show. He might even let Gupta score some points and validate his criticisms. Perhaps he could even get Gupta to debate Malone. Now that would be real progress! And if Gupta or others like him don't' want to come on the show, then that will just demonstrate even better how morally self-righteous and stubborn the pro-vax-everyone crowd is and marginalize them and make them more irrelevant.
The sit-on-your-high-horse way of doing business isn't doing anyone any good. Glad we have people like Rogan moving things forward. If there is anyone who can change hearts and minds, it might be him.
Mike

Chris I'm not on any high horse:) I'm not piling on with the critics. Joe's critics are glad he apologized! I'm a Joe fan. I'm just pointing out that he made a crucial error in judgment. I'm not suggesting we should all abandon him now or anything. I still think he's great! But he royally goofed up when he apologized and promised to "do better" in the future. That's textbook bowing down to the mob language.
The difference between your situation as a social worker and the situation with these authoritarians is that you're not a multimillionaire podcaster and they're not trying to deplatform you. You can point to many situations where diplomacy and reason ultimately saved the say, but my whole point is that you can't negotiate with the mob. Diplomacy and reason will only leave you vulnerable. Humility will only invite more aggression with them. Notice how none of them even offered to talk to Joe. They just delivered ultimatums. That says it all right there
Bullies don't respond to humility and reason. It just emboldens them. They'll follow you to the ends of the earth tormenting you till you finally turn around and punch them in the face. I fear that Joe's reaction will only encourage more authoritarian bullies to bring him down
I like Neil Young btw. And Joni Mitchell. I wish she and Young and Joe could find common ground and be buddies and do some podcasts together. I'd love to see that! But it ain't happening brother. You cannot emotionally bargain with or appease these people in any way. It's a sad reality. I don't like it. I wish I was wrong! But it is what it is I'm afraid

It appears to me that Rogan was really trying to apologize to his golden goose, Spotify. He made that apology abundantly clear. While he was at it he started t throw apologies around like Trump throwing around adjectives such as hugely or perfect. It was overkill and unnecessary.
I like Rogan, this has not put me off of him but I am afraid we have not seen the end of this story. When the cancel culture senses a bit of weakness they will not stop. It may take days, weeks, months or even a year or two but they will stay on Rogan until he caves or says screw you. He would have been much better off saying nothing or telling them to go to hell.

Pam you nailed it. Updating one's thinking often requires a certain brand of courage many won't attempt. Especially if that update involves something like questioning the medical establishment. Because if the medical establishment is corrupt, what else is? That's how the thinking goes I think. It represents a kind if existential crisis, and very few want to grapple with that. They know it will turn their reality upside down. Being emotionally unprepared or unwilling to face that creates a kind of addiction to the false narrative they've been telling themselves all along, and that's where the irrational behavior kicks in

Dramadramadramdramdram....
Sound and fury signifying?
The drum beat, the drum roll, the drumming in the ear, beating for nothing.
We who are about to die, wonder
Is anything about ALL this that we have created of any value?
The cacaphony of all the voices bleating.
While the drum keeps beating.
Dramadramdramdram.
Sick unto death we are.
But all in all,
Even if we were born a star
We'd blink off one day.
Live now.... while we may.
How DO we live?
All the stories and the characters and the war.
It seems a shame.
WE created a whole world of seeking fame
Glory riches and the acquistive frame
Where we lack for wisdom
WE HAVE DRAMA
Is our dramdramdrama enough?

Back home in Syracuse, many years ago, my friend Jay and I would occasionally hang out with some of the semi pro hockey players (Syracuse Crunch). One was named Zenith Komarniski. Good guy. Made it to the NHL eventually. Had stints with the Canucks and Blue Jackets.
Anyway, when we first met Zenith, my friend Jay kept calling him "Sven".
I didn't quite catch it at first. Between the alcohol and the loud music in the club, it was hard to hear anything. But then I noticed, and so did everyone else. Jay is an anxious, nervous guy and always yapping, so it was hey Sven this and hey Sven that. It was so silly that no one corrected him for a while. Some of us were amused and some a little embarrassed for him. Zenith initially thought he was the butt of a joke or something, and to his great credit smiled along with each "Sven" that came his way.
But after a while he began to get annoyed. He tapped my arm at one point and said, "Is Jay taking the piss or what?" I assured him it was drunken forgetfulness but he didn't look convinced. Zenith is a big tough guy so it was getting awkward.
Long story short I spent the next hour or so correcting Jay every time he gaffed. (Dude, his name is Zenith!) And it really was a gaffe. He may have been on drugs or something, I don't know, but he just couldn't get the guy's name right. After apologizing 4500 times to Zenith, Jay finally began getting his name right. But no more than 15 mins later he f#cked it up again. Jay was making a trip to the bar and he wanted to know who needed drinks: Mike, a beer? Lenny? Chris can I get you anything? Sven how about you? Need a top off?
Sven. It sounds nothing like Zenith! It's so preposterous that all these years later I still think of it out of the blue and laugh

Bullies don't respond to humility and reason. It just emboldens them. They'll follow you to the ends of the earth tormenting you till you finally turn around and punch them in the face. I fear that Joe's reaction will only encourage more authoritarian bullies to bring him down
I agree with this in real life scenarios but on the internet this has the opposite effect. Hence the phrase 'don't feed the trolls.' So any form of attack on them would make it worse IMO.
I suppose I can see no response being the best response but not the proverbial punch to the chin.

I get the strong feeling that someone very close to Joe Rogan has been threatened in some way to ward him off, lets face it if Joe suddenly got run over or shot in a "robbery" NO ONE would believe it was anything but an assassination.
As for internet "attacks" it's now gone off the scale, even The Times has the most obvious, lame, BS hit piece on him, in fact it's that bad you have to wonder if it's a double bluff & they are trying to wake people up to the BS going on. (actually now I look again they've been doing one a day ffs !)
Link if anyone's interested https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/joe-rogan-is-no-fool-but-hes-still-dangerous-ls306kjpk
If he isn't being got at then he probably needs to point out that none of those dinosaur pop stars have the qualifications his guest has, and ask why do they think they know more than he does, Dunning Kruger effect & hubris aside.

Check out what Orwellian tyrant Jen Psaki is saying here..
There is an overt and well documented unholy alliance between the US government and big tech now. When she says "more can be done" what she means is that Joe shouldn't be able to have any guests on that divert even an inch from the mainstream narrative.
They're going after Rogan and Spotify hard now. Not just the Twitter mob and the msm, but the US government as well.

re bolded above...
I don't think they want any 'mainstream narrative' pushers to go on his show either who could end up hoisting themselves on their own petard, so to speak, as he gives them the warm, respectful but very sussed treatment... in an informal 3 hour softly softly interrogation... Joe Rogan style.... :)..... I think many of the liars and 'normies' are too scared to go on already...
and 'they' are going all out doing a 'persona non grata' on him IMO...
who from the mainstream will want to go on and risk being ostracized by their cult - the mob - ?
they probably shuddered with fear when Joe innocently(?) said one of the things he could do would be get less controversial viewpoints/guests after more controversial ones.... haha...
hopefully the whole thing will backfire and increase Rogan's audience...

Joe Rogan did and said nothing wrong in his apology or his podcasts, but he deviated from the official narrative and so, must be canceled.
It's a great example to all of us: don't ever apologize to those who are working hard to destroy you.
Last count I saw had over 100 podcasts removed from Spotify.

If I was Joe, I wouldn't tolerate that. He should say: remove one more of my podcasts and I'm leaving. And if you don't let me out of my contract I'll make this hell for everyone.
Here's Patrick Bet-David explaining why that might be a good thing. He's encouraging Joe and Elon Musk to partner up and basically say f#ck everyone, we're doing things exactly the way we want to and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
I think it's an excellent idea!

Who do these people think they are?, and what God given right do they think they have to share complaints? I've been following that because I'm a typical person who loves drama and yet claims not too hyuck hyuck. None of it really bothered me, everything they say is to be expected, same with us here. We're not angels either. Well, Fred referring to Gracy in the third person is strange. Anyway, only thing that pissed me off is when Frank said (I paraphrase) that our care for Malisa is fake. Speaking for myself, I want an apology. I forgive Fred and all the back and forth nonsense but that comment about who I care for is low. I haven't been mad at an internet comment in a long time but that genuinely pisses me off. What you want to do to Vangelo or whoever it is is what I want to do to you for that comment.
I'll get over it, but unless he apologizes I'll never communicate with him again. I don't want to hang around assholes because their **** will rub off on me.
EDIT: Honestly, I'm not sure if I forgive Fred either. Takes time I suppose. I definitely don't trust him in the least. I recognize that I'm definitely not perfect and I guess I have soul searching to do?

No one likes ridiculing these people as much as I do, but that was hard to watch! It's hard to watch people embarrass themselves like that, not because you necessarily care about them but because then you feel embarrassed too. There's regular old embarrassment and then there's the transcendent variety...and it's quite contagious.
I watched that video feeling embarrassed the whole time while also thinking that technically this was unfair...I'm not the one humiliating myself in front of the world, she is...so why do I so keenly feel all the things she should be feeling but is too dumb to know she should be feeling?
I would have preferred to sit back, rest my hands on my stomach and smile as another woke fool said someone profoundly dumb that I could make fun of later. But this one hurt me more than her, maybe

I do think there are good arguments for vegetarianism (or even veganism, though it's far harder for many to stay 100% healthy as a vegan) — but I'd say there's also an argument for asserting that this woman is mentally ill.

Hey Bill, I 100% agree(on your vegan/vegetarian take and the mentally ill one)
Some excellent moral arguments can be made to not eat meat. And when I hear them i'm often forced to nod my head and mostly agree, and even question my dietary approach (as a meat eater)
But WOW this woman was something else. I heard Jordan Peterson try to describe this woman's speech to Joe Rogan, and he was so overwhelmed with its stupidity that he really struggled to convey its essence. Like you he is normally very good at explaining things, so that says alot!

Yeah, it sort of reminds me of Demi Lovato blaming her bad weekend on the sugar free snacks she saw at a yogurt shop. And then telling the world about it on Twitter. I posted about it earlier in the thread.
The level of narcissism involved in that sort of thing is almost incomprehensible. It's similar here with this woman. That kind of emotionally unhinged hysteria is common among the pathologically entitled.
It's precisely what happens when one is enabled repetitively and never required to assume personal responsibility for themselves and their foibles. If you're that fragile then nothing will help you, not weight loss surgery or anything. People like her refuse to change. Instead they demand the world change to accommodate their weaknesses. We have a pandemic of people like that now in the US, and it's far more dangerous and sinister than covid.

I am surprised this article about academic wokeness hasn't made it to Avalon yet. Even the New York Times noticed how several academic journals had been hoaxed by fake intellectuals, writing really bad papers and getting some of them published. Since this is behind a paywall, I am including the whole article here, plus the Joe Rogan interview of two of the three individuals that produced this hilariously brilliant expose.

Hoaxers Slip Breastaurants and Dog-Park Sex Into Journals
By Jennifer Schuessler
New York Times - Oct. 4, 2018
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/04/arts/academic-journals-hoax.html
One paper, published in a journal called Sex Roles, said that the author had conducted a two-year study involving “thematic analysis of table dialogue” to uncover the mystery of why heterosexual men like to eat at Hooters.
Another, from a journal of feminist geography, parsed “human reactions to rape culture and queer performativity” at dog parks in Portland, Ore., while a third paper, published in a journal of feminist social work and titled “Our Struggle Is My Struggle,” simply scattered some up-to-date jargon into passages lifted from Hitler’s “Mein Kampf.”
Such offerings may or may not have raised eyebrows among the journals’ limited readerships. But this week, they unleashed a cascade of mockery — along with a torrent of debate about ethics of hoaxes, the state of peer review and the excesses of academia — when they were revealed to be part of an elaborate prank aimed squarely at what the authors labeled “grievance studies.”
“Something has gone wrong in the university — especially in certain fields within the humanities,” the three authors of the fake papers wrote in an article in the online journal Areo explaining what they had done. “Scholarship based less upon finding truth and more upon attending to social grievances has become firmly established, if not fully dominant, within these fields.”
Their project quickly drew comparisons to a famous 1996 hoax in which the physicist Alan Sokal got a paper mixing postmodern philosophy with the theory of quantum gravity into a prestigious cultural studies journal.
But while that hoax involved a single article, the new one involved 20 papers, produced every two weeks or so, submitted to various journals over nearly a year.
The authors — Helen Pluckrose, James A. Lindsay and Peter Boghossian — said that four papers had been published; three had been accepted but not yet published; seven were under review and six had been rejected.
Embarrassed journal editors quickly stamped the word “Retracted” across published papers this week, while the hoax drew appreciation from scholars who tend to be skeptical of work focusing on race, gender, sexuality and other forms of identity.
“Is there any idea so outlandish that it won’t be published in a Critical/PoMo/Identity/‘Theory’ journal?” the psychologist and author Steven Pinker tweeted.
Yascha Mounk, a political scientist at Harvard, called the hoax “hilarious and delightful” on Twitter. In an interview, he said of the authors, “What they have shown is that certain journals, and perhaps to an extent certain fields, can’t distinguish between serious scholarship and a ridiculous intellectual hoax.”
But where some saw a healthy unmasking of pernicious nonsense, others — including a number who work far from the more outré realms of the humanities — saw a sour, nasty rerun of a culture-wars chestnut that proved little more than that you can always fool some of the people some of the time.
“What strikes me about stunts like this is their fundamental meanness,” Sean Carroll, a physicist at the California Institute of Technology, wrote on Twitter. “No attempt to intellectually engage with ideas you disagree with; just trolling for lulz.”
Jacob T. Levy, a political theorist at McGill University in Montreal, said in an interview that even some colleagues who are not fans of identity-oriented scholarship are looking at the hoax and saying “this is potentially unethical and doesn’t show what they think it is showing.”
Besides, he added, “We all recognize that this kind of thing could also be done in our disciplines if people were willing to dedicate a year to it.”
The hoaxers, for their part, disputed that they were motivated by political animus.
In a joint telephone interview, Mr. Boghossian, an assistant professor of philosophy at Portland State University, and Mr. Lindsay, a writer with a doctorate in math, described themselves as “on the left,” and supportive of social justice “in the common parlance.”
As for accusations of trolling, they said the scholars engaged in “grievance studies” were the ones fanning the flames of the culture wars. Their only goal, they said, was to protect the integrity of scholarship, which they suggested was lower in the fields they targeted.
“Is it possible that people with no Ph.D. in any field could write a paper in that field every two weeks and get it published?” Mr. Boghossian said. “That’s the question I’d ask.”
The origins of their experiment date to last summer, when Mr. Boghossian and Mr. Lindsay published a bogus paper called “The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct” in a journal called Cogent Social Sciences.
The paper drew an incredulous response in the press, and critics pointed out that the journal was a marginal pay-to-publish operation that was hardly representative of the scholarly mainstream.
So they tried again, teaming up with Ms. Pluckrose, a self-described “exile from the humanities” and the editor in chief of Areo. They set out to write 20 papers that started with “politically fashionable conclusions,” which they worked backward to support by aping the relevant fields’ methods and arguments, and sometimes inventing data.
The Hooters paper identified themes of “sexual objectification, sexual conquest, male control of women, masculine toughness, and (as a minor theme) rationalizations for why men frequent breastaurants.”
The purpose of that particular paper, the three architects of the hoax wrote in Areo, was “to see if journals will publish papers that seek to problematize heterosexual men’s attraction to women and will accept very shoddy qualitative methodology and ideologically-motivated interpretations which support this.”
In “Human Reactions to Rape Culture and Queer Performativity at Urban Dog Parks in Portland, Ore.,” by “Helen Wilson,” one of their made-up researcher names, the study purported to observe dogs having sex, and how their owners reacted, to draw conclusions about humans’ sexual attitudes.
Humans intervened 97 percent of the time when male dogs were “raping/humping” other male dogs, the paper said. But when a male dog was mating with a female, humans intervened only 32 percent of the time and actually laughed out loud 18 percent of the time.
The paper’s author cautioned: “Because of my own situatedness as a human, rather than as a dog, I recognize my limitations in being able to determine when an incidence of dog humping qualifies as rape.”
That paper, published in Gender, Place & Culture, might have succeeded too well. In July, after it was publicized by New Real Peer Review, a Twitter account dedicated to mocking absurd-seeming research, journalists began sniffing around. The project was suspended while several papers were still under review or in the process of being published. The hoax was first reported this week on the Op-Ed page of The Wall Street Journal under the headline “Fake News Comes to Academia.”
Several of the duped journals have issued statements decrying the hoax. Ann Garry, an interim co-editor of Hypatia, a leading feminist philosophy journal that had accepted but not yet published the paper “When the Joke’s on You” (a feminist critique of “unethical” hoaxes, as it happens), said she was “deeply disappointed.”
“Referees put in a great deal of time and effort to write meaningful reviews, and the idea that individuals would submit fraudulent academic material violates many ethical and academic norms,” said Ms. Garry, a professor emerita of philosophy at California State University, Los Angeles.
Nicholas Mazza, a professor emeritus of social work at Florida State University and editor of the issue of The Journal of Poetry Therapy that accepted the article “Moon Meetings and the Meaning of Sisterhood: A Poetic Portrayal of Lived Feminist Spirituality” (described by the hoaxers as “a rambling poetic monologue of a bitter divorced feminist, much of which was produced by a teenage angst poetry generator”), noted that the article was based on the supposed author’s personal experience.
“Although a valuable point was learned regarding the authenticity of articles/authors, it should be noted that the authors of the ‘study’ clearly engaged in flawed and unethical research,” Mr. Mazza said.
Some critics of the exercise noted that of the journals successfully fooled by the articles, only a few, including Hypatia, have significant standing. Most were interdisciplinary journals in highly niche fields, where there is less agreement about acceptable methodologies and the standards of peer review.
The hoaxers, however, noted that even scholarship that is barely read has consequences, and that seven accepted papers in a single year makes for an impressive resume.
“Seven papers published over seven years,” they wrote in Areo, “is frequently claimed to be the number sufficient to earn tenure.”
Correction: Oct. 5, 2018
An earlier version of this article misidentified the Twitter account that publicized a fraudulent academic article about dog parks. The account is called New Real Peer Review, not Real Peer Review, which was the name of an account that was closed. An earlier version also mischaracterized the status of one of the hoax papers. The paper, “When the Joke’s on You,” had been accepted by the journal Hypatia, but it had not yet been published.

It's crazy Chris, isn't it?? Totally bonkers.
I did start a thread on that way back when, if memory serves.
All three of those people - James, Peter, and Helen - are really bright, thoughtful, and brave people. I would encourage everyone to check out their work, for what it's worth.

A strong statement had to be made against this sort of thing. So that's good.
Although this guy is a world class idiot, he's not dumb enough to not know that his hoax would have in all likelihood resulted in rioting, looting, and death had he been believed. He didn't care. It would have all been worth it to him if he got to play the hero-vicitm for a while.
He hasn't demonstrated any regret and hasn't made any apologies. The dude is a sociopath.
He's actually a good case study for this sort of thing. Narcissism and entitlement and the coddling of such - and the emphasis on victimhood and all its rewards - over the course of one's childhood and college years, all encouraged by far left radicals results in this kind of individual. Watch out though, he's just the first among many we'll hear about moving forward trying to pull stunts of this nature.
Critical theory teaches that the world is inherently racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic etc. Therefore according to its "logic" any act that that exposes or attempts to expose those things is entirely justified...even if it's a hoax. You'll notice that this guy Smollet and his supporters really and truly think he's being wronged here. It's astounding.
It's just bad all the way around, because now there will be unfair doubt surrounding real cases of racism and bigotry in the future. He just made it harder for black folks than it already is.
Kudos to the judge for being firm and handing down an appropriate punishment.

This will show those transphobes, look how they're beaten by a trans. Victory, unless you're a transphobe.
Wait, I'm being sarcastic, I'm not really a Leftwaffe. But enjoy the parody because soon satire won't exist at all ...when all of real life is this ridiculous. Now with no sarcasm I feel sorry for the trans woman who won because she didn't make the rules and she must feel isolated right now, she's a victim just as much as the other birds.

An anonymous Dartmouth Student who, we discover in the video, is a paid worker of the Democratic Party and is interviewed by James O'Keefe of Project Veritas.
If you don't have time to watch the entire video, just start at 11:14 for the final meltdown:

What I find real admirable about O'Keefe is that he isn't out to humiliate or shame the guy, just to expose him to the contradictions within his own thinking. What a great world it would be if we were all trying to do the same thing, argue not to win points or a sense of satisfaction that we are right and wrong, but patiently talk to others and force them to think through their arguments in a logical manner, while allowing them to do the same to you.
I don't really think the "Hall of Shame" badge goes to this student, but to the people who are creating and this left/right mind control that is dividing us and keeping us from seeing where the real demons in our society are.

Pop star Demi Lovato has added she/her pronouns to her Instagram account.
You will all recall, of course, that not too long ago Lovato had announced that she was changing her pronouns to they/them. Well after taking they/them for a few laps around the track she has updated her thinking. For team sanity it's only half a victory, sadly..because although Lovato has reclaimed she/her, she will still retain they/them as she moves forward in her preposterously self-indulgent, narcissistic, naval-gazing journey to "self-discovery".
How do we know whether to use she/her or they/them when referring to Lovato in the future? Do we flip a coin? Pray to the pronoun gods and wait for a sign? Well I'm not sure yet. But considering Lovato's tendency for shameless, attention hogging PR stunts, I suspect she will hold a news conference sometime soon to enlighten us all.

A Kurdish refugee has spoken of how he was humiliated when a train worker refused him entry and told him the Welsh Government’s free rail travel for refugees scheme “wasn’t for him”.
Raman, 32, came to Wales in August of 2020 after walking from Greece for 45 days.
He now lives in Swansea after being based in the Penally asylum seeker camp before he was given his refugee status in March.
His experience on Transport for Wales came when he tried to travel from Swansea to Barry where he had been offered work experience.
Raman, who receives £40.85 a week from the UK government as a refugee, could not afford a ticket so wanted to use the Welsh government's promise of free rail travel for refugees.

I hereby nominate "Gutsy" Hillary Rodham Clinton onto the Wall of Shame. There were probably numerous reasons to put her before the Wall even existed, but here is the latest one.
(Warning, the first 2 minutes may cause extreme nausea)
TYD1UzFi6Is
Many of the women featured here I do think are quite admirable, especially Jane Goodall, and they do deserve to be celebrated for the contributions they are making to the world and for doing things that their mothers could not have done in their own time. And then there is Hilary Clinton, to bask in their wonderfulness and turn it into a mantle of feminist loveliness to wrap herself in.
I do have say, Hillary also has broken a glass ceiling for woman. Before her, it was pretty much a man's domain in the world of politics if you wanted to be an architect of war, a creator of big government that serves billionaires and multi national corporations while screwing over the little people, well, you had to be a man, like Dick Cheney.
The series is a follow up on her book "Gutsy Women" which profiles both contemporary and historical women. The first woman profiled in her book is Harriet Tubman, who courageously led many escaped slaves to Canada, and who truly embodied the best of what it meant to be "gutsy" in a way that benefited humanity. On the other side of the fence, Hillary Clinton, along with Nicholas Sarkozy, was a prime architect in the war on Libya to bring about regime change. Libya was a country that had no taxes, no foreign debt and all it's citizens received free education, health care and housing. The war reduced many neighborhoods to rubble, caused social and political de-stabilization that allowed Al-Qaeda to suddenly flourish, and so much instability that slave markets were set up and some immigrants were sold into slavery.
There are few political figures you can point to and say their actions help to bring back the institution of slavery, but for Hillary to compare herself to Harriet Tubman, now that is truly "gutsy", in the most sinister sense of the word.

Sarcastically - shame on the UK for its historical climate change!
Ed Miliband, a decades old Labour MP, has found himself a new way to eek out British self-loathing... and while I'm being sarcastic I'm glad about this. Stiff upper lip and we can take responsibility for all of the western world's man-made, no person-made, climate change, which is real and not caused by space or the sun. Nope it's caused by the British.
And that's why the UK needs to pay :clapping: :highfive:
We must pay climate change damages: Ed Miliband calls for taxpayers' cash to be funnelled abroad because of our 'historical responsibility' to countries hit by extreme weather events
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11397045/Ed-Miliband-says-UK-historical-responsibility-countries-hit-extreme-weather-events.html
Ed Miliband sparked outrage yesterday by calling on the UK to acknowledge its ‘historical responsibility’ and send cash to countries hit by climate change.
The former Labour leader said it was ‘morally right’ to help places such as the Maldives and Pakistan cope with flood damage and rising sea levels.
His comments were condemned last night by Tory MPs. ‘Labour have let the cat out of the bag here as to their plans to give untold billions to countries on the premise that there is climate damage being done,’ said Craig Mackinlay, founder of the Net Zero Scrutiny Group.
‘How on earth we could be held responsible for our past, which actually gave more technological advances to the world than any other country, I find somewhat laughable.’
The row came as Rishi Sunak flew to the Cop27 conference in Egypt, where Britain is set to face demands for ‘environmental reparations’.

Afro wigs are serious business.
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A ban after midnight: Fans barred from wearing 70s 'Afro wigs' at ABBA Voyage
ABBA fans have been told they are banned from wearing 1970s ‘Afro wigs’ to the group’s virtual concert because they are ‘culturally insensitive’.
Ticket-holders for the ABBA Voyage show received an email telling them that the wigs are ‘not appropriate’ for the event.
The email states: “Many of our guests will want to get in the spirit of the show by dressing up for their visit.
“[But] please do not wear so-called “Afro” wigs.
“These wigs are culturally insensitive and not appropriate to be worn as fancy dress.

“If any guests are wearing this style of wig they will be respectfully asked to remove them as a condition of entry to the arena.’
One fan supported the stance, writing online: “I kind of love that Abba Voyage said that white people better not come in Afro wigs.”

But don't forget clowns too, who used to be an oppressed minority until everyone started culturally appropriating their behavior and values. Stealing the afro effects affects them too, people are so insensitive. It's difficult to tell who's a real clown or who is just wearing an afro to oppress them.

I hearby nominate the School board for Erindale Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario.
Canadian School Purges Books Published Before 2008 In Bid For 'Inclusivity'
by Tyler Durden - Saturday, Sep 16, 2023 - 09:35 PM
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/canadian-school-purges-books-published-2008-bid-inclusivity
Erindale Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, 'burned' roughly 50% of its library book, including Harry Potter and the Hunger Games series, as part of a new "equity-based book weeding" implemented by the Peel District School Board earlier this year, according to the CBC.
The board insists it was following a wider directive from the Minister of Education to make learning resources more inclusive and reflective of the community.
Yes, a library with empty shelves sounds very inclusive…
Also purged were classics like “The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank” and iconic children’s books like “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
When asked WTF, the school board has been notably evasive, refusing to address whether books are being removed solely based on their publication date. Their statement, which claims books are removed if they are “damaged, inaccurate, or not checked out often,” doesn’t check out whatsoever.
10th-grade student of Japanese descent Reina Takata worries that significant portions of her heritage could vanish with this book purge.
“Authors who wrote about Japanese internment camps are going to be erased,” she warned.
Official Backpedaling
Given the mounting backlash, Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce finally weighed in, condemning the practice as “offensive, illogical, and counterintuitive.” He has since ordered the board to cease the book removals immediately.
The larger issue here is the increasing trend of over-correction in the name of “wokeness,” often leading to the vanishing of history, culture, and nuanced discourse. At what point does the push for equity turn into a frenzy of historical whitewashing? Erindale Secondary School may have given us the answer: when you arbitrarily remove 50% of your library in the name of inclusivity, you’re probably doing it wrong.
In a quest to be more "inclusive," a Canadian school board in Mississauga, Ontario has decided to purge its library of all books published before the year 2008.

Ron DeSantis, who presents himself as a warrior against woke cancel culture, now earns himself a place in the Hall of Shame.
From Glenn Greenwald, 14 minutes.

The DeSantis administration is officially derecognizing the group Students for Justice in Palestine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Students_for_Justice_in_Palestine) from University of Florida campuses, claiming that they are giving "material support to Hamas." "Material support" is a term used to describe sending a terrorist group weapons or money, but the DeSantis administration uses this term just to voice support for Hamas, an action most people would describe as "freedom of speech" under the first amendment, whether or not that speech is liked or disliked. Also, DeSantis didn't even cite any examples of the Florida groups voicing support for Hamas, just referred to words and phrases used by members of other chapters.

This isn't meant as a shallow dig against someone struggling with their weight. It's to highlight the attempt by the woke to distort and blur lines between everything, including beauty. This is just one more battle in the assault against truth.
It may seem insignificant, but it's far from it. Accepting that morbid obesity is beautiful is no different than accepting a man can be a woman, and vice versa.
It's just one more lie we're meant to accept, and there's nothing more demoralizing and psychologically distorting than having to constantly accept lies.

I'm formally removing Winston Marshall from the Wall of Shame. He's redeemed himself.
All hail Mike the Merciful!:)
He's committed himself to speaking out against cancel culture and everything associated with it. And recently he shredded Nancy Pelosi to pieces in an Oxford Union debate. It was divine. Well done Winston:

Welcome to the Wall of Shame, you goofy little climate demons (I'm updating the criteria here to include anyone or anything that deserves to be shamed).
I think the new punishment for anyone defaming art or historical monuments should be the identical defamation of their face. You paint Stone Hedge orange, your face gets painted orange; you toss soup at the Mona Lisa, we toss soup in your face. And it all gets done publicly, to further the humiliation. And then a prison term for a year at least. Hope it was worth it..oh and don't drop the soap!

If you're not yet convinced that Gavin Newsom is Satan's spawn, maybe this will change your mind. He's just signed a bill into law that prevents teachers and school employees from telling parents if their kids are changing their "gender identity"...allowing the grooming process to continue unimpeded.
This part is cute: Newsom spokesperson Brandon Richards said the new California law will "keep children safe while protecting the critical role of parents."

I liked this thread when it was sarcastic. But I can't bring myself to be sarcastic about most of these subjects. Shame on so many it's unreal. 2020 to 2024 has been like shooting fish in a barrel for highlighting shame. If acute frustration could make my head explode then my head would have exploded by now, and I would be typing this without being able to see what I'm doing. I can touch-type, but not sure I could click the buttons with the mouse. All I can do right now is count my blessings.

I get what ya mean though. Truly. But if some level of humor/sarcasm isn't used, it just becomes another dry thread about miserable stuff. Maybe I'm deranged but I see humor in nearly everything, even if it's inky-black dark humor. There's no "ha ha" humor involved in what Gavin Newsom has done, but there's certainly some irony at the very least.
Sarcasm is also a form of ridicule, and if I didn't ridicule Newsom I'd be betraying my conscience.. which is practically begging me to do it every chance I get

Its DEI Program Despite Woke CEO, with Robby Starbuck (13 min)
RobbyStarbuck (https://www.youtube.com/@RobbyStarbuck/videos):
“The old media model where they go to the big media outlet and say we’ll double our ads, we’ll triple our ads, do not cover the story. Kill it. That used to traditionally work but the reality is very different now. There’s been a shift. I'm ideological. I want stop the crazy.”
“Harley Davidson shifted their policy. Their CEO was the first true believer we encountered at the CEO level. In fact he founded something called the B team with Richard Branson and the B team explicit purpose is to replace leaders in America and major global corporations with new woke leaders who are going to adopt a new idea of what capitalism is. There's also this whole area of Harley that we exposed were the CEO explicitly wants to destroy the old idea of capitalism and bring forward a new one. Which is really just like some rebranded form of Marxism where you have the mask and appearance of capitalism but in truth, you act as a social activism organization. So everything from A-to-Z with Harley was absolutely absurd.”
“People like him that are true believers to this idea that it is their right and their duty to shove their ideology down everybody else's throat at work. I don't accept that. I think that's not only wrong, I think it's absurd.”
“When you look at the ideology, DEI like any other sort of Marxist term it's meant to say something that it doesn't actually mean. It means something totally different. Nothing about it means diversity. There's nothing diverse about the exclusionary tactics use by the teams. Equity is a Marxist concept that is the enemy of excellence and then inclusion. I don't think very many Christians or white people or Jews feel very included in the DEI policies that are at most major corporations today. It's pretty much all catering to the radical left. And so I think for us, the key is highlighting exactly how this is the definition of unfairness.”

"Line In The Sand”
What we discovered was so shocking. Everyone's making money off of these people.
At what point do you draw the line and stop doing evil things in order to make a living?
Megyn Kelly: What is the purpose for this documentary?
James O’Keefe: I don't think there's ever been a movie like this. It actually immerses you with the cartel you take the journey the illegal immigrants take. Some of the moments in the film are almost impossible to believe are real.
We snuck into these facilities where their housing all these unaccompanied children. We went undercover into these New York City facilities, where they're giving out fake residency.
You just saw a little clip of it because I wanted to show what these people have to go through. And people say, “Well, you know, this is a humanitarian thing.“ Let me tell you it's not a humanitarian thing. A lot of those mothers were throwing their babies on the train and some of them get run over. This is gruesome.
United States government is funding this. That’s what the Mexican authorities told me. And you get to watch it in the theater like I said it's a documentary but it's unlike a documentary you've ever seen.
Megyn Kelly: Why is the United States government funding this?
James O’Keefe: That's a great question. I mean Health and Human Services is giving billions of dollars, for example, to these detention centers in Texas that most people have never heard of. We snuck into these places and we talk to these officials. Places like Southwest Key, in Texas. These NGOs (Non-governmental organization) get billions of dollars from the feds and if you stop the flow of immigrants, you stop the funding flow to these institutions. What these people all told me was it was all about the money for them. They needed these people to keep coming. They needed the children to keep getting traffic. By the way we were talking about half a million children in three years. They need the children to keep flowing so they get the money in their pocket so they can feed their family.
Megyn Kelly: One of the groups on here, you got Immigrant Defenders Law Center, the government grant is 6.6 million, salaries compensation 4 million. Asian Americans Advancing Justice government grants 39.1 million. Salaries compensation 3 million. And I'm sorry to see on here, Catholic Charities government grants for 42.8 million. Salaries compensation is 22.5 million.
Megyn Kelly: Why do they give them addresses?
James O’Keefe: I go undercover to the NGO to catch them on tape, stamping all this fake stuff. I'm outside the place asking for comment and these Ecuadorian women come up to ask if they can we speak privately. They tell me this guy is taking advantage of us. He's charging us $1,100 for asylum claims. And he's scamming us. The immigrants and the illegal immigrant told me that they're being scammed money out of their pocket.

One of the very sad things about this, apart from the evil inhumanity of it all and the suffering of the innocents, is that it is not unbelievable. In the world we live in today, it is far too believable to not be believed.

But words fail us when faced with the enormity of the abject inhumanity, such that we all frequently resort to saying “It’s unbelievable.”
