However, if you devote these few minutes, you will understand why it is worth taking a look at what has happened recently in Canada. In our opinion, this is an example of how an authority that depends on international capital and does not care about the fate of citizens can behave.

During the first year after the global lockdown, Canadian citizens behaved quite similar to Australians and Western European nations. The fear of the coronavirus made the overwhelming majority of them adapt to any restrictions that were supposed to help in the fight against the virus. Due to the obedient attitude of Canadians, more than 80% of adult citizens of this country were vaccinated in the second half of 2021 (we mean full vaccination, i.e. two doses). And suddenly some of them began to notice the threat that we already mentioned in 2020. A growing number of situations suggested that the Canadian authorities were not concerned about the health of their citizens, but about being able to control them as much as possible.

Despite the high level of vaccination coverage, Canadians did not see a return to normal. On the contrary, there were often sick situations related to restrictions. Even on Polish-language websites, you can find a photo from a few weeks ago, where the faithful are kneeling in the snow in front of one of the churches. They couldn't go inside because of the restrictions. The photo was taken in the region where 90% of citizens were vaccinated at the time. Not surprisingly, then, they began to wonder: is this what a return to normality looks like?

The doubts increased not only because of the maintenance of the restrictions, but also because of the way in which the unvaccinated people were treated. Not only by the government, but also by larger companies. An example is when one of the large Canadian housing companies reported that unvaccinated people (except for the youngest children) would have to leave their apartments within a certain period of time. This problem has affected a man who is bringing up a sick son alone. According to the company's vision, the son should be vaccinated, but his health did not allow it. My father posted a video in which he tried to intervene in this matter, but the owner of the building was not going to make exceptions.

And so from week to week more and more people came to the conclusion that the whole situation became an opportunity to increase control and stuff the pockets of large corporations. How else would you call the fact that Canada ordered 400 million vaccines to 40 million citizens?

All this meant that in January many Canadians began to positively perceive the organized protest of truck drivers who decided in large numbers to go to the capital of the country.

The media very quickly began to argue that the drivers' protest was triggered by the introduction of the vaccination obligation (without them it would be impossible, for example, to cross the Canadian border with the USA). This is a very far-reaching simplification. If it were this one provision, the dissatisfaction would only apply to the drivers. Meanwhile, their initiative was supported by the activities of hundreds of thousands of people! Some of them simply supported them on the route (food, fuel), some went with them to Ottawa, and some stood on the route with various banners. It must therefore be emphasized that in Canada it is not just protesting against compulsory vaccination. Dissatisfaction is caused by many decisions of the Canadian government that have also violated the fundamental rights of citizens.

Let us also emphasize that people took to the streets despite quite harsh conditions - after all, we are talking about freezing temperatures.
Another important point: who are the protesters?


After reading reports from various events in Canada 🇨🇦 we can give the following answer:

Protesters are vaccinated and unvaccinated. Mainly white people appeared, but there were also black people, Asians and Indians. Single people as well as families with children came.

Therefore, the protests have become a big problem for politicians and mainstream media. A strongly heterogeneous group united by an aversion to government policy. It was difficult to throw such people into one bag. Nevertheless, some tried and, for example, falsely claimed that anti-vaccine protests were taking place in Canada.

This is just extraordinary nonsense, because Reuters information shows that 90% of drivers participating in the protests were vaccinated.

It is worth mentioning that, as usual, Facebook has played its role, removing the group dedicated to the Freedom Convoy. It had 600,000 members.

Going back to the course of the protests themselves - they showed the creativity and determination of the Canadians. The politicians realized that the scale of the protests was significant and that the interest was growing. Therefore, when driving on the highway, it was ordered to turn off some cameras at certain times, so that the world could not see tens of thousands of trucks going to Ottawa.

In the meantime, a fundraiser was launched on the GoFundMe platform to support the protesters. We managed to collect about 10 million dollars and at that moment the events sped up very quickly. Due to the government's intervention, the platform decided to block further fundraising. Do you think that in such a case, a minimal level of decency was demonstrated and the funds were returned? In no case. The platform informed that the money will first be frozen for 2 weeks, and then payers will be able to ask for their return. If they don't, their money will be spent at the company's discretion. Of course, under normal circumstances, no company would decide to do so. Private companies, however, can behave very brazenly when they have a protective umbrella from politicians.

The protesters were not going to lay down their arms. Another platform was quickly found, namely GiveSendGo. Through it, 3.5 million dollars were collected within 2 days! However, it should also be mentioned that the donors' personal data was stolen, and the files were readily shared in the following days by many journalists or local politicians. Due to the enormous scale of the protests that finally reached Ottawa and paralyzed her, the tension was at its peak. On the one hand, we had local politicians who, in response to protesters' demands, endured covid restrictions as much as possible. On the other hand, we had covid fanatics (journalists, politicians) who started portraying the protesters as terrorists. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau returned after several days of isolation and decided to introduce such murder,


A "state of emergency" in Canada

The Canadian government has announced the introduction of the Emergencies Act, which we can simplify as a state of emergency. Let us add that such a step has never been taken in the history of this country.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association immediately pointed out that such an act could only be introduced when a situation seriously threatened the government's ability to maintain Canada's independence, security and territorial integrity. Apparently tens of thousands of trucks and hundreds of thousands of peaceful protesters pose such a threat.

Let's get down to the specifics so that you know what this decision was related to. This was expressed very precisely in her speech by Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland:
Banks and financial service providers can freeze or block accounts immediately without a court order. If they do so, they will be protected from civil lawsuits by acting "in good faith." Government agencies will have new powers to exchange relevant information with banks and other financial service providers to ensure that we can jointly end funding for these illegal protests. It is about tracking money, it is about ending funding for illegal protests. If your truck is involved in an illegal protest, your company's accounts will be blocked and your vehicle's insurance suspended. Take your trucks back, the Canadian economy needs them to work legally, not to make us poorer because of these illegal protests.

Some of you may remember, some of you may not, but the Black Lives Matter movement received a lot of support back then. On the one hand, corporations willingly made large donations, and on the other hand, the media mostly portrayed the protesters on the positive side. On Polish Facebook, the event was presented in a balanced way by the World Hoplophobia Day, which caused a well-known reaction and the profile ceased to exist.

It is puzzling that in the case of events in Canada, the situation is exactly the opposite. Protesters are peaceful, meanwhile donations are blocked from the top. In turn, the media very often stand on the side of the authorities. In our opinion, such situations will reduce trust in governments and mainstream media to embarrassingly low levels.

An example is Mario Draghi, who first carried out such a mission as the president of the ECB, and today is the head of the Italian government, and claims that the unvaccinated are not part of Italian society (over 500,000 people over 50 in Italy have just been suspended from work and lost their right to to the salary due to the lack of vaccination).

Ontario Securities Commission reports two crypto CEOs to RCMP

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has reported a number of cryptocurrency exchange executives to police for speaking out against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s unprecedented use of the Emergencies Act to quash protests.

Both Kraken CEO Jesse Powell and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong were flagged to the police by the OSC.

Powell spoke out after Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced on Feb. 14 that the Trudeau government would seize the assets of convoy protesters and that crowdfunding platforms were now subject to government terrorist financing rules.
“Crowdfunding platforms now regulated under the Canadian Terrorist Financing Act. Do you see where this is going? Please do not fund causes directly from custodial wallets. I’m sure freeze orders are coming. Withdraw to non-custodial before sending,” tweeted Powell the same day.

Powell also donated one bitcoin to the crypto fundraiser HonkHonk Hodl to support the protests prior to the Trudeau government declaring them illegal.

Meanwhile Armstrong said that it was concerning to see the government take such measurest.

“Concerning to see stuff like this happening in any country, especially such an economically free place like Canada. Self-custodial wallets are important!” tweeted Armstrong on Feb. 15.

Trudeau’s powers under the Emergencies Act required financial service providers – including crypto-trading platforms including Coinbase and Kraken – to report any activity by people the government deemed “designated persons.”

OSC financial affairs manager Kristen Rose said that her organization was aware of Powell and Armstrong’s comments and “have shared it with the RCMP and relevant federal authorities.”

During a Commons finance committee meeting on Tuesday, officials with the Department of Finance told parliamentarians that nearly $8 million in Canadians’ funds had been frozen as a result of the protests.

The government also did not rule out that somebody who donated as little as $20 to the movement would have been captured in the freeze.

“It would be unlikely that someone who gave $20 three weeks ago or even $20 post-February 15 would have been captured by a freeze. It’s not impossible,” said assistant deputy finance minister Isabelle Jacques.

“To my knowledge it is over 206 accounts and the total value – the latest number I have – was approximately $7.8 million. We know those accounts are personal and commercial accounts. It’s a mixture of the two.”

The realization of the issue, reflected by a severe undermining of faith in the banking system, is a dramatic problem for those working to create and promote the Digital ID.

It is not coincidental the financial targeting mechanism deployed by Trudeau/Freeland, the Canadian banking system, is the same system being used to create the digital identity. Without the vaccination passport registration process to track and monitor human behavior, the governing authorities cannot fulfill the mission of a comprehensive digital identity and social credit tracking system. Indeed, everything they seek is contingent upon keeping the premise of COVID-19 alive.

It is not accidental the World Economic Forum is at the epicenter of this

As we previously noted, the architects of the Build Back Better society (WEF) are guiding various governments on ways to create efficient registration and compliance systems, i.e. ways that permit citizens to prove their vaccinated and compliant status. As these discussions are taking place, it is prudent to pause and think very carefully, wisely.

We all know, as we are reading this, under the guise of enhancing our safety, the U.S. Federal Government is in discussions with the medical community, multinational corporations and employers of citizens to create a more efficient process for you to register your vaccine compliance.

We know their conversation under the terminology of a COVID Passport. The current goal is to make a system for us to show and prove our authorized work status, which, as you know, is based on your obedience to a mandated vaccine.

Beta tests are being conducted in various nations, each with different perspectives and constitutional limitations, based on pesky archaic rules and laws that govern freedom.

For the western, or for lack of a better word ‘democratic‘ outlook, Australia, New Zealand, France and Europe are leading the way with their technological system of vaccination check points and registered state/national vaccination status tied to your registration identification.

New York City joined the vaccine checkpoint process, as their city now requires the vaccine to enter all private businesses. Los Angeles soon followed.

The Australian electronic checkpoints are essentially gateways where QR codes are being scanned from the cell phones of the compliant vaccinated citizen. Yes comrades, there’s an app for that.

Currently, the vaccine status scans are registered by happy compliance workers, greeters at the entry to the business or venue. Indeed, the Walmart greeter has a new gadget to scan your phone prior to allowing you custody of a shopping cart.

In restaurants, the host or hostess has a similar compliance scanner to check you in prior to seating or a reservation confirmation.

It’s simple and fun. You pull up your QR code on your cell phone (aka portable transponder and registration device), using the registration app, and your phone is scanned delivering a green check response to confirm your correct vaccination status and authorized entry.

The Australian government, at both a federal and state level, is working closely with Big Tech companies (thirsting for the national contract) to evaluate the best universal process that can be deployed nationwide.

As noted by all six Premiers in the states down under, hardware (scanners) and software (registration) systems are all being tested to find the most comprehensive/convenient portable units to settle upon. Meanwhile in the U.S., cities like Los Angeles and New York await the beta test conclusion before deploying their own version of the same process.

In Europe, they are also testing their vaccine checkpoint and registration processes known as the EU “Green Pass.”

The “Green Pass” is a similar technological system that gives a vaccinated and registered citizen access to all the venues and locations previously locked down while the COVID-19 virus was being mitigated. What would have been called a “vast right-wing conspiracy theory” 24 months ago, is now a COVID passport process well underway.

As with all things in our rapid technological era, you do not have to squint to see the horizon and accept that eventually this process will automate, and there will be a gadget or scanning gateway automatically granting you access without a person needing to stand there and scan each cell phone QR code individually.

The automated process just makes sense. You are well aware your cell phone already transmits an electronic beacon enabling your Uber or Lyft driver access to your location at the push of a touchscreen button, another convenient app on your phone. So, why wouldn’t the gateways just accept this same recognizable transmission as registration of your vaccine compliant arrival at the coffee shop?

The automated version is far easier and way cooler than having to reach into your pocket or purse and pulling up that pesky QR code on the screen. Smiles everyone, the partnership between Big Tech and Big Government is always there to make your transit more streamline and seamless. Heck, you won’t even notice the electronic receiver mounted at the entry. Give it a few weeks and you won’t remember the reason you were laughing at Alex Jones any more than you remember why you are taking off your shoes at the airport.

However, as this process is created, it is worth considering that you are being quietly changed from an individual person to a product. Some are starting to worry in the beta test:

All product-based systems have these gates to control the flow of stock and weed out errors. It is how computers see things. The more gates, the more clarity.

You are updating the government like a parcel pings Australia Post on its way to a customer. If a fault is found, automatic alerts are issued, and you are stopped from proceeding. In New South Wales, this comes in the form of a big red ‘X’ on the myGov vaccine passport app (if you managed to link your Medicare account without smashing the phone to bits).

Gate-keeping systems have been adapted from retail and transformed into human-based crowd solutions to micromanage millions of lives with the same ruthless efficiency as barcodes tracking stock. There is no nuance or humanity in this soulless digital age. Barcodes are binary. Good – bad. Citizen or dissident.

Even if you have all the required government attributes to pass through the gates – two vaccines, six boosters, and a lifelong subscription to Microsoft – something could go wrong. If your data fails the scan, you’ll slip into digital purgatory and become an error message. (read more)

It could be problematic if your status fails to register correctly, or if the system identifies some form of alternate lifestyle non-compliance that will block you from entry. Then again, that’s what beta tests are for, working out all these techno bugs and stuff. Not to worry…. move along….

Then again… “For those in the privileged class allowed to shop, take note of Covid signs which encourage cashless transactions under the guise of ‘health’. Messaging around cards being ‘safer’ will increase until the Treasury tries to remove cash entirely, almost certainly with public approval.”

Wait, now we are squinting at that familiar image on the horizon because we know those who control things have been talking about a cashless society for quite a while.

We also know that data is considered a major commodity all by itself. Why do you think every system you encounter in the modern era requires your phone number even when you are not registering for anything. It, meaning you, us, are all getting linked into this modern registration system that is defining our status. We also know that system operators buy and sell our registered status amid various retail and technology systems.

Yeah, that opaque shadow is getting a little clearer now.

Perhaps you attempt to purchase dog food and get denied entry into Pet Smart because you didn’t renew the car registration. Or perhaps you are blocked from entry because you forgot to change the oil on the leased vehicle you drive, and Toyota has this weird agreement with some retail consortium. You head to the oil change place that conveniently pops up in the citizen compliance App –it’s only two blocks away– they clear the alert after they do the oil change, and you are gateway compliant again.

Missed your booster shot? We’re sorry citizen, your bank account is frozen until your compliance is restored… please proceed to the nearest vaccination office as displayed conveniently on your cell phone screen to open access to all further gates (checkpoints)…. tap to continue!

I don't know about that ... it seems the invasion is a perfectly timed major distraction from the "freedom convoy" protest global unification and fallout from certain government's actions, the exposures of the "Great Reset" coming out in more mainstream platforms, the exposures of the WEF global takeover, and the more common knowledge of its members, and the invocation of anew "crisis" in Europe, and a further reach energy crisis (considering Ukraine's role in oil movement and distribution), in which to take advantage of in a type Hegelian dialect.

Justice Centre sues feds over abuse of the Emergencies Act
POSTED ON: FEBRUARY 25, 2022

OTTAWA: The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has filed a constitutional challenge on behalf of four Canadians, including two decorated military veterans and a retired police officer, to the Trudeau Government invocation of the Emergencies Act on February 14, 2022.
Two of the applicants represented by the Justice Centre had their bank accounts frozen and seized, without judicial authorization or a review process, using laws that normally only apply to terrorists and enemy nations. The Justice Centre’s legal action will argue that the use of the Emergencies Act was unconstitutional and an excessive use of Executive Power, not authorized by the law in the circumstances.

Edward Cornell, a 64-year-old retired Warrant Officer of the Canadian Armed Forces from New Brunswick was awarded a Medal of Bravery on June 15, 1987, in recognition of heroism in hazardous circumstances during active duty in Cyprus, where he saved a man from drowning. Mr. Cornell also served as an auxiliary officer with the Ontario Provincial Police from 2013 to 2015. On different occasions in January and February 2022, Mr. Cornell decided to go to Ottawa to support the truckers involved in the freedom rallies taking place in the country’s capital.

He wore his military medals while supporting the protests and states, “I had zero beliefs or intentions about overthrowing the elected government of Canada… my military record supports my belief in standing up for democracy and democratic rights all over the world.”

In a sworn affidavit that will be filed with the Federal Court, Mr. Cornell states that the protests were “entirely peaceful” and “festive and friendly,” without any hostility from anyone towards anyone, with people of all different backgrounds, races, and ethnicities present.

Mr. Cornell was asked to help liaise between police and protestors, and earned the trust of people as he served as liaison. His efforts ended in his bank accounts and credit cards being frozen, and he was unable to access them. Mr. Cornell says, “I was left in a very desperate situation and unable to pay any of my bills that were due during this time.” He used cash to return to New Brunswick from Ottawa. Mr. Cornell was prevented from using a toll bridge that accepted payment only by debit or credit card, forcing a longer drive.

Mr. Cornell said his experience having his bank accounts seized has been traumatic. “I broke no law, yet the government seized my accounts and froze my hard-earned money. I am not a criminal. I am not a terrorist. I am a retired Canadian military veteran who honourably served his country… I feel betrayed by my own government,” he added.

The Justice Centre represents another decorated military veteran and a retired police officer in this action. The Applicants have asked the Federal Court of Canada to find that Prime Minister Trudeau’s February 14th declaration of a national emergency was unconstitutional, unjustified, and unauthorized by law. This court action argues that there were no grounds or facts to support the existence of a real national security threat to Canada when the declaration was made.

In the case of a “public order emergency,” which is how the declaration was positioned, there is a requirement that the emergency must amount to a “threat to the security of Canada” which includes “acts of serious violence against persons or property for the purpose of achieving a political, religious or ideological objective within Canada.”

Late in the day on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, while the Senate was actively debating the measures, Mr. Trudeau announced he was revoking the Emergencies Act.

The Justice Centre has engaged constitutional lawyers Brendan Miller of Foster LLP and Blair Ector, of Ector Law, to act on behalf of the Justice Centre and clients, and will proceed with the court action as a matter of public interest, to hold the Canadian government accountable for their decision, and force them to justify the emergency that justified the use of such extraordinary powers and infringement on Canadians’ Charter rights and freedoms. The Justice Centre will proceed with legal action to what Justice Centre President John Carpay calls one of the “most egregious and disturbing, unnecessary, and unjustified power grabs” by a democratic government in his lifetime.

“The freezing of bank accounts is a gross abuse of government power, used to punish those who supported a peaceful protest for the return of Charter rights and freedoms that were taken away from Canadians 23 months ago,” concludes Mr. Carpay.

Given the Emergencies Act invocation (and even after its revocation) it is now dangerous to protest in any form against anything in Canada!

Given the Emergencies Act invocation (and even after its revocation) it is now dangerous to protest in any form against anything in Canada!

Yes we are now living under a fascist dictatorship (1984 on steroids).

Freeland explicitly stated (legal or not) that they would be permanently implementing legislation that could impose restrictions on protesters.

So it wouldn't surprise me if they were compiling a facial recognition/cellphone signal database of everyone participating at ANY protest such as this one.


I'd just like to pipe up with a comment on the bolded above... now we can see why they want to inject EVERYONE with a tracking device connected to digital identity - faces can be covered, phones can be left at home but when they have you injected with a tracking device there will be no privacy or anonymity anymore -

I don't see how this is going to work. Or how would this be different than welfare? Which is a low level of income...where does the money come from?

The other effect that this will have - if it allows enough money to stay at home and not work, then people will not be inclined to find a job.

During the time when the gov was handing out money during covid for people who lost work due to covid, we had a hard time finding people who were willing to do a simple job which would have also at least doubled the amount of money in their hands than staying at home accepting the covid coin.

Well, UBI and GBI are off topic here, so i'll try to connect it to the protest picture going on :) lol I don't see a good active thread being discussed right now about UBI. Just one from 2018 ish.

It almost seems like covid and the trucker protests and whatever next (war?) is playing a role in making everyone not want to work, partly due to disgust of the system and many tired of being paid peanuts or being overworked.

Perhaps a UBI will just end up collapsing the system - their goal. Or, they are just getting us so broken and desperate, plus totally censored that we wont care or be able to know where the money is coming from. Because they could break out their megabucks from the shadow economy to easily fund this for sometime if it meant them reaching their goal of total control in exchange for UBI money. I have inside knowledge that the bar codes on our Birth Certificate (the corporate one) are linked to something the gov't is USING! this is directly from the gov't worker on duty leaking hints.

Most likely is that we all have insurance accounts opened at birth and accumulating money our whole life. Gotta insure all the slaves, so we are bonded in case we do bad and cant pay back the system from our earned money. So not sure if they could pay us with UBI stealthily from these accounts. Or maybe they are using these monetary instruments on the market packaged as derivatives or whatever to make money.

Back on topic more. the question is whether they knew the truckers would protest the mandates. Or if they just decided to enforce mandates sector by sector until some group fought back. the truckers are the right group to provoke if wanting to take out the supply chain more and grind many many jobs to a halt. So, then masses of unemployed whine for more stimulus checks or this time go for the UBI. Add a war to that and emergency powers and maybe they can get the public to demand a UBI. If things are out of hand maybe they can conceal where the money is coming from.

So, Ontario (including ottawa) is reversing the vaccine mandates for the truckers and gov't workers? Or all citizens?
Does that mean the convoys will end or they got more bones to pick? I need to catch up on whats going on and what happened with the convoy going to D.C. Been distracted by the war lol. *Excellent !!* just as they planned :)

Rex Murphy: Will anyone apologize for falsely accusing truckers of attempted arson in Ottawa?

This week, we found out that the attempt to burn down an apartment building in Ottawa, which was so widely and wildly heralded during the Freedom Convoy protest, had nothing to do with the truckers.

Please let this sink in. At the time, such was the volume of assumption, innuendo and outright allegation that everyone from Nanaimo, B.C., to Nain, N.L., formed the impression that this despicable action, an outrage by any standard, was the work of the truckers.
Not true. False. Nothing to do at all with the protesters. It was allegedly the work of two Ottawa miscreants who were working alone.
You will easily remember that the most grisly feature of this attempt to set the apartment building alight — the affair was caught on security cameras and made it all over the internet — was that the handles of the exit doors were taped shut, so that, had they been successful, residents would not be able to escape the inferno.
Those who saw that could not forget just how vicious the deed was meant to be and could not help but deplore the type of person who would contemplate such a thing. A lot of the contempt and anger it stirred was directed toward the innocent protesters. It’s important to note this.
By Wednesday, however, we knew that all suspicions about the truckers, all the condemnations that showered forth from the House of Commons, all the fulmination from the mayor of Ottawa, all the jaundiced comments on Twitter were wrong, after Ottawa police arrested a second person in relation to the arson who was not known to be connected to the protest in any way. Keep in mind that the Ottawa police themselves had never alleged that the crime had anything to do with the Freedom Convoy. All who did, did so on their own.
Also keep in mind that, as one of the most dramatic incidents of the entire protest, it offered a very convenient contributing pretext for the declaration of the Emergencies Act. These two malicious gits allegedly attempting to light the whole apartment building on fire and locking everyone inside certainly contributed to the atmosphere in which calling down the full power of the emergency legislation was easy to do.
Consider the words of our current coalition co-prime minister, Jagmeet Singh, on this event. Singh had no doubt who was behind the arson. Here he is, in his own extravagant and completely erroneous words, speaking on the convoy protest in the House of Commons:
“This convoy protest is not a peaceful protest.… Violence is commonplace. We saw an example of this violence with an attempted arson of a downtown apartment building, where people started a fire and taped the doors closed when they exited. I ask members to take a moment to think what that means. They had the forethought to set a fire and then tape the doors so no one could escape. This is not isolated. There are ongoing examples.”
You add Singh’s incendiary charges to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s brutal descriptions of the protesters — racists, homophobes, misogynists, etc. — and the alarmist rhetoric coming from MPs and the mayor of Ottawa, and it’s easy to see how the Emergencies Act found so much support.
Well, now that the central act, the biggest scare of the whole ordeal, has been established as having nothing to do with the maligned truckers, will there be apologies from all those concerned? Will there be statements of regret about hastily maligning a largely peaceful protest?
One other key point: does this kind of wild accusation, made without proof, fall under the government’s newfound concern for misinformation? Will the government work to prevent such malignant mistruths from being spread among its own ranks with the same vigour with which it will surely go after its foes? Let me use an old and possibly faded expression: not in a month of Sundays.
Clearly, we desperately need a public inquiry into why the Emergencies Act got called into play. We need to know the assumptions on which it was based. And we need to know why it was hauled down before the Senate had a chance to vote on it.
We need to know, in essence, if the Trudeau government wielded such a big hammer for its own convenience, on a protest it had demonized, and that had been perhaps fatally slandered by the most outrageous allegation of all: that its members were willing to burn a building, while barring the exit.
Whether, given the recent NDP-Liberal nuptials, we are ever likely to see a real inquiry is a point I shall leave up to honest readers to determine.

Not quite right about "no one knows".
But correct that the journalists had no interest in going in to find out who was carrying the flag and what his motive(s) was(were).
That would spoil the sensationalist story that the P.M. fed off of.

There's a precious video that circulated a couple of weeks after the flags were spotted where a man who was there at the time learned that the man carrying the flags was in fact doing what Peterson suggested "... someone who was making the comment that that was what was characteristic of the government, not of what they believe."

More specifically they were carrying the flags to show where the country was heading to if the crazy mandates weren't stopped!

So the 'crazy lunatic' who was sporting the flags was not promoting Naziism but warning that the country was heading towards a Nazi state!

I watched this clip again just now and would like to make a few comments on it.

Peterson:
"He's crafted a persona, he has a particular instrumental goal in mind and everything is subordinated to serve that."

Interviewer:
"Why, what's the motivation?"

Peterson:
"The same motivation that's generally typical of people who are narcissistic, which is to uh, be accredited with moral virtue in the absence of the work necessary to actually attain it. He's playing a role...."


Peterson has been given so many opportunities to set the record straight with Trudeau, but he's always beating around the bush.
And he could easily just tell it like it is in any of his Youtube offerings. But he doesn't.

He did it in the Rex Murphy interview couple of months ago (where he explained Trudeau's behavior by basically saying he has personality issues) and also now in this interview he's using the same lame excuse (that Trudeau is a narcissist).

Yes Trudeau is a narcissist. It's obvious. But that doesn't explain his actions over the past couple of years.

Trudeau is a puppet of Schwab and the W.E.F., first and foremost. That is where his allegiance is, not to Canadians.
He is also up to his neck in back-room deals with companies (Big Pharma, Acuitas Therapeutics, Arbutus Biopharma Corp. etc.)


And so I have come to the conclusion that one of these three reasons is at the heart of why Peterson doesn't come clean about Trudeau and tell Canadians and the world what's really motivating Trudeau now.

1. He just doesn't get what's really happening.
2. He has cognitive dissonance.
3. He gets what's really happening but he's controlled opposition.
4. He gets what's really happening but needs to bite his tongue for fear of getting cancelled or worse. (Tyy1907)

Peterson is a Psychologist afaik so he kind of uses that lingo. No he's not going full ""tinfoil hat" on Trudeau, it's almost like he pities him to some extent.

He could be carefully walking the line trying not to get cancelled or worse.

Federal Court of Canada strikes down Trudeau's use of emergency powers against 2022 “Freedom Convoy”

The Federal Court of Canada has ruled against PM Justin Trudeau's invocation of emergency legislation to manage the 2022 "Freedom Convoy" protests.

The government "cannot invoke the Emergencies Act because it is convenient, or because it may work better than other tools at their disposal or available to the provinces," stated Justice Richard Mosley labeling the government's action as "unreasonable."

This decision comes as a setback to Trudeau's government, which now faces legal and public scrutiny over its handling of the protests against Covid-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland has already announced plans to appeal the court's ruling.

The protests, which brought Ottawa and various border crossings to a standstill in 2022, were met with a stern governmental response, including freezing the bank accounts of the protesters.

Federal Court of Appeal confirms Emergencies Act was illegally used against peaceful protests

OTTAWA, ON: The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms welcomes today’s decision of the Federal Court of Appeal, which affirms the lower court ruling that the Trudeau government’s use of the Emergencies Act against peaceful protesters in Ottawa in February 2022 was illegal.

The Court confirmed that the high legal threshold required to invoke the Emergencies Act was not met, and that the situation in Ottawa could have been addressed using existing Canadian laws without resorting to emergency powers.

Lawyers funded by the Justice Centre were on the ground in Ottawa throughout all three weeks of the peaceful Freedom Convoy protest in January and February 2022, observing events as they unfolded and providing legal support to Canadians exercising their Charter freedoms of expression, association, and peaceful assembly.

The Justice Centre provided lawyers for four Canadians who participated in the Freedom Convoy and who challenged the invocation of the Emergencies Act in Federal Court. Those applicants were Jeremiah Jost, Edward Cornell, Rev. Harold Ristau, and Vincent Gircys, who suffered serious harm as a result of the emergency measures, including the freezing of bank accounts.

The Justice Centre was granted standing before the Public Order Emergency Commission, where lawyers cross-examined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other senior government officials under oath about their decision to invoke emergency powers against peaceful demonstrators in 2022. Since that time, the Justice Centre has continued to fund the legal defence of dozens of Canadians, including Chris Barber, who have been criminally charged simply for peacefully exercising their Charter rights during the Freedom Convoy.

Justice Centre president John Carpay said, “This decision confirms what Canadians witnessed in real time in 2022. The Emergencies Act was never meant to be used against peaceful citizens exercising fundamental freedoms.”

Mr. Carpay added, “Today’s ruling is a significant victory for the rule of law and for the principle that governments are bound by limits, even in moments of political pressure. Emergency powers must remain truly exceptional, or they cease to be compatible with a free and democratic society.”

The Justice Centre will continue its work defending Canadians whose Charter rights and freedoms are threatened by government overreach.
