Well the days are getting longer again now....the darkest night has passed....
There was a beautiful sunrise at Stonehenge (see above video) and where I live in the Midlands, England -
Luckily the skies were clear on a crisp and frosty morning - I had a candle burning on the window sill and was relaxing in bed tuning in to the Solstice alternatively watching the live stream at Stonehenge and looking out of the window...
then when the sky was turning a beautiful shade of intense pinky red I went into the back garden - the birds were singing happily and it felt like they knew it was a special sunrise.... the sky was stunning .... I took some pictures on my camera thinking I would get a few blown up copies to frame one myself and give as presents - entitled the morning after the longest night - all the different birds were celebrating and I heard the caw of crows and there were two sitting in a tall tree near by - I got a couple of good pics of them in the branches with the red sky behind - (I'd share the pics but it's too difficult from the camera for various reasons...)... they seem to be surveying the scene like the king and queen - there's an old crows nest near where they perched and I expect it was theirs...
I'm not sure how to describe the energy of yesterday... bit hard to pin down ... to me it felt like everything was swirling round and when I tried to gather my thoughts or do anything it was kind of thwarted and the best thing was to just give in and let the day unfold as simply as possible - like stillness and surrender was the easiest path - I had various jobs to do connected with the build up to Christmas Day but they were abandoned and I just made myself feel more in control with that by making a list of things to do the next day :)
On another thread - 'Reversing the Spell' we had talked about ideas for the day and I tuned into a couple of the ideas like The Lord is my Shepherd psalm 23 when the Solstice peaked - and then a Buddhist chant I had found and liked.... the energy was strong as the sun rose and I could feel the emotions stirring, the kundalini energy and the hopes for the earth and for nature and the human race - as we approach a crossroads with everything that's going on ....

thank you, Mike ----
this is where I (randomly) got the picture from - but that's like the sky was round here yesterday morning - stunning - this morning it's more grey and misty... just seen the birds hopping around the branches in my garden waiting for me to take them some seed out :) - I make up a mixture for them + put the fat balls in the hangers - the squirrels have a feed as well but I don't mind - I put peanuts out as well and there seems enough to go round...

jaybee, what a magnificent photo! Just beautiful, thank you so much for sharing it. Photos mean more when you know something about when they were taken and by whom...knowing this was solstice morning is very cool indeed.
Rats, I just read that it wasn't a photo you took...😛 I had wondered because you said it was too difficult to transfer from your camera...but I just went with what I wanted to think!! Great photo and share regardless.

the misunderstanding was my fault - I should have credited the photo source on the first post - sorry about that

Has anyone noticed a shift since the solstice? It seems very intense and powerful to me, also since then we've had the UK press announcing that the Moronic variant really isn't anything to get stressed about... is the tide turning?

Yes it seems to me that i’m hearing more positive things the last days, i myself am in a more “relaxing mode” because my feeling says its turning over to the good side.
