Free energy not only challenges the established laws of physics, but the power structure of the entire world, a structure explicitly based on the proliferation of non-renewable energy. The implications of purposefully secreting an entire line of reasoning on the grounds of national security must be examined, especially in light of the significance of such technology.

If there are such blackouts in theoretical science and on the resulting technology, then it must be for the purpose of developing these systems in secret for their own use. But if they do use the tech then the public will become aware of it, so an entire institution has to be built up around the secrets, ready to spin any leaks and control any attempted counter narratives.

Ultimately it must be asked, 'Is it reasonable to assume that such tech would ever be released from the black ops projects for public consumption?'

And before an answer is attempted, remember that this science revolutionizes the entire industrial world and makes obsolete many of its current leading industries. It also threatens to completely upend the social fabric of society, by removing the impetus and appeal of coercive forced compliance to its control systems and governments.

If the paradigm shifts from scarcity to abundance, what need is there for gathering in small groups of like minded to manufacture weapons, and secure borders, and enact specific laws, and create punitive systems of incarceration and punishment - every citizen would be able to defend themselves at little to no cost, and provide the necessities of life for themselves as well.

In light of this, is it not more likely that such a group with secreted information and technology would create a civilization of their own and keep the knowledge to themselves to protect their status and their dominance forevermore?
