I think the chain-smoking may be due in part to how much he puts himself on the line, dealing with so much sensitive material (so much so that youtube censored their recent conversation).
It will likely kill him in the long run, but probably helps him deal with the stress in the short run.
It's kind of heart-breaking to watch though, knowing what a valuable resource he is.
And how much that infectious laugh and great sense of humor will be missed.

I don't think so, I remember listening to him years ago on Red Ice and you'd hear that Zippo click about every 20 minutes! Just a long-time habit, I guess.

High horsepower truther-leaning academics like these two are bound to deliver high horsepower waw factors in their offerings. Lazier thinkers get an automatic acceleration surge from it that can be misunderstood as easily as not.

I enjoy a good DJ interview. He keeps a tight ship of guests rotating and building his moonshot. So much so that I often go back and re listen to them to extract the dregs from each one. I sometimes notice patterns and blind spots.

His enthusiastic 'expertise' has bought him a pass with the youtube censorship gestapo for a very long time, but he's trying a bit harder to prove he's dangerous these days and getting their attention. He has a growing list of deleted videos he's boyishly proud of now.

When Daniel is strong he's Herculean ( e.g. telling the entire front bench of Ufology, including Dolan, they have all been suckered ), when he's weak or lost, he's a cringe because he does it so certainly. An example would be his absolute dismissal of "the driver did it", an increasingly evident likelihood as the Zapruder film facts continue to surface. I could be petty and go on, but I prefer to keep a healthier perspective. The man works his ass off to do what he does, which is a lot. Even that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the crack that blind spots get in through and grow from.

Depends how you assume what "their level" really is about ... all depends in what your long-time focus was/is and on what kind of topics ... they may miss out on 1000s of other topics that are even more important ... so who decides what the best choice is on topics & subjects are and why? ... I think the chain-smoking may be due in part to how much he puts himself on the line, dealing with so much sensitive material (so much so that youtube censored their recent conversation).
It will likely kill him in the long run, but probably helps him deal with the stress in the short run.
It's kind of heart-breaking to watch though, knowing what a valuable resource he is.
And how much that infectious laugh and great sense of humor will be missed.
But who knows, some people with very bad habits live to their nineties. :nod:

Its possible Joseph knows the end is near by the way he smokes cigarettes. It almost look like hes trying to cram it in and make up for lost time.

One of huge mistakes I made earlier was expecting people that are exceptional in some area to be exceptional in all areas. I would sort of mentally write them off if part of their behavior didn't stand up to the quality of another aspect of their lives. An example would be Martin Luther King having extra marital affairs, which I have no way of knowing if this is accurate. I had expectations of him to live a exceptional life in all areas and that was really wrong. First of all, I don't really know anything about his personal life, it was something that I read. What he did with non violent non cooperation to change the fabric of society was a human milestone, the same with Mahatma Gandhi he had his foibles as well.

They are humans and they weren't perfect, and they didn't have to be. I don't know if any human has lived a life 100% in alignment with their principles. You hear of certain ascended master that have, I don't know about them. Our experience here is about learning to utilize our free will. It is possible to have mastered some level that is very beneficial and still fall short in other areas. I can accept that today. Even celebrate it. That doesn't mean I want him to suffer from his what seems to be a very heavy smoking habit but as you say onawah, the material he delves into is very heavy, tough stuff. I can understand needing an outlet.
