British Columbia RCMP are investigating after a mob of approximately 20 masked people reportedly attacked security guards with axes, smashed their vehicles’ windows and destroyed heavy equipment at a natural gas pipeline site in a remote corner of the province.

One officer was also reportedly injured after someone threw smoke bombs and blazing sticks of wood at police.

Just after midnight in the early hours of Thursday morning, RCMP in Houston BC say they were called to the Marten Forest Service Road deep in the woods at a worksite managed by Coastal GasLink.

It was initially reported that some natural gas pipeline employees were trapped, but it was later discovered that all had managed to safely leave the area.

At the 41 kilometre mark of the service road, police report the roadway had been blocked with “downed trees, tar covered stumps, wire, boards with spikes in them, and fires had been lit throughout the debris.”

Police reported that as they worked their way through the debris and traps, several people threw smoke bombs and flaming sticks at the police, injuring one officer.

About 60 kilometres down the service road, police say they found several pieces of heavy equipment that had been smashed, burned and destroyed, including a work trailer that had its wall ripped off.

A statement by Coastal GasLink on Thursday said that “approximately 20 masked and violent attackers wearing camouflage surrounded and attacked Coastal GasLink workers in a highly planned and dangerous unprovoked assault.”

“This coordinated and criminal attack from multiple directions threatened the lives of several workers. In one of the most concerning acts, an attempt was made to set a vehicle on fire while workers were inside.”

“The attackers also wielded axes, swinging them at vehicles and through a truck’s window. Flare guns were also fired at workers. Workers fled the site for their own safety and remain shaken by this violent incident. Fortunately, there were no physical injuries to Coastal GasLink workers.”

RCMP Chief Superintendent Warren Brown called the incident “a very troubling escalation in violent criminal activity that could have resulted in serious injury or death.”

“This was a calculated and organized violent attack that left its victims shaken and a multimillion dollar path of destruction,” said Brown. “While we respect everyone’s right to peacefully protest in Canada, we cannot tolerate this type of extreme violence and intimidation. Our investigators will work tirelessly to identify the culprits and hold them accountable for their actions.”


Coastal GasLink LNG Pipeline sites in northern BC have repeatedly been subject to vandalism and protests, with numerous arrests by RCMP.

The Morice River pad where these attacks took place was formerly the site of a blockade that lasted 59 days.

“Our work is lawful, authorized, fully permitted and has the unprecedented support of local and Indigenous communities and agreements in place with all 20 elected First Nation councils across the 670 km route,” Coastal GasLink stated on Thursday, adding that the project is almost 60% complete.

This is why i think boycott > protest. Not sure why the truckers have to block the streets. What if they just stay home and refuse to drive. I realize gathering is a way to grab attention and plan , etc. , but it also gives the govt more options to blame and play games.

I was hoping that if the police try to arrest the truckers then, hoards of people show up and it grows. Perhaps it still will.

I think they pushed the vaccine so hard because the higher % that gets vaccinated the easier it is to say that the unvaccinated are a tiny fringe radical group. Then use the annoying fault of people that think, "Hey, I had get the vaccine, those radicals should have to do the same." Man, I really hate this ignorant psychological trait. It's one of the motivators behind abusers as well, I had to suffer abuse, now I will make others feel my pain. sigh.

These authoritarian actions better convince some high level people to get brave and start exposing more. Especially those who know more about the plan and thus know which events are really critical. Might as well make a move right before its too late, for those in the know?

Another important point. Two major universal laws are being violated and probably more than 2.

1. Intentionally creating a schizm amongst the people. (of course this is nothing new, but just amplified during these events.)

2. Invading the human temple/body. Is it just me or is this not a form of rape? The body = Solomon's temple, the most holy, since its all within us !
- There is absolutely no exception, no excuse to override our control of our body. (Abortion involves the baby's body as well, so thats more complicated).
- Can somebody please contact someone with a voice and make this go viral. I think we should start calling it rape. Even the needle is like a penis injecting foreign fluids lol.
- It is impossible for our crappy level of science to claim its safe, especially when science shows a huge increase in severe morbidities (severe ilnesses) from it, plus deaths.
- Scientists are absolutely neanderthals in their understanding of biology and its infinite complexity. The arrogance is sickening.

This is about having authority over our bodies (the interior). Giving them that power is about as low as it can go. I wish the truckers would talk on these lines as well. You cant just force something like this due to ignorance of science and potential for corruption. Sorry, but despite what the brainwashed think, 0 corruption is never a given.

I searched for news on this and found an article on the Post Millenial about the trampled disabled woman but the reporter also said that they got conflicting reports of injury or death.
On Facebook though I found some posts from people that said the lady got a dislocated shoulder and was confirmed by her niece but someone else had a heart attack.
Horrible in any case and if the lady is alive I wish her a speedy recovery.

interviewed a Trucker that was arrested today and released later and also some peaceful protesters that were arrested , taken away from downtown Ottawa, then later put on a bus and released.
None are charged! But the trucker said that he got a warning if they catch him in the Red Zone (downtown), they will arrest him. I don’t know what’s happened to his truck. The peaceful protesters were also given a similar warning not to return.

“I can confirm that this is the first successful. Mareva order in Canada targeting Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchanges,” Paul Champ, lawyer for the residents of Ottawa—the plaintiffs—told The Globe and Mail.

The Canadian government is involved in an ongoing effort to seize protestors’ funds. The freeze order, a separate process, is aimed at potentially redistributing the funds—about $20 million at the time of writing—to Ottawa citizens. The redistribution would only occur if the lawsuit against the convoy succeeds.

The order was issued by Justice Calum MacLeod, who has told the convoy protestors that they are restrained from “selling, removing, dissipating, alienating, transferring,” any of the assets that have been raised in relation to the ongoing protests.
Keith Wilson, a lawyer who is representing the convoy protestors, told The Globe and Mail via email today that “we have not been served with the order or related court documents.”


Ottawa protests and Bitcoin

The convoy, dubbed the “Freedom Convoy” by supporters, has congregated near Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The protestors, per The Globe and Mail, successfully raised about $10 million on a GoFundMe page before the fundraising platform took the page down.

What does the Mareva order do?

The Ontario court’s Mareva order specifically targets entities that have been confirmed as holding assets for the convoy itself—like established Canadian banks including TD Canada Trust and ATB Financial.

The order has also aimed its crosshairs at 150 cryptocurrency wallets. Jeffrey Booth, a Vancouver entrepreneur, has reportedly been named in the order.

“We will be forced to comply. If you’re worried about it, don’t keep your funds with any centralized/regulated custodian. We cannot protect you. Get your coins/cash out and only trade peer to peer,” Powell tweeted.

TORONTO: The Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) has announced it is launching a legal challenge to the federal government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act. The challenge will be by way of urgent application for judicial review at the Federal Court.

“Prime Minister Trudeau has set a dangerous precedent by invoking the never before used federal Emergencies Act to address the current situation. The high threshold for declaring a public order emergency in the Emergencies Act has not been met. The Act has been invoked to address a failure to use existing legal tools under the Criminal Code, which were used effectively on the Ambassador Bridge. The federal government has invoked the Emergencies Act as a matter of political convenience. This is illegal and violates the rule of law, and that’s why we are challenging the government in court,” said CCF Litigation Director, Christine Van Geyn.

The Emergencies Act was enacted to replace the discredited War Measures Act, which was used during the Second World War to intern Japanese Canadians and Italian Canadians, and during the FLQ Crisis in Quebec. The Act is drafted carefully and narrowly, to ensure the federal government cannot abuse emergency powers ever again. The Act defines a national emergency as “an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that (a) seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it, or (b) seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada”. It also requires that the federal government demonstrate that this situation cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada.

“Emergency legislation should not be normalized. The threshold for using the Emergencies Act is extremely high and has not been met. The decision to invoke the Emergencies Act, which has never been used or interpreted by the courts, is unprecedented. If Parliament authorizes the proclamation of the public order emergency, the courts will be the last defence for the rule of law”, continued Van Geyn. “This isn’t about the convoy versus the city. This is about the rule of law.”

The CCF is represented by lawyers Sujit Choudhry and Janani Shanmuganathan.

Former Waterloo police chief hired as Ottawa chief withdraws
A former Waterloo police chief who was hired for Ottawa’s top job, only to have the person who hired him turfed from her position, has withdrawn from the job.

Coun. Diane Deans was turfed as police services board chair Wednesday night after she hired Matt Torigian to replace Chief Peter Sloly, who resigned earlier this week amid the trucker convoy protests.

Torigian signed a contract and was due to start the job in the next few days. But he has withdrawn and won’t be asking for any compensation, Mayor Jim Watson said in a memo to the police board on Thursday.

As police and “Freedom Convoy” demonstrators faced off in downtown Ottawa on early Saturday morning, police turned physical towards the protest line, deploying riot suppression devices and striking multiple protesters.

On Saturday, the gridlock continued as police, who formed a line in front of the protesters, attempted to push back against demonstrators gathered at the city center.

Amid loud pops, Rebel News's Quebec-based reporter Alexa Lavoie was directly hit by police during the melee, injuring her.

Prior to the melee, at least two police officers can be seen accidentally dropping some of their less-lethal firearms and attempting to pick them back up as other officers push back the line.

According to police early Saturday, officers will attempt to retake more streets from demonstrators in the city’s downtown core, where more than 100 checkpoints remain to keep more protestors from entering Ottawa.

I just spoke with Alexa Lavoie, our brave reporter who was just assaulted by Trudeau's police," said Ezra Levant. "She tells me a cop hit her three times with a club and then shot a tear gas canister at her leg from point-blank range. Trudeau has instructed his police to attack journalists."

"Alexa says she was specifically targeted by a cop who saw her camera. She says he came up to her and beat her and pushed her down. She says he tried to knock the phone out of her hands, to stop her from filming," Levant added, noting that police were captured on film beating a woman with a stick, and shooting her at point-blank range with a tear gas round.

"I have spoken with Alexa and with legal counsel. We will sue the police on Alexa's behalf. I know the rest of the Media Party is delighting at Trudeau's brutality and martial law. But we still believe in peace and freedom," said Levant.

Last July, Lavoie made the waves when she had the opportunity to ask Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a question at a debate and had her microphone terminated.

Rebel News journalist David Menzies was previously assaulted by Trudeau's RCMP security detail on Dec. 9.

A group of 23 Jewish scientists, doctors, and academics issued an open letter on Friday to Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, saying they are “deeply concerned” about how he had been describing protesters in Canada who have been demonstrating against COVID-19 mandates and restrictions since late January.

One of the authors of the letter, Stanford Professor of Biophysics Michael Levitt, who was awarded one-third the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2013, shared a copy of the letter on Twitter.

“In recent weeks, we have been following the news about the Freedom Convoy 2022 protests that have taken place in Canada. … We witnessed, with mourning concern, how instead of a constructive dialog with the protesters, you adopted a smear-by-association campaign, portraying the protesters as ‘Nazi sympathizers,’ ‘racist,’ and ‘antisemitic,’” the group said in their letter.

“The last incident was your allegation on February 16 that a Jewish member of the Conservative Party was ‘standing with people who wave Swastikas,’” they added.

Trudeau made the comment in Parliament during Question Period amid debate over a blockade in Ottawa and Trudeau’s declaration of a State of Emergency on Feb. 14. Trudeau is the first prime minister to invoke the Emergencies Act since it became law in 1988.

Melissa Lantsman, a conservative member of parliament for Thornhill in the House of Commons, told the chamber that Trudeau “fans the flames of an unjustified national emergency” by having described the protesters as “‘very often misogynistic, racist,’ ‘women haters,’ ‘science deniers,’ the ‘fringe.’”

She then asked, “So, Mr. Speaker, when did the Prime Minister lose his way? When did it happen?”

Trudeau responded, “Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas. They can stand with people who wave the Confederate flag.

“We will choose to stand with Canadians who deserve to be able to get to their jobs, to be able to get their lives back. These illegal protests need to stop and they will.”

House Speaker Anthony Rota followed up, telling the chamber,”I just want to remind the honourable members, including the Right Honourable Prime Minister, to use words that are not inflammatory in the House.” However, Trudeau did not withdraw his comment.

Lantsman, a descendant of Holocaust survivors, said on Twitter that Trudeau falsely accused her of standing with a Swastika. “What a disgraceful statement unbecoming of anyone in public office—he owes me an apology,” she wrote.

In the letter on Friday, the Jewish group of scientists, doctors, and academics expressed disapproval of Trudeau’s recent rhetoric.

“We, an apolitical group of Jewish Israeli medical scientists, physicians, researchers, and legal scholars, some of us second or third generation Holocaust survivors, are deeply concerned by your attempt to stigmatise the Freedom Convoy 2022 protesters as Nazi ideology supporters,” they wrote.

“The important fight against antisemitism should not be weaponized and directed at a legitimate civil protest which aims at restoring fundamental liberties, to what used to be, until not long ago, one of the freest countries in the world.”

The Epoch Times has reached out to Trudeau’s office for comment on the letter.

Late on Friday, Trudeau wrote on Twitter, “Illegal blockades and occupations have threatened businesses, endangered jobs, and obstructed communities for three weeks now. This week, to restore public order and protect Canadians as the situation evolves, our government invoked the Emergencies Act.”

“We’ll continue to make sure municipal, provincial, and federal authorities have the resources they need, and do whatever is needed to keep people safe and get the situation under control—and we’ll make sure your rights and freedoms are protected,” he added. “That remains our top priority.”

Protesters have expressed offense at Trudeau’s recent comments that have portrayed them as racist or hateful, The Epoch Times previously reported. Trudeau previously said the protesters are a “fringe minority’ who hold “unacceptable views” and espouse conspiracy theories.

Protesters on Parliament Hill for the most part have been carrying Canadian flags. Some images were circulating on social media that showed Nazi symbols on flags, while other videos on social media showed protesters telling those holding hateful signs to leave.

Some local reports have also stated that people opposed to vaccine mandates have likened Canada’s mandates to the persecution of Jews by the Nazis.

The protest started in late January as a show of defiance. Truckers opposed the Canadian government’s vaccine mandate that started on Jan. 15 for truckers who often cross the United States-Canada border. It has since evolved into a large movement joined by people from across Canada to oppose different COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

Vehicle convoys came to Ottawa on Jan. 29, and many have stayed in the city, with trucks and other vehicles parked by Parliament Hill. Since then, various protest convoys have been set up in different parts of Canada.

Early on in the protest, Trudeau has said he wouldn’t be meeting with the protesters—he said he wouldn’t go anywhere near demonstrations “that have expressed hateful rhetoric, violence towards fellow citizens, and a disrespect not just of science, but of the front-line health workers.”

Following the invocation of the Emergencies Act, two lead organizers of the Freedom Convoy protest, Chris Barber and Tamara Lich, were arrested in Ottawa on Thursday. Ottawa’s interim police chief warned on the same day that action to remove Freedom Convoy demonstrators was “imminent.”

Lich, at a press conference on Feb. 14, said that protesters “will remain peaceful” despite the government’s use of the Act.

Despite the arrests, many protesters still remain in Ottawa. In early February, Lich said the protesters won’t be leaving until the government lifts the COVID-19 mandates.

“We’re not coming here to be aggressive or hateful or cause violence,” she told The Epoch Times. “We’re going to be staying in for as long as it takes. We’re not leaving until Canada is free.”

It was all fun and games making Trudeau/Hitler memes until yesterday when Trudeau’s enforcers on horseback trampled an old woman.

A man with any sense of decency does not send men on horseback into a crowd. The only thing worse than that are the people commenting on this saying some variation of ‘well, she deserved it.’

Yes, she could have gone home.

Yes, she could have gotten the clot-shot.

Yes, she could have just complied with whatever Justin Trudeau told her what her morality was.

But Trudeau could have chosen differently as well. As opposed to acting like a scared little boy worried about facing public ridicule, he could have sacked up and met with the protestors.

Instead, he did what all boy-emperors have ever done, he chose violence and intimidation.

Those who blame the victims are worse than Justin Trudeau. They will never admit it, even to themselves, but their belief in the state as moral arbiter is shaken to its foundation when things like this happen.

So they bluster about playing stupid games, win stupid prizes. Empathy? Who needs that in Davos’ Brave New World.

It's becoming clearer as the days of Trudeau's Liberals wear on: if elected Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau would turn Canada into a dictatorship.

This is the man who admitted he "admires China's basic dictatorship." It wasn't just a sarcastic comment - he seriously said that he admires the dictatorship because they can get things done quickly.

And it's becoming clearer that Trudeau not only admires the dictatorship -- he runs the Liberal Party like one too.

How else can one explain the police-enforced acclamation of Andrew Leslie as the Liberal candidate for Orleans? Even with hundreds of Liberals attending the meeting to show their support for another candidate (and former Trudeau leadership rival), it was clear from the beginning that Leslie was Trudeau's hand-picked favourite, and certainly wouldn't be stopped by pesky processes like "democracy."

Just the imagery of Trudeau's chosen candidate being selected with police intervention is scary. It shows that Trudeau doesn't just admire China's dictatorship -- he would practice one if he had the chance.

The nomination in Orleans is only the latest rigged "open nomination." Despite Trudeau's promises to actually, you know, practice democracy, at least a half dozen Liberal nominations have been rigged or tampered with through the direct intervention of Trudeau's office: mysteriously disqualifying candidates, changing nomination dates, paperwork going "missing," and using dirty "back-room" politics to ensure the leader's candidate is chosen at any cost.

But those are only Liberal candidates; surely Trudeau would loosen his grip on his caucus colleagues once they've been elected, wouldn't he? Unfortunately, no. The Liberal caucus randomly learned one morning early last year that their leader had come up with a new diktat: that all Liberals would be expected, no, required, to vote pro-choice. When Trudeau's pathetic attempted defence (that they were "the party of the Charter," obviously missing those small sections about freedom of conscience and religion) agitated more than a few Liberal MPs, he attempted to invent some weird "grandfathering" rule. But then he went back on that too.

The result is that Liberal MPs who dare question the diktat of Trudeau are being punished. Those who dare disagree have already been punished, resigned, or indicated that they won't seek another term in office -- at least not under the iron fist of Trudeau.

Or we can look to the expulsion of those kinda-sorta-maybe "Senate Liberals," who were unilaterally expelled (but not really) by Trudeau without the slightest consultation with the Senate Liberal leadership.

The Liberal Party under Justin Trudeau has become a dictatorship. The leader of that party does what he wants, when he wants, and no one dares question him.

Now that we know that Trudeau runs his party like a dictatorship, we must ask ourselves: is there any indication he wouldn't do the same as the leader of Canada?

That Kim Goguen video was really disturbing to me. It looks like we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Certainly all eyes are on Canada right now, if she falls we're next. I live in Maine and we've had this battle with CMP and the State of Maine over them making this corridor that runs right thru the state from Canada to deliver power to MA. Throughout the entire duration of the Freedom Convoy 2022’s existence, there has been a lot of ironic juxtapositions between the way convoy supporters and left-wing counterprotesters have been behaving.

At no point has any trucker or convoy supporter gotten violent, while at the same time ANTIFA members are running over convoy supporters protesting in Winnipeg.

After a self-identified “cyber-terrorist” hacked GiveSendGo and released the names and information of people who donated to the Freedom Convoy 2022 on the platform, it was not convoy supporters that started making threats, it was anti-convoy activists who threatened business owners who donated to the cause.

And now in the clearest possible juxtaposition between the way the Freedom Convoy is conducting itself compared to other left-wing movements, last night a group of ax-wielding ecoterrorists attacked a Coastal Gaslink Pipeline worksite in British Columbia.

They attacked security guards on the scene and according to some reports, one RCMP officer was injured. Several million dollars of damages were done to the Gaslink worksite with several structures and vehicles being severely damaged.

The company said that the ecoterrorists had even tried to set fire to a vehicle while some workers at the site were still in it.

All this happening at the same time that police in Ottawa are beating peaceful convoy supporters for attending a lawful protest that the Emergencies Act cannot arbitrarily criminalize.

This is not to say that the RCMP is not taking the attack on the Gaslink site seriously, they clearly are, the issue is the intensity with which the government goes after the different movements.

Because the Liberal federal government sees the Freedom Convoy as a political threat to them, in terms of their popularity, they are applying more pressure to them than they ever would to track down and arrest actual terrorists destroying millions of dollars in private property, and almost murdering pipeline workers.

Trudeau Government Moves to Make Expanded Surveillance Powers over Financial Transactions ‘Permanent’

As all eyes were trained on the aggressive police sweep of the Ottawa trucker convoy this week, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau’s administration was quietly moving to implement a sweeping expansion of surveillance power at the federal level.

The Trudeau government’s financial war against the truckers has been covered at length. But one underreported aspect of this broader assault on Canadian civil liberties is the effort to bring crowdfunding and payment service providers — two of the most prominent routes for financial transactions on the Internet — under the permanent control of a centralized government authority.

In a February 14 news conference, Canadian finance minister Chrystia Freeland said that the government was using the Emergencies Act to broaden “the scope of Canada’s anti-money-laundering and terrorist financing rules so that they cover crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use.” That broadened power requires all forms of digital transactions, including cryptocurrencies, to be reported to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada. (I.e., “Fintrac”). “As of today, all crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use must register with Fintrac, and they must report large and suspicious transactions to Fintrac,” Freeland said. She justified the move as a way to “mitigate the risk” of “illicit funds” and “increase the quality and quantity of intelligence received by Fintrac and make more information available to support investigations by law enforcement.” Trudeau, standing behind Freeland at the press conference, nodded his head in agreement.

Freeland said the trucker convoy, which had assembled to protest coronavirus restrictions, had “highlighted the fact” that digital assets and funding mechanisms “weren’t captured” by the Canadian government’s pre-existing surveillance powers. As a result, she said, “the government will also bring forward legislation to provide these authorities to FinTrac on a permanent basis.”
Freeland reiterated that point in a subsequent press conference this past Friday. “We reviewed very, very carefully the tools at the disposal of the federal government, and we used all the tools that we had prior to the invocation of the Emergencies Act, and we determined that we needed some additional tools,” she said. “Now some of those tools, we will be putting forward measures to put those tools permanently in place. The authorities of FinTrac, I believe, do need to be expanded to cover crowdsourcing platforms and their payment providers.”

We already know what the Canadian government would do with that permanent power. They’re showing us as we speak. As Kevin Williamson wrote earlier this week, Trudeau has promptly weaponized his expanded Emergencies Act powers to “invest himself with the unilateral power to freeze bank accounts and cancel insurance policies, without so much as a court order and with essentially no recourse for those he targets.” That punitive action against political dissidents expands beyond the truckers themselves: On Wednesday, Trudeau’s justice minister suggested that private citizens who donated large sums to the convoy “ought to be worried” about the possibility of a freeze on their bank accounts, too. At least one young woman has already been fired from her job in the Ontario provincial government for making a $100 donation.

All this, of course, flies in the face of Trudeau’s promise that the Emergencies Act powers would be temporary. When he announced his invocation of the order, he promised the Canadian people that his expanded authorities would “be time-limited, geographically targeted, as well as reasonable and proportionate to the threats they are meant to address.” Not a single part of that sentence has proved to be true.

The world has watched, in pain, as images of police violence from Ottawa, and of a bid for Canadian tyranny (that I would ever write those words!) are flashed around the world.

As usual, I hate to be Cassandra; but the chessboard ahead is all too clear. On Feb 12, 2022, I warned, during an appearance on Steve Bannon’s WarRoom, that we all must all now brace for a period during which the powers that now clearly seek to enslave our planet, and subdue our human species, will be broadcasting scenes of civil society mayhem, and of shocking violence against protesters.

I also predicted that there would be food shortages and other economic harms that would be blamed on the protesting truckers, and I warned too that people should print out their bank and any liquid asset records, as there would be cyberattacks on financial institutions and the freezing of accounts. All of that, of course, took place in the week that followed.

I recently received a kind note on social media thanking me for my bulletins about the near future as it helped people, the writer explained, to stave off shock and disorientation. I have often spoken about how tyrants rely on just these effects of shock and disorientation to “tenderize” a targeted population, so I will keep alerting you all to the near future, as unpleasant as that task can be.

So in this essay I wish to explain, especially to Canadians, what martial law really is, and how very dangerous it is, since many leaders there, especially Parliamentarians, appear to be in the treacherous “hangover” state of thinking that they still inhabit the old world that died when Justin Trudeau declared emergency law. I also wish to warn what happens historically at this moment in the decline of a formerly democratic nation, and what the murder of Canadian democracy — at least for now — means to the rest of the world.

Parliamentarians in Canada do not seem to understand that now their former colleague, Justin Trudeau, can arrest not just truckers, whose lawful protest has been declared illegal, but also the Parliamentarians themselves. This is, sadly, the next step in this kind of drama, historically. It is an extraordinarily dangerous sign that Parliament is not seated. When the Australian Parliament was suspended, by the time they reconvened, their powers had been dramatically curtailed. Tyrants seek to normalize the convening of Parliaments as “optional” or to suspend normal Parliamentary processes long enough to hollow out a legislative body’s deliberative powers, and to ensure that when and if a Parliament (or a Congress, for that matter) meets again, it will be merely a ceremonial assembly.

Parliamentarians in Canada also do not seem to understand that “dictator” is no longer rhetorical. A member of Parliament was shushed when he cried out this epithet, but the fact is that this is not a slur at this point. Justin Trudeau is by definition now in fact a dictator.

At this stage in history, you do not go back to a previous state of civil society order without arrests, though hopefully you can do so without civil war. Historically, when a would-be dictator has reached this point in the suspension of democratic processes and has sought this level of a power grab, his arrests of the opposition’s leaders, on trumped-up charges, come next. Also arrested at this point are labor leaders, outspoken members of the clergy, and independent journalists and editors.

Beware the word “incitement”; the next stage is an edict that casts criticism of what Trudeau is doing, as a crime, or an act of violence.

At this stage in history, too, the identity of the security forces are at issue. Who are these frighteningly gas-masked, uniformed, extremely violent men represented as police in the streets of Ottawa? For that matter, who are the masked, black-uniformed, extremely violent men represented as police beating the protesters in Paris, a week ago?

It is not easy to get police and military to enforce violence upon their own people, their own neighbors and community members. A real danger at this point in the overthrow of a democracy (for that is what happened in Canada in this past week) is the deployment of militias accountable not to the people but to the newly minted dictator. This happened in Italy when Mussolini sought control, in Germany when the National Socialists sought power, and so on. Remember that there are mercenary armies around the world, such as those run by Xe, formerly Blackwater, for hire [https://www.xecompany.us/]; remember that the Southern border of the United States is wide open and many observers have reported a massive influx of young adults of military age traveling alone [https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/us-agents-encounter-single-adults-crossing-border-77661358]. With an open border in North America, a mercenary army can flow not just into Canada, if permitted by border guards directed by a would-be dictator; they can also flow into strategic points in the United States.

But Parliamentarians and heads of provinces in Canada should be aware that those violent entities in the streets of Ottawa may be loosed against them, as well as against other hapless citizens trying to make use of their Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, of course, guarantees freedom of speech and expression, peaceful protest, and assembly.

The crowdfunding site GiveSendGo became the biggest fundraising site for the protest convoy after GoFundMe shut down a previous campaign. The site was illegally hacked and the donor data was made public on Sunday evening. (Blair Gable/Reuters)
An analysis of postal codes associated with donations to the Freedom Convoy show the highest concentration of Manitoba's donations came from the province's south — specifically, the Steinbach, Altona and Morden-Winkler areas.

The data — hacked illegally and released publicly late Sunday evening — shows approximately 1,200 people with Manitoba postal codes donated about $145,000 US through the crowdfunding website GiveSendGo.

About 20 per cent of those donations came from addresses located in the three postal codes that cover the southeastern part of Manitoba.

Chris Adams, an adjunct professor of political studies at the University of Manitoba, said he was not surprised by what the data revealed.

"These are regions where, as I understand it from health reports, that vaccination rates have not been as high as other parts of the province," he said.

"This is the area where we've seen public protests like we saw in Steinbach … so I'm not surprised this kind of fits into some of the news we've been reading about lately."

Doctors, profs, business owners donate to convoy

A higher concentration of donations was also found in pockets of Manitoba such as East St. Paul, the postal code that covers the Brandon area and in the eastern Manitoba postal code that covers Beausejour and Oakbank.

When you click on any location bubble, full name, date, amount of donation and postal code of donor is given. I only got through half of this before it became too frustrating to listen to. I love these two guys but hearing them dance bizzarely around ANY possible reason for why the Canadian government is doing any of this, and not to come up with ANYTHING of substance, which actually makes sense, as to WHY, was too much for me.

We're not 'lowly plebs', just better able to see through BS. Cognitive dissonance is no respecter of brains, but it does tend to make itself known in those who have been in some way indoctrinated, whether through higher education (University) or other academic institutions, so it mainly affects the middle classes. The working class, which I proudly represent, has had a long history of being downtrodden, underrepresented....therefore we have a much more robust sense of distrust of authority so our BS antenna would've been truly on active service when this whole 'covid' scam erupted. This is terrible - there is a map circulating on FB showing "drops" all over it which represent a GiveSendMe donor. When you click on any location bubble, full name, date, amount of donation and postal code of donor is given. Awful that something that contains such personal details of a person is so carelessly posted on a social media site.

A recent poll has revealed that a majority of American Democrats approve of the Canadian Prime Minister's crackdown on the freedom protestors in Ottawa after he invoked the Emergencies Act early last week.
In a poll conducted by the Trafalgar Group and Convention of States Action obtained by The Daily Wire, it revealed that 55 percent of likely general election voters overall disapprove of Trudeau's handling of the protestors in Ottawa and beyond.

35 percent overall approved of Trudeau’s crackdown, while 10 percent said they were unaware of what's happening to the US' northern neighbor.

Looking at Democrat likely voters alone, 65 percent said they favored Trudeau’s crackdown on the protestors, and 17 percent said they disapproved.

Republicans, on the other hand, more strongly disproved of Trudeau's heavy-handed tactics, with 87 percent saying the disapprove and just 8 percent approving.

Of those who do not affiliate with a party, 74 percent said they disapproved of Trudeau's actions, while 21 percent approved.

The Trafalgar Group surveyed 1,080 likely general election voters between February 18 and 20, as police forces began cracking down on protestors in Ottawa that had congested the city for over three weeks demanding freedom from COVID-19 policies, including vaccine mandates. The poll's margin of error is 3 percent.
Demographic groups that approved of Trudeau’s tactics are the 65 and older category, as well as blacks and Hispanics.

All other demographics, including men, women, Asians, white, and the younger age groups, disapproved of the heavy-handed federal action.

The highest level of disapproval was seen in the 25 to 34 age demographic, where 100 percent said they disapprove of Trudeau's tactics regarding the protestors.




This shows just how successful the MSM propaganda is, in keeping the Dems fast asleep.

Twenty years ago no one was described by their race or skin color in such a cavalier fashion.

And white people were not called racist, white supremacists, domestic terrorists and misogynists. Please remember we are still the majority. How has this come to pass? Are our leaders doing us a major disservice, turning the tide of public opinion on people with white skin in self deprecation? Our leaders are still white for the most part. Do they hate themselves as well, or only the trailer trash, conservative, patriot, low income version of the skin color?

How can a majority white country actively import every color of skin and then start the rhetoric of racism, labelling the newcomers POC? POC? They actually mean every color but the majority white skin color, as in visible minority, which is the correct term to specify those that feel like they stick out in the crowd. It was always the term used officially until very recently. It is a term, like natural immunity, that lost favor with our betters.

With natural immunity off the table, vaccines could be mandated as the only reliable option. Without visible minorities, the white skinned can be targeted as the source of all society's woes. I imagine the Tower of Babel had similar problems initially, until the diversity finally reached a critical mass and communication and cohesion broke down altogether. The tower collapsed because of the unbridgeable divide in civility due to the language obstacle foremost, but it is the deteriorating social fabric that provided the impetus towards chaos. As the authorities redefine, rewrite, reword, and remove common phraseology, they confuse the civil norms until there are no more norms. That's when the freak show starts. And it has.

A government that does not protect the majority is doomed, given fair elections.?.

A government that votes for war measure powers to curb the tongues of the dissenters, in direct violation of the charter of rights and freedoms, which by the way clearly distinguishes any discrimination based on skin color as a major violation, is itself racist, divisive, and unethical. It can even be seen as insurrection based on the violation mentioned above, since it contravenes the conventions of democratic rule.

An entire body politic, from all sides of the spectrum voting to allow the reigning government to implement such drastic measures is treason and must be considered an overthrow of our political system. This is no longer a democracy.

This society has grown soft and fat. It has forgotten that democracy is the hardest of all forms of governance because it requires active participation. Sometimes democracy requires the blood of patriots, like our grandparents were called to serve. Canadians rallied in their streets and marched to the recruitment office together. Platoons were named after the names of the streets where they all came from, in the big war.

But we have grown fat with all the freedom they bought us with their young lives.

Will we rally together in the face of this new threat to freedom?

The cost is high now, both to do something or to do nothing.

The question now is:
Do we prefer to grow callouses on our feet as we march in defiance?
Or on our knees as we grovel in supplication?

Still the truckers would say, we want to sit down and talk with the new leader, and I dont see how authoritarians can do that, other than maybe as just a fake controlled show. A public debate isnt going to go well for them. I think I remember someone talking to some PR guy, and they asked him why the vaccine people dont show up for debates. He said, "It doesn't go well for us." Unless im confusing with some other issue.

Unless they mean that trudeau is a liability to waking up too many ostriches. So, making a change and putting in a female (the left loves that) will help keep the happy trance going.

Judge who denied bail to Freedom Convoy organizer ran for Liberals in 2011
The Ontario judge who denied Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich bail on Tuesday ran as the federal Liberal candidate for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell in 2011.

Julie Bourgeois, who was a Crown attorney when she ran, came in second place for the Liberals in the 2011 federal election, losing to former Conservative MP Pierre Lemieux.


Bourgeois also made 71 donations to the federal Liberals from 2009 to 2014, ranging in amounts from $5 to $1,186.

During her failed campaign, Bourgeois spoke about how tough times led people to commit crimes.

“Not necessarily major crime,” she said. “You see desperate people going through desperate times.”

Justin Trudeau himself had also praised Bourgeois in a campaign video.

“Her vision, her authenticity, her strength is going to be an amazing asset,” said Trudeau in a video from 2011, before he became Liberal leader. “Both for the people of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell but also to everyone in the House of Commons after the next elections when I will have, hopefully, the honour of sitting beside her in the House.”

Lich, who is facing counselling to commit mischief charges, was denied bail on Tuesday.

“I cannot be reassured that if I release you into the community that you will not reoffend,” Bourgeois said in her decision.

The judge said the convoy’s effect on Ottawa was immense and that Lich was stubborn in her responses to the court during her bail hearing. She said that the organizer’s detention “is necessary for the protection and safety of the public.”

The revelation that the judge was a failed Liberal candidate came when prominent Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan B. Peterson posted an email from a tipster on Tuesday.
“Said judge did not recuse themselves for a perceived conflict, nor did the organizing judge take issue with assigning this care to them,” said the tipster. “Even to a former Yugoslav like me, I am surprised.”

Ontario ministry confirmed that 12 Suspension n Seizure Orders were issued to Ontario-based large truck operators involved in the Assembly, suspending their operating authority throughout Canada, and issuing an order to seize all the plates registered to them.
Twenty-seven seizure orders were issued to large truck operators from outside the province, banning them from operating any commercial motor vehicle in Ontario.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Wednesday that his government would be revoking his implementation of the Emergencies Act.

“The situation is no longer an emergency. Therefore, the federal government will be ending the use of the Emergencies Act,” said Trudeau.

“We are confident that existing laws and by-laws will be sufficient to keep people safe.”
Trudeau argued that giving his government sweeping powers was “the response and necessary thing to do,” in response to the freedom convoy.

A joint committee of parliamentarians will now review the government’s decision to declare a national emergency within 60 days, as required by the legislation.

Trudeau’s revocation of the Emergencies Act comes days after the House of Commons approved the use of the unprecedented law – thanks to the parliamentary support of Jaghmeet Singh and the New Democratic Party.

Canadian Prime Minister has revoked the controversial order that had given the government sweeping powers to crack down on mandate protesters

Wednesday evening, Trudeau said that the situation is "no longer an emergency." The Canadian leader referred to the expanded authority given to law enforcement, which included targeting protesters' funding, as "time-limited extra tools" that had helped the police to lift blockades plaguing downtown Ottawa.

Trudeau said he is "confident" now that "existing laws and bylaws" are "sufficient to keep people safe."

He, however, appeared to signal that the federal government was ready to step in if the situation goes awry.

"We will continue to be there to support local and provincial authorities if and when needed", the PM said.

Nearly 200 people have been arrested as police cracked down on the Freedom Convoy protests, with over 100 facing various charges. Organizers like Tamara Lich were also arrested last week. The prime minister's decision, which takes effect Wednesday evening, came only two days after Canadian lawmakers greenlighted the extension the emergency powers. At the time, Trudeau that the situation was "fragile" and still an "emergency."

Overall, 27 seizure orders were issued to large truck operators from outside Ontario, banning them from operating any commercial motor vehicle within the province.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has shut down 39 trucking businesses following the end of the “Freedom Convoy” trucker-led protests in Ottawa, several weeks after the protests first began.

Over the past weekend, police forces made over 200 arrests and ended the protests, which Canadian Prime Minister described as an “illegal occupation” of the city’s downtown core. Ottawa Police state it has towed 115 vehicles during the protests.

The local ministry confirmed to TruckNews.com that it had released 12 suspension and seizure orders to Ontario-based large truck operators involved in the protests. The move effectively suspended their authority to operate throughout Canada. The ministry also issued an order to seize all license place registered to the trucking businesses.

Protesters from outside Ontario faced sanctions of their own in their local jurisdictions.

Overall, 27 seizure orders were issued to large truck operators from outside Ontario, banning them from operating any commercial motor vehicle within the province.

The ministry did not reveal the names of the sanctioned businesses, or the number of trucks affected by the move.

“In an effort to preserve future police investigations into the illegal occupation in Ottawa, the ministry will not release the names of affected businesses at this time,” a ministry spokesperson said to the publication.

In addition to the truck registration suspensions, plates were also suspended for 24 passenger vehicles from Ontario, and 34 passenger vehicles from outside the province.

The House of Commons debated the Emergencies Act, and it passed — with the grotesque support of the NDP, to their everlasting shame. The NDP that, in 1970, voted against Pierre Trudeau’s War Measures Act.

Today they were shamefully united with Trudeau, because they are cowards, and they would rather avoid an election in which they’d surely lose seats, they’d rather have their own personal comfort than stand for civil liberties.

And think of every Liberal MP who violated civil liberties. Liberal. Liberties — the root word is the same. It comes from freedom. But we now know that Liberals do not believe in freedom.

We also know that so many of the people in society who call themselves keepers of liberty, they’re liars. The biggest advocates for the Emergencies Act, other than the thuggish police chiefs and the violent police rank and file who were let loose — the biggest advocates were journalists.

And they raged and raged at anyone who dared to disagree with them. I showed you yesterday how they raged at The New York Times for daring to report that Trudeau deployed men with guns. Why couldn’t handle the contradiction being shoved in their face — that these liberal journalists were shilling for a police state.

When we said it at Rebel News, they could discount it. But when The New York Times said it, they couldn’t make it go away. So they shrieked.

Imagine being someone who decided to burn up your personal political capital to support such a tyrant.

Literally today, as Trudeau was writing his short speech announcing that he was abandoning his Emergencies Act, his shills in the Senate were standing up and speaking in favour of it. Imagine burning up a lifetime of political capital, only to have Trudeau walk away from it moments later. Oh well - it was a useful exercise.

Which politicians — including in the Conservative Party. Oh yes, I didn’t mention it?

The cowards in the Liberal Party who announced that they were very much against it — but that they were going to vote for it anyways, because Trudeau was “forcing” them to.

Trudeau is a disgrace, but he has disgraced Canada too. There is no Canadian reputation around the world like there once was.
