VOA News, an American funded "news channel' has this to say about the US leaving Afghanistan

EOFkPNTNXCo

He said "The irony of the Kremlin negotiating with a group they consider a terrorist organization", Yet nothing was said about that anymore, but.. Russia is NOT negotiating anything for real with The Taliban!

Then, instead of explaining the last sentence and providing references, they associated Russian opposition to further confuse minds and create miss information by jumping to talk about "Russian opposition's leader Navalny", who has *nothing* to do with The Taliban!

And this is what the US calls "Free Press"

What do you think of this?

I believe it's called propaganda and is standard practice all over western main stream media.

This one is not mainstream and gives the facts clearly about Russia, the Taliban and more:

Thanks, i have seen his channel before, very unbiased, he says it as he sees it and that's very nice

I guess i have only one think to clarify, as far as diplomacy. Being on 'talks' and 'negotiating' are two different things, you can be on talks with the Taliban, just to see what they plan to do, how it fits into what you want to do, and sharing ideas and propositions

Negotiating, comes way later. Once you find common ground on some aspects, then you negotiate treaties and other deals, but this comes once/If the Taliban becomes the actual government, which is not as currently know. Negotiations, So the idea that Russia is negotiating anything with the Taliban is preposterous, it'ls like negotiating how much land can you take from your neighbor's garden, but negotiating it with his living-in cousin, who has no legal ownership

The new narrative seems very weak, "Russia is ally of terrorists that destabilize the middle east, Russia supports and allows terrorist groups that kill people", and the irony of those words or narrative would be historical, if they keep going with it
