View Full Version : Any Other Good Alt Forums Out There?

Mike

I came to Project Avalon in 2011 by mistake. I'd lost track of Bill for a bit and found him here. I saw he had a new video out ("Charles"), and was under the impression I had to register to see it. So I did. I didn't have any intention to post. I didn't even know what a chat forum was. But I did wind up posting, and here I am 10 years later. Time has flown.

In all that time, it's almost never even occurred to me to check out any other "alt" sites. Wasn't that moved to do it. But recently I thought, sh!t why not? Lets see what else is out there. I'm not leaving Avalon, I just thought it might be fun to annoy a new group of people once in a while.

And looking around I was pretty disappointed. Most of the sites are quite generic looking. Godlike Productions is ok, and I like that there's quite a bit of action there. But I'm not moved to sign up really, tho I still might. Not sure.

The only other forum that appealed to me, that I could think of, is Richard Dolan's...but it's still "under construction", and I don't know if it's ever gonna get off the ground.

I know these long form spaces are sort of a dying breed, but surely there must be 1 or 2 cool ones out there. Hoping you guys can make some suggestions. Thanks ahead of time.

Once in awhile I’ll pop over to ATS to see what’s going on, but the quality just isn’t the same.

The time for good forums on internet passed, Avalon survived and I personally do not know anything better than here, I read much more than I post, Avalon has a wealth of good information and a great Library in one place which makes Avalon what it is, also the people here are very respectful, I do not think you will find anything like that anywhere else, but good luck trying and if you find please let us all know :)

I always had been an IRC and USENET user (old habits die hard) and also IRCop for quite a few years, I did setup my own IRC server and gave to a friend to manage the channels, but unfortunately IRC is not a very easy thing that will attract everybody and he end up having a break down due to lack of specific knowledge to deal with the thingy (it is trick), and I could not help him due to lack of time, be it a forum or IRC, it require lots of time to take proper care (it is like a baby require attention), not only technically but all the content and users management (moderation), it is not very easy as it sounds, that's what keep pushing most people away from use these aging technologies, specially because today we have things like Slack, Discord, Matrix Protocol (like Element) and Jitsi just to name a few.. <<<<---- (but they are all behind corporate chains) and forums has no strings attached to anyone, it is pretty much independent and that's why I am here very often and not on corporate platforms.

You can find in Discord and Slack (I prefer, due to the IRC looks they have) a few servers with nice crafted content, I was part of a channel on Slack about Psychedelism, but now there is more than 2 years nobody posting, I guess it is defunct :( these platforms before mentioned are very niche in my opinion, you normally find servers by subjects and join, it is not very broad as Avalon, unless one start joining every and all servers available, but that's is messy I guess.

I know the thread is asking for more Avalon like forums out there, but I am afraid to say there isn't many publicly available, my advice is look for "school of knowledge", "school of thought", "self educated", "Discordianism (Principia Discordia)", "Black Iron Prison", "tenet", etc etc and etc.. + the word "forum" and use Google Dorks for that, sure you will find something... Those organizations may have a public forum or blog that encourage their students to post very often (it may be public or not), the school of fourth way I was part of, they had a blog and a forum and it was public and open for all, not only students of the school, but since the school closed the website gonna, also it was 20 years ago, that time forums was the best thing available.

Been here since the beginning, I followed captain Bill from when he left project Camelot and started this with many talented people, many thanks go to the moderators who help run the site past and present. There's been many people who have come and gone, and God bless those special souls who rode Avalon to the end of their time here on earth. Very special people . Much knowledge too from around the world . As my dad said to me when I was 9 years old and he took us on a trip across the United States visiting historic sites. I asked him why he did that at that age ? He told me he took us at that age to expand our minds! I consider being in the Avalon family having that same experience every time I visit. :). This is best place to be.

There is a mindset (for a lack of better word) that I cannot find anywhere - online or offline. Avalon is the only place that provides this. The description I have in mind is something like this "open minded to explore all ideas/concepts but sceptical enough to realise/seperate what is woowoo and what really helps one to expand his/her awareness".

As a health professional, I am dealing with the closest-minds you can ever see in my professional life (wait, in fact u can see same breeds in every religious cult) especially because of latest pandemic story. On the contrary, many "alternative/conspiracy" sources are outright ridiculous for me, so I also stay away from such too. I never liked GLP or ATS as I saw too much wild claims & intended disinformation in both forums.

As a result: This is the only source that I can find what I'm looking for. A healthy balance of open minded sceptism which can lead to deeper investigations. There is no other forum like this as far as I know!

ATS & GLP are targeted by shills & disinformation. If not actually managed by people from agencies who promote lies and delete actual true content.

You find only bickering and lies for the most part. Really mean people frequent those sites and it ruins them for any actual browsing of content. Though on occasion something interesting shows up now and then but you never get a good discussion going or anything worth reading more than the OP of a thread who wanted to share some detail or story etc.

It's a fishing hole to bait the fish for catch and release.

I do think forums — at least independent, well-moderated ones! — are an increasingly rare species. They're like a gourmet restaurant offering free food, or maybe a bring-your-own-everything giant public barbecue in the sun, with the kids playing all around for many hours while the parents relax, mingle and chat.

And that's compared with grab-it-and-run fast food. In other words, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the like.

Fast food is a quick-fix addiction in a world where many people want instant gratification with little investment. In other words, cheap, low-quality substitutes for real substance, dialog and intellectual nourishment.

An increasingly small number of people want to spend any time reading and contemplating anything longer than this post. :) And so the marketing world responds.

ATS & GLP are targeted by shills & disinformation. .

Avalon is the most coveted target of shills trolls and puppets. For who else will they target, the captured?

Although the quality of membership here makes it extremely difficult for them to penetrate.

As always, scrupulous members like @Mike (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?3356-Mike) is exactly what makes this Forum even more interesting to me :)

The quality of any controversial forum depends heavily on how members know themselves and how they treat/react to possible (suspect) trolls & shills without losing their cool.

In my view, all forums/platforms depends heavily on what the end-goal/intent/motive of the owner is and all their admins/moderators and if that intent is 100% transparent or not.

--o-O-o--

To all new members who may be trolls/shills posing as a "good member" for a while first ... know this:

Are you willing to learn something new? ... Yes or No? ... If yes, your quality will be tested naturally if you are able to show that ability (will/intent). If not, you will find that even if you play the "good guy" part, you expose yourself fast enough when you act like some-one who does not grow up.

Quality of any forum also depends on how people interact with each-other naturally without guidelines ... and those who do not get it may want some guidance time to time.

Forum that is a well organized platform for all kinds of suppressed news & conspiracy research is mostly doomed to be overrun narcissistic control-freaks trying to hijack the original intent of the creator UNLESS the rest of the members are not affected by it and have a much better "attention management" practicing discernment-skills better. This is KEY why Project Avalon stands out!

Most people with "short attention span disorder" will not last long here either which is PERFECT as some things can not be explained/appreciated in fancy one-liners.

Deep Thinkers with (general) Anxiety Disorder (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generalized_anxiety_disorder) may get practical tips from other Project Avalon members who may have been there too but somehow overcome or transformed their fears ... this is another quality-aspect almost all other "conspiracy research forums" lack.

... I can go on and on why Project Avalon is 100% unique in the world where "Science & Spirituality" truly meet without becoming a "cult" nor a "group hive mind" type of interactions. Appreciating many different empowering insights from all walks of life around the world.

Vast majority of Avalonians (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/memberlist.php) were inspired with the authentic & genuine work & effort done by Bill Ryan & (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5E9C7A4BB89A4D5E)Kerry Cassidy (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5E9C7A4BB89A4D5E) that is what makes this forum different ... as anyone who who does not know them and never studied what they both did for years being pioneers on so many levels ... are like "blue pill people" they need to take the red pill to know/experience how deep the rabbit-hole goes and EVEN then always question what we are being "spoon-fed" by so called "authorities" in the Alternative Media world which is what most of us do anyway ... to question everything including our own assumptions which is healthy & rare treat in dozens of other "conspiracy research forums" I have studied last 3 decades.

Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan are the founders of Project Camelot. During just a few years, Kerry and Bill have conducted and amassed an impressive collection of interviews from researchers, witnesses and whistleblowers from all over the world. During this interview Kerry and Bill discussed how Project Camelot was formed, as well as the future vision and upcoming directional changes. Many topics were discussed, including Project Serpo, 2012, the Illuminati, the secret space program, and a discussion of past guests, future challenges for humankind and hope.

I may well be wrong, but I'm not aware of any other "good alt forums" in existence, certainly none with Avalon's quality of content, membership, and administration. Avalon really is IT.

One of the few out there however that is in a similar style and format to Avalon is The One Truth (https://jandeane81.com/forum.php) forum. Owing to certain historical controversies that have existed between PA and ToT in the past, little more needs to be said. But if weighing the two up, there really is no contest whatsoever.

I just thought it might be fun to annoy a new group of people once in a while.

By all means Mike, introduce yourself to ToT. They could use a good injection of humour. It could be quite entertaining. I'll go grab the

Here is the problem. Yes, there are plenty of ridiculous stories and views in the alternate community. However, the truth IS just as ridiculous and probably more ridiculous and unbelievable than those false stories/ideas. I'm talking about both the truth of what's going on behind the scenes with the powers that be and the TRUTH truth, like you will get a peek at by using entheogens.

So, I find that the conservative people in the alternative world backs off of anything that sounds too weird for them. "Weird" is relative to how expanded your awareness is. So, these conservative people will never get close to the truth either, since the truth is "stranger than fiction" as they say.

Its important not to throw out something that appears ridiculous at first until we get enough evidence that it truly is nonsense.

We've all seen some strange truths. And it sucks when we try and share with someone who immediately sees it as far out and refuses to consider it and all of the sudden needs to leave the room or change the subject lol. For me, I welcome far out stories and often give them a chance. But then there are the Corey Goode's who have been exposed, and staying away is good to not waste time.

No, longform spaces are a dying breed as people lack the attention span to handle a paragraph in the TikTok generation. I continually accidentally place up walls between myself and my generation by having too much to say in the written format. There is nothing else like Project Avalon, which is why it is one of the two forums I really participate on at this point in time (the other is an irrelevant-to-this-topic extremely niche forum; someone who knows what I do may be able to guess what it is). And well, you see how often I post here. (sigh) I write so many posts that I don't actually submit all over the place, and just give up, because I know no one has the mental capacity to bear more than two paragraphs of information before their attention span snaps and their eyes glaze over.

All of the other alt whatever forums are full of shills and trolls. I've had a go at participating in a few of them, but knowing what I do from observing you, Mike, I can't honestly recommend them. This place on the internet is a very unique holdout of independent thought. Nothing is quite like it. It is only due to its extremely high entry standpoint that PA endures, I believe it is pretty much a requirement to building a strong digital community otherwise chaff blows over the nuggets of brilliance making them as hard to discover as a needle in a haystack.

The only other forum I have been part of other than P Avalon was Quad Verum, admittedly a Patriot Pro Trump site.

And then they ban me in one shot for posting info about the Virus and Vaxx. Wow, not even a warning, just a cold cut goodbye and banned.

My only guess is that they are super paranoid about being censored or taken down themselves. But if that were true, the head guy there could have sent me a warning e mail.

So I'm happily done with them as well.

I signed up to this forum once, many years ago - a Bukowski forum (the writer, for those that don't know). As you can imagine, the topic can get a little redundant, even for a pathetic fanboy like me. Anyway, I got kicked out after a week:) And they scrubbed all my posts soon after, which was a shame because they were pretty damn good. The owner of the place, who incidentally is an enormous prick, took issue with a relatively harmless comment I made, and an argument ensued. And then the vultures arrived. It was the most action that place had ever seen most likely. It was a dead zone. It's sort of like in that movie 'Waterworld', when those little incestuous communities would occasionally encounter an outsider. It was mixture of shock, horror, and excitement for them I think. Anyway, end of the day it was too much. And that was my lone foray into forum'dom, aside from Avalon.

Mike

I put together a post for my site back in 2014. Scoured the internet for decent forums. Below you will find a partial list that I published, there were many more but I pared it down when they closed. I removed the page containing all the forums (with links) from my site several years ago because so many were shutting down. I have spent time on most and even posted on many but I have always come back to Avalon. A few of the forums were great but a bit too small to offer much in the way of diverse thought. Some of the forums were one-dimensional and my interest was lost after a while. A couple were great at first with sparks flying all over the place but I quickly lost interest when I realized that they were attacking anyone with a different opinion than the majority of the members. One or two of these forums struck me as a bunch of teenagers making controversial posts simply to get a controversial response (i.e. GLP). ATS was probably the largest and best one I could find but it never kept my interest for too long and it has radically changed over the years.

I also found Avalon by chance and had no intention of staying for so long but I keep coming back. Watching the ebb and flow of the forum has been a very interesting experience. Some topics I read but I refuse to comment on such as Charles, QNON, and 911etc. I seem to get more involved with Avalon when the topic base broadens and there are more diverse subjects being covered. Sometimes even Avalon gets too stuck for too long on topics like the pandemic, vaccination, etc. Long ago people have made up their minds about the pandemic and whether or not to vaccinate but the topic continues to rage on. Sometimes Avalon gets too conspiratorial for me but this is just my opinion and I am sure many feel differently.

I personally think that there is a great opportunity for Avalon in the current environment. Bill kinda nailed it in post #9 (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?115092-Any-Other-Good-Alt-Forums-Out-There&p=1429495&viewfull=1#post1429495). FB and Twitter are great for millions of people but millions of others (myself included) use them because there is nothing else around of any size or significance. People are hungry for more diverse topics that are covered a bit in-depth without turning to Mainstream Media.

When I am traveling I always feel a certain comfort checking in on Avalon. No matter where I am it provides a feeling of stepping back through the front door of home even if it is just for a few minutes.

I have removed all the links from the forums list below. Some of these forums are still active but you will have to check.

I check them out from time to time, and what I usually see is Aiawawa having one long conversation with himself, in multiple threads:) Not a knock on him or the forum, it just is what it is. I don't care about past grievances and stuff like that, it wouldn't prevent me from signing up there. But there's just no action there. It's less of a forum and more of a roundtable chat between 5 or 6 people. Again, not a knock. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate space, it's a good place to go. But I s'pose I'm antsy for some action, ya know?

Oh I'd be doing the same.

I never expected to find a forum of equal value to Avalon. I've always known this forum was the best. This will always be my home base.

It's a good metaphor there. I don't do social media of any kind (I have a FB account for the chat option, as it seems to not freeze up like Skype does, but that's all I use it for). I'm still not entirely sure what tiktok is, or snapchat. And I'm kind of proud of that!:)

I really worry about the erosion of language. What these things like twitter are doing is reducing the language to grunts and mumbles. People that can write a basic, coherent sentence are becoming increasingly rare.

I have an account at TOT that I haven't used in years. Its not bad, much better than GLP or ATS, but I didn't really find it as interesting, varied, nor as entertaining as Avalon. If Avalon disappeared suddenly I'd probably find myself there.

Also, there's a few old Avalon members there I wouldn't mind reconnecting with.

Always felt that Project Avalon Forum is directly and/or indirectly influencing potential future whistler-blowers & insiders leaking stuff ... We may have some members who are true deep government insiders but keep a low profile with their activity and may have a change of heart after being exposed to too much "spiritual common sense".

I do not think other Forums can say the same having that kind of (possible) impact.

There are other pockets on the internet; a forum is a specific medium, and antiquated (new for 1998). Look at years of social media development; there are Discord servers, and (short lived) facebook groups, Telegram groups and a (probably short-lived) eco-system on twitter. Sure, we're unwelcome squatters but who really cares. I'm having fun and that's what counts. Come on in, the water is ....different

Chris Martenson has a forum at https://peakprosperity.com/forum. I've not checked it out, but I do intend to. There may be a lot of good content in there.

I very strongly suspect that Chris Martenson is doing a LOT of solid, high-quality research and investigation about the 'vaccines', but very understandably isn't posting anything on YouTube any more. What he's discovering or uncovering might be posted there to his members, playing a similar-ish role to mine here.

Just this week he started making videos again.

This is my only 'mere' 'conspiracy' forum. I am (was) mostly active on 'spiritual' forums, especially with regard to astral projection when I was very active in it. In a way, it is kind of 'alternative' too since it is not mainstream media nor mainstream religion and not even mainstream 'new age' stuff.

The communities are however way smaller than here on :Avalon:. Anyways, for whom it may be of interest:

My absolute favourit and the one of them which is also slightly conspiracy and (currently) very anti-vax. It is Transients/Roundtable.

https://www.transients.info/roundtable/

Others on mostly AP/OBE practical and theoretical stuff are these three:

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/ (a real dinosaur existing since 2002!)

Short Update: Astraldynamics is currently down and not loading, but normally it works fine.

Btw if you're interested to register and/or to look for me there I am 'Volgerle' on Astralpulse and My-Big-Toe and 'Sinera' (= first name of a past life of mine as a lady in Southern France in the mid-1600s) on Astraldynamics and Transients/Roundtable (btw, you would see that sometimes I share some stuff I just read on Avalon on the Transients forum although it also has been the other way round already).

Thank you for the link to Martenson. I was an avid watcher of his Covid videos. He did some great research and is a good human being.

The "TikTok" generation is a result of their parents way, really

Thinking of it that way, don't you you will create a "post TikTok" generation as a second side effect?

Just like you all did when you guys caused the "TikTok" one to become, based on what your parents considered bad on you

"Those kids with their bicycles! riding all day!"
"Those kids with their motorcycles riding all day!"
"Those kids with their cars..."
"Those kids with the Radios"
"Those kids with their Tvs"
"Those kids with their planes"
"Those kids with their games"
"Those kids with their cell phones"
"Those kids with their AR"

"Those kids..."

I bet there was someone, at some point in time, complaining there were too many kids spending hours playing chess, instead of working the fields

Really? So everyone here is incapable of understanding how smart you are? Do you realize what you said there? You don't post because no one 'would get you', right?

When will humanity learn? When?

everything works like a spectrum like for example in sports we have the beginer novice advance experts etc. You don't assign a novice troll or shill to corrupt the smartest truthseekers. Avalon is unique in that it has the finest collection of truth seekers trolls shills and puppets :)

We have to observe carefully by looking at the patterns across recorded history, that something is happening here over which humanity has no real control. Many people would use the "boiling frog" analogy to illustrate - the frog does not realize it is boiling if the water temperature is turned up slowly enough.

We have no ability to pass on information beyond our short life spans effectively, without dilution, distortion, or outright re-appropriation. Just look at what happened to Christianity in the first few hundred years A.D. The actual core of the message, about the Demiurgic level meddling with the human race, is completely wiped out, and replaced with a strictly enforced doctrine, which was baked into the human sub-conscious for more than 1000 years as the Dark Ages finally gave way to modern times.

What we are experiencing now is almost equivalent, but over a much shorter time scale, since that can work with the acceleration of perceptual time. The attention span of the average human being is being sabotaged through reappropriation of technology. The technologies which are allowed to flourish, through the guided hands of controlled markets, are the ones which achieve these effects, and not the ones which would create a better world for humankind. This is the "hidden hand" effect.

When will humanity learn? When?

An absolute bombshell will need to be dropped, either via dead man switch in a sudden dump or a long form equivalent which would allow for better outcomes even for the dark actors, if they were to change their tune (and they would be presented some very, very compelling evidence to do so).

Coming back to the OP topic briefly, the only other forums I found worthwhile over the years were the remote viewing training forums which have all shut down (if anyone can recommend one, post it in reply to this post), a forum that was run by Michael Tsarion which also shut down, and lastly the Cassiopaea forum (https://cassiopaea.org/forum/), which is a very good site to visit if you want to do a lot of work on yourself, or read the often interesting "session transcripts".

Coming back again to the 2nd reply to Mashika, humanity could never have had a chance to learn until the 2020s, when the controlled demolition of the human civilization began to be apparent enough to reveal the cracks in the entire facade.

It is a common feeling that even if the small fraction of people who frequent sites like Avalon have done a good job of this, we are a drop in the bucket compared to the global population, so what good does it do anyway?

But viral ideas can be started from anywhere, including here, and extensive research to back them up can go a long way. This is why humanity could not learn until this decade, it would take 20+ years of collective research and convergence towards hidden universal truths, the most occult truths of all, which would provide the necessary context to understand how everything came to be as it is now.

These viral ideas could not catch on without enough context, which could only become accessible this far into the future. The phase shift that has been occurring since 2012 with our plane of reality and what I would call the "Avalon layer" has made this especially possible (for example, deeper forms of Remote Viewing the universe, and what is beyond it, using the epsilon brainwave band). We are getting there now, because we can finally see how the last bits of culture can be choked out from the world via certain patterns of events.

The main adversary in this upcoming movement, which will be remembered as the most memorable element of the 20s in contrast to the recent decades of submission to first fear (9/11) and then technological manipulation of the brain (Big Tech), is the average person's need to rationalize everything in the simplest terms possible, removing all room for occult or hidden explanations for things, including the many inexplicable inconsistencies regarding the history of the human civilization.

And so again, this adversary was far too formidable a decade or two ago, let alone before that. Finally now, the average human might click into the idea that what would have once seemed like ridiculously fictitious dystopian notions, like a world where communicating in person was outlawed and only electronic communication between human beings was permitted, are not so ridiculous after all, because you don't have to make any law at all if you apply the "boiling frog" approach and just ever so gradually coax humanity into that kind of anti-culture.

And so, the world is incredibly ripe right now for either the bombshell, or else, far better yet, slowly turning the temperature dial back down before the frog boils.

When the Mayans realized that time operates in cycles ranging between the very short, to the very long (perhaps even billion or trillion year long cycles), they also realized that the cycles can be broken, but this relates to the most important streams of information passing into and out of this universe. What all beings currently existing within this universe might be able to agree on, if they came to know all of the most occult details, is that if there is the opportunity to avoid another of the longest cycles, then they had best come together to make that happen.

Repeating the longest of the cycles takes an incredible additional toll on the soul, and this changes nothing for entities who have thrown their soul away (since in infinite time, you can never throw it away forever)

Well that question comes up at every forum.... is there something like this ? Well the closest I have found is a fairly young Forum, much as every forum with a plethora of titles and topics Rogue Nation stand's alone, not on the laurels or coat tails of other entities new or old. RN3 is unique, yet much the same. With a behavior that is second to none. Every topic is allowable, and vibrant flourishes are overlooked. So Yea... Rogue Nation3 would be your destination, enjoy, I am Plotus.
