There are tales all around the world of big, hairy, bipedal, ape-like creatures that dwell in the wilderness and leave footprints. But whatever you do, don't call them Bigfoot. From the Patterson - Gimlin film and other sightings to known hoaxes and Bigfoot hunters, this documentary delves deep into the mythology, sightings and people who search out these mysterious beings.

This documentary is a great introduction into cryptozoology, the people who study it and why. Just don't call them bigfoot. Maybe Sasquatch, yeti or Bob, but not Bigfoot.

When The Natives called Kevin Costner "Dances with Wolves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc8NMbrW7mI)" we all get that why that is (after watching the movie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099348/)).

As you do not necessarily being called something you did not chose nor was it given by your parents ... The name "Big Foot" has a similar principle with one important difference: It is a very limited & over-generalizing label for unique beings co-existing with us.

Just adding an observation:

If you go trying to film Sasquatch with trail cams, I think you need to electrically insulate them.
What I mean here is so the cam gives of no electromagnetic radiation, not even small amounts.
I'm sure they can sense such radiation.

And not to mention camouflaging the camera it's self in some way.

They not stupid beings and the above-mentioned must stick out/show up very obviously.

This is the reason why Sasquatch don't want to be filmed or photographed:

Divine Law and Cosmic Order on our home-planet.

Some of us still live thousands of years and see your earthly
kingdoms come and go, like leaves on trees throughout the
seasons, what your first ancestors could achieve when you were
sitting with the immortals in the Star Council. But your people were
later subdued under the control of the rebellious lower lords, and
modified to be more easily submitted. You were bioengineered to
be depending and vulnerable, needing external material support for
your basic survival, like clothing, shoes, fire, shelter, tools or
weapons that my people doesnʼt need to roam wild and free in
every kind of environment. This vulnerability keeps you afraid of
blending with the wilderness through spiritual connection and bound
to the material support offered by your uncivilization, which keeps
you servile and submitted."
