They're being forced to prove the sky is blue, even though it's self evident. All their energy is being used to frantically defend the obvious, and I think it's designed that way. That way they don't have the time/energy to do anything productive.

What I especially appreciate are 'the steps to beat the authoritarian regime'. Hope is offered, and that's crucial. I like the suggestion to ridicule thru humor. These lunatics don't understand humor and it frightens them. It exposes all their hypocrisies in a devastating way. That's why humor is slowly being cancelled - it reveals truths in a way nothing else can. But the things that comedians can say are dwindling by the day. What's left when this is done won't be humor, that's for sure. And that's the point of it all

At the beginning of the pandemic, I felt sympathy and pity for those who chose to live in fear. Many had been misinformed by media, politicians, and bureaucrats whose investment in accumulating wealth and consolidating power outweighed any loyalty to ethics, truth, and public welfare. Now, I believe that maintaining that sympathy may be not only undeserved but potentially harmful, because the fear has evolved into something far more dark and destructive: sadism--deriving pleasure from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on another.

In summer 2020, I was banned for life from Delta airlines for drinking water for longer than six minutes on a flight from Atlanta to Moline, Iowa. At least, that was what I was told by the flight attendant, who was apparently carrying a stopwatch and using it to measure the amount of time I spent with my face uncovered after boarding the plane. When the plane landed, the “station manager” escorted me off, prompting a round of applause from the other passengers. I wasn’t personally offended—I interpreted the applause as an expression of relief rather than of contempt. The tirade they had witnessed from the flight attendant had scared them, and my prompt removal from the plane made them feel safe. I felt pity toward them rather than anger.

More than a year later, the situation has changed dramatically. Certainly, there are still many Americans living in fear. Some have been suffering from a state of chronic fear for so long now that a more accurate way to describe them would be “traumatized.” Others, however, have largely overcome their fear and are now leading lives of brazen cruelty toward their fellow man, and they are enjoying every minute of it.

Recently, the famed Leftist academic Noam Chomsky recommended in an interview that those who chose not to be vaccinated should self-segregate. When asked how they would obtain food, he responded that finding a way to eat was “their problem.” His position resembles that of Middle Age European townsfolk who, on discovering a woman had committed adultery, would expel her from the village into the surrounding forest to fend for herself, fully aware she would likely starve to death, unless she was eaten alive by wild animals first. Sadism at its finest.

Nationally syndicated talk-show host (and unvaccinated) Dennis Prager recovered from infection by the coronavirus last month. During his three-day absence from broadcasting, he announced the reason for his taking time off. On his return, he read on-air some of the hundreds of comments made about him by journalists, commentators, and the public that were published online or posted on social media. “I hope you die.” “People like you should be refused treatment.” “You finally got what you deserve.” He explained that none of these comments upset him personally. “I’m not hurt by this, but I do feel sad for my country.” He also apologized for letting these people down by not dying and recovering fully in only three days.

I submit that these examples do not describe fear, or even anger. They exemplify sadism. Americans have begun to take pleasure in seeing other Americans suffer. This sickness appears to be unidirectional. How many examples can be found of pro-medical choice individuals expressly calling for the death of those who support vaccine mandates for all? The few that I have come across have been roundly condemned by people on both sides. Where are the condemnations from the pro-mandate crowd of Noam Chomsky’s genocidal proclamation, or the online commentators rooting for the demise of Dennis Prager, whose only crime is to have publicly announced his personal choice not to be vaccinated?

Australia has completed construction of “quarantine camps” that will presumably hold Australians who refuse the vaccine. These camps will be guarded by the military. Austria has already ordered its police to arrest anyone out in public without a vaccine card. These government-sanctioned crackdowns on the fundamental liberty of bodily autonomy raise comparisons to the Nazi regime. To be fair, no one has yet been interned or executed. That is an important distinction. The justification for the policies, though, is errily similar to what every totalitarian regime uses to legitimize its extra-judicial police powers: Public safety necessitates the elimination of an internal threat. In 1930s Nazi Germany, the internal threat was the Jews. The internal threat today is the unvaccinated. As President Biden is fond of saying, despite unassailable medical evidence to the contrary, “This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated…and our patience is wearing thin.” This talk from a United States president is not only irresponsible, it also encourages the darkest impulses in human beings.

The institution of the mask dehumanized American men and women, just as the veil has dehumanized Muslim women in much of the Islamic world. “He is so ashamed he can no longer show his face in public” is not an empty metaphor. Anonymity coupled with obligatory visual identifiers of group affiliation (like the infamous Jewish yellow star) emboldens unaccountable ugliness and cruelty. When media, politicians, and bureaucrats side with the abuser, they provide both social and legal cover for sadistic acts that only a brief time ago virtually all Americans would have publicly condemned. Now we not only condone intentional cruelty but encourage it. We scowl at the sight of the unwashed forced to hastily consume their restaurant food in an unheated outdoor tent in winter. We smile at the firing of the refuseniks who object to employer mandates, and happily deny them both their pension and unemployment benefits. We celebrate the medical apartheid state that ghettoizes Americans who exercise medical choice. After all, they made their choice. Let them suffer.

I treat children and adults with mental illness. I see the dark side of human nature, and I try to understand it, so that I can treat it. I have no sympathy for the rise of sadism I see in America, and in Americans, today. It is ugly, despicable, and wholly destructive. It is fundamentally anti-American.

“My body my choice” has now been replaced with “Vaccine make free.” And if you don’t agree, they will take pleasure in seeing you off to the camp.

“We had all those conditions. If you remember back before 2019 everyone was complaining, the world doesn’t make sense and we are all isolated from each other.”

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday. He is consumed by anger, anciety, sadness and overwhelm about the state of the world.
I am on the same page as his analyisis of the woke, climate, 911, vax etc. stuff, however I am nowhere near as emotionally invested as him.

I have a lot to say about the former, and, as to the second, I can only guess it is a failure to do likewise.

One of the main reasons it is difficult to affect me is because:


I'm a predator.


That's not the only reason, but probably the most powerful. About twenty years ago I had a phase similar to what Meat Suit described. So I know what that is and I passed through it. The more recent problems I have told Petra about have all been in my space, that is, actual physical things, rather than thoughts about everywhere else in the world. So yes of course I know severe emotional and mental disturbances very well and questions about what is sanity.

I don't know if I have the possibly unfair advantage of types of training from a relatively early age. The kind of stuff we at least post about on the forum, the main difference being I was simply raised in a heritage of the American Revolution in such a manner that the related things I post are thoroughly repetitive. I'm just passing along folk wisdom as represented by "farmers who do not like banks".

I take that, and I go completely Bohemian counter-culture so nothing mainstream has ever been any serious part of my existence. Very little contact with it.

All I know is it's about like being a different species of animal.

I'm doing something completely different from most of them, constantly, from the level of breathing on up.

Furthermore, I'm not a pacifist. The sense of this meaning is much like the Russian expression, the conflict is conflict. My Revolutionary background understands his explanations; almost any of the well-known Russian statesmen can speak for me to a large 80% or so extent. I'm comfortable passing the baton; unfortunately it is difficult to do this with any recent American thing. The only things that grab my attention seem to be problems.

Because I am able to tell there is a suggestion coming at me, that is other than the input I prefer to seek, I use terms like Sorcery and Hypnosis. This is why politicians seem to operate as a hive mind.


One of the clearest examples I could make of black magic concerns an adept from the London School of Economics. I like people from India, I've never met an Indian I didn't like, until this guy showed up, but he was really an Anglicized Indian from Africa.

The problem was that I had been able to work my way into a situation that was rather stable where I had influence on others, and I was able to create that type of environment that is psychologically refreshing. Everything was fine for years, and I was able to support myself. But, as per capitalism, the company I worked for wanted to grow, and therefor put in a "general manager", and got this guy out of another company that at one time had threatened us with a lawsuit.

The thing is he killed the supportive environment I had knit with my own hands.

He'd show up and you could feel peoples' throats choke up and their stomach tie in knots and feel clammy.

That's a serious warning sign, on an animal level, you just went into a fight-or-flight mode, but you're just standing there quietly (meekly).

Does this describe two actual powers that are moving around in the universe?


If you listen to either one of us, we're going to do the same thing -- hypnotize you. The difference is in the intent. Because I am doing this, that kind of person has little effect on me psychologically, but, in terms of force, yes, that went against me and in favor of a more capitalistic enterprise for no other reason and so stated. Take from the person, give to the corporation.

In the world, we have two different kinds of, "management styles" I guess you could say?

On one of my first jobs, someone told me that the reason I am telling you what to do, is so we create an environment that is low-stress and accommodating, so that you want to work here. I was then told there was a strong chance I would be unhappy with any other way of doing things. And it worked. But it's not everywhere. Mostly I find people who are incapable of anything other than telling you what to do.


That makes me positive I have something they don't, and vice-versa.

Back in 2006 Alok Chaturvedi and Tony Cerri drafted the following paper: Sentient World Simulation (SWS): A Continuously Running Model of the Real World.


Introduction
Modeling and simulation quickly becomes out of sync with new events, the emergence of new forces, and newly proposed theories. The goal of the Sentient World Simulation (SWS) is to build a synthetic mirror of the real world with automated continuous calibration with respect to current real-world information, such as major events, opinion polls, demographic statistics, economic reports, and shifts in trends. The ability of a synthetic model of the real world to sense, adapt, and react to real events distinguishes SWS from the traditional approach of constructing a simulation to illustrate a phenomena.

Behaviors emerge in the SWS mirror world and are observed much as they are observed in the real world. Basing the synthetic world in theory in a manner that is unbiased to specific outcomes offers a unique environment in which to develop, test, and prove new perspectives. SWS consists of components capable of capturing new events as they occur anywhere in the world, focus on any local area of the synthetic world offers sufficient detail.

In other words, the set of models that make up the synthetic environment encompass the behavior of individuals, organizations, institutions, infrastructures and geographies while simultaneously capturing the trends emerging from the interaction among entities as well as between entities and the environment. The multi-granularity detail provides a means for inserting new models of any temporal and spatial scales, or for incorporating user-supplied data at any level of granularity. Therefore, SWS can be continuously enriched and refined as new information becomes available.

SWS consists of the following components:


• A synthetic environment that supports Effects Based Approach and a comprehensive representation of the real world at all levels of granularity in terms of a Political, Military, Economic, Social, Informational, and Infrastructure (PMESII) framework.
• A scalable means of integrating heterogeneous components across time and space granularities.
• Mechanisms that discover, gather, and incorporate new knowledge into the continuously running synthetic environment.
• A single façade of user interfaces enabling information from all sources (simulation generated data, parameters for models, and data gathered from the real world) to be searched, viewed and modified in an ontology-aware manner.
• Integrated Development Environments (IDE)s for constructing and configuring new models or modifying existing models and then incorporating these changes into the continuously running synthetic world.
• A means to take excursions from any point in time in the synthetic world to focus on select regions of the world, leverage private user data, or to research specific theories by simplifying the types of models to employ in the excursion.

Near Real Time (SEAS-NRT)
SEAS-NRT consists of human behavior models that are best suited to a short period of time (within hours), such as crowding and rioting, escalation of emotional arousal, and terrorist personnel collaborating in improvised explosive device attacks. Following the fractal approach to representing an environment, the SEAS-NRT models operate on the same entities that SEAS-VIS models operate on. In this way, SEASNRT and SEAS-VIS are coupled together in a Society of Models. Individuals respond to the media and world public opinion models in SEAS-VIS, placing the individual in a dynamic global context, while also enabling the individuals to sense and react to local events in real time.

In short, an early version/prototype of predictive AI that can (and has) been modified and weaponised to influence populations at scale. This has already been used extensively, adopted by entities such as Lockheed, DARPA, NATO, social media platforms, etc..
