View Full Version : A Stand in the Park..

I just found out about this today, has anyone else heard about this ?

It has 65,000 members and 600 parks in over 15 countries although at present many seem to be UK based.

Every Sunday from 10-11am folk meet who stand for freedom...

Here's a link to their webpage which for me was very slow to load:

https://astandinthepark.org

I have looked up the parks in Wales and there is one less than 2miles from home, so I shall go and see if anyone else turns up tomorrow...

It has been very isolating this past year as I watch everyone close to me conforming to the diabolical brainwashing that has been going on and to have someone local to talk to would be lovely... x

Thanks EarthGirl - I hadn't heard about this -

Couldn't get the link to work (must be shenanigans) so I did a general search and went onto the facebook group 'A Stand in the Park' (I don't use FB much at all but it comes in handy sometimes) - it's a private group so I'm waiting for my request to join to be approved - as of 5 mins ago -

Wow there is one near me. It's 20 mins longer to walk to than the closest park, but that's some socialising I don't dread right there. That's me set tomorrow :sun:
:bowing: :dancing: :bowing:

This was good. I made new friends and had conversations that didn't start with the question have you had your jabs yet

What a great movement!
Not many in the USA yet.
Hoping to see more.

I would consider Unmasked Santa Fe, NM to be one of those, and it should be bigger now since it has been around since early last year. It was quirky, but well intended. I think it may meet elsewhere now, but the park was nice in the midst of it all, even as I had little in common with some of the people there.

I have no need now to meet with them as the works get a larger awakening audience, but it is always a great idea to meet like minded folks in a natural setting. I know this will grow as something that is so very natural and at times like this, when so many are in need of support and love, a powerful movement.

I saw a pregnant friend yesterday at a thrift store and she asked me if I've had the jab yet.
Being respectful I said "What do you think?".
She said "No. You're informed". I smiled and added a bit more detail as to why it's all such a scam, with wide ranging consequences, a challenge to be met with heart.
I said "And you?"
She said "Hell no. Some have tried to get me to get one and I said I don't trust the makers or their products. I do trust myself and my health."
I am happy for her, thinking for herself.
Did I mention that she was a MOTHER?

Went to my first Stand in the Park this morning and it was good - meeting like minded people - chatting and starting to build friendships ... I think this is all going to get worse before it hopefully gets better and these are the beginnings of local mutual support groups that will help us get through these insane times...

There were around 30 ish people there from a wide range of age groups.. there were heavy showers at one point and I ended up looking like I had been under a shower fully dressed... dripping ... I could have got my umbrella from the car or shared an umbrella but me and another woman were so deep into our conversation we both just carried on as if it wasn't tipping down with rain.... :) the rain doesn't bother me anyway...

All in all a very worthwhile experience - low key but quietly powerful - can recommend it.. especially for anyone feeling isolated and alone with no one to talk to face to face about everything going on ....

New beginnings...

For people in the USA...I belong to Connecting Consciousness. This is Simon Parkes organization. We Zoom on a regular basis and also get together. It is free to join and I have met some really informed and caring people in my home state of Conn. Thru this group I have found a Dr. who will give medical reason for not taking the vaccine (which has been mandated at my place of work unless it's a medical reason). Anyway, just a suggestion for those wanting to connect up with some "on-the-same-page" groups of people.

I agree with everyones else posts on this we turned up at the park (it's long) and waited and could see no-one, so we waited I said to my OH well someone must have posted it!

We approached two ladies who were standing and chatting "did they know stand in the park" they looked at me blankly ... I walked back and said well they will now have a story to tell their friends later about some 'mad' woman...

We found another lady (who we thought was just walking her dog) and Bingo! Yes she was stand in the park and couldn't understand where everyone was... "I've sent a text" she said and with that a lady walked out of the small woodland area and said "they've moved"

It turns out that right at the far end of the park beyond a small woodland area is a nice big seating area with a built in BBQ where they all were...

I was so pleased, there were about 20 folk (usually there are over 50 of them) all were well aware of what was going on and it was sooooo nice to chat face to face to others....

We were immediately welcomed and invited onto various groups where they talk.

Again all ages all with the same stories, most interesting were the group over 70's that were there, so I commented "according to the first minister of Wales you lot have been 100% vaxxed"

"liars all of them" was what I got back....

The second most interesting fact was one of those over 70's had tried to buy Hydroxychloroquine at the local chemist... They said "no problem, I'll just get you some" then came back with "I'm sorry I can't without a prescription from your doctor" and then commented "That's strange"

So he tried again at another chemist and was told exactly the same with the same comment from the Chemist...

So he was persistent and insisted on speaking to his own doctor, (who he knows) it took him two days to speak to him, "good job I wasn't really ill" was his comment and he was adamant that the doctor tell him why he wouldn't prescribe him Hydroxychloroquine, There was a lot of silence and eventually the doctor said "I would be struck off if I did". !!!!

Now I'm going on hearsay by what he said to me, but he was horrified at this remark...

Bump :D

How to Stand In The Park
Step 1) Stand in your local park and look like a total lemon
Step 2) Look for other people standing like a total lemon
Step 3) Have a conversation like it's 2017

EarthGirl
19th June 2021, 19:39
Bumping again what Matthew said

I went again last week and another couple of 'newbies' turned up...

Their words "We are so pleased to have found you lot... We thought we were on our own"

It really is worth investigating if there are any in your area and if not start your own...No matter where you are in the world.

At this point in time sadly, we are the minority, approx 5-10% of the population

But as we grow we spread awareness... We just can't help it

Yeah, it's important to get out and meet real people. There's a small group in Swansea, Wales, and some are only just opening their eyes to reality. All levels of awareness present. It makes for very interesting conversations. 😂

But we have to move beyond interesting conversations, we have to start helping each other, we got some tough times ahead.

Well I suppose they haven't been planning this treachery for it to stop here and manufactured food shortages are suspected as another evil stage in all this.... and then what would happen if water stops coming out of the tap - ?

One comment that I heard at the last Stand in the Park was that it would almost be a relief when the vax apartheid really gets going because then we will know more about planning needs etc ---

I ordered some water purifying tablets off ebay when I got home :) and thought I might start collecting rain in a plastic dustbin...

Crazy to have to think this way - but best not to be taken by surprise as this whole depopulation and reset malarkey etc really ramps up... forewarned is forearmed as they say (even though it won't be easy and probably tough times ahead...).... perhaps a lot of it could be fun and very interesting / meaningful as well - as society collapses and different people become aligned - haha - hopefully, fingers crossed... (re the fun bit)

Yes, all good points; tyranny never announces itself, it creeps up on you and before you know it, it's too late.

Hopefully it won't come to that, but I've been thinking about water too... have a look at your county council's website to see it they do water butts (to our American friends - that's British for water barrel!), most of them have a contract with firms to supply them cheaply, also connector kits to a down pipe.

It would take a long time to fill a dustbin with rainwater, but no time at all with a connector pipe. Here's an article from a couple of guys on installing guttering and a downpipe to a shed roof.

Hi EarthGirl,

I went to a meeting near me for the first time 3 weeks ago, it was wonderful to be with like minded people :) we hugged and shook each other hands. There were about 40-50 people present which surprised me, all walks of life. I have already made some new friends and no longer feel as isolated as I did x

Thanks for that - I'd just got as far as thinking of getting a big umbrella and putting it upside down on top with a hole in the middle for water to go through... and buying some plastic sheeting - but what you said would be good - of course I can just fill it with tap water for now ....

:raining:

you can also buy purpose made plastic bottles with straws that draw the water through a purification process - the military use them in case they only have dirty polluted water to drink - they clean about a thousand litres if I remember right...

we would just be buying time but that's better than nothing and action conquers fear, as they say..

How strange Le Chat, I want to say are you sure they are not meeting in another area of the park, but of course you've already thought of that.

Stand your ground and put it out to the universe your need to meet like minded folk. The universe has a way of sorting it out...

Hugs for your valiant effort I'm sure you won't be the only one for long x

I was pleased to find out that a Stand In the Park group had been set up about 5mins walk away. On consecutive Sundays, I have been the only one there....

We sure do LoneWolf76, Our group has already started to form a collective and we've started talking about how we can all help each other, glad you found new new folk to talk to x

Oh varuna that's so nice to hear, me too !

And this is just the start x

Hi EarthGirl,

I went to a meeting near me for the first time 3 weeks ago, it was wonderful to be with like minded people :) we hugged and shook each other hands. There were about 40-50 people present which surprised me, all walks of life. I have already made some new friends and no longer feel as isolated as I did x

Thanks jaybee for the list x

Update on our local one:

I meet more new faces every week, (a couple from Hull on Holiday turned up at ours on Sunday) and our group meets for coffee on a Wed morning, I was able to go yesterday and meet even more new folk.

Another member lives on a farm and has a meet a her place once a fortnight, We made the effort last night and met even more new folk, I think it's wonderful.

We HAVE to start getting away from this whole issue of 'these large corporations rule our life' and start discussing locally where our food comes from and our group is starting to discuss this.

My Mum wanted me to go food shopping with her this morning, I have to agree with what other folk are saying as we are more rural here there were lots of gaps on the 3 supermarkets we went to. (Yes 3 supermarkets, my Mum likes certain things from certain places) I made a point of noticing. For instance down here you never see 'screen wash' (window-screen wash) on the shelves until autumn winter ready for the colder weather but one large conglomerate supermarket has nearly half an isle filled with it!

I have to say of the 3 supermarkets in 2 of them I was the ONLY one not wearing a mask! and nothing was said, of the third most of the staff don't wear a mask and most of the 'new' folk I know enjoy shopping there they feel more welcome... How sad is that statement ?

I also saw a 1min clip from a farmer posted to twitter yesterday proclaiming that there is no food shortage in the UK there is plenty of produce in the fields. They are buying it in bulk and destroying it to create a food shortage. Did anyone else see it? I can't find it now...

I've met so many 'warriors' in the past month I feel inspired... Grab your courage folks and push yourselves forward, we need to win this battle, by OUR means not theirs x

Well, I went to our nearest one, got there at about 7 mins past 10, no one there... :(

It wasn't a wasted trip as we got cheaper car fuel than it costs round here and a few bits of shopping; went back at 10.40 just to see if there was anyone there, but sadly not.

Start it off!! A flag with a smiley face is a good start. My dad who goes to them too has a yellow smiley face flag on a long pole. He always rocks up late though, and a small sub-section of us were talking about expanding to the park literally across the road; it has better visibility from the road.

Also, we're a big-ish group and a new comer is being organisingly annoying, making lists of people (/skills), centralising things. Most like it, just I don't vibe with it lol :). It's a large group so we have an excuse to spread out, so centralised lovers and decentralised people can live side by side in harmony - it's a balance thing. Turns out the annoying organiser is the child of a friend of the family oO - so that's easy for me to trust them, because they're blue red-pilled A-OK. Point is, us decentralised posse are thinking of getting a yellow smiley face version of a windsock dancer sign (video below), that is, if we do a possible spread-out and take over the spare park across the road. Btw the organiser person had arranged a woodland foraging tour because one guy in our group knows about that. It's pretty cool, useful stuff... it's a ying-yang thing. I forget which is which but I'm the one of them that doesn't vibe with centralised lists and top-down efficiency, however well it works :D :cocktail:

It's easy to take these gatherings for granted now. When I first went it was the first sane conversation face to face I'd had with anyone for over a year, sort of being auto-aliened from my friends and family (to a greater or lesser degree)

I really like these windsock dancers, I've spent a little too long thinking about them than is reasonable for my life, but today I found a possible use. Have to see how things pan out, just great ideas atm

Thanks Matthew - I guess I'm just feeling pretty low as I was excited about going then deflated, plus avatar cat's off to the Vee Eee Tee tomorrow (sshh, don't tell her!) and my ebay listings didn't sell despite quite a few watchers... crappy day.

Yes, I might get one going closer to home and see what happens, we have a suitable park. I was heartened to find White Rose stickers in the town's car park so I can't be alone!

Are people in your group happy about a newcomer arriving and taking down names? Yikes, I'd tell him to sling his hook...

Love the windsock, great idea!

...

Its a her, but I'm feeling a lot more relaxed now I know that I know her parents. Her dad red-pilled my dad. They're both pretty red-pilled, it's much of a muchness really. Yes people are freaked out by the list. The split as I see it is decentralised vs centralised(/normal). Peer to peer is the name of the philosophy of decentralised, and the idea can be described as: I deal with people myself directly as a person. I have to admit though, the centralised list is useful because there is a tribe full, and now lots of people have learned about foraging from the guy who we knew, but we didn't know he knew foraging. I believe us decentralised lot can live side by side the list people in harmony.

It's a new way of living folks and we all take time to to adjust to what doesn't seem 'normal' anymore...

If we didn't realise it before we certainly do now know that 'FEAR' in whatever form has been their best 'weapon' that they have used it on us continually over and over and over again over the past 18mths...

Being added to the list is just a way of trying, in this insane world of forming a new community... Well that's what I think Matthew x

Stick with it Brigantia, you should have stayed and stood even if it was just you.. What if you were the umpteenth person to do the same thing? Drive past and declare "well there is no one there so it can't be happening" If you had of stood there, you don't know that others may have joined you?

We had the same thing happen at our 'stand' this morning...

New person Susan "well I drove past at 10am last week and there was no-one there..."
We explained to Susan that most folk don't turn up exactly at 10 am...

Hugs to anyone trying their best to find new folk, who believe what they do x

Here's a funny that no one but the Universe can explain...

I had a friend over (a stand in the park one) and we were chatting in the lounge, hot day so patio doors were open and then out of the blue sky a couple of silver mylar balloons float down and land outside the doors...

What is written on them.... "friends forever"

Explain that one to me ...

Brigantia

Thanks for your post Earthgirl, it's great to have the perspective of someone who's been involved for a while! x

The balloons... wow...

I would have stood in the park if I had been on my own, but not with grumpy other half who just wanted to get to the shops! It was a 20 minute drive to that location, so I think I will get my closest town on the list and go and stand there, even if I'm on my own.
