Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt
~Juvenal
I’ve nothing against people having hobbies and passions.
It’s just very deflating to see the majority of men so far this summer to be more passionate about the football and rugby and ‘their team’ winning than they are about their freedom and future generations quality of life...

That is why the Olympics has to go on despite Japan is a "high risk" country and many athletes are getting infected with covid. It is damn weird to see the winning athletes standing to the anthem with masks on and also in the interview.
I´m just ignoring this event. More interesting things to do certainly.

You've said it Serenite (Hugs)
We seem to have bread a whole generation of men who have no idea of what is about to happen... I will not give up just yet though, I know there are many Men out there who just need a flipping great nudge in the right direction... Get on it fellas!!! x

Sports per se, no. They are a deep symbol of joy, happiness, ethics, honour, friendly interaction, cooperation and an exaltation of the sacredness of our human body.
But the process of turning them into a commercialized, marketized product that psychologically manipulates the masses while playing a big role in our society's financial inequality, is indeed the result of a planned distraction.

Its also a good programming tool. Competition anyone? Anyways its friendly competition that's why both sides are hell bent on winning, even cheating at times. Isn't friendly competition making the other party happy. boxing and MMA and other skull smashing events are also sports. maybe not friendly competition. But still competition. I used to watch this sports until I realize that there is an odd vibration that becomes alive whenever I do. Watch your vibes always.

I've never personally been interested in watching sports. I've just never understood the interest. I totally agree its a big distraction, but I also believe it has a place in society. Competition is important and I have played many sports, I just cannot stand watching any.

what makes "competition" important, is it better than "cooperation"

Thanks John, Gregg is absolutely correct. My children knew this decades ago. I hope people will wake up to the fact that every single system /field that is popular to the masses is used/being used to program/divide people. Competition= division. time to come together and cooperate.
