A psychic friend advised me today of an imminent "event" either major floods or fire in the North of Scotland and will have much media coverage. she's not one for making such general statements or for instilling panc, but was emphatic and warned me cos I stay in Northern Scotland.

Well, at the complete other-end of the Country, Plymouth, there has been a mass shooting event that has just taken place........... I'm reserving judgement just now as to whether "real" or fabricated.


Sooooo............ There is that.

Quite rare for these shores so maybe she picked-up on "something".

Well what does she expect you to do to protect yourself ?? Are you moving out of Scotland? What can you do ??? Except allow your stress level to go up ...

Prophets of doom have not had a very good track record recently ... I'm sure your psychic friend is a very nice lady , but she should ask herself "What is my aim in going public with this ?... What will it achieve ... What action do I hope people will take ?"

I was lucky enough to get to attend a Celtic vs Ranger match in the early 80's. From start to finish it was a great time! From the first beer in a pub, then walking to the stadium was surreal because I was so excited!

After the game we were walking down the appropriate road and a bus carrying supporters from the other team came down the road - oh yeah, the driver took a wrong turn. I did not see how it all ended, but it did not look promising for the bus I can tell you! :)

We need a football thread (soccer for us North Americans). I am going to start one!
