Not sure where this is leading to, rumours abound with all sorts...
Suez Canal: Chaos as 100 vessels pile up after being blocked by large cargo ship turning sideways
A large shipping container has blocked Egypt's Suez Canal, causing a huge backlog of cargo ships, vessel tracking websites show.
The 220,000-tonne, 400 metre-long Ever Given – a so-called "mega ship" – became stuck on the crucial East-West waterway for global shipping on Tuesday.
Traffic on the narrow waterway dividing continental Africa from the Sinai Peninsula stopped on Tuesday after the MV Ever Given, a Panama-flagged container ship with an owner listed in Japan, got stuck.
The Ever Given’s bow was touching the canal’s eastern wall, while its stern looked lodged against its western wall, according to satellite data from MarineTraffic.com.

This is going to have serious implications for imports, especially of oil and gas; get a full tank in your car now, folks. I'm so glad I ordered heating oil 2 days ago at a good price, must have had a premonition. I read in the Mail (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9396611/Suez-Canal-blocked-cargo-ship-Given-runs-aground.html):
"Analysts revealed today that 10 tankers carrying 13 million barrels of crude oil are already stuck, causing oil prices to spike 2 per cent over fears of a shortage.... The only alternative to going through the canal is for vessels to sail around the Horn of Africa and approach the Mediterranean from the west, adding 14 days and 5,000 nautical miles to the journey."
There are also the implications for food imports to Europe, one thing that I was surprised to learn from reading pet food labels is that most pet food is now made in SE Asia; stock up now if you have pets.
There is speculation that this 'accident' may have been sabotage, though no firm evidence for that.

Suez Canal: How are they trying to free the Ever Given?
An operation to free a giant container ship stuck in the Suez Canal is continuing, with warnings it could take days or even weeks
The Ever Given, operated by the Taiwanese company Evergreen Marine, is the length of four football pitches and is lying across the southern end of the canal preventing other ships from getting through one of the world's busiest waterways.

How could the Ever Given be moved?

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/604B/production/_97415642_007_in_numbers_624.png
Up to nine tugs have been deployed to free the ship, according to the company which manages the running of the vessel, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM).
The ship is 400 metres (1,300ft) long, wedged diagonally across a canal not much more than 200 metres (656ft) wide.
Using cables or placing themselves directly alongside the stricken ship, the tug boats have been attempting to move it off sand banks on both sides of the canal.

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/4BEB/production/_112953491__108802839_624_transparent-nc.png
BSM says an attempt to refloat the ship on Thursday morning failed and that they would try again soon.
As it's firmly grounded on both banks, all efforts so far have proved extremely difficult to shift it, says Sal Mercogliano, an expert in maritime history at Campbell University in the US.

Dredging
There is also an operation under way to dredge the canal around the ship.
The Netherlands-based dredging company Boskalis is attempting this, clearing sand and mud from around the hull.

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/4BEB/production/_112953491__108802839_624_transparent-nc.png
The chief executive of Boskalis, Peter Berdowski, says "it's an enormous weight on the sand" that will take a combination of dredging, tugging and removing weight from the ship to free it.
Maritime expert Sal Mercogliano says the Suez Canal is continually being dredged anyway to keep it passable.
"Large machines stick down into the water and basically pull dirt up from the bottom, which you can then deposit onshore."
The channel was expanded in 2015 to allow vessels the size of the Ever Given to pass through.

Remove cargo and fuel
The next stage in efforts to re-float the 200,000 tonne vessel would be to remove fuel and cargo.
A ship the size of the Ever Given can carry as many as 20,000 twenty-foot containers.
https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/1024/cpsprodpb/BBB2/production/_117705084_evergreen_ship_diagram_x2_640-nc.png
https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/4BEB/production/_112953491__108802839_624_transparent-nc.png
There are, however, dangers associated with doing this, as it could cause damage and even unbalance the ship.
It would also be a delicate and time-consuming operation.
"You would have to bring large floating cranes - but anything you do right now you would have to calculate the stability of the vessel, you have to determine how it would affect the stability," says Dr Mercogliano.
"Worst case scenario is that she breaks in half because of [uneven] weight distributions."
Also, trying to remove freight containers using floating cranes could be tricky given how high they are stacked up on the ship.
Draining fuel from the ship's tanks would be an easier operation, but may well not reduce the weight sufficiently.

My take here is that "somebody" want to show the danger of having one single maritime route, excepting Cape Agulhas route or the longest Cape Horn one, which both are longer than the other one compared with Suez route for maritime transport and "suggesting" the Russian-Chinese Arctic route, shorter and therefor faster and more economic than the old one.

I can't see a future for Dan Brown or whoever writes the late Tom Clancy's new novels, 'reality' has far surpassed whatever their imaginations could come up with.
This one seems dodgy as hell, from the 'debunked' course that was set prior to 'entering the canal'
https://twitter.com/jsrailton/status/1374515642339004417?s=20
to the final outcome:
https://twitter.com/ZainaErhaim/status/1374667602308567042?s=20
@EFO and @Viking both have plausible reasons. I've also seen a wish to block naval forces or some need to delay one or more of the vessels currently stuck waiting for it to be cleared.
Then, depending on how far down the rabbit hole you feel like heading, there's the 'Evergreen' fire recently, the Hilary Clinton references etc etc.

I can't take credit, there's an ongoing discussion on the 8Kun QResearch boards and someone picked that out. Sometimes its very tenuous or ambiguous, but this one looked worth sharing. There's a lot of ‘things are gonna get crazy’ on there that may lend itself to things coming to a conclusion/crisis moment, some interesting analyses of the clock, Trumps interview with Ingraham etc. so there could be something imminent, but then we've been down that road before...

For example:

July 8 (UPI) -- Police in the Netherlands arrested six men suspected of preparing to commit kidnappings and hold people hostage after discovering an "underworld" prison equipped with a torture chamber made from converted shipping containers in a warehouse.
In a statement on Tuesday, the National Prosecutor's Office said the seven shipping containers were discovered during a raid last month in a Wouwse Plantage warehouse near the border with Belgium.

the only logic thing to do is to unload the entire damned thing, is it crude oil in the tanks or something refined that could explode? I guess some dirties will come out of this story, lets see.
The only things I can imagine is engine failure or sabotage. Maybe someone sending a message!

The US Navy is expected to send an assessment team of dredging experts to the Suez Canal by Saturday to advise Egyptian authorities on dislodging the Ever Given ship, it has been reported.
According to CNN journalist Barbara Starr, the information was provided by two officials from the Department of Defence.

Here's another incident the Ever Given was involved in. A moderate wind could turn it sideways due to its huge profile.
Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ever_Given)
2019 Hamburg collision
On 9 February 2019, the ship struck and heavily damaged a 25-meter-long HADAG ferry boat at Blankenese, near the harbour of Hamburg.[8] Two minutes after the collision, a traffic ban on the Elbe river was issued due to high winds.[9]

That's the official narrative according to wikipedia, take a look (created 4 hours ago).
"On 23 March 2021 at 07:40 EGY (UTC+2), Ever Given, a Golden-class container ship, ran aground in the Suez Canal in Egypt.[3] The 400-metre-long (1,300 ft) vessel had been buffeted by a sandstorm and strong winds of up to 74 kilometres per hour (40 knots; 46 miles per hour), knocking it off course."
Here also follow the prntscr of wikipedia, before they change their article

If it is too dirty, blame something else, the weather by the way, I didn't read any report of sandstorm in that area this day, before I believe anything I will pull out the weather history of that area in the time of the incident, let's see.
Here it is the weather around Cairo:
https://i.imgur.com/LZERYCN.png
and here the weather around Suez, it differ slightly, but the point is: there were no sandstorm, why are they saying it? see no high winds in the area, just a normal day, the 30 mph showed in the graph is equivalent of 48 kmh which is not that strong wind, we got 70 kmh a while ago, my roof still here.
On 23 March 2021 at 07:40 EGY (UTC+2) the wind was 6 mph (or 9.65 kmh) in around Cairo and 22 mph around Suez.

I believe the shortages created by this accidental or engineered blockage will be used to justified building the gas and oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia and Quatar through Turkey and Syria. This would re-start the conflict in Syria to oust Bachar el Asad from power with more "popular" support in Western countries. At any rates something is fishy....

My very first intuitive reaction to this news was "absolutely not an accident, not good". Most of the times that's the most
accurate assessment because then you're not yet 'frontloaded' with distracting alternative narratives.
I noticed there are also positive narratives about this alleged 'accident'. Like kids being freed from containers etc. etc.
My next (now logical) reaction is that however wonderful that sounds it seems unlikely to me. Why? Because the consequences
are that Europe will (economically) suffer badly from this if it's going to take weeks to solve the situation. If it's caused by white
hats then they're putting Europe's economy at risk. Stopping that vessel somewhere else would easily be possible too.
The only reasonable explanation for doing it this way would be that an upcoming crisis would attract more public attention.
But I doubt if that's really the plan.
It's more likely to boost economic failure and get the big reset of Mr Klaus Schwab going ...

this could be solved in hours. but youll need a lot of ropes and cars /trucks... anything. Way back, 1 man could pull 100 tons ( 4 trucks) to get the harvest to the factorys. This ship is stuck in sand, if 1 man can pull out a 100.000 kg ship it ill take 2000 man to get this thing floating again… or 50 cars or trucks... but the trick is these cars have to get grip... so you gotta think slow. get all the jeeps and trucks you can find there and find the momentum. The dictionary sais pully block or lifting tackle... it only has to move 3 or 4 metres… this is peanuts, and could be instantly solved.
this ship can move sideways, just turn on the right engines for a while and it will choose less friction ...water. it might take several hours but it will help to do the trick and i am 100 % sure. But to be honest; i hope it ill get stuck there for decades.

The sheer scale of this vessel is something to behold! Look at the size of that digger in comparison to the man standing next to it. It's almost as big as a house, and yet it looks like a toy Tonka truck. Then look at the size of its anchor compared to the digger and then the man. If you stood it upright it would be over 300ft taller than the Eiffel Tower, and it's laden with 20000 containers weighing approximately 200.000 metric tonnes. Oh and its jammed! Not a simple fix at all surely?

The QResearch section of 8Kun is full of Evergreen references as Anon's dig further. Of course the danger with this sort of thing is that there's little or no direct links between many of these entities or events barring them sharing the name, which isn't that uncommon a word in the English language.
So, with that caveat in mind, I'll try and give you a snapshot:
Lot of mentions of the Evergreen truck in China that also caused a blockage: https://taiwanenglishnews.com/truck-carrying-evergreen-container-causes-traffic-jam-in-china-picture-goes-viral/
https://i1.wp.com/taiwanenglishnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/evergreen.jpg?resize=709%2C398&ssl=1
This happened at 9:55 - which led to connections to the 5:5 signal often found in Q drops.

Evergreen security scam - Auditor sued by trustee (https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/os-xpm-2002-07-27-0207270217-story,amp.html). Evergreen, however, was in a different class. Looks like the sandstorm story is disintegrating:
Initial reports said the 400m-long (1,300ft), 200,000-tonne vessel ran aground due to high winds and a sandstorm that affected visibility.
However, Mr Rabie said weather conditions were "not the main reasons" for the ship's grounding.
"There may have been technical or human errors," he told reporters, without giving details. "All of these factors will become apparent in the investigation."

My cousin was a ships captain and I asked him how something like that could possibly happen. His response..
That was my biggest fear going through there, very clenched buttocks and tight sphincter that whole day. I am doubtful about the gust of wind theory.... that thing is close to 300,000 tonnes and would have been at about 9 knots. I suspect loss of power generation with wheel at unfortunate angle. But black box will reveal all in time. Bloody bad scene!!

Can you ask your cousin what he makes of the penis and “clenched buttocks” that we are told the ship made prior to entering the canal? If that is true, that adds an element of suspicion to the whole event.

Lets look at how it happened :)
Whoever steared that boat went up the canal until a part of the canal was reached that just had one way of travel. Then he/she took a really good swing to the left, as much as possible. after being as left in the canal as the ship allowed he/she took the rudder full right to ram the ship as much in the right side as possible. Thereby blocking the canal.

Nothing is complicated if you know how to do it right. Moving a huge object with tiny ones is foolishness. There are now hundreds of ships waiting to pass. Get some big ones in threr, 5 ships or more tied in series pull that giant ship from below. or maybe 20 tug boats tied in series. why use 1 or 2 when there are so many. yeah its a pretty huge job it will take years.

With its current position they dont even need help to get unstack. They only need to use the ships bow and astern truster and its free.

this could be solved in hours, but you'll need a lot of ropes and cars /trucksMaybe not quite so simple!
they should dig the edge more. the more the bow of the ship gets into the canal bank the more it gets stuck.

That's the perfect maneuver to get the ship stuck as hard as possible. The ship swerve left and right to give the impression of loss of steering control. They should have slow down because the " the bank effect" is much lesser with reduce speed. Now they are digging the bank to insert the bow of the ship further while the small ship on the fore is pushing it further in. If they have to dig a constant pulling must be applied to prevent the bow from going in further. They are doing the opposite. Its a clear sabotage to me.

They should dig on the port side because that's the direction to free the ship. Anyways they want it stuck further so they are doing the right thing.

When brilliant true scientists develop something amazing, it quickly become secret of the state, if the scientist decided to rogue, he will be punished or even killed. We all know the disgusting story.

It says "accidental grounding".
It is all about politics, they will put whatever they want in their official narrative even if it sounds extremely lame, the majority of people will buy this version of the story.
True or False, the dick & butt is priceless, they can't hide that, it already reached lots of people, even a radio show was making jokes of that.
I have to add up one more thing: I was reading alt news elsewhere and the amount of heat added is just absurd, I mean project camelot was saying white hat intel working as port pilot and it was saying things about container inspections on the spot.. not true, the ship gonna for now.
If you read everything out there you can go bonkers easily, that's what I like here on project Avalon, the information here is measured and always find some ground.

As context, the author has posted his decodes of the Q posts for many months. Initially on Twitter and then after being culled he's re-emerged on his own site. His approach is to look for connections between different stories that appear in the media, seeing them as layered communications. So a story about an injured racehorse may be an allusion to an upcoming election etc.
Is he right? I've found some of the nuggets he's come up with very persuasive, to the extent where I now look twice at a lot of the silly stories that I'd previously dismiss as trivial froth. That's not to say that I agree with every connection he makes. Sometimes at least one must assume an injured racehorse is just that. That was an interesting read, some of it a bit above my head I must confess, but one interesting story that I hadn't heard about is mentioned towards the end. There's a link to a news report (https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/the-new-egyptian-capital-illusion-or-new-beginning-663020) that Egypt is building a new administrative capital 28 miles to the east of Cairo and about 30 miles west of Suez, you can see the construction site with these coordinates; 29.99592, 31.73764.
"The as-yet-unnamed city, situated with the existing satellite city of New Cairo between it and the megalopolis, will span 270 square miles, more than four times the size of Washington, DC. It will include 20 residential quarters accommodating 6.5 million people, in an effort to reduce congestion in the old capital 28 miles to the west. The Central Business District is to have over 20 residential, administrative and commercial buildings, including the Iconic Tower."

The reason the Russian NAVY is flanking the northbound exit of the Suez Canal & that the USA NAVY is positioned at the southern most exit below is they will not permit that Shipping container Freightliner Ship to exit the canal without the offloading and inspection of the Shipping containers. They want the world to know about this human trafficking heist. They are using offensive positions to ensure this is done. They are also preventing the Deep State from targeting the Freightliner in hopes to "destroy their evidence" as they are known to do.
I learned today that military medics (25-30) boarded the ship. 🙏

That's true and you're right to raise the banner of scepticism and not rushing to judgment, but we also live in a world where plans are hatched and executed and sometimes those plans may involve staging accidents. I agree there's a danger of reading too much into things, but there's also a danger of reading too little. I think for a long time we (as a society) have been guilty of the latter, blithely believing the 'party line' on anything and everything and silencing any dissenting voices by ostracism or ridicule. Both positions are no substitute for taking each incident on its merits.
If we examine this incident, we had an initial 'duck' explanation 'sandstorm and high winds' that was swiftly accepted and disseminated via the media. Many people will have seen that initial explanation and that will form their opinion from here on out. I found out that the local weather didn't support that explanation from reading posts from other individuals who have learned not to accept things at face value and guess what, they've now changed that explanation in the msm reporting.
There's a lot more sketchy aspects of this, that doesn't mean that the alternative explanations are correct and there are likely more forces at work in any case than just the Rothschilds, but whether there's the 'coincidental' Evergreen truck blockage in China or the 'unfortunate accidental' drawing of a rude symbol in the vessels movements prior to entering the canal, this duck appears to be miaowing, has 3 legs and an elephants trunk. :sherlock:

Now they are digging the bank to insert the bow of the ship further while the small ship on the fore is pushing it further in. If they have to dig a constant pulling must be applied to prevent the bow from going in further. They are doing the opposite. Its a clear sabotage to me.... and clearly none of the many teams of global marine salvage experts who have been looking closely at this situation for days have realized that!

Many sources are saying they started a report on Al Jazeera saying Egypt had rescued Children off of The Ever Given but it was cut off & removed.
But thats probably all just coincidences and have nothing in common.

There is a lot of quaking. But none explains why they dug on both sides of the bow. Its not even engineering its a simple common sense that a child could instinctively do correctly. If you want to get that boat out you only clear one side not both sides. because there is only one way to get it free. Its almost unbilievabe that despite being aware that science engineering and experts are normally corrupted and manipulated most people will still use them to make a point. so much so that they lost the capacity to use the imagination and instead rely on the corrupteds.

Some interesting observations in this video. Only short, worth a watch I think:
JoN083495As
Of note...
The incident with the sister ship
The matching of the container patterns to the DNA breakdown of Sars Cov 2
The excavator to ACE 2 0 this seemed like a stretch to me, but the cover of the Economist often seems to have the inside track...
The green to the Wuhan games ceremony and the IPetGoat2 sequence however seemed like astute observation.
Sadly I think this sort of interpretation more likely than the white hats ambushing the black hats narrative... :(

That's true and you're right to raise the banner of scepticism and not rushing to judgment, but we also live in a world where plans are hatched and executed and sometimes those plans may involve staging accidents. I agree there's a danger of reading too much into things, but there's also a danger of reading too little. Where would the forum be if some of us didn't jump to a conclusion that fitted some sort of conspiracy narrative!
When sh!t happens the media scurry about for anyone who will supply some sort of explanation - without even doing a basic fact check, like confirming weather/wind in this case. These 'facts' get repeated and circulated until the real facts are revealed after proper analysis of the events. Then of course it generates a fertile ground for yet more conspirational stories where none exist; "Why change the story? Why wasn't this reported at the start? Who is manipulating the narrative?"
We distrust MSM for good reason, but many of us seem to accept alternative narratives without doing some basic fact checking, or even just exercising a bit of critical thinking.

Indian crew of the Ever Given face ARREST as Egyptian authorities probe crash that blocked the Suez Canal for a week – amid fears they will be made 'scapegoats' for the chaos.
The pilots and crew onboard the massive container ship that blocked the Suez Canal could face arrest and be 'made scapegoats' for the incident as investigators continue to search for the cause of the grounding that strangled global trade.
Union officials fear the 25-man Indian crew onboard the 220,000-ton Ever Given, which found itself wedged across the crucial waterway in Egypt last Tuesday, will fall under increasing scrutiny from the Suez Canal Authority, with claims that the workers could soon be placed under house arrest until the investigation is completed.
Egyptian maritime officials are expected to seize the Suez Canal crew as they carry out their probe, with one expert telling Indian media that investigators would listen to recordings of mariners' conversations in the lead-up to the blockage.

It got big because Reddit made it big with lots and lots of memes. And once it ended being useful, Reddit "buried" it, and so everyone stopped paying attention to it
Most of those things start/end the same, like nobody talks anymore about the Jeffrey Epstein thing, even though it has been mostly proven that the Maxwell girl was one of the top admins at reddit, it just got "dismissed" on time

The key reason why this has to be nonsense is that it's totally impossible to check out the contents of any containers (except maybe a handful at the very edges of the huge stack of over 18,000!) unless they're all unloaded in port.
While the Ever Given was stuck, no containers were moved. There was no crane anywhere near. (It was near-impossible to get a large container-unloading crane to that spot. That's why they didn't unload any containers to lighten the ship's load so it could float higher in the water when the tugs were working to free it.)
On ships like this, the containers are stacked solidly like 18,000 identical lego bricks in several huge, thick blocks. You can't reach any of the containers unless they're at the edge of the block and their doors are somehow able to be opened.
If there was anything of interest in any of the containers — which might not be impossible, of course — the simple (and only possible!) thing to do would be to wait till it had reached Rotterdam, and then impound everything for a huge methodical examination.

I just did a little research on Mr Sariaydin.
Apparently he gets quite a bit of coverage as a speaker about different subjects, mostly Turkish politics and Azerbaijan. He doesn't seem to
have his own youtube channel but is featured on several channels.
His most popular video is about the possible crash of the gold price and had 1.9 million views.
It seems he is quite well-known in Turkey and isn't necessarily a conspiracy theorist.
At least I wouldn't dismiss what he says out of hand. It would be great if we had a member who speaks Turkish.
There is an English transcript of what he says here on the internet, but obviously I don't know how reliable it is.

Egypt has seized the Ever Given claiming they're owed $900 million in compensation due to lost revenue.
Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2021/04/13/ever-given-seized-egypt/)
A few weeks ago, Egypt was frantically trying to get the massive container ship Ever Given out of the Suez Canal.
Now, authorities are saying the vessel is not allowed to leave.
In the latest complication to the ill-fated voyage, Egypt has seized the Ever Given over its owners’ “failure to pay an amount of $900 million,” the state-run news outlet Ahram Gate reported. That amount represents the total compensation that Egypt says it is owed for the six-day blockage of the Suez Canal, including lost revenue from ships that ordinarily would have traveled through the canal during that time, as well as costs for damage to the crucial waterway and the equipment and labor deployed in the 144-hour scramble to free the ship.
Since it was dislodged from the narrow section of the canal where it ran aground in late March, blocking commerce worth billions of dollars, the Ever Given has been anchored in Egypt’s Great Bitter Lake, at the midpoint of the canal. Twenty-five crew members, all Indian nationals, remain stuck on board.
The ruling allowing Egypt to seize the Ever Given was issued by a court in Ismailia, a city on the west bank of the canal, according to the Ahram Gate website. The Suez Canal Authority, which made the request, noted that Egypt’s maritime trade laws allow the “precautionary seizure” of vessels that have outstanding debts, including failure to pay the costs from an accident.
“The vessel will remain here until investigations are complete and compensation is paid,” Osama Rabie, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), told Egyptian state television last week, according to the Wall Street Journal. “The minute they agree to compensation, the vessel will be allowed to move.”
But the National Union of Seafarers in India argues that refusing to let the crew off the ship amounts to holding them for ransom. “If the SCA has suffered losses, they can sort it out with those involved with the ship,” Abdulgani Serang, the union’s general secretary, told the Times of India on Sunday.
The Ever Given is owned by Shoei Kisen Kaisha, a Japanese holding company, but leased by Evergreen Marine Corp., a Taiwan-based conglomerate. Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, a German firm, was responsible for hiring the crew.
Egypt has not said which company it expects to pay for the damage, but Shoei Kisen Kaisha told the Journal last week that it was “in the middle of negotiations” with Suez authorities. The company has filed a lawsuit in British court aimed at limiting its liability for the incident.
Investigations of how the Ever Given became lodged sideways in the canal are continuing. In a recent interview, Rabie suggested the captain could have “made a mistake” with the ship’s steering or speed, according to Kyodo News. He emphasized that the two Suez Canal pilots who were on board to offer guidance were not ultimately responsible for making decisions and dismissed the idea that strong winds had pushed the ship off course.

I find it fascinating that Ever Given is crowded with ships coming and going past her daily since being anchored in Bitter Lake.
EXCEPT in the middle of their night. I look in on her from time to time on VesselTracker.com. https://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9811000
At their time, 3-4am, Ever Given is alone in the lake. No boating/shipping traffic at all. At least none with AIS signals. Lots of boats/ships are ready for their transit. Curious.

I do feel for the Indian crew on the Ever Given. I have read many stories of the crews of impounded ships who are stuck on board and not allowed to disembark, sometimes for a year or more. They rarely get pay from their employers whilst the ships are impounded and their families are left to survive without income.

This story seems to have some way to go yet. A nation state doesn't just impound the biggest freight ship in the world, given the sway, and financial power the companies that own it, and others who have cargo on board, have, in comparison to one country (Egypt). I imagine that usually, when an incident of this magnitude takes place, then it'd be a given that invested interests would pay compensation no problem (or just say 'tough luck'), and nothing more would be made of the matter.
I sense there's got to be be something much bigger at stake here.

Chinese authorities seize 7,221 human penises on cargo ship from Lagos
April 11, 2021
https://www.expressiveinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Chinese-authorities-seize-over-7200-human-penises-on-cargo-ship-from-Lagos.jpg
A total of 7,221 penises of African origin have been seized by the Chinese customs officers in what has now been tagged the world’s biggest seizure of human organs in history.
The organs which were hidden in a refrigerated freight container were seized when the ship harboured in the Shanghai Port following information from an anonymous informer who alerted the Chinese authorities.
The organs were packed in 36 boxes labelled as ‘plantains’ inside the refrigerated container on a ship which transited from Lagos, Nigeria and ship’s crew consisting of four Nigerians, two Malians and two Cameronese now being detained.
Speaking on the seizure, the spokesman of the Chinese General Administration of Customs, Li Wu, says an increasingly large number of armed groups in Africa use organ trafficking to finance themselves, making such seizures predictable.
“These organs are common commodities now, but they were certainly harvested in unsanitary conditions or contaminated at some point, so we can’t let them out on the Chinese market.”
Mr. Li says the organs were shipped from Lagos in Nigeria but may have only transited through that country and could possibly originate from elsewhere in Africa.
“We know that penises from Lybia and Sudan fetch a higher price than those from other African war zones, but can’t presume of their origin before the end of the investigation.”
Describing the organ’s value as high as illegal drugs, he said that “specimens of this size” usually fetched around $160,000 each on the black market, and its total value was more than $1.15 billion, adding that similar seizures may become more common over the next few years as armed groups in Africa turn to organ trafficking to finance their military operations.
Human penises were seized in nine cases since 2002, but today’s find represents more than four times the amount seized by customs officers over the past 18 years.

That presupposes the facts will emerge Nick and not be covered up by a bogus enquiry and the use of a convenient scapegoat. I'd argue we're still waiting on some facts from 9/11, Dallas 1963 etc etc.
In this case, the event didn't take place in a vacuum, but in a world gripped by a pandemic and that's seen an increase in very odd looking events, not least the reported course of the ship immediately prior to entering the canal itself.
Good video and we shouldn't discount Occam's razor or mundane human error, but the conspiritard label is unfair given there are some very odd aspects to this event.

The Ever Given is on the move after more than 100 days.
reuters (https://www.reuters.com/world/ever-given-container-ship-set-leave-suez-canal-2021-07-07/)
ISMAILIA, Egypt, July 7 (Reuters) - The Ever Given, one of the world's largest container ships, resumed its journey and left the Suez Canal on Wednesday, 106 days after becoming wedged across a southern section of the waterway for nearly a week and disrupting global trade.
The Ever Given started to head north in the late morning across the Great Bitter Lake, which separates two sections of the canal and where it had been moored with its Indian crew since being refloated on March 29.
It then joined the back of a northbound convoy, passing the site of a ceremony where the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and representatives for the ship signed the compensation settlement that allowed its release.
