I heard about this before, but then also read that it had stopped. Yet, in the past 2 weeks, this is the third time i see this same problem

Idea being that if you sort by 'newest' and the video is backdated, it won't show up on your feed, therefore hiding current events by 'alternative news channels' unless you go directly to the channel and look for recent videos.

Most people look at their feed and check the new stuff from there, from their favorite channels, but if the video is backdated 2 years in the past, it won't show up there....

This is how it looks on the feed

This is how it looks if i go directly into the channel for that exact same video

Another very interesting thing is this, if i attempt to load those videos, but using Russian as default language, then this happens

It never finishes loading, i can't see comments or even the description of the video :D

And finally, two other things

1. Once i have looked at the video entry, but never clicked the play button or even auto started, it shows as if i had completely watched it before, also making it not visible as newer videos

And

2. For some of these videos, when i try to play them, i get the 'never ending wheel of pain" from youtube. The video never, ever loads, even after several minutes, but go back and click on any other video and it loads instantly, then go back to the "problematic views video" and try to play it and the wheel of pain comes up forever, again

The re-dating of videos happens a lot. I notice it regularly when i go around finding music. They show you the ones they want to, many already months old (and that i couldn't care less) , while newest productions for some indie discographies remain hidden and labeled older, probably because they dont pay for ads. Ya' friend Aurora, as much as I like her, is good proof of it.

Jokes for them I don't give a damn if its new or old, I just want cool new music.
