Published in Milan Italy in 1586 by Monte (Monti), Urbano.

Very cool. It's amazing that they had so much down back then. Not perfect though, clearly there is no huge landmass like that in the Arctic, all the commercial plains that fly over it would have seen something by now. Oh wait, no commercial plains are allowed to fly over the north pole.
