I've always been curious, does anyone pay attention to these posts? Has anyone ever responded to one and made a conversation out of it?...

If anyone happens to read this message, maybe you can please help me...

I saw there was a 6.1 earthquake in Crete recently. I am wondering how to detect... Hmm... I don't know how to describe what I want to say here... Let's say, if we had a globe and I were to push a pencil through Crete, how do I figure out which part of the other side of our planet it would emerge through?

If anyone here could help me learn more about this, I would be very grateful.

Full disclosure: I read somewhere that the phantom islands of Hy-Brasil and Sandy Island are the equivalent of what would be described as 'pencil through one, out the other' .... And I've got some weird theories and ideas about this... Not saying that either of these islands ever existed, but... I'm working on something. :blushing:
