Look up taurine supplement.its main job is to remove fluoride from the body.if here is any left it repairs eardrums and eyes.but there is never enough left for that job because of to much fluoride.

You can get carnosine eyedrops (acetylcarnosine) which can improve eye health, particularly with cataracts, but other improvements have been noted with use. Should be able to get this at a supplement store.

Caffeine can increase pressure in the eyes, if you consume it, maybe cut back and see if tat helps.

GenTeal Tears (https://gentealtears.myalcon.com/) works very well as relief for soreness, scratchiness, irritation, etc. (I was very happy with it when I burned my eyes badly in the mountains a couple years back from crazy-high UV levels with no dark glasses.)

And there's a 'severe' version as well.

But "pressure' building up needs to be checked out professionally. It's a very simple, short and painless test. It might [just possibly] be the start of glaucoma, a problem that if it's there, should be caught early. And that'd be something not to be self-treated.

You asked about colloidal silver, which is an antiviral and antibacterial. Yes, it's safe and fine for eyes in moderation. (There are a number of easily found web articles about that.) But if your eyes don't have an infection but some there's other problem, then it wouldn't really be useful.

Wonder if you can find or order iTone eye drops, they are herbal, based in Ayurvedic recipe, rather pleasing ( no hurts, no side effects) and can both calm and clean eyes beautifully. They’re not too expensive either ( at least here in India), should cost around a dollar for 10 ml bottle.

I missed them whenever I was out of India and out of despair, had friend sending me 10 bottles once and because many people have eye troubles these days working on computer, pollution etc. they were gone very soon :)

There are other kinds of herbal eye drops I’ve tried for acute state of conjunctivitis but there isn’t much choice.

I’d suggest calendula herb infusions can be helpful as well.

Blueberries or extract from, long term.

Best wishes 🙏🌻

Colloidal silver is good for you of course but eyes shouldn’t be washed with it often, it dries them more so unless the cause is bacterial infection, it would be contraproductive to apply them daily.

You could try Lutein I think is the name of it. I myself have had the build up in the eyes as well opting for a having a very expensive eye treatment where they blast the surface of the eyeball all over with this special machine. It cost me over $2500 for a 25 minute treatment. This enabled me to not have to take special eyedrops everyday for life and I had the treatment done over 7 years ago now. Once a year I get checked out by an eye specialist to monitor my eyesight at the hospital which fortunately cost me nothing. Whereas as the eye specialist cost me $400 a visit which went up depending on other tests being done on top of the check. Do yourself a favour and go to an optician for a check up and see if they can detect any other eye problems before you research what's the best course of action. Good luck my friend, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

A person I know told me that he cured cataracts completely with putting a drop of castor oil before going to sleep. He found this cure advice in a book about Edgar Cayce.

Interesting, I may try that too.

Just a note about eye drops for glaucoma. If you don't have glaucoma, then the drops will reduce the eye pressure to below normal, and actually start to shrink the eyeball — which is not a good thing! :)

If I were in your position I really would get a diagnosis... which should be simple and relatively inexpensive. Then at least I'd know what I was trying to treat.

Thanks Bill I actually went to an eye Dr several months ago, and he didn't find anything wrong. Interesting, he said to stop smoking and drinking. That day he dilated my eyes also.

And they are addictive too, at least so I’ve heard, require more applications with time and very costly. The bottle is so tiny that anyone with weak eye sight spends lots of effort on just finding the bottle. No doubt they work effectively after several weeks of application in reducing intraocular pressure but it’s my feel that tea bags would too.

Of course I’m not trying to lighten the topic and yes White Feather,
TV screens and computer screens and various kinds of iridescent light bulbs are curse of our generation, one of,
together with noise and frequency pollution and increasing amount of dust we are breathing ..gets to our eyes too.

I’ve said already ten years ago I really hope the next generation of computer screens will be eye friendly.

To get rid of my eye floaters I put drops of castor oil in my eye.

Honey is an excellent treatment for a variety of eye conditions, and has antimicrobial properties that make it effective against many different bacteria and fungi. It promotes wound healing, and was used by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks to treat eye problems

Method: Dissolve ¼ tsp of raw honey in ¼ cup of distilled or boiled, cooled water. Add a pinch of salt. Use a clean dropper to insert 1–2 drops in the affected eye every few hours.

Here's my personal story .... Early 20's I was about to take my driving test , you are required to read a car number plate at 25 meters and I was having trouble ... I was told I needed glasses ...!

I didn't like that idea , wearing glasses all my life ! What a hassle .... Some how I came upon the "Bate's technique " also called "palming " ... You are basically blasting your eyes with the chi that comes from the palms of your hands , just for 15 secs a day ... it will cure any eye issue , my sight soon improved , passed driving test and now 45 years latter my sight is perfect . I still practice it now and again , with eyes open staring into the palms of my hands , it feels good to do.
